Hi I'm Kai, I'm 19, FTM and a veterinary nurse looking to move to Sydney from the Gold Coast in late October 2025 to continue my education into wildlife/exotic nursing. I am currently receiving DSP and NDIS supports and am aiming to have casual work lined up which will likely be two 8am-6pm shifts per week as a vet nurse. Although I don't have any dogs or cats coming with me, I do have a small parrot (Seonghwa, approx. 9 years old) and a small python (Lieutenant Dan, approx. 2 years old) who will be staying with my parents until I bring them down after Christmas.
I love animals of all kinds and would love to share a home with other pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles or otherwise). In my spare time I enjoy going and exploring new areas, archery, gaming, shopping and admittedly I have a slight addiction to kpop and khiphop concerts haha. I am a big music loser and, unfortunately, a kpop collector.

I am looking for ideally sociable and friendly housemates who enjoy a good chat every so often. I'm happy to share with people of any age, gender, culture, etc as long as they're friendly and respectful and don't mind if I occasionally have a mate over (with prior notice/consent of course). Other pets are definitely a plus but not essential; as long as you are respectful of my own animals and our boundaries all is well. I have a support worker who will need to come to the house typically once or twice per week for a few hours and I can get a professional cleaner through the NDIS once a month who can clean just my room, the whole house or select areas, depending on everyone's comfort.
