I am 24-year old Filipino international student, taking up master's degree in BA. I am very enthusiastic and easy going. I like meeting new people or making friends and spreading good vibes around 😊 I also love to travel, my travel life has been interesting so far. I like talking and sharing stories, trust me you can talk to me pretty much about everything as I am very open-minded, I'll always have interesting and never ending stories to talk to so pretty much you won't get bored having me around 😊 😊
Hi there, I'm a 30 year old professional working weekdays 9-6 in the city. I lived overseas/interstate for the last decade and have just moved to Melbourne. Most evenings and weekends I am usually out rock climbing or hiking. I love travel, outdoor adventures, live gigs and movies! I'm always on the go and my work also requires some interstate travel so you may not see much of me at home. But when I do get some downtime I'm always happy to have a meal or drink with my housemates, or just hang out at home with a good movie marathon. Housekeeping wise - not overly OCD, I usually just clean up as I go. Non-smoker and not into wild parties. Preferably housemates who are similar in these respects and appreciate a quiet and peaceful home to return to. Love animals too and certainly won't mind if you have a cat or dog .... as long as they love cuddles and don't chew on my shoes!
hey i'm Richie, 26 year old male looking for a place to live in the CBD. born and raised here in Melbourne, VIC i'm working part time in Southbank and Port Melbourne with my two jobs (plus more !) so it would be of great service and convenience for me to live closer to work. i'm in a handful of industries like Gaming, Finance, Marketing, etc so i've dipped my thumb in a lot of pies. life outside of the professional world, i'm just a fat foodie at heart - i like to eat out but can also cook if i set my mind to it. i don't drink very often but i can hold my liquor if we're up for a night out; that said i have a sporadic schedule so my free time may not always be consistent - but even i like to have fun sometimes. if it's worth mentioning, i binge watch YouTube and Anime, but open for any TV Shows; and i play on my PC and PS4 on occasion to pass the time. at home i can be the most loyal friend you can have, but otherwise i will respect the house rules if any. i have my private times and i have moments where i can appreciate a quiet day or two. i'm not here to impress anyone, i'm just gonna be me myself and i - if we share the same sentiments, then that would be awesome ! my duration of stay can be flexible, but i'm seeking long term since i don't plan on quitting my job/s anytime soon. i like pets of all kinds and i don't mind people that smoke, i'm a pretty easy going guy really.
Hey! I'm Yasmjne but everyone calls me Yas, unless I've done something terribly wrong. I'm currently working part time until I can start studying again next year. I find myself to not only be more of the silent type when pottering around but be more of a person to not be seen much but I will do a lot of cleaning normally and some cooking; so in that regard you'll see a lot of me, otherwise you won't see much of me. I like to believe (and from others) that I'm a nice down to earth person. Working part time as a bartender and nanny my hours are insane, hence my silence and not being around often, but according to those whom I have lived with previously, they don't even hear me come in in the mornings. I like dogs (I have a puppa myself who lives elsewhere but I constantly vist), books, cartoons / anime, travel and cups of tea. I'm not sure what else to say, besides I do talk a lot when you do catch me and I'm a fairly open book. Some of this stuff is super corny and cheesy, but I guess that's just who I am :) On a side note I'd trade a puppy for a kid any day, I love kids, that's why I nanny, but I'm more fond of puppies. So if you have a dog that's an extra bonus, I'll love it like there's no tomorrow. My ex's cat tried to kill me 3 times in one night, so, cats aren't my thing but I'll try love your cat if you have one.
I am international scholarship student with wife and one little kid (1.5 year old at the time of moving) from Cambodia (country in southeast Asia). I will move to Australia in early January. Firstly, I will arrive Australia alone and will bring my wife and kid very soon after I settle down in my study . I am looking for a place that could accept family with small kid. I am easy going and open but I am not talkative and mostly focus on study. I will be looking for part time job there and my wife will also looking fulltime job during the stay. My family are looking to build good relationship with flat mate and we are happy to share duties and responsibility in the house.
Hi there, I'm a working professional seeking to move to Melbourne CBD in the coming new year. I currently work at Docklands and would love to team up with anyone that would be able to commit to one year rental property/apartment in the city. I'm pretty laid back, work full time in IT. I prefer to live with someone that's easy going and obviously clean and tidy. Hygiene is important. Let me know if your interested and we can catch up for a coffee to discuss further. If you have a room available in the city that would be ideal however I'm not to fuss if your interested in teaming up either. Best wishes
I'm fun and bubbly and very easy to get along with. I love socialising and going out but also like staying at home some times, eating chocolate and watching Netflix. Also I am a pretty clean person, tidy up after myself and I love to cook :) i'm looking to live with someone who is easy going and wouldn't mind having a chat over dinner. I'm hoping to be good friends with my housemate. I also want someone who likes to go out and doesn't mind if some friends come over for some drinks on the weekend.
Looking for a clean, reliable and friendly housemate. I work as an educator at different schools. I enjoy cooking and having a drink with my flatmates sometimes but also like my space. I love to baking. I'm pretty easy-going, very dependable, value privacy and a quiet setting. Let me know if you have any questions!
About to start a full time job with Dep of Immigration in the docklands! Lived out of home for many years and lived overseas - very domesticated.. Love a good Netflix session and listening to the Js while making dinner, enjoy bulk cooking. Usually try to get to the gym in the morning and mandatory Friday knock off drinks! Keen to enjoy everything melbs has to offer especially plenty of gigs!
Hi, my name is Kayne. I'm 25 and I'm from Sunbury in Victoria. I decided two months ago that it was time to leave the family home and become more independent. I'd love to create a new share house so that we can create a truly shared, safe space - being from a large family, I'm definitely looking forward to a bit of a more calmer, mature atmosphere (of course, except on weekends entertaining/having fun). I graduated from Swinburne, Hawthorn Campus in 2014 and have since worked full time in IT in Southbank near the CBD; my ideal flat is somewhere close by to really cut down on that travel time. I'm an avid video gamer and reader since forever (mostly Fantasy/Sci-Fi); of course, that means my consoles + TV/some of my books would be coming with me (I have too many books, so some will be going into storage!). I'm an animal lover - I've always lived with both dogs/cats plus birds, fish and even a turtle at one stage. Unfortunately, my pet cat Cola of 10+ years (see my FB page) is a family pet and won't be coming with me. If there is anything else you'd like to know about me, send me a message and I'd love to have a conversation. Thanks for reading!
Not after a shared accommodation,I'm looking for a lease break. Not sure if I'm in a right place to look for it but I wonder if someone is going to move out and look for someone to take over? Sick of dealing with unreliable real estate agents :(
Working holiday visa holder from LA. Work in hospitality and advertising. I'm a quiet, super tidy, and respectable roomie, though I do like to socialize over a beer or community meal now and again. Looking for the same in flatmates. As for my interests, I enjoy travel, hiking, photography, sports, film, music, craft beer, wine, food, dessert, exercise, and discovering the best in every city I step foot in. I also enjoy people reading my messages and ignoring them, with the occasional sarcasm. Will Ferrell is my spirit animal.
Hi, I am an Australian citizen currently working part-time for a Media company in the city and some clients on the weekends. I previously served with the Australian Army and went on operations to East Timor. I study Marketing and International Relations at Monash University as well as languages and I am in my last year. I am a sociable person however, I do enjoy my privacy. I enjoy keeping fit, eating healthy and traveling. Always happy to meet people from different cultures and countries. I am very clean and tidy however not pedantic. Feel free to message me for more info. Warm Regards, Eddie
Hi! My name is Scarlett, 26 years, half German and half American, just finished my Master's degree in Business Development and am here on a working holiday visa. I found a full-time job in an Italian cafe here in Melbourne and am planning on staying until Nov 22/23. I am currently in a hostel and would just like to save some money and have a nicer place while I am here. My room there is booked until Oct 31 which is why I am looking for something asap. I am a talkative and fun yet responsible person, always down for a little chat or game. I have a lot of experience when it comes to living with other people (from all over the world), so certain standards of hygiene and privacy will of course be upheld. ;-) I am not a party girl, especially now that I am working full time. Message me for more information :) Regards, Scarlett
Backpacker from Canada, on my second visa. Working in south wharf most days, when I have the day off I enjoy cool lil venues with craft beers and snacks. I consider myself to be quite respectful & honest with whoever I live with. I look forward to hearing from some f you!

Hi, I'm Justine. I am a 28 year old Perth girl and I've been living and working in Melbourne for 5 months. I'm a long haul flight attendant so my lifestyle is a tad different to the usual 9-5er. When i am home I love a home cooked meal and enjoy a casual drink or two (or three). I am a non-smoker and have lived in a few share houses so I appreciate keeping things clean and tidy for others. I would like to live in a social and relaxed home but one that also respects each others privacy and space. It would be nice to live with like-minded people :)
Hey :) 25 YO; GERMAN; TIDY; FUNNY; EXCHANGE STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY My name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
I'm from China. Currently dong my master's degree at Melb Uni. I'm a very outgoing person, always love a conversation. I love cooking and watching movies. I'm an outdoor activity person. Would be great if you are too. Oh, and by the way, I'm clean and tidy person, so you don't have to worry about tidiness problems.
Hey, My name is Kirsty and I have just moved to Melbourne from Scotland with my boyfriend! :) We are currently looking to share or rent a small space for the next couple of months until we get on our feet! We are really laid back and very sociable! :)
I am a fun but sensible guy in Australia for a year, looking for a room in a place I can call home for the next 3 months. I am very tidy and considerate of the property and other housemates, but also social and like to chat watching tv in the evenings. I like to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink but would not abuse this at the property. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student from Singapore who will be studying in University Of Melbourne. I'm a 20 year old Chinese guy, fluent in both English and Mandarin. I like music, night life, outdoor activities, almost all kinds of sports, and visit the gym regularly (literally just everything that a "teenager" loves). I'm usually very quiet, but talkative with people i'm close with. My goal is to get really good results in University, while at the same time thoroughly enjoying this overseas studying experience. I'd love to make new friends and learn about cultures different from mine. Hope to have a pleasant experience with you!
Hey there, my name is Jahla. I'm in the hope of finding a stable and affordable home to share with someone who is reliable, I am NOT looking for a share room. I'd probably describe myself as pretty chilled, respectful, easy going, positive, fun and social person. I am super clean, so i try to keep the mess to a minimum. I have my own car and license which provides independence.. I'd preferably would like to share with another female, but at the end of the day as long as we can live together comfortably and happily that's all that matters. Regardless of my age I am very independent and mature and able to cater to my own needs. I work full time in Docklands so ill be out from Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. If you'd like to know more about me, or ask any questions feel free to message me. Look forward to meeting my future flat mate :)
Moving to Melbourne from Sydney as I am starting a new full time role for a large corporate firm in Docklands. I am really easy going, friendly, love to cook and clean and love a tidy home. Pet friendly, enjoy keeping fit and active, enjoy company of others, can be social as well as enjoy my nights in also.
I'm 27 years old, living in Perth but moving to Melbourne likely in the next month. I'm excited for a change of scene, to spend some time in Melbourne city, and to meet new people. I work in the mental health field and usually keep myself fairly busy. I'm interested in keeping fit, healthy eating, reading, Netflix, and like to go out for dinner, drinks and movies/theatre. I'm clean (but not obsessive), tidy, and think it is important to have respect for one's home and shared belongings. I think it's important to be friends with your housemate(s) and to be able to communicate about house matters, but also have respect for one another's space. I've lived in shared homes before and generally find this an enjoyable living situation.
Hi!! Im Denise From Argentina. I study Personal Trainer in Melbourne University Campus. Im very easy going girl - tidy and responsible with the rent. Im vegetarian and I eat very healthy and I like training a lot! Im interested in rent my own room and I need a car park space. Please contact with for any questions! Thank you!!
I'm quiet around the house and live a normal 9-5 working life at a major bank. I don't like to party or even drink alcohol/smoke and enjoy the peace and quiet(I've been told I don't snore so I would be a good person to share a room with!), but I'm always up for a friendly nice chat about anything (particularly about anything to do investments and building wealth)or get togethers. I like to have a simple minimalist lifestyle approach so I consider myself quite clean and orderly. I've had experience living overseas and have used Airbnb as well so I'm quite comfortable and easy-going with other people from all backgrounds. Keen to share a place with like-minded people and maybe learn a thing or two from each other.

Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)

Hi! My name is Tessa, recently moved to Melbourne from Canada. I am 28, and have a full time, sponsored job in Recruitment in the CBD. I'm really excited to be moving to the city and hopeful that my new roommates will like to do some hikes, explore the markets and hang out over some drinks. I'm very tidy and respectful. Given that I work Monday to Friday I am pretty low key throughout the week focusing on fitness etc and over the weekends enjoy some travelling and socializing over some drinks. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm a clean, friendly, open, fun-loving guy from Manchester, England. Here on my working holiday visa and looking forward to spending the summer in Melbourne. Currently staying in a hostel in St Kilda but looking to move into a flat closer to the CBD. Got myself a job in Emporium shopping centre, so need to be within walking distance of there (under 45 mins), and close to transport links. Would love my own room but other than that, not fussy at all! Vegetarian, but more than happy to live with meat-eaters. Non-smoker. Very tidy & contentious.
Hey, My name is Anneliese and I am fairly new to Melbourne. I made the move from a small semi rural town in NSW (close to Wollongong) about two months ago. I'm currently living with some friends, but it's only a two bedroom apartment, so now it's time to find a place of my own. A little bit about myself. I'm a charismatic, sports enthusiast, cooking fanatic, friendly, and very easy going female. I love to cook and am always getting very creative in the kitchen. I work full time, so on my days off I am out and about, but sometimes you can also find me reading a book and just chilling out. I love to have a laugh and meeting new people. I have also flat shared with 9 other people when I was living overseas in Norway for one year, so I am very well experienced in pulling my weight around the house. I am neat and very domesticated. :) I'm looking to stay for a minimum of 6 months. :)
Hi! I'm an 18 (turning 19) yrs old female from Sweden moving to the land down under at a working holiday visa where I intend to work, travel and meet new people! Hi, We are Simon and Tilley (25 and 22yo). We're friends from the country, but we both work/live in the city. I (Simon) am a hospo worker, and Tilley a bicycle mechanic/sales person. We're both part time students (midwifery and aviation). We are looking for 2 rooms, at a max rent of $350 total, ideally with 2 car spaces, or at least space for the bikes in a garage/shed. As long as there is PTV nearby, we're good. Tilley's work hours are pretty normal, but I'm typically home around midnight.
We are the perfect couple, very relaxed and easy going. We are from Venezuela, South America (we have the latin flavor, trust us). We love cooking (we haven't had a proper Aussie BBQ yet), drink some beverage (tea, coffee, wine, beer or rum), have conversations, watch Netflix and share stories from time to time. We are very, very clean and we would like the soon-to-be our roommate exactly the same. Cheers!
Hi! I'm Harly, Filipino, 26, Male. I'm working part-time as a consultant/sales representative and studying Bachelors of Nursing too. As much as possible, I'm looking for a shared house where I can have a private room (or a shared room would be fine too). I am currently stable with my finances as I work at a big telco company. I joke around but can be professional and formal at times too. I respect opinions and privacy of others. I am busy most of the time as I have full on schedule 24/7. I am responsible and I like to be in a clean place. I also cook. I want to have complete kitchen facilities and a gym too. A swimming pool would be a bonus. But the important thing is for me to have a fun and respectful place to stay in the city with a comfortable accommodation. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price if the place is good. I'm wanting to move in around late December to early January. Cheers!
