I'm moving to Hobart after living in the UK for the past five and a half years. I will be working part time as a research vet, which will involve occasional trips away for field work. In my non-working life I anticipate filling my days with hiking, running (slowly), cold water swims and developing my pastry-making skills. Although it will be a new home for me, I already have a well-established community in Hobart.

I'd love to share with people who enjoy a relaxed and peaceful household. I am happy to have a chat and share time/space/cuppas with likeminded housemates, but I also value my own quiet time in a chaos-free environment.

My cattle dog x kelpie, Gus, will also be joining me. Due to import regulations, he won't be returning to Australia until late November, but I am looking for somewhere he will be welcome too. Gus is 11 yr old, and has lived harmoniously with other dogs and cats in the past.
