Mel, Luca and Britt

Hi! We’re Mel, Britt and Luca - three friends looking to sublet a 2 or 3 bedroom home somewhere in Melbourne’s inner east / south-east, ideally around St Kilda, Elwood, Richmond, Kew or nearby.

We’re especially interested in homes whose owners are going away for a few months and would like trustworthy people to look after the place while they’re gone.

We’ve just finished doing exactly this for a retired Australian couple who were away for ~6 months: we stayed in their home in Glen Iris, took good care of the house and garden, and the arrangement worked really well for everyone. We’d love to find something similar again.

A bit about us: we’re all in our 30s, working professionals and PhDs, and friendly, responsible and respectful people. We’d also be bringing Ricu, my mature aged cat, so the house would need to be cat-friendly. We’re very happy to agree on boundaries around which areas of the house he can and can’t access.

We’re flexible on exact suburb and length of stay, but somewhere around St Kilda, Elwood, Richmond, Kew or the surrounding inner east / south-east would be ideal.
