Hey, my name is Harry. I'm originally from Tasmania but have been living in Melbourne for the past six years while studying and working. I've recently accepted a pilot position based out of Sydney Airport and will be relocating in mid to late July/early August.
I've been living in share houses since leaving college around five years ago, so I'm well versed in maintaining a clean, respectful and easy-going living environment. Over that time, I've lived in a variety of different house setups, from a house with four girls and myself through to all-boys share houses of four people, as well as other mixed arrangements. This has made me pretty adaptable and comfortable living with a wide range of people and personalities. Growing up with three sisters has probably helped with that as well.
I’m considerate of other people's space, tidy and always happy to do my share around the house. The nature of my work also means that once training is finished I’ll likely be away on occasions, so I’d be a pretty low-impact housemate.
Outside of work, I enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible, whether that’s going for a run or a walk and I’m looking forward to spending more time at the beach after moving up to Sydney. I’m also a keen golfer and try to get out at least once a week. I’m a big AFL fan and enjoy following the cricket over the summer. I’m always up for a pub catch-up or a coffee, but I’m equally happy doing my own thing and really appreciate a relaxed home environment.
I’m ideally looking in the Bondi, Coogee, Randwick, Maroubra, Surry Hills or Paddington areas, but I’m open to other locations that have good access to the airport. I’m looking to move in with people around a similar age with similar interests and a relaxed, social but respectful home environment.
My budget is around $400–500 per week, If you think I’d be a good fit for your place, I’d love to hear from you. Alternatively, if you’re also looking for a place and would be interested in teaming up to find something that suits us both, feel free to get in touch.
Cheers,
Harry
