Hi everyone, I’m Marta!
I’m an Italian PhD student currently based in Belgium at KU Leuven, and I’ll be moving to Melbourne for one year for a research stay at the University of Melbourne.
I’m quite an extroverted person and love exploring new places, going out, and discovering the city and its surroundings. I’m also into DIY projects, enjoy browsing local thrift stores, and grabbing a coffee afterwards. That said, I do have my introverted moments too: sometimes you’ll find me spending a whole weekend watching reality shows (Love is Blind, Married at First Sight, Too Hot to Handle… all of them).
And yes, very stereotypically Italian, but I absolutely love cooking, especially Italian food.
I’m a clean and respectful housemate. I usually follow a cleaning routine and like to keep shared spaces tidy, especially after cooking. That said, I’m not overly strict and totally understand that everyone has off days.
I’m looking for a private room in a house or apartment, ideally with a maximum of two roommates (preferably girls). I’m happy to share the kitchen and bathroom, just not in a large household. My budget is up to 300 AUD per week, even 400 if it's something private.
