Hey, I’m Britta – a 35yo professional looking for a room + private bathroom in or close to St Lucia. I’m ideally looking to start a lease from late May, but would consider earlier for the right place. NOTE: I'm not requiring a place for the dog in my photo!

I value a tidy, respectful and calm home life where housemates can get along and can hang out or have a chat while using the same spaces but are also considerate of the times where people want their privacy or to do their own thing.

About me:
• Organised and respectful of shared spaces and belongings.
• Non-smoker
• Social drinker when out with friends.
• Respectful of other’s lifestyle choices and beliefs.
• No allergies. Open to places with pets as long they’re clean, and well trained (if dogs). Have lived with both cats and dogs before.
• Work full time hours, Mon-Fri. Usually have a rostered day off every 2nd Monday.
• At home I enjoy reading, puzzles (sudokus, crosswords, jigsaw), board games, occasionally attempts at baking, and a little TV.
• On weekends I aim for a balance of relaxing at home, chores/errands, and getting out with friends for hikes and/or food catch ups.
• I like to exercise before work to wake myself up for the day. I currently do this at home, indoors, so a bedroom large enough to allow this or a suitable shared space would be ideal.

I’m looking for:
• A private room and own bathroom, unfurnished, and within 30 minutes of UQ by public transport.
• Available around May/June
• Up to $300 per week if excluding bills (around $350 per week if bills included). Internet is useful but not essential. May consider a little more rent for the right place.
• A stay length of minimum 6-12 months, with the option to renew if the fit is good.
• Housemates that value the same home environment – maximum two other people in the house.
• Off-street parking for my car would be ideal.
