I'm a full time nanny, animal lover and spend my winters snowboarding whenever I can! I love to cook and enjoy an after work whiskey and netflix with friends. I'm very open minded, respectful and understand that we all need our own space at times. I enjoy keeping a clean and tidy house hold, I'm a non-smoker and I believe I'm an absolute pleasure to live with!
Hi, my name is Gabbie. I am looking for a room to move in next month. I tend to be quiet and generally like to do my own thing & wind down after a long day (of classes) at home, so I'm very respectful of others' personal space/quiet time/privacy. I am friendly, easy-going, tidy, & always pay rent on time. Currently studying business at Uni, I'm a night owl but not a party animal. I can't live with cats but I don't mind dogs; even though ideally, I'd like a house without pets. Strictly looking for a non-smoking house. Some of the things that I enjoy the most are music, movies, and good food. Leave me a message and I'll try to get back to you soon, cheers!
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. I genuinely end up caring about the people I live with and like to create a chilled, homely environment, stress free. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
Hello! I'm Julia, 27 years old, originally from Canada but have lived in Melbourne for 4 years now and call it home. Practice a healthy lifestyle, friendly, genuine, clean/hygienic, well-travelled, sociable, vegetarian and love to food/cooking! In my spare time I love to practice yoga, be outdoors, enjoy Melbourne's beautiful parks or the beach in the summer, and a glass of red wine here or there (all about balance :-). I am reliable with payments and references available if needed. Have lived in Kew for 3 years and now ready to transition into a new place to call home.
My name is Josh. A 25 year old, who enjoys a peaceful yet balanced environment. For me, work, gym, studies and an occasional drink makes up a typical week. I appreciate clean surroundings and relaxing conversations. My energy goes mainly towards work and gym but I'm open to spontaneous trips when my schedule allows me to.
Hi there, I'm Benji! I am 27 and I'm currently working full time at a high school in Camberwell as an admin staff and general tech whiz! I'm also studying part time on the weekends to be a dog trainer, my course ends in January next year. I've just been told by my landlord that she will be demolishing the property I've been living at for the last 4 years and I need to find new accommodation before December 27th (merry Christmas, y'all!). I would be like to be out by the end of November ideally, but happy to work with you on a date depending on the property. I'm also pretty easy on location, so long as I can get to work in Camberwell in under an hour, I'm stoked! A bit about me: I love animals. I have two dogs named Squish and Nibbler. Squish is a 4 year old male Rottie X and Nibbler is a 2 year old female Kelpie X. They are both desexed, have been obedience trained, crate trained and I take them for regular walks. They are the dynamic duo and A-team! Squish will do anything for a treat and Nibbler lives for the ball, so they're good fun! I would also be bringing a 3 foot aquarium with me, but would be happy to keep it in my room if there isn't space elsewhere. It's a tie between coffee and TV for my drug of choice. I also love art, music, books, comics and Game of Thrones! I also like to build things...for example, I built a dog bunk bed and a couple of film sets (spaceships!) I'm currently living in a fully furnished house with all the trimmings, so if you think I could add anything of value to your house as well, I'd be happy to oblige! The rest will likely end up in the skip or in storage. Things like: 3 plasma TVs, stainless steel fridge, bar fridge, Nespresso machine, washing machine, vacuum, SEVERAL couches, desk, dining room table and chairs, lawn mower, whipper snipper, lots of tools, an outdoor gas heater, a media centre pc and several terabytes of movies and TV shows! I have lived in houseshares before and would like some people I can hang out with, though I am respectful of other people's space. I clean up after myself and, obviously, my dogs. I'm pretty easy going, so hit me up if you think you'd like to meet me and my pooches!
I am a very friendly and a warm person. I like to keep things neat and I mostly keep to myself reading novels or my kindle. I love to cook but rarely do so. I do enjoy an occasional social party and I adjust very easily. :)
Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Just finished up with the Melbourne Marathon and now moving on to the World Cup of Golf as the new Site manager. I like to keep healthy and try to get out mountain biking a few times a week. Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Happy to live with quiet or sociable people, have lived with both before and get along great with either. Love animal's but don't have any myself. Non smokers preferred
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever your poison, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people.
Very Easy going , calm and a very clean person to live with . I don't mind pets or couples but other than that I am looking for an all female share only. I am very friendly and not fussy at all.
hi my name is Ryan originally from Gippsland but moved to Melbourne at the start of the year I am a pastry chef for a big catering company in the CBD, I'm easy going when it comes to new people happy to chat and socialise. I enjoy watching movies, tv and cooking. I like to stay neat and organised as well
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
Hello! I'm Ailidh and i'm a super nice, female photographer, working full time in Richmond. I'm heading home to the UK over xmas so will be moving out of my current lovely house and am looking for somewhere temporary when I return at the beginning of January. My visa is until March 18th so not looking for a lease, ideally looking to rent my own room from someone that's away travelling. I have a very sweet, lovely boyfriend who will be popping over from time to time so i'm afraid i'm not interested in any share rooms but i'm Just putting some feelers out to see whats out there, so if youve got a nice room in a house share then pop me a message :)
I am a fun, motivated and positive individual works full-time at a dealership near Collingwood. ( mid 20s) Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything you would like to ask me. cheers. :)
Hi there. I'm from Germany, Cologne, studying Beauty Therapy in Melbourne and looking after a quiet, clean and furnitured place near the centre. I learned Physiotherapist and Spa Manager some years ago and worked also in that profession. I'm a non smoker, like music, travelling, good food, always a good talk, shopping and reading. I like to be in the nature and doing a little bit of sport. I don't like noise, if everything is dirty and daily party in the house. If you offer a home place like this, contact me! :-) and find an honest, clean and quiet flatmate.
I work and study full time however if I'm not doing either of those I love to be at the gym or out with friends. I've been in share accommodation before and really enjoyed living with different types of people. As much as I love my privacy I also love getting to know my house mates and having the odd big cook up together or drinks after work.
Open minded individual looking for a nice room in a house/apartment, working full time split between my 2 jobs as a Barista and Sales Consultant. Currently a student but just finished my exams and am on summer holidays. Into just about everything, music, reading, gym, self development, skating, hanging out with friends. Won't be at home heaps since I'm usually relatively busy, would like to live with anywhere from 2-4 people and hopefully make some great friends along the way Tidy, can cook, and although busy lead a relatively quiet lifestyle. Any questions don't hesitate to call or text me. Looking to move out A$AP.
I'm Pei, in my early twenties and currently working full-time in Kew. I've taken the year off uni but will be returning to RMIT as an architecture student next year. My current housemate's financial situation has changed and has had to move so I am currently exploring my options, ie. looking for a temporary housemate to fill her room, or moving out. I'm from Malaysia and I've been living in Melbourne for the last 4 years. Having moved around a fair bit in that time (happens when you're an international student) I'm hoping to find a great location and flatmates to set down slightly more permanent roots. I'm easygoing, love conversation over a good meal, but fairly private. I enjoy reading, paint occasionally but my life is mostly consumed by architecture at this point. I'm also in a long-distance relationship so you'll be spared one of the greatest banes of sharing a thin-walled apartment for most of the year. ;)
21, law and finance uni student, work a lot, clean and keeps to herself.
We are a graduate couple from the United Kingdom currently travelling Australia on a working holiday visa. We have been in Melbourne for three months already and are looking for a flat for a further three months, before continuing our travels. We both work so are out most days. We are a tidy, respectful couple, who enjoy cooking. Looking for a clean house with flat mates who enjoy a chat and a beer.
I'm fun and bubbly with a great personality and I'm easy to be around. I'm all for doing things together but I also know how to respect others' personal space and when it time to do things seperately. I'm neat and tidy and will not cause any trouble :)
Hi. I am an engineer turned filmmaker and moved to Melbourne to direct a film which still is in pre-production and occupies most of my time. I am pretty easy going, and looking for a quiet place that gives me inspiration to focus on arty side of my craft. Like an ale or two on weekend or go out for a few. I hope to find a quiet place and with max three people sharing. Any question, please drop me a line.
We are a professional couple with a small dog who are looking to make the move interstate. Both really social, love music, movies, games, and comedy. We both also love cooking on our time off. Neat and tidy with excellent references.
Hi there! I'm a 24-year-old Taiwanese girl who currently looking for a place I love to spend my gap year while traveling/living in Melbourne. Currently working full-time as a Barista and I've also got a part-time job in a restaurant. I am tidy, fun-loving and easy-going but also take private space as an important part of life. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks in advanced. Aurora C
Hi! My name is Rebecca and I'm 21 years old. I work full time and my hours are super crazy! So you probably would only see me at night :) Im super friendly but respect the space and boundaries of others and im also an OCD cleaner so you won't have to worry about a messy room mate. Im quiet but enjoy abit of a chat & always happy to chill out on the couch and watch a movie. I'm a big animal lover but don't own any pets. Feel free to contact me for more of a chat :)
22 year old male, very recently moved to Melbourne for work. generally work between 30 and 45 hours a week. I'm tidy and clean up after myself and happy to help with my fair share of general chores. I'm open to doing weekly group dinners but for most of the week I will be cooking my own meals. I love to have a chat and very much hope my future house mates do as well, but I like the occasional time alone. I do enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but I wont be throwing any parties at the house. I do enjoy the outdoors and Ill try to spend a good portion of my weekends out hiking and love the beach/water. I have no issue with pets and kind of encourage it if possible!
I'm a tradesman working as a senior member of a family business, work demands are quite high particularly in summer but it's flexible enough to work around my active lifestyle. I spend a lot of my hours when away from work playing/training competive basketball or at the gym. As I'm fairly active I TRY to fuel myself right which leads me to cook a lot of what I eat, it's also therapy for me. Don't worry I'm not a nazi, I love a beer and food in general so as the week closes to an end you'll see a six pack (in the fridge) and I'm the type to encourage a social drink or dinner. I am in a relationship, currently my GF visits 1/2 nights a week but even a year in she's still very conscious of the footprint she leaves at my current house even though my housemate has take to her more than me 🤔 haha. Personality wise I guess I'm a "do"er, I say yes too much but I love involvement, team work and having a laugh. I'm open minded and like to try different foods, music and places to explore. Obviously with all this action I do appreciate down time also 🙌 It's all a balancing act and understand everyone's needs are different. Unfortunately our house is going back on the market and my current roomie is off to pursue her career aspirations and taken her talents on the road leading me to seek another abode to call home.
Hi I'm ash, I'm 21 years old and work full time at Bunnings northland, non smoker, no pets. Easy to get along with and mostly keep to myself :)
Oh hey there! We're a chill couple from Amsterdam and NZ, early 20's, and looking for a new place to live in Melbourne. We're social beings but also like to have our own space. Always up for a bevvy or a vino, but also like to just Netflix and chill. Both working in Melbourne to keep us busy and to support our travels! Give us a buzz if you have a room for us! Timo & Sarah
Hey guys, my name is Ronnie; a 27 year old Dutchy and ready to "settle down" after a long trip trough Australia. I would describe myself pretty diverse; i like to have a drink, chill, workout, cook a nice meal, order a pizza, being productive, being lazy.. long story short; i am really easy going and looking forward to get a place to stay!
**Please read before messaging me - Need two rooms as I am a single mother with a 7 year old son name Liam. Currently looking for a safe environment and place for me and my son to call home. Have separated recently and our current lease at the moment ends early next year. Preferably looking for a female to share with or even better with a couple with kids or a single parent. I am 30 years old and work full time in the city, so looking for a place not too far from the CBD will be preferred. I do have a beautiful Kelpie X absolutely adorable with kids, people and other animals and also well behaved. You will find me very easy going and easy to get along with. Do enjoy a good chat from time to time, I have a lot of respect for others and their privacy as well. I do enjoy cooking and I am also a tidy and clean person. If you are wanting to know more about me please do drop me a message and I would be happy to have a chat to discuss more :)

Vegan feminist Psychology student at Swinburne University. Part time Bartender/Food&Beverage Attendant. Would prefer to live with another veg in a house that has a bath (I've lived on campus at Swinburne all year and the apartments only have showers and I just really miss baths okay) and somewhere that lets me occasionally light a candle or incense stick or even just lets me accidentally burn a cookie without evacuating the entire building. I like pretty flowers and candles and amateur photography and bartending and learning and handlettering and op shopping.

We are looking to rent somewhere from February 2017 and would like to stay for at least one year. If anyone will have something available in February we would be very interested in getting in contact!

Hey I'm Rach!!! I'm looking for a share house close to the city for any easy comute to work. I'm currently working in children's fashion in the city. And am a quiet yet bubly girl who loves a chat. I love to go Salsa dancing on the weekends and enjoy the odd yoga class 😊 I've lived both independently and in share houses the last 8 years. And understand the importance of house etiquet and keeping communual areas clean and tidy. I can also ensure that I'm responsible and bills etc will be paid on time. If I sound like a good fit for your house it would be great to hear from you!!! Enjoy the sunshine 😊 Rach
I'm an American on a working holiday who just got back from traveling the world for 2 years. It's been a crazy ride, but I want stability right now. I'm looking to start circus training again and I'd love to live in a flatshare with other fun weirdos. I'm a non-smoker, vegan-friendly, dog & cat trainer, who's very clean and experienced in group-living. I'm good at chore-managing and conflict resolution. I'll be in Melbourne for one year and I am financially stable and ready to settle into one place for a bit. I would like to make new friends, so living in a place where the roomies aren't close is just not for me. I like shared meals, dumpster-diving and artists and performers. I had had installed circus aerial apparatus' in my old converted warehouse apartment.
About Me: Hey! I'm Casey and I am 23 years old. I am originally from Brisbane and have just moved to Melbourne. I work part time in retail, but am due to do full time hours once the school holidays start. I am constantly on the look out for a full time job. I am a friendly, laid back person who loves a good chat, but on the other hand there are those days where I do prefer my own space. I am respectful, clean and always pay bills on time (the usual housemate kind of thing). I am a smoker, but a very respectful outside smoker. I will never do it in the house For fun I don't go out to party. I am not one to go out all that often. I'm a binge watcher of all kinds of TV shows and movies (Oh yes, I have an epic TV and movie collection, Netflix and Stan). When I do go out, I like to see the few friends I have in Melbourne to catch up over a good coffee and some brilliant food. I also have a love of going out to concerts and comedy shows (which I try to go to as many as I can). I am a fun and outgoing person once I come out of my shell. What I am looking for: I'm looking to move into a place that is more like a family. I would like to get along with my potential housemates rather than rarely seeing each other and hiding away in our rooms. Cook ups, a good cider/wine together, movie nights and even nights out together every now and then would be fabulous. Room wise, I am looking for something that will fit a queen bed and other basic bedroom things. I do have my own gear so unfurnished would be best. I can also bring lounges, fridge, washing machine and maybe some other gear if it is needed (can be left behind though if not needed). One other MAJOR thing is that a car space is needed as I have my own car. I do not mind if it is on street or off street parking, as long as I have somewhere to park. If interested please contact me through messages or text with your listing. Please do not call as I prefer to look at the listing first so I can see if the place is right for me.
Hi! I'm Shana, 23. I'm currently a student at La Trobe University, studying veterinary bioscience. I'm at uni most weekdays and I work weekends. I play netball twice a week as well. Although I do get pretty busy during the uni semester, I love to socialise and have a good time whenever I'm free, especially on weekends I'm a relaxed and easy going person. I'd love to live in a place with like minded people who would be down for a chat or the occasional drink. I'd like to consider myself as a pretty tidy person, and I'm respectful of other people's space too.
Hi, I'm Gemma. I'm a 22 year old Socttish girl who is looking to live and work in Melbourne for a few months. I'm friendly, pretty laid back and a tidy housemate. I want to explore Melbourne and I enjoy a night out, but equally enjoy Netflix in my pyjamas!
Hey! I'm full-time student in my third year of my degree and looking to move out of home and rent an apartment/flat with someone! I love to cook and read, and am tidy easy-going, social person, so if you're any of these things hit me up!
I will be at uni most days of the week and when I'm not I'll be studying and relaxing at home and would like a quiet, comfortable environment in which I can do that, preferably only one other roommate. Originally from Sydney I like to go out exploring what Melbourne has to offer including bushwalking and the beach. I have a car so would prefer if parking was close to where I'll be living. I consider myself pretty clean, quiet and independent and would like that in a roommate. My partner would stay over 1-2 nights a week, he is also quiet and we would be out together most of the time, I will compensate you for these days on which it happens. Happy to look after myself for food/supplies shopping but split bills with roommate. If you can't tell I'm an honest and upfront person :) Thank you
Hi, I am looking for some amazing housemates in an already established share house or team up that love having a glass of wine or two together at times. I am super relaxed and open to new adventures. I have lived in share houses in both Melbourne and London so understand the rules of sharing a property respectfully with others. I work as a receptionist and nanny and am a local Melbourne girl, message me if you would like to know any other further info :)
I'm looking for a relaxed and respectfulI place to live in. I'm social and understand when people need their own time. Happy to do my part in all household chores. I'm no cook, but keen to help, learn and cleaning up is where I'm usually most helpful.
Hello! I am making the move down from Queensland for Uni. I am respectful, clean and considerate. I play field hockey and volunteer as a presenter at my local community radio station. I love live music, fresh flowers and baking. Also can't go pass a good chat about politics, social issues or the footy; basically anything! As a housemate, I am extremely flexible and understanding as long as there is mutual respect. I'd prefer rent and utility bills to be inclusive but will compromise if needed. Love to hear from you and have a Skype chat so we can get to know each other. I can't wait to immerse myself in the Melbourne lifestyle. Talk soon!

Hey, I have recently moved to Melbourne from the UK. Working full time as a Recruitment Advisor in the CBD. I am clean, tidy and sociable - always up for chats and sharing a meal :) I like keeping fit (swimming and running) and love to travel. Looking forward to seeing what the City has to offer :)
