IDEAL MOVE IN DATE: MID JUNE OR MID JULY (flexible) IDEAL LEASE UNTIL: Mid-end September 2018 (possibly longer) 25 y/o from the UK making the most of a year in Australia! Not a typical partying backpacker, I have a stable job in a boarding school in Hawthorn and have settled into life here in Melbourne after arriving in Jan. I'm friendly, sociable and chilled out and will always pay rent on time and have years of house sharing experience :) My current lease is ending mid June so I plan to move around then but I can also be flexible until the middle of July. I stay at work overnight 2-3 times a week so I'm there a lot Monday-Thursday. I have Friday-Sunday off but work occasional weekends. As I spend a lot of time living at work, I’m looking to pay less than 250 a week including bills. I only need a 2-3 month sublet from either mid June or mid July so I don’t want to join a lease if possible. I might be a good candidate for someone: who's going travelling for 2-4 months and wants to sublet their room/who has a spare room and wants a bit of extra income/a working holiday house. Towards the end of the year I plan to see more of this beautiful country so I expect I'll be leaving Melbourne around Sept when my work contract finishes. I am looking forward to getting to know friendly flatmates who are up for doing things together occasionally :) I love travelling and seeing new places in Australia so some weekends I'll be away- please join me if you're also up for exploring! I'm also a bit of a history nerd at times, into planning future travels and enjoy horse riding when I can. I'm often out in the city on a Friday night for a beer after work but I'm not noisy at night and don't come home particularly late. At the weekends I like brunching with friends, having some down time after a crazy week and attempting to exercise more! I have my own furniture if the room is unfurnished and also a bicycle which I would need to store outside somewhere. I won't need to use the kitchen in the week that much as I mainly eat at work (yay for less bills!) and wont need the bathroom in the mornings as I start work in the afternoon. If you have pets, I'd be happy to help look after them. Don't mind living with males or females. Low maintenance and chilled. Will clean and keep the place tidy. :) I've lived in house shares over the past 7 years. Ideally, Id like to live with at least 2 others who I can chat with as well as just living together. Send me a message if you're looking for a new short-term housemate!
Hey there, My names Talitha. I am 21 turning 22 in October. I am a full time dental assistant in the city. Excited to be on here and meet new people and make new friends. I'm generally very busy with work / study and fitness / dance. In my free time i like to see my boyfriend & friends, Play Xbox, draw, cook / meal prep. I'm very organised and tend to be a very clean person. I have struggled when i have lived with anyone younger because of this. I love to have a wine with my friends after a long week. I do work Saturdays which tend to be very busy at work so i really need a quiet room. Ideally I'd like to be somewhere that was a quiet place for the week and a place where people come over for pizzas and drinks on the weekend. Somewhere with respectful, clean & positive people that are welcoming to friends. My lease ends in August so I'm trying to line up a place before then as I don't have any family living in Melbourne. About you- Clean & friendly! Non-smoker! Male or female is okay! Pets are fine too!
Hello, I'm a quiet and tidy boy from India and I am a student at Swinburne University. When I'm not studying I'm at my part-time job. Other than that I'm a big fan of cricket and football. I usually spend my free time just chilling.
I am looking for a private, unfurnished room to move into ASAP: Abbotsford, Collingwood, Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Carlton North, Richmond etc. -Happy to pay up to $250 (more if the place is right). -Must have a parking space (either on street permit or off street). ABOUT ME: I am 23 and work for a pharmaceutical company in Abbotsford, in clinical trials. I like keeping active and am a bit of a yogi, but I also enjoy a good donut or five. Enjoy going on adventures and love trying out new cafes/restaurants. Partial to an espresso martini or two, a good cheese and wine night or a relaxed night in watching Netflix. I also enjoy lying in the sun reading books.....Looking for a house where the housemates enjoy spending time together, but of course also respectful of people's privacy and schedules. I'm very neat and tidy and hope you are too. I have lived in share houses for the past five years. Message me if you'd like to know more, looking forward to hearing from you :) ALSO: I have a nice modern fridge, a 42in TV, a vacuum and iron/ironing board, that I can bring to the house if needed, but if not can store elsewhere.
20 year old, country town gal (NSW), studying Marketing/Graphic Design at ACU. I am managing bookstore (which I love) with almost full-time hours, and when I am not at uni/work there is a good chance I am trying to teak a breather at home. I am not looking for a party house (or someone who smokes bc I have been blessed with the lungs of a fish out of water). So if this is you/your home, I wish you the best but it's a no from me today. I enjoy reading, art and graphic design - and of course a good Netflix binge when feelin' a little stressed. Love a good laugh and coffee (probably too much). Just looking for someone who cleans without having to be 'asked' and isn't a reflection of my last roomies *cries*. I've had fairly horrible experiences in the past with bad roommates, so if you know you are that person please cut all ties with me now! I would appreciate someone who cleans up their shiz, respects their space. If you've read this far and I haven't scared you off, send me a message! I swear I am not an annoying person, just sick of people who don't/won't do their part and make living in Melbourne hell for me 💕
- international student, a honkie 😉 (2 more years study or maybe longer) - laid back, open-minded, - clean, house-trained, - like pets and animals - qualified remedial massage therapist, study to be aromatherapist and myotherapist - started some hobbies: dance, guitar, hola hooping (beginner level😆) Yoohoo....
I am only looking for rooms with an ensuite bathroom, so please don’t message me unless this is what you have available. Thank you. :) I work full time as a cafe manager. I'm always out and about, whether it be playing sport or socialising. Very clean and tidy. Super respectable of other people spaces, but also happy to have a drink or two.
Hi, my name is Michael. I work full time from Monday to Friday. I have recently moved from Adelaide and looking to move closer to my job. During the week I am mostly quiet and tend to play computer games. I spend most of my weekends out. I am clean and considerate, happy to socialise but also happy to keep to myself.
My name is Kristy, I'm 38 and a professional, moving to Melbourne for a fantastic new job. I'm a quiet considerate person, who has two pets. a super affectionate 9yo Alaskan Malamute, named Kaiser and a 13yo cat called Toby. Kaiser needs a grassed secure backyard, but other than that I'm pretty flexible with a shared bathroom, furnished or un-furnished room and suburb as long as it's close to a train that leads to Southern Cross Train Station.
I am an easy going and down to earth kind of chick - I work full time with a range of different hours per rostered month. I am looking for somewhere closer to Melbourne City as I work in Southbank and would really like to cut my commute down from 50 minutes each way! I love music, animals and enjoy a lot of quiet time (just time to myself!) and also going out with my friends, as my job is full on. I have two rabbits who both have their own hutches and would need some type of backyard (if possible) One of my rabbits is indoors but she is small and quite social and relaxed. I'm looking for like-minded adults who don't mind not seeing their flatmate constantly and who is able to accept two beautiful bunnies (they really are quite sweet and you would not need to care for them in any way at all.) I love to cook, bake, chill with a drink or two and love a good conversation. I'm quite flexible when it comes to arrangements and have my own furniture for a bedroom. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send a message. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm a second-year full-time postgraduate student at Australian Catholic University. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and looking to find a place where I could relax and possibly make friends. If you have a quiet little cutie dog it would be awesome since I've been missing mine back home in the Philippines. I am quiet by default so if you like the silence don't worry I won't bother you very much, but also okay with a chat. I am mindful of others and tidy up most of the time. I can cook some Filipino food, if you'd like to try I am willing to share it :)
Hey potential roomies! A bit about us: Romy is currently working most days, and studying. She loves animals and getting a lil creative. Jason is a sk8er boi, who is currently studying and likes to dawdle with screenprinting stuff. We have 1 dog and 2 cats, who are our furry little angels. They are all super friendly and well behaved. Doug, who is our dog, is a greyhound and is quite happy laying around most of the day, he is an extremely good doggo. We have rented for 3 years previously, and are looking for some relaxed housemates, who would be happy to have a beer and a chat.

Hi everyone :) I have been living in various places such as Hawthorn, Maribyrnong and Box Hill and I understand the responsibility as a tenant. As much as I love to socialise and am naturally friendly, I do enjoy my privacy and quiet time and will respect yours. Most of the time, I am busy working in a hospital as an admin (3 days a week) and will be out for university classes or at the gym. I would however love to have dinner or lunch with drinks on the weekend and watch Netflix or TV with housemates of similar interests.

Hey guys, Miss Coco and I are looking for a whole room to rent (max around $220 per week) in the inner Melbourne suburbs (Elsternwick to Brunswick, Kew to the City)! We moved in somewhere 2.5 weeks ago only to discover that the housemates really aren’t dog people after all (go figure!). Coco is an indoor dog, very quiet and affectionate but will shed. I am pretty good at tidying up the fur though. She will only bark when people come to the door, so she’s a good deterrent to burglars but is also a good door bell! She sleeps in my room 80% of the time and will hope for a belly rub the rest ☺️ I’m a professional worker in the city, am very considerate of other housemates and will do what it takes to make a house share situation work. Can be social but can also appreciate time by myself. Have lived in house share situations before. I definitely understand that night time is quiet time and that most house shares have their own routines that I’m happy to adapt to. I’m very drama free and like it that way. Please consider us for your spare room, we’re available ASAP! P.S. I should mention that I have just ended a 1 year lease where I didn’t advise the rental agency of her existence and they were none the wiser. She’s low maintenance and very loveable.
