Hello, future house mate! Looking for a home, not just a room to rent. I enjoy cooking, football, Campos coffee, and travelling to name a few. Hey! My name is Santi. I was born and bred in Sydney. I would like live in a place that is like a home more than a boarding house. That being said, I will keep the place nice and clean (with the help of my housemate(s)) and want to actually get along with my housemates. That being said, I'm fairly easy going and tend to get along with everyone. I work in insolvency which keeps me fairly busy during the week so I can be a bit of a ghost but I am always up for a chat or dinners on the weekend.
I'm a 25 year old male nurse with a job in Bronte -- I have my own care and am looking for somewhere to live ASAP. I do NOT own a dog as my photo suggests.
My name is Lucy, I'm a friendly and tidy flatmate. I'm currently working in Martin Place for a catering company and volunteering at Greenpeace on their Digital Engagement team. I just got back from a European tour and am residing in The Blue Mountains at the moment, I want to move to the inner-west because I want to live closer to where I work. Added to this I love the culture and friendly community the inner-west has to offer.
Looking for a furnished private room/place to move into ASAP for six months to infinity. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. LGTBQI friendly, animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station. Born in Australia but moved away and having been living abroad in Hong Kong and New Zealand up until 2015. I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Traits I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise and privacy and just being generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a penthouse apartment in a hotel, flatting with singles and couples (straight & gay) and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
I have got Permanent Right in Australia and determine to make immigration to this country from April, 2017. I am a geologist and my major is geotechnical engineering. When I was a student in the middle school and college, I lived in host families. Therefore I don’t have problems to stay together with other people. I am a non-smoker, and don’t have pets. Since I am an immigrant, I don’t have interesting to hold parties in the house. To find a job is my first priority in the current stage.
Hi I'm Karlos, a 30 year old kiwi professional working in the financial sector in the city. I enjoy the normal things, socialising with friends, eating out and getting a bit of exercise in. I work pretty standard 8 to 6 office hours. I'm not much into clubbing anymore but do enjoy a drink out every now and then at the pub. I'm a avid gym goer with my sessions normally in the morning. I enjoy getting out on out on the weekend whether it's catching up with friends, swimming, seeing family or just enjoying Sydney. I have a lovely beagle named Barkley. He's well behaved, loves some affection and his daily walks.
24 - Vietnamese. Clean, responsible, quiet and hard working cookery student. I work and study almost everyday from 10 till nighttime. Otherwise I will be only in my room watching movies or music. Not a party animal and rarely brings any friend home. I like pets but I don't own one. Rarely do any cooking at home so do not worry about dirty messes in kitchen.
Heya, I'm Stacey. Originally from the South Coast, currently studying a Masters degree at UTS in health. During the week I'm usually at uni or studying, and work on weekends. I enjoy relaxing at home with a good book, watching movies, socialising with friends and family, laughing and love desserts any time of the day. I am reliable and a clean freak, ideally looking for a home, not just a house (close to public transport would be fabulous).
I am a professional, female design engineer aged 42 and seeking a modern room preferably with own bathroom or one shared with another female. I am mature minded, humorous, warm hearted and respectful of others. I prefer to share with other mature-minded people, probably between 30 and 65 years old. I am a AAA rated engineer and take construction design contracts from agencies. Most of my work can be done on my own computer. I tend to rise at 7am, breakfast, make lunch sandwiches and then go to work. My workplace varies - sometimes a clients office, a library, a coffee shop or other social work space and sometimes from home. Contracts may be anywhere between a week and 2 years in length. I have confirmed work in Sydney until 8th May; thereafter my contracts may enable me to stay in Sydney or may require me to move. Its not predictable but I can say that my physical location does not matter for most of the work I do and that I shall endeavor to stay in Sydney. I am flexible on location - any suburb within the region roughly bounded by the north and east coasts of Sydney, Ashfield in the west and the airport in the south. I would be very pleased to talk with you about sharing. Kind regards, Kellie
Hi, I am Will. I'm currently looking to join a share house with like minded people in their 20's or 30's. I'm clean and tidy, i work full time and i'm very reliable you will have no problems when it comes to paying bills/rent. I'm a relaxed guy who is happy socializing or locking myself away watching a tv series. I'm into skateboarding, live music and having the occasional beer.
Hi there, I am looking for someone who would like to combine with me to share a lovely 4 bedroom house anywhere in the Inner West, allowing us each to have our own bedroom and our own work space. I am a hypnotherapist and tarot reader who has been running home practices since 2006. I’m looking for someone who would like to share a house where you could work from home, either as a therapist, practitioner, sole-trader or even student. Together, we could look for the right house that works for us both and move in somewhere over April or May. I was thinking of rent between $350-$450 each and of taking a 12 month lease. We would share the usual rental costs and living expenses and we could also unite on business costs if you're interested. This could suit any form of self-employed person who wants a combined home and work space. If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please send me a message. I’d love to chat! Thanks :-)
Hi all, I'm looking for a (long-term) room to rent in the Inner West! I can afford about $200 + bills. I like to keep things tidy and am always keen to pitch in with work. I'm laid back and sociable; always keen to crack a beer and chat, but also respectful of personal space. I work from home in web development. I cook (usually vegetarian, but anything goes). I like going to shows (love music) and watching campy horror movies. Thanks!
I'm in my final year of a nursing degree at Sydney Uni and I study full-time. I'm really passionate about what I'm learning and encountering in nursing and can't wait to join the field. I grew up on a property in Berry NSW so I know a bit about gardening and love animals. It's been a good day for me when I've enjoyed a coffee or beer with friends, listened to a riveting podcast or read for pleasure. I've lived the share house life for a few years now both in Canberra and Sydney so understand the importance of being a kind and considerate housemate who shares the various responsibilities of a household. At my current place the lease is ending and we are going our separate ways. My housemates are all 30+ years and despite our age gap we have lived harmoniously for 12 months :)
I am a very social person when it comes to majority of social interactions. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things as much as possible. I am currently enrolling to study Spanish. I am of Polish background but born in Australia. I have a very tidy state of mind which urges me to neaten things up which I would imagine is a perk. I have a stable job in Mascot as a BARISTA.
Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for housemates who LOVE DOGS. I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station or light rail station as I don't drive. Sorry, I am not looking to share with any smokers. I'm a 28 years young full-time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm a non-smoker and born in Sydney. I am honest, responsible and clean. I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy. I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to keep to myself as well. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as a good night's sleep is very important to me. During the working week, I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. On the weekends, I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook. I'm looking for flatmates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. He needs to have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm not home so he can go to the toilet outside and sleep inside. I have a removable doggy door panel which is simply a vertical panel of glass with a doggy door at the bottom which slots in next to a sliding door. He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone. Sorry, he is not cat friendly. He loves going for walks, playing ball and following me everywhere around the home. He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. He is very protective of me, and becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively. The only piece of 'furniture' I would be bringing to the communal part of the house is my 17 years young fish and his 90 litre fish tank. It would be ideal to have the tank in a communal area as he likes to watch people walk past and he swims after them. It would be fantastic to place the fish tank close to a sink for easier changing of water. My interests/hobbies include going to the gym, skateboarding, going to music concerts, taking my dog on mini outdoor adventures, watching movies, film photography, board games, and arts and crafts. I would organise my own food as I cook fresh meat and vegetables for my dog as well. I would most likely cook my week's worth of food on the weekend then freeze it so I don't have to cook during the working week.
I'm a friendly, quiet and easy going 24 year old male. I'm respectful of peoples privacy but also good for a chat and a few drinks. I spend most of my down time watching tv, reading, playing video games, and go out on weekends every now and then. I work full time.

Im open minded with all culture, religion, sexuality etc im very understanding and non judgmental. I love animals big and small happy to help out with pets. im very into art and music i love drawing and playing guitar.
Hi potential future flatmate! I'm a 25yo recently graduated psychologist working at Randwick who is looking for a place I can call home! I'm easy going, pretty laid back and love to meet new people. Trying new flavours of Messina is one of my favourite past times (ha), as is dancing and losing myself in a good book! I'm always up for a good chat but I also like having my own, quiet space to wind down, so I of course respect others' need for space. I'm looking to find a place that is ideally long term and to find flatmates I can hopefully come to call friends :)
Hi! I am considerate, clean, respectful and honest - looking for the same! I'm social and like to have a chat, but I also like my down time. During the week, I go out sometimes (going to gigs or hanging out with friends), but mostly it's pretty low key - going to the gym and then hanging out at home. I like to be out and about on the weekends.
Hi i'm Angus :). I'm a 26 year old Radiographer working in Newtown and am looking for other like minded young professional's to share with. I'm an easy going, social guy, who's always up for a chat, love to cook and will always contribute fairly to a household, in regards to cleaning and communal's. I work 5-6 days a week during business hours, and would be home most evenings, but like to get out of the house on the weekends. Looking for a new home to be apart of, keen to save on rent and make some new mates. Need a place ASAP! :) Cheers !
I work as a physiotherapist, I like to keep active, and I'm pretty easy going! Good for a quick chat or drink most times, but I'm definitely respectful of private space and since my hours can be erratic I'm definitely aware of that too! I like to keep a neat place and I love when a house feels like a home.
Hello potential flatmates, My name is Lucy. I'm a very keen traveller but when I'm back in Sydney I study Speech Pathology at USYD. I lived overseas in Italy for years and am looking to find a house with sociable, fun, respectful and tidy people. I'm very easy going, I love sport, eating and drinking, good music and great company.
Hi, My name is Lucas Forbes. Nice to meet you. I am a freelance tv producer, and about to start a new full time job as a Travel Sales Consultant. I'm 40 years old, but don't look or act a day over 35 :) I am not a partier, but am loads of fun. I love a good laugh and tend to get along with every one. I am quiet, clean and considerate. I am looking for a private room, not a share room. I would be looking at moving in about 1 week and would love to hear from you. Please feel free to email me. Kind Regards, Lucas
I'm 24 years old this year, originally from Macau and just finished a degree in Media at Macquarie. I've been living in Sydney for the past four years now, but try to travel as often as I can. I work shift work in hospitality between a restaurant job and a bar job, so that usually takes up most of my time from Wednesdays through to Sundays, depending of how busy the season is. On my day offs, I enjoy staying active by going to the beach and playing sports. I also enjoy staying home to cook and read. I am clean and respect other people's privacy and will be available to move in at the end of March.
I'm an outgoing and fun person to be around! I would enjoy living with others who are looking for a friend and housemate all rolled into one. I'm an old soul and get along with people of all ages. I'm originally from country NSW but have been living in Sydney for over a year. I study Entertainment Business Management full time at a creative college in the city and also work at a shoe shop. I'm neat and tidy and would enjoy living with others who are the same. Would happily like to get out and explore Sydney with potential housemates or enjoy a night in together but also respect the need for down time. Also, if you have pets or would be interested in getting a little fur baby that would be a plus!!
I'm a friendly Kiwi who plays guitar full time for the government (no joke!). I'm currently living in a one bedroom place in Marrickville and am looking to move back into the right share house. Dinner conversations are becoming a bit repetitive on my own.... I'm tidy, housetrained, love a glass of wine/beer with good conversation and enjoy cooking. When I'm not working I like going to the beach, gigs and discovering new pockets around Sydney to go bushwalking or general exploring.
Currently studying youth working at Ultimo TAFE and working as a retail assistant. I am a chilled person that enjoys watching Netflixs and socialising on the weekends. Will keep to myself at sometimes but I do enjoy having a good chat with people :)
I'm a easy-going, open-minded, almost 30. I consider myself pretty tidy, and happy to pitch in for joint things. Left-leaning, feminist, environmentally aware, trying to go zero-waste (although it's challenging!) and working full-time. Have worked in sustainability, queer expo and now in not-for-profit. My ideal house would.. -be close to public transport, especially train -be walking distance from supermarket -have an outdoor area (balcony/patio/yard) -have washing machine and dishwasher -be unfurnished -extra bonus if it comes with a doggo! Looking only for private rooms. Happy to provide more info! :)
Im a 28yo archaeologist from Brazil working in excavations around Parramatta area. As I'm new in Sydney, Im looking for a chilled out place where I can meet new people and also have my own privacy. Im working full time during the week, but would appreciate having a few beers over the weekend and also going out for good live music. Ive been long living in shared houses, so I understand the importance of being clean and tidy - no worries! hahaha As I believe that its hard to talk about oneself, it would be much better to talk in person to have a better idea of who I am. =)
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst, have just left my home of over two years in redfern. I'm a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, chats and hanging out with housemates, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. Need my alone time but would love to be able to spend time with housemates too. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
Hi! I am new to Sydney and am studying full time. I am looking for a place to live that is quiet, clean, and tidy. Happy to share chores. I don't mind having a chat/drink/bad TV binge, but I also respect personal space. Definitely not looking for a party house. On the weekends I like to go out and explore Sydney, go to cafes, and love bushwalking.
Currently looking for a few friendly people to share a home with. I work part time in the city, and am studying creative writing and get along with pretty much anyone who isn't racist/ sexist/ homophobic etc! I'm tidy and friendly, I enjoy some quiet time but won't object to sharing a beer or a wine together every so often. Send a message this way if anyone has a room available!

Hey I'm Helen, I'm a Fine Arts student and work part-time at a bar in the city. The share house I'm currently living in is being sold :( so I'm looking for a new place :) to move in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm reliable, clean, considerate and easygoing. I'm out a lot because of work and study, and like going out for drinks with friends when I'm free. I'd love to live somewhere friendly, easygoing and a bit grown up!
Hello, I am a new PhD student at University of Sydney. I'm 28 years old. I have received University of Sydney International Scholarship to study PhD in communication engineering. I've done the master degree in USA after receiving a scholarship too. With that said, I am a totally academic person. However, I like to watch movies, play video games, and do different kinds of sports. Originally, I am from middle east. I am looking for a shared place that is relatively not far from University of Sydney, nice, and relatively inexpensive. On weekends, I like to have fun and experience special activities of Sydney, such as surfing, in order to recover from the hard study.
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm 26 and work in the wonderful world of advertising. I'm a friendly, relaxed and tidy housemate with a good sense of humour. When I'm not working, I like to explore restaurants and bars with friends, try out new recipes at home, or get lost in a good book. Looking for housemates who are keen to catch up over a drink every now and then, but also respect the need for privacy. Look forward to meeting you! :)
Looking for a group of younger professionals wanting to move into a place together. We're after something in the inner-west but pretty flexible on location if we find the right property. Looking to spend about $300 per room of the house, but again flexible. Send us a message! We're both very easy going, love socialising, cooking, and are both tidy. Jordan works for NSW Health and I'm working as a graduate in finance.
I've been living in Sydney for 4 months, I'm working in the media industry on a work holiday visa. When i'm not at work I enjoy exercising (climbing, lifting, running, hiking), cooking, going to gigs, socialising with friends over beers, playing board games, checking out museums and galleries, and discovering new places around me.
Hi there , Im looking for a place , where I can call my home, I don't want only accomodation , I want a place where I can relax and chill out. Preferably max 4 people in the house , I don't mind sharing as long as people are clean and respectful. Im a sociable and outgoing person , clean and love sharing my free time with my flatmates. Please let me know if you have something that will suit my research ? Lots of thanks
Hey! I'm a 25 year old Early Childhood Teacher, working full-time Monday - Friday. On the weekends I enjoy relaxing with a book or tv show, seeing friends, having the odd night out, exploring or heading away to the South Coast to visit my family. My current friend and housemate is moving to Canada in April so I'm looking for a new place to live. I've lived in the Inner West since the end of 2014 and my current housemate and I have lived together in both Canberra and Sydney since 2012. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy my own down time, but am also more than happy to share a wine, dinner or movie and have a chat when it suits us. I'm looking for something for at least 2-3 months, but would prefer to stay for around a year or more if we are the right fit :)
Hi I am moving to Sydney for full time employment. I am a non-smoker, who is quiet but friendly. I am easy to get along with and enjoy a quiet beer on the weekends. I need to find accomodation "quickly" near the Ashfield.
Hi I'm Mariella! I grew up in the Inner West and would love to find a place to live in the area. I work full-time in education/health. I love to hang out with friends but also enjoy time to myself. I like to watch movies, binge on TV shows and exercise during my free time. I'm clean and tidy, and not much of a party animal.
Hi! I'm a full-time working professional in the city CBD. Looking for a place to call home. My hobbies are looking for new hobbies to be bad at. I am always in to share a drink and hang, but understand the idea of privacy. Hope to hear from you, J.
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
I'm 24 and I work full time; moving to Sydney in April for work for a minimum of 1.5 years. I'm a VERY tidy person, who wants to move in with like-minded people of a similar age. I currently run a warehouse shift in Melbourne, but will be moving to Head Office in Sydney for three six-month rotations for my graduate program. I will be working the usual 9-5 during my time in Sydney, and that means I'll be unwinding most weeknights. Love a night out and getting stupid on the weekends, but that's few and far between - I'm down for clubbing but prefer drinks at a bar or a chill night of BBQ and drinks at home. I'll always be down to socialise with roommates, but I do like my own time to myself too. I also have a miniature dachshund called Obie who's housetrained, but makes the odd mistake here and there. I will be trying my hardest to find accomodation to suit, but family are more than willing to take him in if I can't find a suitable home. I have all necessary furniture and can bring a 50" TV with a wii and an xbox to sweeten the deal.
Hey, I'm Marcel from Germany and I am going to study music at the conservatory in Sydney, starting the next semester. I've lived in a shared flat for over 4 years now and I like to meet and get to know new people. I like to cook, doing sports, to have a good conversation, to go out for a beer and so on. I am easy going and willing to meet nice people to spend my next year with :)
I'm from Portland, OR in the Northwestern US and am excited to be spending the year here in Australia. I have lived with roommates in the past and I'm good at keeping living spaces clean, I enjoy cooking at home more than eating out, and I have an easy-going, open-minded attitude. I enjoy keeping up with science and technology, watching live music, meeting new people and exploring new places.
