I am a 25 years old belgian travelling with two of his best friends. We are just graduated from different universities in Brussels and we are here to improve our english, learn another culture and discover a new lifestyle. After a week living in the center of Melbourne, we feel like we need to discover new people and share our stories while we live our australian journey. We are clean, funny and very respectful. :)
Hey! I'm Liz, a 23-year-old travelling teacher from Canada. I've been living in Melbourne since July, working as a teacher! I'm looking to rent one private bedroom in a place close to/in the CBD. I'm looking to move from my place in Brunswick West sometime around December or January - dates are flexy! I work full time during the week so I'm only around evenings and weekends. I'm social and love to be around other people! I'm always down to go for a drink or a hike, but also enjoy time by myself to chill out after a long day. I like to cook and bake as well!
Hey Everyone! I'm a Peruvian living in Melbourne for the past 3 months, I work in more than 2 jobs so I am not usually home but love to spend some time with my flatmates whenever I can. I'm currently searching for a private room somewhere relatively near southern cross as one of my jobs is in the Airport. I love animals so wouldn't be a problem living with them, I'm vegetarian but not extremist so I can live with people eating meat. I enjoy chilled outgoing people living with me, although I'm not used to doing parties at mine, I wouldn't have a problem if the rest do them tho. I would say I'm quite relaxed in most of things but I think myself to be a considerate person who would keep common places clean
Enrolling into B.Com at University of Melbourne in Feb 2020 and would be turning 19 by the time I move in. My mother tongue is English, and also able to speak fluent Chinese, Malay and Foochow. Personal wise - I am level-headed and very friendly. Would love to meet like-minded friends from staying at your place. and possibly travel around together if you guys are keen to explore AUS together. I prefer considerate house/roommates who respect personal space as much as I do. During the length of stay with you, I would be out at least 10 hours a day - either in class or working part time or sitting at the cafe, so you'd have the room to yourself most of the time! Side note: I do not drink nor smoke. But I'd be cooking (more like microwaving tbh) Professional wise - I've always been highly ambitious and career-oriented. Over the last three years, I secured multiple internships with corporates including KPMG. Currently, I am on a four month contract role at Axiata (an ASEAN conglomerate) as a junior finance analyst till January 2020. In Melbourne, I would be looking for a similar finance related part-time job or within the fields I am certified in - digital marketing and RPA. Excited to stay with clean and self-organized roommates and possibly travel together in the near future if we are click! If I am who you are looking for, let's connect!
I am a Brazilian who recently moved to Melbourne from London for a 5-month project with my current employer, a strategy consulting firm. I am pretty easy-going and am always up for a nice conversation and a quick drink.
I have just moved to Australia after travelling for 4 years I was working as a yacht chef for 3 years after a years solo travel and volunteering. I have lived in 6 countries and am looking to make Australia my forever home. I am from the UK and had a successful career in recruitment for 3 years when I lived there I am looking to get back into that line of work and get sponsored for permanent residency while I am here so the contract could end up being for over a year if we are all getting along. I don't mind if the room is furnished or unfurnished as I am happy to buy my own things. I am looking for a stylish pad with a well equipped kitchen or at least a place where I could prepare amazing food for me and my flatmates. I eat anything healthy but try and keep meat consumption in the home to a minimum but am more than happy to cook as a treat now and again. I love house plants and animals and a quirky contemporary place. I am very easy going I enjoy walking, yoga, I can sleep through an earthquake but I usually go to bed between 10 and 11 and wake up early. I love to chat and tell stories of my mad adventure but I also respect peoples personal space and need my own from time to time. I don't know anyone here so looking to also make friends and get involved in cool projects. I care about the environment so looking to share with people with similar values. I don't mind how old you are or what gender I love people from all walks of life.
Hi my name's Reymarie but I like to be called Aryl. I'm on a working holiday visa from the UK! Currently still looking for work right now. Looking for a private bedroom in a shared house. I'm a considerate and a tidy flatmate, like to social but more of an introvert. I like to just chill and watch loads of movies and dramas.
Hello, I'm French, I'm from Paris, come just yesterday to melbourne. I'm looking for a rather quiet apartment and only with foreigners (no French), and if as possible no smoker. I work in hospitality. I wish an apartment for 3 months minimum. I am tidy person and respectful. Available for the 20th November please.
Hi, my name is Abbey and I'm from a small country town near Geelong! I'm interested in finding long term accomodation in Melbourne as I have confirmed full time work there commencing on the 8th of January of 2020! I believe I'd make a great flat mate and/or room mate as I've almost always shared small spaces with my sisters and I've learnt to be respectful of others through this. I'd describe myself as sociable, funny and pretty easy-going, however I'm neat and aware of the needs of others. In the house I'm more than capable of adapting to current routines set by housemates or create new ones in a new setting! My job will be pretty standard as a 9-5, Monday - Friday job, so I'd be gone somewhat early and only back in the evening on those days :) I'm pretty open with what I do in my spare time, usually I'm reading, writing, walking about or on the weekends I'm having a fun night at home with my friends and family, having a glass or two to drink after having made a large dinner for everyone to enjoy and talk about their weeks over. (My speciality is a spicy Korean fried chicken recipe with marinated cucumbers and soybean covered green peppers) Please do contact me if you believe you'd be able to offer (preferably) long-term stay! I'm more than happy to discuss arrangements and concerns you may have :)
