Moving to Sydney from Canberra, starting a new job at St. Leonards by September. I might look for something relatively permanent, but short-term stays are fine too. I'm looking to adopt a (relatively) minimalist lifestyle as I make the move so staying neat and clean should be with less effort. I can be relied on keeping the rest of the flat/house clean as well. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer meeting my friends outside rather than do house parties. In my spare time I usually try to be active - I'm looking into joining a badminton club and possibly have an indoor road cycling setup with Zwift (not brave enough to ride on Sydney's roads lol). I'm also keen to learn new sports/activities and join any after hours/weekend clubs. I also game on PC a little bit and a huge fan of the NBA. I'm still learning how to cook more food, but am keen to share whenever I make something nice. I'm pretty social and keen to meet new people, so I'd be down for a few drinks (in a relaxed environment) once in a while to unwind.
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney. The lease at my current place is about to finish up and I'm looking for a change of scenery! I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better!
Hi awesome people! Nathan here, I'm 30 years young and a full time working professional. I work in the lighting/energy efficiency industry and love what I do. I moved to Sydney 3 years back from Florida, yes that's correct, Florida baby! Fell in love with this city and decided I ain't going back. I'm into fitness (big time!), healthy lifestyle, love road trips, prefer to have a chilled time with friends rather than wild binge drinking sessions (don't mind once in a while ;)) and very easy going with any human being and animals (except crocs, nah we don't roll). Considering myself not to be a boy anymore, the cleanliness department is pretty much covered (you can breathe a sigh of relief now). Always up for a chat/drink with my flatmates, and absolutely dig some group cooking sessions. I will also share a plethora of stories about our beloved crocs, sink holes and storms in Florida! I'm looking for a home and not a house where I can connect and have awesome friendships with flatmates. If you prefer a super quiet flatmate aka stranger, then I'm not your guy sorry. Looking forward to finding the right one, I mean home haha! Cheers Nathan
Hi, I am Sachit, I currently work and live in Adelaide. I will be moving to Sydney mid November to work as a Civil & Structural Engineer at an engineering design firm called Arup. After work I enjoy playing soccer and usually try and get to the gym. I also play the violine (Although I might be a bit rusty as its been a while since I last played at a social event). Nothing beats a good Louis Theroux and/or David Attenborough documentary! Also a fan of The Office (uk), Peep Show and The Inbetweeners. I enjoy a few drinks on the weekend and look froward to exploring parts of Sydney and its surroundings. Should you have any questions shoot me a message! Hope to hear back regarding accommodation (The suburbs listed in the profile are just some of the places that seemed close to where I'd like to live but anywhere else within a 40min bus/train ride from the CBD would be fine!) Cheers, Sachit
Hi! My name's Sam, I work full time for a cruise line in Sydney. Really looking to move in with laid-back people who are respectful and tidy. I spend my time between the gym and relaxing at home with a book or watching Netflix. If you have any questions let me know!
Hi, my names Oliver and I am a young professional looking for a place to rent for around 6-9 months. I am originally from Canberra so it would be great to share with some friendly people who can show me a bit of Sydney! I am very easy going and friendly and have experience living in share houses. I work long hours so I am away for most of the day but I do enjoy the odd catch up with the people I'm sharing with.
Hi I'm Nick, I'm 24 and work full time in North Sydney. I'm currently living in Newtown/Marrickville and would like to find somewhere nearby. I've been at my current place for about 6 months and haven't had any issues paying rent or keeping the house clean. Looking for housemates that are more 'friends' than 'people that happen to live in a house together' (think 'family dinners', going out for drinks etc). I don't have any pets with me but if you do that would be a plus. I'm busy a few nights a week but don't mind having some time and space to myself and letting others have theirs. On the weekends I play sport, practice piano and go skating. Any other questions just let me know
Hey potential housemates ! We're Ryan and kelly, an Aussie & Dutch couple living and working full time in Sydney Kelly works in childcare and Ryan is an apprentice electrician working for the railways. We are a fun loving couple who both enjoy our quiet time and casual drinks on the weekends We're moving out of our terrace in Newtown and looking for a quiet more relaxed living arrangement where we can both focus more on our professional lives and settle into a place to make friends. We're looking around the inner west or any suburb close. Send us a message if you might have a place for us :)
I'm a rowing coach moving over from Perth to coach/repair boats until April 2018 or so (possibly longer). I have a couple of early morning starts but am very experienced at being a silent mover to get out of the door. Aside from that I'll be working throughout the day and some early evenings. I'm very relaxed and sociable so will be up for a chat if you want, but also know the value of personal space and can keep to myself. I'll pull my weight around the place and make sure that everyone continues to feel comfortable in their own home. I like exploring new places but also just as happy to sit with a coffee and take in the day. I'll be in Sydney from the start of September but will take a short trip back to Perth before looking to move around the 18th. More than happy to meet before then. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey hey, I’m on the hunt for a new home! I'm looking for a fun, social sharehouse somewhere in the Newtown/Marrickville area with people around my age (I’m 24). I'd like a place where everyone is mates and hangs out, but I can also respect other peoples space! I'm friendly, easy-going and social. I’m always up to hang out and chat, or have a few drinks/a night out/other fun adventures. I should probably also mention that I am fully domesticated and work full-time. I'm not wanting to pay more than $300 a week (bills included) and I am looking for somewhere I can stay long-term. I also have my own bedroom furniture that I will be bringing with me. I don’t really mind how many housemates I have, but I do have a preference for larger share houses. Let me know if you have anything!
I'm 31, full time working professional, and have house shared for many years. I am mature, easy going, and honest. I am respectful and will treat your home like it's my own. Happy to take turns cleaning regularly. I enjoy cooking, playing football, boxing, relaxing at the beach, Campos coffee, meditation and exploring this beautiful country. Weekdays are pretty low key between work and the gym. Over the weekends, I'm out and about during the day catching up with friends. I'm a homebody and prefer to relax at home in the evenings. I can sell my furniture if your apartment is furnished: bed, front loader washing machine, tv, entertainment unit, and kitchen equipment.
I'm a friendly, full-time employed queer femme who works 9-5 as a client manager for the public sector in Sydney's CBD. I also study molecular biology at Macquarie University so while I'm sociable I do need some down time and not a 24-7 party. I'm a qualified PT. I'm arty. I like to keep fit, cook something new (with great success!), check out cafes, restaurants and art exhibitions with friends, take photos or enjoy some couch time at home with housemates and pets if you have them -- and I'm a total sucker for Netflix nature docos for obvious reasons. I'm looking for a room WITH BUILT-IN WARDROBE in a vibrant, happy, smoke-free, drug-free home, preferably with queer/queer-friendly professionals. It's none of my business if you keep your bedroom in chaos, but having organised, cleanly shared spaces (particularly the kitchen and bathroom) is very important to me.
Hi, my name is Tiffany and I'm an occupational therapist working full-time, hoping to find a new place to call home. I'm very independent and mature, as I've lived out of home for 8 years now. I'm generally pretty busy with work, socialising, and exploring the outdoors. I'm sociable, love company, and really easy to get along with. However, I also love my quiet down time once in a while. I'm clean, tidy, respectful and cooperative, and have a good balance between social time and quiet time. I'm currently living in the inner-west and I'm hoping to stay in this area. Please don't hesitate to contact me :)
Hi, my younger brother, Lucas who is 19 and I currently live in Perth. We are relocating to Sydney on the 1st of September so we are unable to attend viewings until we arrive there. We are looking for two bedrooms, our own apartment or a shared room with our own beds. We would prefer a furnished room or house to rent. I work full-time as a nurse and Lucas works in retail. We are tidy, respectful and quiet. We understand personal space but always up for some banter. We enjoy going to the gym, cooking and catching up with friends. If you have any questions then please message me.
Easy Going, Laid back. Working professional. Will be working in Sydney during the weekdays and as required on weekends. I am studying for my final exams in my profession and will be doing shift work with nights. On my days off will be headed back to Wollongong. non smoker
French marine biology PhD student looking for a quiet place. Not here for partying and working full time at UTS.
A little about me: I'm nonbinary/pansexual and vegan. I'm currently studying a diploma of Fine art and hoping to do my bachelors once my degree is completed. I'm 19, but will be turning 20 on the 14th of this month. I'm originally from four hours north and moved to Sydney a year and a half ago for study and have been self supporting since. I am currently paying $250 a week in rent plus bills and have been doing so for the past year. I enjoy a good boogie and a drink but I'm generally pretty quiet in my own space and usually go out rather than have people over (and if I have people over it's almost always just one person). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of common areas and always pay bills on time. Always down for a chat but also respectful of people's space and need for quiet/alone time.
Friendly, Fun easy going person, can be quiet and keep to myself or happy to chat. Trustworthy and non judgemental. I'm in Sydney for medical treatment, but unfortunately I can't work and don't have much money. However, I am more than happy to help around the house. cooking, some cleaning, shopping. Whatever I can do to help. Looking to move any time in late August/September.
Felipe, 31, Male Full time Graphic Designer; Looking forward for a clean, and nice single place which I could call home. Easy going, clean & pet friendly. I am open to share/cook the occasional meal, have a conversation, or share a good beer once in a while. Feel free to send me a buzz anytime
Hi there, I'm currently looking for 1 private room in shared apartment since my contract in UTS housing ends soon. I'm currently a graduate, working full-time at Myer and looking for a house close to city/Bondi. I'm happy to move into a house with a room for myself as well and would love good company as well. I'm a chilled and relax guy who would normally workout and go for a run in the park - when free. Apart from that, I like to chill out with my flatties and watch series whenever we're all at home. Not to forget, love to have good banters, sneaky wine and beers and create good vibes. INTEREST: Football- watching EPL and UFC
