I'm a Malaysian Chinese who loves nature, animals and quiet moments. I value my me time and enjoy a calm, cosy home, but when I'm not chilling indoors, I enjoy staying active and spend my free time hiking, biking, practising yoga or indoor rock climbing (hoping to try outdoor climbing soon!). I'm also keen to learn skateboarding while I'm in Australia. So many things to explore, so little time! 😂
I'll be starting my second Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University (Gold Coast campus) in late February 2026. As a mature student at 31, I remain deeply curious and eager to learn, with a strong passion for food, health and wellbeing.
When it comes to living arrangements, I value a clean, tidy and organised environment and hope to share a home with housemates who feel the same. I'm open to either a homestay with locals or a shared house with like-minded people from diverse backgrounds. It would be even better if the household is eco-conscious, as I appreciate sustainable living practices and being mindful of our impact on the environment.
Ideally, I'm looking for a spacious room with plenty of natural light. Having a garden would be a lovely bonus. I'd be more than happy to lend a helping hand and spend time outdoors. 😊
I plan to rely on cycling for my daily commute and intend to buy a bicycle rather than a car, so being within (<15-20 mins) cycling distance to Griffith University would be ideal.
