About me

Hi! I’m a 20 year old woman looking for a place to live. I have been trying to move out of my parents’ house and because of my previous lack of experience with renting, have had very little luck in securing a long term lease or sublease yet.

I am looking to settle down for ideally 12+ months. The longer the better as I am trying to get my life started, and need stability.

I have a car and a license so I am able to help transport groceries and people if necessary, but other wise I am completely self sufficient in terms of transport.
I am a pretty reserved, quiet person and will keep out of the way most of the time if given my own bedroom space.
As we get to know one another I will become a little more comfortable around the other people in the home, if any. Happy to help with chores around the property, or be on a chore roster with other room mates if that helps keep things moving. Let me know and I’ll get it done.

I’m generally pretty easygoing. If we get along well, I’m quite adventurous and love to help out when I can.
I am not personally a huge cannabis user or a drinker, but again, I’m pretty easy going, so I don’t mind if other flatmates choose to do so (I’m good at minding my own business.)

I like to make art in my free time and focus my energy towards creative outlets such as drawing, painting, sewing, makeup, etc. Very into fashion and self expression.
My special talents are
-illustration, design and drawing.
-fluent /native speaker in English and extremely good at forming coherent and grammatically correct sentences
-computer whizz
-good cook
-good at following written instructions (assembling furniture, recipes, tutorials etc.)
-quick learner
-professionally qualified in hair and makeup services, also have an RSA/RCG
-practicing mindfulness and meditation
-wonderful de escalation skills with people (in case they are ever needed)
-being assertive. I make things happen by being clear about my intentions and decision making.
-problem solving is a skill of mine that is particularly useful when things break or don’t go to plan. I am extremely great at improvisation.
-driving: I’m great with driving. I have a lot of experience with driving, and also just enjoy doing it. Happy to pick up things for the house.
Ps. I drive manual so can move your car if necessary and relate to the struggle of being the only person I know who can drive my car.
-car repairs: I have changed my own battery and headlights as well as changing the gear stick in my car.
-sewing. I learned how to sew as a child and haven’t looked back. Can mend clothes, curtains or other household textiles if necessary.

I have a variety of life skills that allow me to be incredibly helpful to have around the house.

I own a lot of clothing, so ideally a closet would be nice but is not a necessity as I DO have
>racks and hangers for my belongings, as well as
>a small vanity desk,
>a shoe rack and
>a bed if needed.
I can set all of this up myself.

I am a person who will appreciate the space for what it is. Not having a place to call my own has made me incredibly grateful for the opportunities that I am given and for the things that I do have.
I not only want to “live” at your property, I want to make it my home.

Will be looking for local work once I have relocated, but I currently work casual bar shifts for different night events around the city.
My sleep schedule is a little off at the moment because of that, but I’m generally pretty quiet and focused on my tasks even if I am awake so shouldn’t be much of a bother.

I have also recently completed my diploma of screen and media studies with a professional college in 2023.

Looking for something private-ish with a budget of around 200-300 pw, ideally less but that’s my realistic estimate.

Ideally a granny flat, studio or share house with a private room.

I am able to move in right away as I have most of my things packed. I’m quite the homebody so I would like to bring my things over and be able to unpack as soon as possible after months of searching.

I need at least a bedroom in a place that is friendly towards students and young people.

Serious inquiries only, please do not waste my time. I am looking for something safe, long term—and readily available to move into. ASAP.

Again, I can give you, at most $300 per week on my current budget. I’ve made this clear, so do not contact me if you aren’t okay with that.
I can provide bank transactions from when I get paid, but I do not ( think) that I am receiving payslips. Can inquire with the provider if necessary.

I will be the ideal tenant, basically
-reliable weekly payments
-keeping the room in order and
-staying out of the way
-staying respectful of others and their belongings
-I have no kids!!
-no pets!! (But am pet friendly)
-no drugs (am 420 friendly)
-non smoker
-non drinker
-no criminal record or charges
-am unmarried so
-almost nobody who would ever stay over, will contact you about guest arrangements if necessary in future.

I am not only a normal person looking for a place to live, but beyond that, I am a homebody looking for a space that I can finally call my own and cherish.
Your property is in good hands.

Thank you! If this spoke to you, please get back to me. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
