I'm pretty easy to live with, I just like a clean space and that's all I ask for. Through the week I'm always at work, uni or the gym and most weekends I go to a gig, festival, or valley with my mates so I'll be out of your hair a lot of the time. If you're into that sort of stuff I'm easy if you ever want friends over for drinks etc. I love animals so if you have pets that won't be a problem. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
I'm an easy going person, I enjoy some personal space when I get home but am friendly and love a good chat or laugh. Im not a party animal so would like to live with like minded people. I'm very respectful, pay my bills on time and enjoy relaxing or seeing friends on my time off. I work full time And long hours Including Saturday’s but have Wednesdays and Sundays off. I do have an indoors cat who is the sweetest thing and loves a cuddle and pat. He's completely house trained and will be my responsibility. He’s been around other cats before and isn’t aggressive but a bit shy. My work is moving to Albion so I’m looking for somewhere close to there. Let me know if you would like to know more 😊
Hi I'm Jess a 27-year-old Aussie looking to relocate to Brisbane from Cairns with my fur child Biscuit (a 6-month-old Jack Russell x red heeler who loves cuddles, fetch and walkies). I am coming down to a full-time job and once I am set up am also going to start studying full-time. I like to keep active playing sport, hiking and going to the gym (recommendations of gyms with great group fitness classes would be much appreciated too). This means I'm not really one for being at home much but do need a bit of space for sporting equipment etc. At the end of a long week, I enjoy kicking back with a drink or two, a cheese platter and nibbles or getting away camping when I can. I also love cooking and watching food and home renovation shows.
Hello! I’m Claudia and I’m a full time fine arts student at QUT. This will be my second year in Brisbane since moving from NSW, and I am keen to share a space with with people who are tidy, mindful, relaxed, fun and sociable. My uni schedule involves very long days (and often nights) during the week. I enjoy socialising, fitness, theatre and arts. I am also really into environmentally conscious living (regarding waste, food, energy etc) and would love to live with people who are likeminded!
I'm currently looking to team-up with someone to find a place on the northside. I moved to Brisbane quite recently for work as an airline pilot. I will be working shifts and may be away for an occasional night. I enjoy the outdoors and will be looking to explore a lot of Brisbane and Queensland. When I'm not outside, I enjoy playing the guitar and the piano, as well as just relaxing at home watching Netflix, playing games or just chatting. I would strictly like to be staying with a flatmate who does not smoke.
Just a full time student who also works part time looking for nice and quite place with like minded people to live with.
Currently working part time, studying floristry and looking for a place to move out to as soon as possible. I’m really open minded, friendly and in need of some independence. Looking for social roommates who want to become friends ☺️ I like my privacy as much as the next person but I’d like to use this as an opportunity to meet some groovy people that I get along with well
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020 and the rental company doesn't allow us to stay another five months (only 12 months extentions are allowed...), so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that to me? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
Hello! My name is Bec and I'm looking to find a home with lots of natural light and a yard somewhere around Kelvin Grove / Newmarket / Windsor. I currently have a sweet foster dog, Rocky - he loves people but is not so great with other pets so I would need to find someone who enjoys the company of pooches but doesn't have a pet of their own. I'd like to share with just two other people, but ideally find a house that has enough space that we're not living on top of each other. I'm in my early 30s and I'm going back to uni next year to study a Master of Social Work. I love reading, making things and being creative, going hiking. I also continue to try my hand at growing indoor plants but with mixed results :( I am a pretty social person and enjoy hang ing out, but also really value having my own space and time. Sharing a glass of wine, dinner and chats is always welcome. I'm looking to share with people in their late 20s / early-mid 30s, LGBTQI friendly, environmentally conscious and someone who is looking to make a nice home (definitely not looking for a rager). If this sounds like it could be you, get in touch :)
Hi there. I've just accepted a voluntary redundancy and I'm looking to relocate back to Brisbane after 20 years away. Prefer a quiet house where I can keep to myself through the day, but happy to socialise at night. House trained, can cook, intelligent with a SOH, friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy most sports and have been a gym junkie in the past. I am comfortable and experienced with children and animals. Happy to pay in advance. Length of stay flexible. Feel free to message me with any questions or to discuss particulars.
We are an enthusiastic young couple with our little companion Murphy the border collie! We love exploring and are always up for cheeky wine or two! We pride ourselves when it comes to living in a clean and tidy environment and love to cook amazing meals. We’re currently looking for a 3-4 month lease from February onwards that’s close-ish to the city.
