Hi! I’m Christian, a full-time professional currently based in Melbourne and relocating to Sydney for a new role in banking.
I’m looking for a comfortable, relaxed place to call home, ideally sharing with one other person (although I’d be open to two) and within an easy commute of the CBD.
During the week I’m generally pretty quiet at home. After work I like having somewhere I can unwind, cook dinner and relax. I’m also a bit of a grandpa when it comes to sleep and am usually in bed around 10pm on weeknights so I can get up early, so I’m definitely looking for a home that’s more relaxed than a party house!
That said, I’d love to live with someone I get along with rather than simply sharing the same space. As I’ll be new to Sydney, it would be great to have a housemate who’s up for the occasional dinner, board game, weekend walk/hike or exploring different parts of the city together, while also being comfortable doing our own thing.
Outside of work, I’m really into running, hiking, nature and generally keeping active. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle, don’t drink or smoke, and I’m pescetarian (although I have absolutely no issue living with people who eat differently!).
I think I’d probably be best suited to living with another working professional with a similar sort of routine: friendly, considerate, clean and respectful of each other’s space, particularly when it comes to keeping things relatively quiet at night.
My move-in date is fairly flexible as I’m still finalising my start date for the new role. I’ve put 16 November as a rough guide, but I could potentially move a little earlier or later. I’m also flexible on the length of stay, ideally somewhere around 9–12 months, but I’d be open to a little longer for the right place.
If that sounds like it could be a good fit, feel free to send me a message. I’d be happy to have a chat or jump on a quick call to get to know each other and see if we’d be a good match 😁
