Tom and Emily

Hello!

We’re Tom and Emily, a couple from the UK arriving in Sydney on 3rd October 2025. We’re planning to live and work in Sydney for the next 2–3 years, make great memories, and fully embrace the Aussie way of life!

We’re both easygoing, working professionals with experience living in shared homes. Emily is a registered chartered surveyor, and I (Tom) work as a data scientist and scientific researcher. Outside of work, we’re active and outdoorsy—we love the beach, hiking, swimming, and cycling. We’re also sociable, but definitely value a clean, calm, and respectful home environment.

We’re open to either a 1-bed flat or a room in a shared house, ideally with an en-suite (although that’s not essential). Our main wish is to be within walking distance (20 mins or less) of the beach—we plan to spend a lot of our downtime there!
