Hello, I currently finished my Masters in Environmental Science at Monash University, hence I am willing to move to suburbs near the city as am willing to increase my work opportunities. I am from Sri Lanka, my free times are well spent cooking, fitness and outings with a few close friends I have treasured during the past two years of my stay in Australia. Currently am working causal in Alfred Health.
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN BOARDING STYLE ACCOMMODATION OR ANY ROOMS WITH SINGLE BEDS ROOMS FOR THOSE MAKING CONTACT. I am generally a pretty easy going person, enjoy my environment looking nice and being clean most of the time. I would love to find a place with a bit of an outdoor spot to put some pots as I love to have plants around-both indoor and outdoor, would also be keen to get some herbs going. I also love to cook when the mood takes me and told I'm not bad in the kitchen. I enjoy a glass of wine/chat/meal/ with people I live with but also happy to do my own thing. I am from Adelaide and have been in Melbourne for the last two years. I am looking for a place to call home. I am currently working full time and studying part time but will be going full time in March at Deakin doing a bachelor of psychology and working part time as well. I have lived in numerous share houses and I am respectful and considerate of others. Uni keeps me pretty busy but I like to keep fit, get out and about, go to shows, hike, yoga, wine, catch with friends. A good netflix or iview binge and some good chocolate is also sometimes called for. (me in a nutshell)
I am a kind and quiet housemate. I have shared accomodation for the past 5 years and am very mindful of living with others and accomodating to their needs. I work full time and clean and neat. I enjoy sharing and hanging out but also enjoy spending time relaxing on my own. Getting an idea of moving out as there isn’t a time frame but considering it. I have a dog who is well behaved
Hi all, I moved down to Melbourne from Queensland at the start of last year to start work as a physiotherapist. I love what Melbourne has to offer so would prefer to be closer to the city. I've lived in share houses for a few years and have been lucky enough to share with some pretty great people. Happy sharing responsibilities but am a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I also have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Please only contact me on the website as right now I'm living in flight mode. I may take a couple of days to reply as I'm in and out of wifi! Ideally looking to move December or January.
I will be joining Swinburne University from this November as a Ph.D. Student in Astrophysics. I am from India. I will be studying(working) full-time for my research at the university. I am usually a quiet person who understands the importance of personal space. You will mostly find me reading, and enjoying nature. I love walking and staying active and don't smoke/drugs. I would love to interact and learn from people of different cultures. I would love to travel and explore as much as I can.
I am a warm friendly person who respects other's space and independence so i ecpect the same. I prefer cooking my own vegetarian food. I work full-time day shift for Australia Post. I am tidy simple staight forward person Regards Pradeep
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Perth and am looking for a fun place to live! I'm 28, working full time as a facade engineer in the city and easy going. I only came here with some boxes of clothes and a motorbike so I prefer being outdoors in my spare time either at the gym, hiking or reading. Would like to check out places in Melbourne and see what's good out there, don't mind the occasional pub or bar venture and good conversations! Looking for like minded hassle free people, would prefer a place for a minimum of 6 months. 😊 Don't require a furnished room as I have a bed sorted. 😊
Hey Hey, I’m Karo and moved from Perth to Melbourne about a year ago. I rented an apartment with a friend and our lease runs out on the 19th of November:) I'm looking for an empty private room with a BIR for a long term stay. I’m German but have been living here for 4 1/2 years and have rented my own apartment before so I’m happy to take over a lease or even rent a new place if anyone is keen. The places I’m looking at staying would be city, Richmond, abbotsford, kew, hawthorn, toorak, southbank, south Melbourne. I’m pretty easy going, clean and responsible. I work on weekends though so I’m looking for a quieter place:) Can’t wait to hear from you Karo
I’m in the middle of moving back to Melbourne after years away! I’m a neat and tidy person, social and friendly. I’m looking for a place close to the City that also has parking available. Also I can be super flexible with the move in date for the right place!
Hey there! I have just moved to Melbourne from NZ and am currently looking for a place! I’m a chill person who loves to socialise but also kick back with some alone time. Love to cook, and am clean and tidy!
I like traveling and have lived in Japan for a few years where I taught at a university. I'm now working and completing a diploma in Japanese part time. I can speak Japanese pretty fluently and am pursuing it more so I can use it at work. As well as studying and working I like to keep active. I go to gym and play futsal twice a week. I'd like to live with people people share similar interests. Anyone who speaks another language or is interested in international culture will probably get along with me. My other hobbies include music, and snowboarding (when I can). I'm usually pretty quiet but also happy socializing with people I live with. I'm clean, sociable and easy to get along with.
Hey, I have moved interstate in July and am currently looking for a new place as the owner is wanting to move into my current place. I work as a Practice Manager Mon-Fri at a small clinic in Doncaster. Am friendly, easy to get along with, neat and tidy, would like to find a housemates who i can become friends with but also respect our own space. I enjoy yoga, day adventures(hikes), chillaxing, bars/nightlife and whatever is on and happening around Melbourne! :-) I am looking for a homely place that is furnished or to team up with someone who has furniture and start fresh in a place. *I do have my own bedroom furniture*. Look forward to hearing from you
We are two friends looking for our new housemate. We've been living in Richmond for the last few years but unfortunately have to move so now we're looking for someone to help us find the perfect 3 bedroom place together. The place will be mostly furnished, except for your room. We're searching for a friendly, trustworthy and relaxed housemate and want someone who is around our age, works full-time and who is happy to share the occasional drink, pub meal or get together! We'd prefer someone who isn't always in their room and who isn't anti-social or messy. We are often home on weeknights and don’t mind a laugh in front of the TV! We’re respectful of each other and are mindful of keeping our home tidy so everyone can enjoy it all of the time. About us: Hi, I’m Anna. I work in the CBD. I tap dance (don’t worry, I don’t practice at home!) and try to walk to and from the city most days. Other than tap, I’m usually home on weeknights, but am always out and about seeing my friends and family on the weekends. I'm sociable and love going for coffees, drinks and dinners. I also visit family in Inverloch every few weeks. I’m relaxed, easy to get along with and always up for a chat. Hey, I’m Elle. I’m working full-time around the Southbank area and also studying a little on the side. I’m easy to get along with, considerate and friendly. I’m always up for a good laugh, drink/s and making new friends! I enjoy travelling, catching up with friends and the occasional movie night in. Every now and then I'll also head down to Geelong to see friends and family. Hope to meet you soon! Please contact us if you would like to meet up for a chat or if you have any questions.
Hey I'm Dom! Grew up in France but now living permanently down under. Currently working for vicpol and switching stations into the city. On a day off, brunch and coffee places for good chats with friends is my go to thing. Always up for a game of any sports and am always keeping up to date with my favorite TV series (in desperate need of a GoT fix!). On a work day I'm usually either sleeping or acclimating to my shift schedule and keeping to myself, still up for a chat nevertheless! I'm currently looking for a semi spacious room with desk space and ideally an en suite bathroom but can forgo it if housemates are clean :). That said I am tidy and clean and hoping my fellow future housemates are considerate in that regard too! Big no no's: Student accomodation, drugs, criminal records. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm 23 years old guy from Lithuania, East Europe. This is my second year in Melbourne. Studying Fitness. I'm friendly and funny guy. Very easy to communicate with me no matter what. Flexible. Clean (not a clean freak). I may look like a serious guy, but when you get to know me, you'll be surprised. I'm working as a bartender in Italian restaurant at Hawthorn. It would be REALLY nice to live with people who are fun, young, active and social to do something together. Also i respect other people privacy. Everyone needs some chill time in their own room.
I'm a 22 year old guy named Sam that is looking for a new place to live! I will be moving out of my current share house on the 26th of October, as the lease was not extended. I think I'd great to live with because I'm easy going, relatable and always down to have a bit of fun with my roommates. I'm massively into sport, both playing and watching (I'm a Hawthorn nut MCC member, never miss a game), love myself some Netflix (and it's more awesome when you find a show with your roommate and progressively watch it with each other) and a beer to go with. I've been living in sharehouses since I moved out of home at 19. I've had some great experiences and some not so great experiences, and from that I have learnt that you need to respect one anothers privacy if you want some downtime, but also be engaging with one another and create a fun sharehouse life. I also work as a croupier at Crown Casino on a part-time basis, but as it is shift work I go through phases of working 160+ hours every month to sub-100 hours. I've also been studying law and business for three years, but am in the process of withdrawing from University to undertake a Realestate Agent Certification to change careers (or do both) and become a realtor. Exciting times ahead! Feel free to ask any questions! It's super hard writing about yourself :P
Hey All, My name is Tenielle. I am an outgoing, fun female, who is always up for some trashy TV with a glass of vino in hand. I enjoy the outdoors, yoga and exploring all the goodness that Melbourne has to offer. I work full time in the Fashion Buying industry Mon-Fri which can be a little hectic at times, so down time during the week is very important to me. I am from country WA and have called Melbourne home for 6 years now. I have plenty of real estate history as well as references and am now looking for something long term. I am clean tidy and always take pride my own place. If i seem like someone who fit in well, please get in contact :)
Hi, My name is Apeec. I'm originally from Canberra and moved to Melbourne last year. I am a neat, respectful, considerate and friendly person. I also understand the need for privacy and personal time/space. I like sports, reading, philosophy and have an eclectic taste in most things. When not working, you'll find me playing bball, reading, music, radio or out exploring with friends and family. I work full time in the city, so a place that's close to transport would be optimal. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Apeec
I believe myself to be fun, social and someone who is easy to get along with. I enjoy good conversations, banter and having a laugh with friends and family. Some of my biggest interests are Astronomy, movies, computers and reading, alongside trying my best to keep fit and active as well! I am a current Software Development student at Swinburne University, finishing this year with high hopes of kickstarting a career!
Hello my name is Jonno. I am looking for a room in Kew, Balwyn or Hawthorn area (but flexible) in a friendly and clean household. I have been currently living in a 3 bedroom unit with two other house mates. So I am use to cleaning up after myself and sharing a bathroom with others. I am currently working in my family business full time during the week. On Friday nights I will normally go out with mates and on weekends I sometimes go for a walk with MYH on Saturday / Sunday day or work on my cars which are in a warehouse. Then at night go out with mates. I am open to try new things and looking forward to meeting new people!
Hey, I'm Binny, 30 years old. Work an office job standard 9-5. Looking for a place in and around the inner city area. I love music, record shopping (got a nice collection, happy to share with respectful flatmates :) ), going to gigs, and hanging with friends. I play soccer on the weekends, and train twice midweek. I'm a tidy individual who can't stand living in a messy house. I enjoy socialising with the housemates I live with but also enjoy time to myself.
