I'm originally from Adelaide, but have recently decided to do the young professional thing and move to Canberra for a job in the legal services sector. I am very friendly, easy going and always in a good mood. Looking to ideally move in with people who are happy to have a chat and get to know someone new, and enjoy an occasional wine!
Hi there! My name is Callum and I just graduated from my Honours in Philosophy at UC. I currently work at a bakery/cafe near the Airport and am hoping to move to central Canberra to be closer to my work and also ANU for post-graduate study (Currently a 30 minute drive). I absolutely love cooking: i will likely force poached eggs, avocado on toast and an array of experiments down my potential housemates throats. I love a good glass of red wine (or shot of vodka/gin + tonic). I read and write a lot, love nature, Netflix, hiking, travelling and generally have little obsessions that crop up (Recently it was homemade Pizza bases + freshly baked bread). I am very easy-going, relaxed, communicative (like i talk through most issues i have with people, often to a fault because i absolutely cannot stand resentment), clean, caring and helpful person.
Hi, I’m looking for long term accommodation in Canberra as I’m moving from Adelaide for a job. I’m clean and responsible and a whiz in the kitchen (future flatmates may be used as cookie taste testers). I enjoy both a shared meal/chat and alone time. I’m a lover of Netflix, books, and casual games. Pet friendly but currently pet free (if you have a dog it can expect many belly rubs). I’m looking to move late January 2019 but I’ll be in canberra January 10-15 and I’m keen to set up inspections/meets for then. Also happy to sign a contract that weekend if the rooms/people are right.
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a full-time job in Kingston. I'm looking for some friendly housemates who are social and up for a chat but also do their own thing :) I'm always down for house hangouts and outings if people are keen and free. A bit about me: I have past experience living in share-houses and have found some great housemates and friends through them. I keep common areas clean, though my bedroom tends to go through cycles :p. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and checking out new places. I also love bike riding whenever I can, and although I've briefly dabbled in mountain biking, I'm keen to get more actively involved in it once I move to Canberra. I also really enjoy cooking in my free time, and teaching myself new dishes from different cuisines. I'm happy to chat over phone or video call I know that can be a better way to good way to get to know a bit more about each other. If you want a reference from my past or current housemates, I'm happy to provide you with a few people to chat to. My move-in dates are flexible as I'm keen to find a great house and housemates, rather than just any place to live. I'm currently looking for long-term accommodation and if you want a bit more info. about me or think I'd be a good fit for your house, I look forward to hearing from you :)
I am from Cambodia, and I will be studying Master Degree in Entrepreneurship at ANU in Jan 2019. I am outgoing, friendly and sympathy but also quiet sometimes. I love listening to people and respect people’s opinion or value. I love to keep thing organized and clean. I enjoy reading, watching GoT, and adventuring in the bush. I do drink socially and love to try new things.
Hi! I'm a recent Computer Science Graduate who's moving to Canberra from Newcastle to work full in the private sector. I'm clean and tidy and like to help around the house. I have a quiet personality however love to socialize once i get to know you. I'll be working the majority of the day, however in my spare time i like to: go to the gym, watch Netflix, go for walks/rides, play video games, go shopping or just visit a cafe for a coffee/tea. Looking to live in the Inner northern part of Canberra preferably walking distance to Civic. If you have a room to offer or would like me to team up with you, I’d love to hear from you! Cody :)
I am clean and tidy at home. I am new to Canberra, relocating to commence a new role in the public sector on 7th January 2019 so looking for accomodation from 5th January 2019 for six months initially. I enjoy the company of other people as well as some down one on one time. I also like a glass of wine every now and again as well as yoga, meditation, natural therapies and walking.
Hi everyone! I'm going into my 3rd year at ANU and looking for a place to stay while I finish my degree, and this is my first time looking for a place to live online. I'm a pretty chill guy who loves a healthy balance of me-time and social-time. Super clean and enjoy keeping the house and garden clean when I have the time. I'm big into music, long distance running and traveling around the area to discover great hiking trails so I'm looking for ideally somewhere close to Black or Ainslie. Also enjoy playing card games or nintendo switch in the living room and having a wholesome time with some friends every now and then, while allowing some time to ourselves. Looking for people who would like to team up or rent.
Heya, I am witty, respectful, reliable, smiley, communicative and multicultural. I love doing exercises in the gym and reading books in my spare time. Long Black is my daily morning kick. I am well travelled in the world and having a passion for life. Upon my graduation at ANU, I am seeking a long-term lease (12 monthes+) property that is close to the civic area. Sadly farewelled my amazing on-campus living community, I long to make the new place a homy one again with my future roommates. I am sort of a low-maintenance person: being clean, tidy and noise-free, doing meal prep, laughing at quality banters and memes, open to having meaningful conversations or random chats. Having said so, you will find me compassionate and helpful if you need a hand. I don't have furniture, pets, car or bicycles; I am a non-smoker. I am open to teaming up at this moment.
I am moving from Perth to Canberra to begin an APS graduate program in early January 2019. Looking for a room in a share house, ideally with housemates with similar lifestyles. I am very easy going, organised and sociable. Happy to chill and hang out with housemates over a meal, bottle of wine, FIFA, board games etc but also respectful in everyone doing their own thing. I pack light so the biggest things I will bring are my bedroom furniture. I enjoy watching sport, checking out new places, going to the movies and reading books. Hopefully I will add some some social sports to the mix!
I am from Thailand. I have been awarded a full scholarship to study abroad and am attending a postgraduate program in biological science at ANU next year. I am kind of shy but always nice to make new friends. I love to learn new things and share experiences with other people. I love travelling and outdoor activities like hiking and diving. I enjoy watching fantasy movies or TV series, reading young adult literatures and listening to various kinds of music in my free time. My cooking skill is poor but I am trying. I am looking for a furnished, quiet room.
Hello, I am 22yo and have studied music (undergrad) and Speech Pathology (Master's) from UniMelb. I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a graduate position at local Hospital. I am also simultaneously pursuing a career as a classical singer so looking for housemates who are ok with some singing before/after work for at least an hour a day. Otherwise, I am fairly easy going and tidy person, who is keen to play netball (hmu if you know any legit or mixed teams), watch the footy (AFL), chill out and meet new people! Looking for a room from mid Feb onwards.
Hello there! I'll be moving to Canberra from Sydney at the end of January next year to work for the APS. I'm super easy-going, very organised and tidy, and totally a people person (but I simultaneously completely love and respect the concept of "me time"). When I'm not working, I love being outdoors, especially if it's anything water-related, or hanging out at home and watching TV with a cup of tea :)
Hi, I'm Tyler! I finished my uni studies this year (Psyc and Commerce) and am moving to Canberra for a grad role at the APS in February 2019. Last year's grads have told me the rental market gets real rough closer to Feb, so happy to start looking a little earlier to make things easier! I've lived out of home for the last year, and am a tidy housemate. I spend my off time reading and playing keyboard (I can plug in headphones so I'm not a nuisance). I'm occasionally active, riding my pushbike or going for a run or hike. I'm social and up for a chat, board games and cards but also enjoy time on my own. My gf currently works in Sydney so I'll commute up there some weekends. 1-2 others would be preferable with a private bathroom but that's not super necessary. I'm looking near the Parliamentary Triangle to make the work commute easier but am unsure which suburbs are best, so I'm pretty flexible with location! Please don't hesitate to get in touch!
I'm a full time IT guy in the public sector who has being in Canberra for about a year now. I'm pretty out and about socially but am also fond of chilling out in my room after work or having a quiet dinner and board game/TV night with friends. A few of the things I have being enjoying in Canberra is going hiking and picnicking in the national parks, I'll basically live at the snow once the season is back in and otherwise enjoy the occasional weekend down at the coast in the warmer part of the year. One of my current hobbies is seeing how much chocolate I can cram into various baked goods. I like to keep a tidy house and am looking for people who also enjoy tidiness as well as a healthy mix of sociability and privacy :)
Hi, I'm a Melbournian who moved up to Canberra early on in the year. I work time full-time in the public service, but I'm always down for a drink and a boogie during the weekends. I enjoy going pole dancing, having coffee catch ups and going on non-sensical rants.
