I recently graduated from an Audio Engineering degree last year and am currently working in retail 4-5 days a week. Eliza is currently studying design at COFA and is also working in retail. We are both friendly, creative and easy going. Always up for a laugh and a conversation.
Hi i'm Angus :). I'm a 26 year old Radiographer working in Newtown and am looking for other like minded young professional's to share with. I'm an easy going, social guy, who's always up for a chat, love to cook and will always contributes fairly to a household, in regards to cleaning and communal's. I work 5-6 days a week during business hours, and would be home most evenings, but like to get out of the house on the weekends. Looking for a new home to be apart of, keen to save on rent and make some new mates. Looking to find a place ASAP, need to move by the 28th of February. Cheers !
Hi I am Liv. I am happy, neat, relaxed and friendly. I am looking for some housemates who want to make the house we find a happy home. I have lived in Sydney for nearly four years but I have always just lived with one other housemate. I am excited to go into a house with around 3-4 other people as I am a people-lover and am a huge extrovert. I want to be with people who are positive and happy and who will not say no to hanging out over some wine.
I am a (reasonably) young and vibrant woman with quite a bit of personality and a seemingly good sense of humour. I am looking for a transition apartment for a few months. I am a heritage consultant and have lived in Aus for 5 years. I offer to be respectful and tidy as well as prepare home cooked meals (if you don't mind rich french food!) and share a bottle of wine occasionally. I'm generally easy going and open minded so whether you like to have a chat at the end of the day or prefer privacy suits me. Get in touch to ask any questions!
Easy to live with, bubbly, sociable but like to have quite times on my own watching movies or documentary. Love cooking meals, I am non-smoker but like to have couple of drinks. Have a teenage daughter and shy cat call lulu. looking to move in with one extra person to share accommodation with us and live close to the city.
Hi, I'm looking a short or long term room, ideally a relaxed, positive home with genuine people. Consider myself to be easygoing and considerate. I have full time job with an eCommerce company. Been share housing for a while and always pay my bills on time. My interests are cycling, travel, movies and live music. I'm from South America, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I speak Spanish and am happy to help you practice :)
We're a young couple who are looking to move in together, and with some great other people too! We're both first years, Lachie is studying at UTS and Milly at NIDA. We're both social people who enjoy conversation and food (but also know the importance of personal space at home)
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
We are looking to move into our new home in late February or early March 2017 in the Inner West, lower North Shore or Eastern suburbs (we are not from Sydney, so we are not picky so long as it is close to the CBD!). We are interested in joining an existing share house/apartment or starting our own- send us a message if you are interested in either! David is a graduate accountant who will start working in the CBD in March 2017. Tegan is in her final year of law at university and works at the ATO. We currently live in a share house in the Inner West and come share house trained. We work late during the week so will largely keep to ourselves then, but are up for socialising on the weekend. Even on a weekend, we are still relatively quiet and low key, but are always up for a house dinner or a glass of wine. Our ideal housemates will also be young professionals who won't want to throw regular crazy parties and will generally be good housemates (the basics like paying bills on time, cleaning after yourself), as we will be. Send us a message if we sound like people you would like to live with!
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
I just moved to Sydney from Canada for a master's degree. Hoping to find a place as soon as possible. I'm available anytime to meet. I'm easygoing, sociable and respectful. Very clean and easy to get along with. Love dogs. Cheers!
Hi All, I’m a 26 yr old working professional female, recently relocated to Sydney for work. Having shared for the past few years, I’m seeking an easy going house where we might share dinner and stories over a glass of wine, though you could easily entice me out to a local restaurant. I'm an ex-gamer wth a hidden nerdy side. I work in the development industry with a architectural/engineering/legal background. Seeking a social (not party) house, where I can rest my head. Contact me if you are interested!
I'm friendly, reliable, and live pretty simply. I'm not a big party animal and don't make much noise, but I do love going to see live shows and movies.
Hi! I'm Rodrigo but you can call me Rod. I just finished my Bachelor of Architecture and I'm looking forward to spending a year on a Working Holiday Visa in Australia. I am working full time in the city and I dont tend to spend a huge amount of time at home as I train after work a few nights a week. When I am home I am happy to kick back and relax. I dont mind having a drink and a chat. I am very respectful of communal areas and like to keep everything clean and tidy. I like to stay active, I run and go to the gym and I also do Karate.
I am a young professional, looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay with some good people. I am an actor, i like to keep busy with work, and then love to wind down with some yoga, music, a movie session with an excessive amount of chocolate... Im good for a wine and a chat at the end of the week. Looking to move in as soon as the place is available :)
What makes me great to live with you ask?Firstly I'm clean!!! I take pride in a clean home. Proud to say I've never paid rent late. I'm incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. As cliched as that sounds, I mean that earnestly. I'm an actor by trade, also work in promotions/marketing. For the last 3 years I've taken responsibility for a household of 4 actors. But now this year the band has split and I must ride solo. Looking for a place within the next week.
I'm a 25 year old finishing off my second degree, looking for a home for my two cats and I somewhat close to the city. I'm pretty chilled and laid back, and tend to work late nights. I'm clean and considerate and quiet. I'm a bit of a bookworm and also fond of the odd night out. As I have two kitties, I would prefer somewhere pet friendly. They give great snuggles, I promise!
Hi there, I'm Camilo Diaz, I'm originally from Colombia but now living in Sydney. I'm currently studying English in Pyrmont Mon-Fri (9-3). I'm an architect with an interest in arts and music, I'm open minded but very responsible. I'm in my late twenties. I'm a reliable and person that respects everyone's space and like to keep everything clean. I have just arrived so I'm available to go and check out your place. Thanks. Camilo
Hey, I am a Canadian female living in Sydney while I study my masters at Western Sydney. I enjoy travel, hiking, reading, nature, netflix and listening to music. I'm friendly but respect privacy and am very clean.
Hi, I am Danny. I am 33 years old and single male. I am an accountant. I work full-time near the city. I am looking for an accommodation all for myself or TEAM-UP/SHARE near city. Any train station and a gym at a walking distance are a MUST. I have a notice period of 3 weeks at my current accommodation which I will execute once I have found somewhere to move into. :) I like cleanliness around the house. I am a very easy going person. I am usually on the go at the weekends which would include going to a pub/club/restaurant or a meetup, playing pool, staying out the whole night or just stay at home and read a book or watch YouTube videos or a movie or marathon of any sitcom with a pizza and beer or whatever the mood is... I go well with people from all backgrounds. I respect privacy but also like to have a good chat (who doesn't?) and keen on doing joint activities with my roommate(s) like barbecue, groceries, shopping, gym, movies, sports or whatever they like. I am always open to doing new things. I have a new found love in karaoke lol. Not sure how long it will last before I hop onto some other interesting activity. I am very punctual about paying my rent and would want a roommate (in case sharing the rent) who always pays the rent on time. I am not looking for just another human being living in the same house who I barely talk to, unless they have a touring job or something that keeps them out for productive reasons. I look forward do build friendship with the people I live with. I am a vegetarian (not a vegan). I cook (not bad actually), and I love to cook for others too as long as it does not involve meat. I make my own cheese. :) I have no problem whatsoever if you eat meats. I do have problem with the smell of some sea foods though, like dried prawns. I volunteer with a food charity. Food is my passion. IMPORTANT: I have a queen size bed, an entertainment unit, a buffet table, a coffee table, a six seat dining table without chairs (BYO chairs, LOL), a 3+2 (recliner) lounge, a 3 door (385 Ltr) fridge, a big ass 65" 4K TV, home theater and a microwave, all of which I am happy to share. I do not have a washing machine. Depending on the rent and space I am happy to move some of my non electronic gear to a storage. I have a large sedan so would need some sort of parking. I do not have any pets. I love dogs. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Danny
My name is Jivana, I am a student at Le Cordon bleu, ryde. I am a 20 year old who is clean, responsible, trustworthy and respectful. I am currently looking for a place to stay at for 6 months or more. I am available to move in on march but can arrange an earlier move in date. I would like to have an inspection of the place, please get in touch!
I'm a second year film and advertising student at UTS. I'm from the Blue Mountains and I'm looking for a place closer to uni. I'm a pretty chilled person, who's not overly into partying - but I do like a social drink or two. I love film, TV, books and photography.
Hi! I am a 23 year old full-time working female looking for a place to live in. I am a finance major, just moved back into the country after living in Boston for 4.5 years. Im super easy going, clean (but not anal), I love coffee, and going out for breakfast as well as working out, beaching it and watching tv and movies. Please let me know if you're interest :) Im looking to move in asap
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst. I used to work as a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments and a burning desire to perform again one day. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, a spot of toilet humour, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
Hi I'm Shannon. I have an engineering degree but changed to financial markets. I'm quiet and I enjoy bumping into flatmates at home but otherwise I keep to myself most of the time. I clean up after myself (especially in common areas). I'm trustworthy and never miss a bill. I like helping people, especially in areas I have experience in, such as: aerospace engineering, mathematics, algorithms, financial markets, derivatives pricing and trading, music history and theory, piano, strings and percussion.
I'm Lorena, 20 years old and looking for a nice, friendly and quiet place to stay in Sydney. I am a professional, female design engineer aged 42 and seeking a modern room with own bathroom. I am mature minded, humorous, warm hearted and respectful of others. I prefer to share with other mature-minded women, probably between 30 and 65 years old. I am English and am currently visiting Australia. I seek accommodation for the last 2 months of my trip and am flexible on location - any suburb within the region bounded by Strathfield in the east, the airport to the south and the north and west coasts. I would be very pleased to talk with you about sharing. Kind regards, Kellie
I'm Kate. Ideally would love to meet someone interested in starting up a new lease together in the inner-west or finding a house that needs a new resident. I've got no set date but need to find somewhere before June. I'm 22 and work full-time in the standard office 9-5 sense. I go to heaps of gigs, watch TV shows for days at a time until the episodes run out, drink coffee, bake cakes, try and make friends with cats on the street. I've lived in sharehouses for a few years now, so I know the deal. I clean up after myself and do housework, I'm pretty quiet and chilled, respect space etc. etc. all the things you'd want your housemate to do. Send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your setup/house-hunting goals!
I am an art teacher and art technician at a secondary school. I grew up on a vineyard in Orange and enjoy a glass of wine or beer after work. I keep am pretty busy with my job but I love coming home and having a chat with housemates. This being said I understand the need for personal space. I'm a keen potter and a member of a ceramics studio.
I'm a clean, tidy and chill guy to live with, keen to have a chat but mindful of personal space. I spend most of my free time on my computer either programming, doing uni work or playing games and so am quite unobtrusive, but love hanging out with mates. I'm studying engineering at Macquarie University, and working so I'm fairly busy most of the time.
Hey guys! We've just returned from a ski season in Canada & looking for a place to call home in Sydney. We are super friendly and laid back, enjoy socialising and a casual bevvie here and there. We both absolutely love the outdoors and being active. We're really tidy and have lived in sharehouses before and know the drill and will keep the place super clean. Keen to meet new friends!
I'm looking to find a like-minded person or group of people to move out with. Any area that is close to public transport so that I can catch the train into the city for uni every day is fine with me. I'm a really relaxed and down to earth person who loves to watch a good movie or read a good book. I'm also a massive animal lover and am planning to start a degree in nursing next year. Feel free to message me if you want to meet up or ask any questions.
20, studying Journalism at UTS and working part-time. Looking for accommodation close to campus with some friendly people. I enjoy socialising but also keep to myself when I have uni work to do. Love animals and music.
Ok so I'm getting ahead of myself here and putting my ad on two months ahead of when I want to move. I just want to put some feelers out and get an idea of what I want and hopefully get something figured out. I'm intending to start uni for mid-year intake so from July I'll be a full time student but also hoping to have a part time job. I'm not much of a party chick, although I do enjoy a good cider or three every so often. I like to think I'm fairly healthy, I enjoy working out so it'd be nice to be around like-minded people as it's always a good motivator. I am alright at cooking and can always chuck something together- but not desserts I'd rather buy them! I'm a qualified makeup artist and beauty therapist so I'm handy to have around to make you look good! At the same time my favourite outfit is my pj's. Pretty chilled out and enjoy life.
********** MOVE IN ASAP ********** Hi there, I'm Nimisha from the UK (born and raised). Currently, on a one-year working holiday visa in Australia. I enjoy networking and socializing. Hello! I'm moving to Sydney after a 5+ year stint in Belgium, where I finally learned to enjoy beer, and am looking for my new home. I do have a full-time job, so you'll have no issues with the bills. Living with me would include chats over tea, or stronger brews, an understanding of alone time, cleanliness, and invitations to the latest activity I'm doing (past examples include hiking, lindyhop, foreign films, picnics). I'm hoping to find people like me who are respectful, open-minded, friendly, and appreciate a social yet calm house.
I'm Sam, just turned 23! I work at trinity grammar school in Summer Hill as an aide teacher and in after school care. Im studying marketing by correspondence at the moment, about to start my second year. I love living in sydney, love the people and atmosphere! But it is about time I move out of home I enjoy netflix binge watching, painting, socialising (always includes wine and cheese) and somehow I squeeze studying into the mix :)
Hey future housemates! I'm a part time medical receptionist and part time student (Naturopathy), originally from Melbourne. I love yoga, cooking, nature, hanging out with friends and dogs. I have lots of share house experience and am clean, pay rent/bills on time and like to socialise but am respectful of down time and personal space. :)
My name is Maricel. I am 27 years old and an American moving to Sydney to pursue my Master of Occupational Therapy degree. Currently, I am a Case Manager for a non-profit mental health organization here in the San Francisco bay area and also part-time working as an Occupational Therapy Aide for a pediatric clinic serving children who live with autism. I love what I do and these positions have pointed me in the direction to achieve my Masters in Australia. When moving to Australia, I am looking to have a private space of my own to detox/download from the day. I anticipate being out of the house often for class and a potential part-time job. Additionally, I expect to be studying very often and will be keeping to myself to be productive. I'd like to think that I am a bubbly, spirited, and social person to anyone/everyone. I am respectful and responsible. I pride myself on practicing good communication skills and manners. When I'm out and about, you can find me exercising, hiking, being outdoors, and traveling to see new sights. Also, I love to dance! At home, I pretty much keep to myself but enjoy the company of others: small talk to insightful conversations. I enjoy reading, listening to music, engaging in relaxation strategies: yoga/meditation and Do-It-Yourself crafts/activities. I love animals, especially dogs! I have one here in America but will NOT be bringing my furry companion. The ideal space I am looking for is within proximity of University of Sydney, Cumberland / Lidcombe area but I am open to other regions. It would be great to have a separate entrance in the event of working/studying at odd hours. Currently looking for ensuite/private bathroom within a studio flat, granny flat, 2-room share, or 1 bedroom flat. I look forward to moving to Australia!
I'm currently living in the Sutherland Shire and am looking to move out with my partner. I work as a brand and events manager doing weekly events in the city. I grew up with a passion for creative outlets including music, arts and design. I used to be a graphic designer before I moved into the branding and events side of life.
I am a 22 year old male. I am about to begin a full-time job working in IT with a reliable income. I am easy to get along with as i enjoy socialising and meeting new people. I am looking for a room in redfern or along the train line.
Writer, dancer and traveller by heart, I am working full time in risk consulting industry which ensures I have green bills to pay up for stuff. An Aussie Permanent resident to add to credentials ( if only that helps you to make decision) Other than that, not a great cook, but would not let that bother you and if I eat what u make, trust me will learn and cook for u. Expect awesome music and Bollywood and salsa dance
I'm a creative arts student who loves to socialise but also enjoys my own space and company. I am clean and thoughtful and do not create much noise pollution in the home. I am busy most days of the week so I am not too intrusive in that sense. I am looking for $270 (must include all bills), at least one female in the place and private rooms ONLY. :) :) :)
Hi there, I’m a 19 year old student studying Entertainment Management full time. I work casually in a bar and I am also looking for more work. I love heading out to gigs, cooking and sharing meals and I am an animal lover so I’m totally cool if you have any four legged friends. I clean as I go, respect your personal space and possessions and value communication in a household. I am moving from my current house as I am looking for something a little cheaper. I'm only interested in private rooms (no sharing) at this stage. I look forward to maybe meeting you! Thanks, Laura
Hi, I’m Graham. Originally from Scotland, I've been in Australia for nearly nine years now and love it. I'm in my mid-30s, enjoy lots of yoga, cooking, the gym and getting outdoors – I like to keep healthy but not fanatical about it. Otherwise you will typically find me catching up with friends at a movie, the theatre or over a G&T. Currently I work full-time in retail and am a marketing professional by trade. I’m clean, tidy, considerate of others and always do my share of chores around the house. I enjoy a good conversation, whilst also being perceptive enough to know when a flatmate just wants their own space. I'm seeking similarly friendly and easy going guys or girls.
Im 22 and working full time at a landscape architecture firm. I'm always up for the occasional wine or beer but respect people's privacy and can enjoy my own time. Love to have a laugh and getting to know others! I'm looking to move sometime in February for at least a few months, so let me know if you have a vacancy!
Hi there! I am a 28 yr Singaporean old who works in healthcare, I do work on some weekends. I am usually fun to be around but tend to also like my own space after work at times. I do cook 2-3 times a week and I clean up after! Also have a 19 weeks old kitten who is friendly and litter box trained. Am looking for a room or someone to team up with. =)
Hey everyone, my name is Mitch and I am an easy going, respectful guy who has just completed a bachelor of Construction Management Degree at the University of Newcastle. I'm moving because I have acquired a full time graduate position which is commencing mid January 2017. I am a young professional who loves an active lifestyle but doesn’t mind the occasional binge Netflix session. I consider myself to be social and will always be up for outings but I am very respectful of personal space. I am a neat person that always cleans up after myself and is very handy with repairs, maintenance and the like. Due to the associated hours of my profession, I will more than likely be out of the house a fair bit and may head home some weekends. I hope to hear more from you all and cannot wait to meet my new roommate(s)!! Kind Regards, Mitch
Hi, I'm a 23 year-old actor who moved to Sydney around a year ago. I'm from Melbourne originally but lived the last few years in gorgeous Brisbane. I'm currently studying acting full-time and working in hospitality part-time. I'm the kind of housemate that is up for a chat and being social but also loves my privacy. I'm super respectful of other people and their property too. When I'm at home, you can find me generally either watching a movie, reading a script or enjoying a glass or two of wine!
