Hi! I'm Sofia, I'm from Scotland and beginning my PhD in Literary Studies (specifically Gothic and popular romance fiction) at Monash University in February 2026.

I am looking for a house share or 1 bed apartment from February, ideally looking to stay long term (1yr +). My budget is $500 pw including bills. I am a clean, tidy and respectful housemate with lots of experience in share houses back home in Scotland.

I like to live with people I can be friends with rather than just coexisting, but also respect privacy and alone time to recharge. I am social and like a party, but prefer to do this out of the house. I also love movie nights, reality dating shows, trying new restaurants, beach days and running (I ran my first marathon this year). And I've recently got back into baking (so lots of fresh baked sweet treats for you).

I am on a fully-funded scholarship for my PhD, so have a secure source of income as well as references from a previous rental in Australia when I was here on study abroad in 2024. Please shoot me a message with any questions or if you think I would be a good fit!
