Hunter and Makaela

My name is Hunter and I will be moving up to Brisbane with my girlfriend Makaela around September 2025. Makaela will be starting a full-time masters physio program at UQ and I will be working.
I currently live in Victoria, playing semi-professional basketball, running a small basketball skills coaching business and also working at a gym doing customer service a few days a week. I intend to continue doing this once we move up to Brisbane. Makaela currently coaches at a junior soccer program but will look to get some part-time work while she completes her study. Both of us will be fairly busy with our commitments, but are super excited to find a nice spot to live and meet new people.
In our spare time we love to get out and do things like go to live music, surf, go on walks out in nature, watch movies and socialise.
We are ideally looking for a room in a house/apartment with like minded people that we will get along with. We don't really want to be living in a sharehouse of 5+ people but would rather be sharing a space with 2-3 max. Out budget will be around 300-400 a week.
