My name is Jerry(Zhijie) Cheng, I graduated from University of Newcastle in 2025 and I just relocated from Newcastle to Brisbane after accepting a full-time permanent position with Grant Thornton Australia (starts from 1st September 26). Prior to this, I worked at PwC Australia for more than one year. I am excited to begin this new chapter of my career and am looking for a place that I can truly call home for the long term.

I take pride in being a reliable, responsible and respectful tenant. I live a quiet lifestyle, do not smoke, have no pets, and always keep my home clean, tidy and well maintained. I understand the importance of treating a rental property with care and respect, and I believe in communicating openly and promptly with property managers whenever necessary.

Financially, I am in a very secure position. I have quite amount of personal savings, own a fully paid-off vehicle purchased last year and have secured stable full-time employment with Grant Thornton. I am confident in my ability to meet all rental payments on time and consistently throughout the tenancy.

I am looking for a long-term home rather than short-term accommodation. My goal is to settle in Brisbane, focus on my career, and maintain a stable living environment. You can expect me to be a dependable tenant who pays rent on time, respects neighbours, follows the terms of the lease, and takes genuine care of the property as if it were my own.
