Hi! I'm Nawel, 36, from Paris, arriving in Sydney in mid-November on a one-year Working Holiday visa.
I've just completed my apprenticeship as a hairdresser, so I'll be looking for work in a salon or barbershop, with casual hospitality shifts as a backup. My English is fluent, so communication is no issue.
Outside of work I'm all about the ocean: surfing is the main plan, plus snorkeling and anything beach-related (professional tanning included!). I'm also a social dancer, mainly Bachata and Argentine tango.
I'm looking for a friendly, respectful house, not a party house. Quiet evenings and nights are a priority for me, as I need good sleep to work well. I'm happy to stick to a cleaning rota, and I enjoy a chat in the kitchen.
I'm looking for a room from late November / early December, ideally around Bondi or the Eastern Suburbs (Randwick, Maroubra, Coogee, Clovelly), though flexible as long as I'm near the ocean with job opportunities nearby. I’d like to commit for 2-3 months to start, and happy to extend if it's a good fit.
