I'm looking for an unfurnished room (with own bathroom, or not shared with more than one person) in a very clean home close to public transport. I work full time on weekdays so they’re pretty low key for me. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak, so I like a clean and tidy place and would like to live with similar people. I really enjoy alone time, but always up for a chat with drinks. I do have a cavoodle puppy with me. He’s very cute and small. He's toilet trained and I intend to keep him indoors. He’d go to work with me during the day and would get shipped off to his other home on the weekends, so he’s basically only ever home when I am. Definitely interested in teaming up with other dog owners to find a pet friendly place and set up a new home.
Teacher, writer, philosopher, scholar and inspirational cartoonist. Quiet and grounded. Non smoker. Love animals and vegetarian :-) Am environment conscious and believe that people sharing a space should clean up after. Very light cooking. Cheers, SR
Hi! I'm Tania, 35, work full time in events (with the occasional travel during the year). I like chilling out at home during the week, and then most weekends are spent catching up with family or friends. I am a sociable housemate who is always up for a chat, but totally respect your privacy. Happy for a communal dinner or glass of wine. Most of my time is spent either at work (during the week, with the occasional weekend shift or travel), or catching up with family or friends. Would also like some more brunch recommendations.
Hi, I'm Xavier, I'm generally a quiet person, a bit of a nerd and usually keep to myself. I do a bit of cooking here and there but you'll otherwise barely notice I'm around. I'm a non-smoker, don't party and don't have any pets. In other words, an absolute riot!
Hey there, I'm Marc! 32-year-old Creative Director from Germany, living in Sydney for the past 4 years and now on the hunt for a new place to call home. I'm looking for a nice and clean private room with own bathroom. Ideally, a house that is a bit more social, as I'm basically starting my Sydney adventure from scratch again. I'd like to make some new meaningful connections and potentially find some new lifelong friends. Ideally looking to share a place with one more person, not a big fan of massive share houses. :) Bonus points if the place comes with air conditioning AND secure parking for my motorcycle. A bit about myself: i work fulltime in the CBD at a small boutique design agency so will be out of the house during the daytime. But always keen to get in a laugh and a beer after work or on the weekend. I love motorcycles and spend a lot of my time on the weekends exploring the beautiful NSW landside.
I am an Indian Software professional holding an Australian PR. I am relocating to Sydney some time in 3rd or 4th week of Sep 2018 and looking for a temporary accommodation for 2 or 3 months before finding a permanent place to bring my family later. I am clean, tidy, and fun loving individual. I am looking for a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (not to be shared) within walking distance to train station and less than 30 mins to CBD.
Hi, I'm a 26 years old and originally from Perth. After finishing law school, I moved over to Sydney in early 2017 where I started working as a Law Graduate at a private law firm. Now I'm seeking to transition into the public sector. I am a clean, considerate and friendly housemate, and looking to find someone similar. I like to live independently but always open for a chat once and a while.
Hiya! I'm a soon to be forensic science honours graduate looking for a place a bit further out of the city than where I currently live (Newtown). I'm an open, straightforward person, I am also generally quiet and keep to myself, but do not shy away from socialising. Keen to find a place which is more modern than where I currently live.
Theatre professional and freelance graphic designer from the Sunshine Coast/Brisbane, who has lived out of home since I was 22. Looking to relocate to Sydney in October after a 6 month national tour of a musical and looking for a place to call home. A little about me: I'm an avid tea drinker, music lover, theatre-goer, netflix binger, shower singer, yoga enthusiast, self-awarded masterchef winner 2016. My ideal house is queer friendly, progressive, tidy and inviting with a sense of home. A space I can contribute to and everyone is at ease...but most importantly a gas stove.
I'm a friendly working professional who is moving to Sydney on Tuesday Oct 2nd for a new job. I work in publishing so if you love books I can let you know about all the new releases. I spend most of my time reading (for work and fun) as well as catching up with friends. I have a small dog (seriously, he weighs 2.5 kilos) that goes everywhere with me and loves everyone he meets. I've rented for the last 5 years and love living with friendly people. I'm very considerate and tidy and always up for sharing meals and laughter.
We are all first/second year university students who are looking for a place with 3 bedrooms to move into as of December-January. We will all be studying full time, at UNSW, Macquarie, and USYD, as well as working. We are quiet, tidy, all non smokers, and we don't own any pets. Our max budget is $650 per week for all 3 bedrooms, and having the bills/internet included in the price would be really great! Please don't hesitate to contact me for any information, or if you would like to look at our social media accounts to check us out! :)
Hey! I'm originally from Perth and are currently working full time in the Sydney CBD as a Project Manager. I am super clean and tidy and I am looking for a share house preferably in Sydney's Inner West. I love going out/going to gigs, getting drinks and having fun. I previously lived in a share house in Glebe where roommates worked nights so I fully understand that aspect
*Pretty please do not contact me for a shared room. I’m looking for a private room only* Hello! My name is Anne. I am a (very) quiet and (very, very) clean 27 year old. I work full time as a graphic designer during the day and by night I do quite a bit of freelance and personal design and illustration work. I am also very sociable and try not to spend so much time at home. I am agreeable and open-minded and looking forward to meeting my future housemates!
I am a full-time student and part-time worker. I study 2 days a week at JMC Academy studying a bachelor of audio engineering and sound production (next to uts), I work (4 days a week) at maquarie university as a daytime security officer. I do not work on the weekends, I leave that time to study and relax. When I'm not at uni or work I am either studying, Boxing or mixing and mastering music! I love to watch Netflix and play PlayStation when I have time. I am a very quiet individual and have been in the houseshare game for about 8 months now. I'm looking for a like-minded quiet housemate who is communicative and friendly, although respects their own personal space and time alone as much as I do. I am looking for a possible long-term situation and would like to feel at home where ever I am living.
HELLO. My name is Caroline, born in Sydney, lived in UK for 6 years, recently back to Sydney and time to settle here a bit so looking to do that standard twenty-somethings' thing and live in the inner west ABOUT ME: - I'm studying for a shiatsu (massage)/yoga teacher qualification - *and this is probs my best selling point* i.e. I am studying massage and i need ppl to practice on :D - I'm working part time (10-3, Monday-Friday) for a startup based in Glebe - I also teach dance occasionally, but looking to do this more in the next 6 months - I am pretty chill, I do things like cook, meditate, read, browse the internet - I also like to talk shit and laugh and sometimes just lay in the sun and do nothing - I am in to joint shopping lists, if that is your thing - I am clean and tidy - I am looking for somewhere that is chill and feels somewhat like a home
Looking for somewhere to live for a few weeks (last week or so of september and first couple of weeks of october) in between having to move out of my current place and my new place being ready to move into.
Hi there :) My name is Rachel, I'm 24 years old and I currently live in Wollongong, NSW. I am looking for accommodation with three separate bedrooms for myself and two other young women. We are all professionals moving to Sydney in January to start working full time at Barangaroo. We are looking for accommodation located near, or within the CBD and would like to pay between $200 - $300 per week each. We are all easy going, tidy and down to earth people. As we will be working Monday to Friday, we will probably not be spending too much time at home during the week, however, we will be there on the weekends. Thank you for reading my listing!
Two Scottish lads looking to move into a share house or property of our own around middle of October. We are both pretty chill and work full time. Enjoy Tv, gaming and being social at the weekends. Looking for two separate rooms at a max $300 each.
I'm a pretty laid back guy. I have common sense and will respect your privacy etc. I like to keep the place clean but I'm not a clean freak; I would expect the same of anyone looking to share a place. I'm usually working but when I'm home I'm usually cooking or stuck in my room. Bonus points if you're looking for a gym nearby :)
Hey :) I'm 23, work full time Mon-Fri in Parramatta. I'm a sociable person, love meeting new people. I'm tidy, considerate, active, friendly, regularly out and about with friends, pretty chill. I like reading, cooking, music, tv, wine... the list could go on.
I am a 35 year-old professional female looking to either find a female flatmate to move into my existing apartment (as my flatmate is moving out) or find someone that I could team up with to find a new place. The lease on my current apartment comes to an end on 9 October 2018. I would consider myself an open-minded, considerate, , spiritual, inquisitive, and quirky individual that values my own space but also enjoys sharing a bottle of wine and meal with a flatmate and discuss random topics like reality TV shows and American politics. I am an economist by background, and recently returned from working in Asia for around 5 years. I spent the first 13 years of my life in Germany, then migrated to Australia, I would consider myself a global citizen (sorry, I know that's sounds wanky..but can't think of a better term). I love exposure to different culture, food and people. I am also very passionate about social issues. I work long hours at work, and bring sometimes work home, and therefore would like to live with someone that is a full-time student or full-time work that understands the importance of silence after 11pm on a work day. The most important thing for me is: 1) to live in a place that is close to public transport. I am open to consider places outside of the nominated places, provided its close to public transport. 2) I work in Martin Place and work late hours, so accessing public transport is important. 3) I like the idea of having my own bathroom, but am happy to consider a shared bathroom. 4) Live with someone that can avoid being a passive aggressive. You will always encounter some issues when you live with a person, and the best way to address them is to be open and honest and articulate expectations and concerns. I have quite a bit of my own furniture (really nice furniture...if i may say so), and am happy to bring it along to the new place or put it in storage. I have my own car, so would like to have a place to park the car. I am looking to move into an existing place, or find a suitable flatmate and look for a place together. I am looking for a long-term housing solution. So happy to consider anything above a 6 month period. Not sure whether the above is useful to give a picture what I am about. I feel there is only a limited value in writing a profile, and the rest is really about talking to a potential flatmate and seeing whether you connect.
