Hey there!! I'm an American backpacker currently on a gap year before I attend university in 2018 back in the States. I'm visiting Australia on a working holiday, and as of writing this am travelling down the well-beaten backpacking trail from Cairns to Sydney! I'll first end up in Sydney at around the middle of November, where after a couple of days to decompress I'll start looking for jobs and a place to live if I haven't found one yet! I should have a couple of weeks left on my bedhopper hostel pass to get me through to the very beginning of December. I plan on working over the summer from approximately the end of November to the middle of March, and it's during those three-to-four months of time that I'm looking for somewhere to stay. I'm looking to bartend ideally (although if push comes to shove I'm not picky), so I might come home at odd hours (although I'll absolutely be as quiet and respectful of your sleeping schedule as is humanly possible). I'm primarily looking to save heaps of money over the summer with access to an amazing city to explore (hence why I'm trying to beat the odds and do so in Sydney as opposed to a cheap town somewhere), so I won't be keen on more than the odd night out, which would make me a pretty easy-going and low-maintenance, albeit nocturnal, roommate. Would be much more a fan of board games and drinks on a night in with friends. I'm also trying to learn to cook as best as I can (that's one of my summer goals!), so if you're good with trying a variety of potentially-terrible-but-hopefully-brilliant dishes and dealing with strange smells as I furiously clean the kitchen to get rid of them as I get better at my craft, we'll make a wonderful team :) I consider myself a very clean, chill, and diligent person that would make a lovely addition to practically any group as long as you're keen to have me. My preferences with regards to roommates are around the ages of 18-25ish, clean, looking to talk and hang out (I'd love to be your friend especially considering my social contact is limited to other transient backpackers and my 14-time-zone-away friends at home), and respectful. I'm one of the most laid-back people you'll ever meet for 99% of things, and flexibility is also something that I appreciate in others. Bonus points if you're into indie rock, scary movies, or romantic comedies as those are my three culture passions! Otherwise--I'm a cat lover, wannabe writer, music maniac, budding globetrotter, tea fanatic, and avocado addict who would love to meet you and see if I fit into your place!
Hiya! I'm a soon to be forensic science honours graduate looking for a place a bit further out of the city than where I currently live (Newtown). I'm an open, straightforward person, I am also generally quiet and keep to myself, but do not shy away from socialising. I pole dance for fitness and I have a portable pole I can bring if you'll allow it! Keen to find a place which is more modern than where I currently live, and with a bit more space (can fit a double bed, wardrobe and desk easily).
Originally from Brisbane and now living in Sydney Have worked as a Designer, Visual Merchandiser and VIP Gaming and Events and addicted to travelling! Love spending spare time finding random adventures in Sydney ~ Very easy to get along with, love being social and respectful of housemates!

I'm easy going and sociable looking to downsize from my apartment and enjoy the company of flatemates. I spend a lot of time outdoors and at the beach training and volunteering as a lifesaver. When I'm not working I also enjoy eating out, movies and cooking.
I have a B.Arts (History) so I work full-time as a landscaper and have done a lot of construction work so I can help with anything around the place. If you’ve got a garden, I’m you’re guy. I’ll also be out a fair bit - I’ll be at training most evenings.
We are moving to Sydney as we have both been offered new jobs. I will be working as a food product development manager and Adam will be working as a professional photographer. Adam is very funny and I'm not funny at all but I love a good laugh. I used to be a chef so nothing makes me happier than a clean kitchen and Adam likes to garden and fix things. We both love dogs and are very easily won over by pet owners. Non smokers and very responsible drinkers.
Personable, friendly and clean but mostly quite busy. I work in audit/professional line of service. 6 months and happy to stay longer if things work out
I'm a Singaporean who's here on a 3 year study visa doing an undergraduate in Film and TV. Here with my wife for the duration. We are a good, friendly couple. Easy to live with and we love doing coffee, Netflix and or movie dates. 😊
I’m a 27 year old teacher with a 10 year old Labrador. I’m looking to rent a place while I save up for my own place. I consider myself a friendly, laidback person who doesn’t mind a chat yet at the same time I’m respectful of people’s space.

I'm up for a beer or two or wine or whatever even just juice 😄 I am a tidy person and I dont want a messy place. I am not always home since sometimes over the weekend i'm staying at my boyfriends place. Shoot me a text if youre looking for a person to share the flat with. looking forward to hearing from you guys! By the way planning to move in the middle of november or first week december but can also move ASAP.
We are all first/second year university students/working part time, who are looking for a place with 3 bedrooms to move into as of December-January. We will all be studying full time, at UNSW, Macquarie, and USYD, as well as working. We are quiet, tidy, all non smokers, and we don't own any pets. Our max budget is $750 per week for all 3 bedrooms, and having the bills/internet included in the price would be really great! Somewhere with basic furnishings such as a fridge, a washing machine, and beds would also be ideal. Please don't hesitate to contact me for any information, or if you would like to look at our social media accounts to check us out! :)
Im a quiet, respectful and appreciate peoples kindness. I work full time (6 days a week) So I’m home only to rest & chill out really.
Me and my partner Mel are looking for a room in an awesome sharehouse.. We’ve been together for 5 years, you will not have any dramas with us :) we are looking for longer term so must have a homely feel.. no half way houses.. we are extremely down to earth, very clean and respectful. We are both very active and love to cook (and drink wine) we both work full time, myself as a horticulturist for secret gardens and Mel works at Coates hire.. I’m also trying to establish a small side business so we keep pretty busy. We are looking to live with like minded people who like to have a laugh at home or movie night or grab a bite to eat at the local but who is also respectful of noise and cleanliness. (Not interested in 4+ bedrooms or filthy, tiny homes)
I am a 25 year old engineer (with social skills 😮😂) looking to move to a more happening park of Sydney as I love exploring and trying new things! I'm a relaxed guy, who respects peoples personal space. At the same time I am keen to hang out, have a beer/coffee and chat about anything. I am a pretty clean and organised guy. I lived in the same room with two other guys for a semester in uni, and none of us killed each other. So I must be pleasant to live with haha. I have a solid full-time job as a Civil Engineer so you don't have to worry about me not paying rent on time. I usually work 7-5 Mon-Friday, with the occasional night shifts. I like to cook, mainly when I can collaborate with others, and I make some bomb ass pancakes 🥞. I'm really into my sports, mainly football (soccer) and basketball, also a bit into tennis and golf. I love to adventure and experience as much of my city as possible, such as live gigs, new parks, cafes, and bars, and also like to roadtrip when I can, my car is kitted out for it! If you've made it to the end, congratulations, I hope I seem like a good housemate, I think I will be! 😊
I take pride on myself being a fun person, someone who is always up for a chat or to go out and see the sights. I am a clean, tidy person, having lived in shared environments in Sydney (in a boarding facility with 50 other people) and Newcastle (in a share house with 11 other people and then University accommodation with 5 other people), so I understand that no one wants to live in a messy environment.
I am a 25 year old Canadian female here for my masters degree in occupational therapy and part time work as well! I am friendly, clean and respectful. I enjoy being active, having beach days, drinks with friends, painting and I absolutely love animals ! Please message me if you would like to chat more :)
Hey hey, I’m on the hunt for a new home! I'm looking for a fun, social sharehouse somewhere in the Newtown/Marrickville area with people around my age (I’m 25). I'd like a place where everyone is mates and hangs out, but I can also respect other peoples space! I'm friendly, easy-going and social. I’m always up for hangs and chats, a trip to the pub/a game of pool or adventures around the city. Im currently living in Stanmore but my lease runs out soon. I'm wanting somewhere $250 or under but can stretch up to $280 for the right place and I am looking for somewhere I can stay long-term. I also have my own bedroom furniture that I will be bringing with me. I don’t really mind how many housemates I have, but I do have a preference for larger share houses. Let me know if you have anything!
I work in civil construction doing shift work (7 days 3 off, 7 nights 4 off), then go straight to gym/boxing, so i wont be around most of the time. Pretty laid back/friendly person, very clean and hygienic, always respect the privacy of others. Also spend alot of time at my girlfriends place, or out with friends.
I'm 25, originally from Macau and just about to start my Masters degree in nursing at Usyd. I've been living in Sydney for the past six years now, but try to travel as often as I can. I work night shifts in hospitality between a restaurant and a bar about 4-5 nights a week, depending on how busy the season is. On my day offs, I enjoy staying active by training maybe four days a week or going to the beach. I also enjoy staying home to cook and read or netflix. Occasionally, I'll join contortion or fire eating workshops but will never practice at home! I am clean and respect other people's privacy, not after a party house but wouldn't mind sharing meals and drinks with housemates from time to time. OK with pets
