Hi, I'm Sam I work full time at the Sydney Opera House and study screen and sound production part time at UNSW so I keep myself busy. I'm looking for a home with late 20s - 30 somethings. I love going to gigs, reading and always have a new creative project up my sleeve. I'm searching for a neat (but not OCD neat) comfy, laid back home that socialises but where I can have down time in.
Im clean, respectful and social. Ive been living in share houses for 5 years + and have remained friends with all of my previous housemates. Im reliable with rent/bills. I like to live in a home and not just a room. I can cook and love to share a beer with my flatties but I also understand personal space and boundaries.
Hi I'm Dan, a teacher originally from the UK. I'm searching for a furnished room in a friendly, clean shared flat/house to move into in September. I'm sociable and it would be good to get to know new people :) I like to cook, go for walks, watch movies, swim, try to dance salsa, and am up for anything that will get me on the path to physical fitness. But also a bit of a foodie and like the occasional good wine or belgian beer. I've not surfed, dived, or climbed, all of which I'd like to try.
Hi everyone, my name is Luca. I'm in my mid 30's full time employed working in the inner city. I'm a very easy going type of guy who is very considerate and easy to get along with. Having lived in share house for a long time I appreciate the importance of being clean and tidy as well as respectful of other people space. I'm currently looking for a room in the Inner West. Feel free to get in contact If you think I could potentially be a good fit. Cheers, Luca :)
I'm looking for an amaaazing housemate I can share a home with! I'm in my early 30's, work at a bank and have house shared for many years. I am friendly, mature, and easy going. I am respectful and will treat your home like it's my own. I take pride in my home and happy to take turns cleaning regularly. I enjoy cooking, playing football, boxing, relaxing at the beach, Campos coffee, meditation and exploring this beautiful country. Weekdays are pretty low key between work and the gym. Over the weekends, I'm out and about during the day catching up with friends. I'm a homebody and prefer to relax at home in the evenings. I can sell my furniture if your apartment is furnished: front loader washing machine, tv, entertainment unit, and kitchen equipment.
I'm a 28yr old professional working in North Bondi as a graphic designer. I currently live in the city and ride to work. I've grown up living around the world but now call Sydney home. My girlfriend lives in the inner west so I'm keen to move closer to her. I like catching up with housemates for a drink in the evening but tend to need my own space from time to time. I enjoy reading, collecting way too many design books, Netflix, playing basketball and cycling.
Hello there: Perhaps, this is the first type of profile you may have come across on this site. Summary: I am an international student from North America AND also an expert backyard vegetable gardener. About me: I am a responsible and organize person, easy to get along with and good at keeping things neat and clean in and around the house. I don't smoke and I don't drink, studying is my goal. I am current upgrading my computer programming skills. My hobby and passion: I love vegetable gardening for the benefit of eating healthy organic vegetables all year round. As an expert vegetable gardener, I am willing to help the owner growing healthy vegetables in the backyard one day a week on weekend in exchange for free or minimal rent. I can grow many types of vegetables, including Tomatoes, Peppers, Beans, Peas, Zucchini, Lettuce, Herbs,... and so on. If interested, I can share more pictures of my backyard vegetable garden back home. I understand this is an extraordinary ad. but then again, if my vegetable growing green thumb skills can benefits someone in needs, why not I give it a try! :) Thanks and regards, Ivan
My name is Georgina but everyone calls me Gee. I am a Cardiac Technologist Queenslander working at Macquarie hospital varying between part time and full time hours. I love getting out into Sydney on the weekends and exploring events mainly to do with food. I am a huge AFL fan and play in the winter months, I also enjoy playing any other sport I can get involved with. Being a QLDer I am at home around the beach so love to get there as much as I can in the summer. I would love to live in a house where housemates are happy to cook for each other on the odd occasion (I can make a great roast), sit around with a glass of wine and laugh about their day. I do however, respect everyone's personal space and am not an avid party goer so can assure no raucous debauchery late at night (I am also a none drinker which makes me a great housemate to have around as that designated driver). I love animals so am happy to live with pets. I have always wanted a dog of my own so am happy to take your favourite pooch for a walk, bath or feed and live a vicarious step-owner lifestyle.
Relaxed, well-mannered, Considerate of others, quiet and tidy. Positive outlook on life, enjoys cooking and sharing a chat every now and then. Respects others privacy as I also need my privacy and like people who are respectful and well mannered!
Hi there, my name is Ash and I'm a 25 yr old professional who has just come back from traveling and now working full time in the city. Apart from travel, I am interested in woodworking, yoga and writing, and binging shows of dubious quality on Netflix. I am looking for somewhere relaxed as I am pretty busy during the week but would love to have some roommate/s to hang out with or catch up for a drink.
I like to keep the place neat and tidy. I work full time and study part time so I am out of the house a lot, but like to relax on the couch in the evenings and have a glass of wine on the weekends. If you have a pet cat, I am interested.
Hi, I'm Rhiannon. Currently looking for a room to rent around the inner-west or Parramatta area. 20 year old working in IT full-time, so I don't tend to be around the place a lot during the week. Tidy, quiet, and don't mind cooking shared meals for people when our schedules suit. Looking for a smaller household of 2-3 people preferably, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book (SciFi is my go to - i have Asimov books i have been lugging around with me for the last 20 odd years, to get rid of them would be tandamount to sacrilege) or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
Hi, I am Sachit, I currently work and live in Adelaide. I will be moving to Sydney mid November to work as a Civil & Structural Engineer at an engineering design firm called Arup. After work I enjoy playing soccer and usually try and get to the gym. I also play the violine (Although I might be a bit rusty as its been a while since I last played at a social event). Nothing beats a good Louis Theroux and/or David Attenborough documentary! Also a fan of The Office (uk), Peep Show and The Inbetweeners. I enjoy a few drinks on the weekend and look froward to exploring parts of Sydney and its surroundings. Should you have any questions shoot me a message! Hope to hear back regarding accommodation (The suburbs listed in the profile are just some of the places that seemed close to where I'd like to live but anywhere else within a 40min bus/train ride from the CBD would be fine!) Cheers, Sachit
It will be me and my two female staffies, who are like kids. Super beautiful natures and just awesome pooches. I have shortlisted some properties already that will suit the arrangement i am proposing. I do have two boys, only at certain intervals throughout the year though for short stays. Aside from that, I'm super busy with work, and then i teach and train BJJ flat out in my down time, so i will be out a lot. Looking for one flatmate to share the place, no gender or age is a problem to me. I am social but not a pryer and totally respect privacy.I'm happy to pay the lions share of the rent due to circumstances obviously, hit me up if you are keen please!
I've recently returned from 2 years in the UK and am looking for a place to settle for the medium to long term. I'm working in Pyrmont so somewhere near the tram line would really convenient. I'm an introvert and when I'm home I often like to keep to myself, but I'm likely to be out having dinner with a friend once a week or so as well. I have a 9 year old cat who can seem aloof and grumpy at first, but she soon warms up. I like crafts, growing vegies (when I have time and a suitable yard), singing and ice skating - a sport I picked up in the UK! I think I'm pretty easy to get along with and respectful of others' time and belongings. Prefer non-smoking housemates.
As a student studying education I'm ethically driven and provide great dinner time conversation value. I work in retail to subsidise my love for wine. I'm tidy and a generally good quality human being to live with! I also have a beautiful kitty named leia who gets along with everyone
I am a great cook (been cooking for myself since I was 7-8) so you'll have a good cook in the house :) I'm also tidy, social, easy to get along with and am not confrontational. This part is VERY important though; I am looking for somewhere that is ok with a baby in the house!!! I don't have a baby currently but am expecting, so I'm looking for somewhere preferably long term as I don't want to be moving around to much at the moment obviously. Also perfectly happy and comfortable with pets! Love all animals, especially dogs :-)
Hey, I am a 23 year old Master's student and moved to Sydney from Canberra earlier this year. I am very easy going, laid- back, love interacting with people from different cultures and I am always up for drinks and big nights in the city! Although now that I'm 23, getting absolutely hammered EVERY week doesn't seem that appealing any more. No pets or any concerning baggage apart from basics. I am obsessed with football and sport in general and I perform every now and then in community events (looking out for potential band mates). I love experimenting in the kitchen and enjoy cooking up meals for housemates! I have a stable job apart from my study commitments, so I am out most of the day. I'm sure I can adjust with almost anyone, so shoot me a message if you are looking for flatmates. Looking preferably at inner-west or inner-Sydney. Flexible move-in date. *Musician friendly and/or 420 friendly will be a bonus*
