Ellie and Jay

Hey!

We’re Ellie and Jay, a relaxed and friendly couple planning to move to the Gold Coast in January, as Jay’s course will be starting in late January. We’re really looking forward to slowing things down a little, enjoying the sunshine, and building a comfortable home here.

I work full-time as a café manager / barista, so my schedule is quite regular. Jay will be focusing mainly on his studies and doing some casual work on the side. We’ve been living in Australia for over three years and have called Cairns, Canberra, and Brisbane home at different stages, so we’re very used to shared living and settling into new places.

At home, we’re tidy, respectful, and pretty easy to live with. We like keeping shared spaces clean, but we’re not intense about it. In our downtime, you’ll usually find us at the gym, checking out new cafés, or just having a quiet night in. We’re not party people, but we enjoy good conversations and a calm, positive household.

We’re also big animal lovers, so if there are pets around, that’s definitely a bonus for us 🐾

We’re hoping to find a place that feels like home and housemates we can get along with easily.
