Hi! I'm a PhD student studying astrophysics at Macquarie Uni, originally from Queensland. This is a ~3 year program, so I'm looking for a room or studio/flat in Sydney for part of or all of the program length. This will involve me going into Uni most week days, but I will WFH on the occasion. I also teach at the Uni and love communicating science in my spare time.

I am reasonably shy and reserved, but can be very social after getting to know new people. I highly value cleanliness and communication, as well as a good kitchen to bake sweets and bread in! I'm open to households that have friends over now and again, but also respectful of houses that would prefer to avoid that. I am vegetarian and absolutely love animals, so am more than happy to be among dogs and to ferry the odd spider outside.

I enjoy watching film and tv, reading, procrasti-baking, as well as going for walks/hikes and the odd frisbee/squash/badminton here and there. I've gotten quite into running, and enjoy going on parkruns every Saturday as well as an extra run or two each week. I'm also hoping to get back into landscape painting and pick up piano as a hobby!
