Ava

Hi I’m Ava, a full-time teacher, part-time dance teacher. I’ve always lived in Brissy, so I’m very much a local although I’m always keen for an excuse to escape to the beach.

I’m the oldest sister, which probably tells you everything you need to know about me, I’m naturally organised, will probably remind you to bring a jacket, and have strong “mum friend” tendencies.

I previously lived out of home for four years during uni with my best friends, and somehow we all survived living together and are still best friends today, so I’d say that’s a pretty solid reference for my flatmate credentials.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me reading, at Pilates, hunting down a good coffee, going to the beach or watching an unreasonable amount of reality TV and if things keep going the way they are, I’m fairly sure I’ll eventually end up on Love Island UK… despite being very much Australian.

During the school term I work two jobs, so I’m definitely busy, but I’m also very much someone who loves coming home, having a chat, cooking dinner, watching something together or just hanging out.

I’m clean, considerate and easygoing, and I’m looking for a place that feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
