Saën

Howdy hey! I’m Saën (pronounced Sah-yen), a kind and creative, Belgian-born Aussie and I’m looking for a place to call home for around 6–12 months (flexible on this). I’ve lived in Brisbane since 2019 and will be returning from a six-month stint in Berlin around the 19th of January.

I’m neat, considerate, and friendly. I work primarily as a freelance photographer, though I’ll be easing back into Brisbane life by working full time at my old restaurant job in Paddington for a few months(Tuesday–Saturday). Side effect: occasional free food.

Outside of work I’m usually out of the house: bike rides with friends, shows, museums, beach days, the usual. That said, I do value a solid at-home reset after a big work week.

At home I’m generally quiet, often working on my freelance projects with headphones on, but I’m approachable and always happy to chat when paths cross. Also keen to hang out and play boardgames or have dinner with my housemates if we're all up for it! I don’t smoke and I’m more of a “go out for a drink” person than a “host a party” person.
