Vanessa franklin

I’m Vanessa, 32, originally from NZ. I moved to Sydney last September after seven years in London and have been living in my own place in Darlinghurst since, so im pretty independent and used to taking care of my own space.

I work in Talent / HR, and I’m also an artist. I’m just finishing up a six-week artist residency at Bondi Pavilion, which has been such a fun way to spend winter and has definitely made me want to move back to the beach.

Outside of work I’m into painting, Pilates, tennis, the beach, galleries, good food, dinners and drinks with friends, and generally being out and about. I’ve got a great group of people here, including some family and my twin brother.

I’m friendly, tidy, easygoing and pretty self-sufficient. I’m social but also have my own life going on, also like chilling at home too, which I think makes for a really nice flatmate balance.

I’m heading to Europe for a few weeks at the end of August and will be back before my lease finishes at the start of October, so I’m looking for somewhere around then. Ideally Bondi / the eastern suburbs and somewhere that feels like a fun, relaxed home.
