** About Me **
Hi, I’m a Japanese female in my late 30s, moving to Brisbane in July 2026 to begin my MA studies at UQ. I’m looking for a comfortable, clean, and friendly place to call home for my first couple of semesters.

** Personality & Lifestyle **
I’m respectful, responsible, and an animal lover. I’m a mix of introvert and extrovert — I enjoy chatting and sharing a meal with housemates, but I also like to stay focused when preparing for work or study.

I’ve lived on my own for many years but also enjoyed living with others in student accommodation and while lodging in the UK, so I understand how to maintain a positive and considerate household.

I love cooking and will be a frequent user of the kitchen. If you enjoy trying new dishes, you’re welcome to taste what I make.

My major is interpreting, so you might occasionally hear me practicing in my room. I’m very mindful of noise and always respect quiet hours at night.

** What I’m Looking For **
A room with good natural light, a study desk, and a wardrobe or drawers. I’d also appreciate a decent amount of kitchen and fridge space, and mature, considerate housemates. A calm, clean, and respectful environment is important to me.
