Hello there!

I'm a Malaysian lady who's been living in Perth for the past 3 years, and I will be relocating to Melbourne in Feb 2026 for a job promotion within the same global company. My office will be located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, so I am looking for a place to stay that's near my office. Prior to Perth, I worked in Singapore for 10 years, of which I was also working for the same company.

I am a career-focused person and always been since young. I foresee I will be working longer-than-usual hours in the first few months of adjusting to my new role in Melbourne, so a safe, cosy and clean space is what I really need to retreat home to after a long day at work. I prefer living in a place where I can have my own space and keep things clean and tidy. Hygiene is important to me, and I enjoy a peaceful and organized environment.

While working full time keeps me busy, I always make time for good food. I love eating, and I have been told by many friends that Melbourne has an abundance of cafes and restaurants for me to explore on my off days.

* I am looking for somewhere relative short-term: While I relocate to Melbourne in 21 Feb, my Filipino husband will stay in Perth till the last week of Mar to finish up his work. At the moment, I am open for considerations to getting a place for BOTH me and my husband, or a place for myself for 1.5 months, and then finding a bigger space. I am / we are open to ideas.
