I’m Jamal! Hot chip aficionado (pro chicken salt advocate) and your next breath of fresh air in your lovely home !

Wow ! Check out your place ! I love it ! I've been share-housing already for almost a year back home and while I’m quite new to the share house game, I do still know how to contribute to a nice vibe in a small household community and have lived for long periods by myself in the past, attempting to make many spaces a home 🥰.

I love a glass of wine and people watching (flexible with beverage options), cooking with others (when I learn how to cook a decent meal) and foraging for the next best marketplace find to add to our abode. I also appreciate quiet time but always up for a chat.

I’m moving to Canberra for a graduate role with the Department of Education and come from a background in sales... that means I can make you a deal that you can’t refuse.. I aim to be in Canberra for 10 months starting early Feb 2026.

In my spare time I enjoy playing netball socially! You should come along! Weekends usually revolve around a soliciting resident advisor for a fun event or free styling chaos for a fun night out. Needless to say that I also enjoy my Sims 4 night in - they get lonely too. Aside from that, I do mix some music (yes, djaying). Tutorials are available upon request!

In a share house, I’m ideally looking for queer/queer-friendly, respectful people that balance fun and functionality in the house. I have grown up in a migrant family so yes I can clean and will make a meal that may or may not turn out how Nonna would approve of.. shame.
