Hi, I’m Mathias, 23 years old, from Denmark. I’m currently studying a BSc in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data at the Technical University of Denmark, and I’ll be coming to Perth for exchange at UWA from July to November.
I live in a dorm back home, so I’m used to sharing a kitchen and common areas, and I really enjoy the social side of that, like shared dinners or the occasional movie night. I’m definitely social and enjoy a good chat, but I also appreciate some downtime to relax and recharge.
I don’t smoke, and I only drink occasionally in social settings. I’d describe myself as very clean and respectful of shared spaces.
Outside of studying, I like cooking, staying active by swimming, climbing or going to the gym, and exploring new places. During the semester I expect to spend quite a bit of time on campus or exploring Perth with friends. I plan to cycle to UWA and thus would like a travel time of at most 30 minutes.
I’m mainly looking for a comfortable and respectful co-living situation close to campus, ideally up to around 400 AUD per week. I’m flexible regarding whether the house is more quiet or social, and it would be great to get to know the people I’m living with. I am not sure when I’m gonna move in yet, but it's around the 1-10th of July.
