Hi! I’m a 32-year-old anthropologist and final-year PhD student at UQ, currently in the writing-up phase, so I’m looking for a calm, comfortable place to call home while I finish my thesis. I split my time between studying and working at uni, and enjoying Brisbane life outside the laptop.

I grew up in Queensland and have returned to Brisbane after living in the Northern Territory for work. In my spare time, I love hiking, going to the cinema, and doing crafts and painting. I’m not a big party person, but I do enjoy being social in a relaxed way --going out for dinner, catching up with friends on the weekend, and having a chat at home. I really value a house that balances being friendly and social with respecting each other’s space and downtime.

I’m very clean, organised, and respectful of shared areas, and I like living in a home that feels leafy, comfy, and genuinely lived in. I also have a quiet, shy cat who mostly enjoys sunbaking, napping, and the occasional cuddle once she’s comfortable --she’s low-maintenance and very chill.

I’m looking for a relaxed, tidy household with like-minded people who are easygoing, considerate, and enjoy good conversation, good food, and a peaceful home environment. Ideally, it’s a place where everyone feels comfortable doing their own thing but is also up for the occasional shared meal or catch-up.
