We're a group of three friends who are full-time students at the ANU and we also work part time. We're looking for a 2 bedroom apartment close to the uni. We're friendly people who get along with others easily. We're also particular about cleanliness and living cordially so we'll definitely keep the house with utmost love and care.
Hey! I am a blues/soul musician studying at CIT currently. I play guitar and am a singer, but am able to play quietly with headphones and such so noise would not be a problem. Pretty easy going, I enjoy my personal space, am (relatively) neat, and would love a couple of easy going flatmates! I do work weeknights however, so would most likely not be home a fair bit of the time
Hello there! I am a graduate student studying natural resource conservation, I'm studying on the U.S. mainland but am originally from Hawaii. I'll be in Canberra for a research fellowship at ANU from June through early August. I'm an experienced traveller (Chile, Argentina, Antarctica in the last year, more before that) and very independent, but I also like to hang out and cook or have a drink. I will be pretty focused on my studies but hope to explore the recreation areas around Canberra a bit, and maybe try to escape to Tasmania for a few days. I'm a pretty quiet housemate, I know how to be an adult and clean my dishes, sweep, etc. I do like to cook (though not a lot of fried foods) so it would be helpful to find a place a with a kitchen.
I'm currently a full time postgraduate student at ANU. Well, I was born, raised, educated and challenged in Phnom Penh, Cambodia before moving here. I originally wanted to keep living and challenging in my home country, but then later became interested in traveling and learning different culture and thought it would be better to do so through thriving in a different society with diversity and appreciating a simpler way of living. Up until now, I've been in Canberra for nearly two weeks, and I am still looking for a place to move in since I am currently living in a temporary accommodation. I promise to be a good tenant who will make an on time payment and will take care of your house as my own. Besides, I am not a drinker and a smoker, but a follower who will try all my best to meet the landlord's requirements.
I am a 23 year old male currently working at the Australian institute of sport looking for accommodation preferably around bruce or belconnen. i have recently moved to the ACT from VICTORIA. I am a non smoker although i am not bothered by smoking, i have no pets and no children. I am a very clean and tidy person and i am pretty easy to get along with. if this sounds like someone you could see yourself living with please feel free to contact ether on this site or by mobile
Hi! My name is Nina, I'm 24 years old. I have just been offered a full-time job in Canberra working for an international aid organisation. I'm moving down from Sydney for the job, so will be very new to the Canberra area. During the week, I like to go out for dinner or drinks, but I'm equally satisfied having a quiet night in. I'm a very social person, on the weekends I spend my time catching up with friends and exploring new restaurants and bars. I'm looking for some friendly housemates who will help me settle into my new life in Canberra!
I am a poet and yogi looking for a sharehome with creative soul-minded people. I was born and raised in Adelaide, moved to Melbourne for a career in literary publishing, then travelled half the world only to find mySelf in Australia at Chenrezig Buddhist Institute, southeast Queensland. I'm a 33-year-old male studying transpersonal psychology in his spare time and practising a hermetic/heuristic form of eclectic spirituality based on teachings from Nature, spiritual masters, literary geniuses and musical prodigies. It's all dharma if we choose to see it that way. I'm looking for a place to live where I can set up home for the longish term, with people who are on the spiritual path, somewhere between southeast Queensland and south-coast New South Wales. I guess you could say I’m a semi-confused, half-recovered former hippy-careerist: I stopped using drugs in January 2017; my head half-spontaneously sprouted dreadlocks in 2015; my Saturn Return started in 2013; I quit my job and started travelling in 2011; I’ve been a seeker of mystical truth since birth in Adelaide, 1983. I’m looking for a sharehome that would ideally be drug- and alcohol-free, but knowing the creative soul-minded community, I appreciate this is … well, idealistic. A home characterised by moderation in moderation would be ideal. I am a man of open mind, heart and spirit who loves to communicate thoughtfully and explore emotional sensitivity for its creative and transformative beauty. I work hard at being the best man I can be, and I tend to expect nothing less from the people I share my time and energy with. So I’m looking for a sharehome of progressive, compassionate, intelligent and creative people who are working on themselves to make the world a better place from within. I live a life of simple material pleasures and intricate spiritual ones ~ above all I value and pursue the evolution of Consciousness. I observe celibacy as a spiritual practice and identify as non-binary / gender-neutral. I am currently weaning myself off tobacco and caffeine, with a view to establishing a yogic vegan diet by the beginning of 2018. I currently receive unemployment benefits with a temporary exemption to give me some time to recover from depression without having to look for depressing menial work (which I have done my fair share of throughout the years). I’m doing really really well in the mental-health stakes, and I look forward to being self-employed again as a poet and healer by the beginning of 2018 while I continue studying Eastern psychology at dharma centres on the east coast. I value honesty, trust and open communication. I am allergic to passive aggression, manipulation and self-righteous indignation. I embrace the differing lifestyles of others and I expect the same in return. For example, I prefer to have the dishes done before bed, but I don't berate myself or others when this doesn't always happen. I'm one for having rosters and rules we can break for a laugh. I am a clean but not-exactly-tidy person ~ I value order-in-chaos, and cleanliness, but would prefer to share a home that is lived in rather than a house that is always impeccably clean and tidy. I love to cook and share food with home-mates. I love adventure ~ camping, trekking, cycle-touring and learning how to eat native weeds without going the way of Alexander Supertramp. I studied permaculture in 2015, discovering that I have a heartfelt affinity for soil and compost. I love to garden and salvage materials from building supplies to coffee grounds. I love talking shit and having a cackle over a cup of tea in the morning. I also love getting my meditation practice done before I emerge into the home so my moods are not hanging out everywhere. I'm far less moody these days, since I purged a lot of demons in January. ^^^I am, clearly, an essayist as well as a poet.^^^ I will probably post this on my blog later :D

I'm a very easy going student currently studying at ANU and working a retail job. I'm easy to get along with, and looking forward to living in a nice relaxed group environment. I tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I enjoy socialising as well. Always keen to play video games, board games, and I love horror movies, but I'm always happy to just chill.
I'm a young professional, enjoy housemate hangs and good company. Respectful of space and privacy. I usually have things on after work and on the weekend but looking for somewhere to call home. I'm into camping, simple cooking, reading, gym, and politics.
Creative. Relaxed and considerate. Love gardens, leafy suburbs and hikes. From Penrith, Sydney relocated to Canberra to work in public service. Outside of work I write stories, play soccer and guitar jam
Relocating to ACT for a new contract / Study. I'm super tidy, respectful, easygoing (awesome sense of humour even if I say so myself :), non-smoker. I'm single but not dating so you won't have random people in your lounge room, I'm just here to work and study for the next year and want a clean, convenient, quiet place to do that! Since I am relocating a furnished room would be perfect but not essential. Ideally own bathroom.
Hi, I am moving to Canberra in April 2017 after living in Dubai for 14 years - very excited about settling in a new place! I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. Professionally, I am a Training and Development specialist, on the look out for job opportunities. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates.
Hey there! I've recently moved over from Perth for work and am looking for some lovely people to share/rent with! During the week you'll most likely find me catching up on work (sad life I know) or binge watching tv series. On the weekends I enjoy going out for food/casual drinks and try to explore more of Canberra! I am tidy, friendly and respectful of others and their personal space and am looking for others who are the same. Please feel free to shoot me a message if you'd be interested in chatting and possibly teaming up to find a place! :) xx
Hey there! My name is Andy and I'm moving up to Canberra in April 2017 to take a role with the Federal Circuit Court. I'm a quiet, friendly, lefty 27 year old whose interests include playing music, riding bikes and other similar generic recreational activities. I'm looking for some cool, like-minded housemates who are willing to share their hard-earned Canberra-local knowledge with me!
Hi I'm a young professional working in the accounting industry. Looking to move in June. I'm an easy going person. I enjoy socialising but also like my quiet time. I like to cook and quite a tidy person. I have a chocolate Labrador puppy who will be 6 months old when I move. She loves people, is learning manners and is good with other dogs. I don't smoke and rarely drink. I am happy to room with males or females, singles or couples. Shoot me a message!
We are an easygoing, respectful and open minded couple moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, to do a fulltime internship at CSIRO for 6 months. During the week we will be working and in the weekends we would like to explore the area and meet new people:) We have both been living in a housesharing situation for 5-6 years in Amsterdam. We both like sports and being outdoors. Send me a message if you can help us out or want to know more about us!
I'm arriving Canberra early June from the US to begin my physics post graduate degree at ANU. I'm a shy nerd who's quiet and keep to myself most of the time. I will spend a lot of time in a cafe during weekends (if one's available nearby). I like to draw, watch Netflix, read manga, and play video games when I have time. I'm down for outdoor adventures if the weather permits. I enjoy trips to pubs every once in a while. Not a heavy drinker, not a smoker, not a party creature. Looking for a quiet place somewhere that's within half an hour bus ride to ANU. A bedroom with private bathroom, an ensuite, a granny flat, or a studio is preferred. I'm a cat lady so if you have a cat I'm totally cool with that.
Hey! I'm Angus, 21, Canberra bred. I work full time as an assistant restaurant manager in downtown CBR and also study. I'm looking for a peaceful, communal and social household to be a part of, or go on the quest for accomodation with like minded people. A little about me (lol): my plethora of interests include but are not limited to: photography (film in particular), cinema (independent/arthouse), discussing matters of the world and heart, cooking amazing vegan food, supporting LGBTQI+ rights, literature and the world of food and beverage. I've also travelled a fair bit, around Europe, Asia and Aus. I always seem to find myself out and about on the weekend, and keep a pretty active social life. That said I like to keep it considerably chill at home and am more Martha Stewart when it comes to affairs of the house. Although a tipple and a giggle over dinner doesn't go astray. Looking for somewhere inner-north, within easy cycling distance to the city, not to fussy with room size/type although the bigger the better. Thanks for reading!
I am 26 years old and work full-time in the public service and after work I generally head to the gym, so, some nights I don't get home until after 7pm. During the week I tend to keep to myself but happy to share a meal, drink or a movie on weekends. I am extremely reliable, respectful and helpful - so no issues getting rent or bills out of me :) I have no problem with overnight visitors/boyfriends/girlfriends as I hope people who are okay with me having an overnight visitor a couple nights a week. I currently have household furniture such as, fridge (new), lounge set, kitchen items etc which I am happy to use or to leave in storage and I also have a vehicle I will need to accommodate for. I'm ideally looking for a place, big enough for a queen bed and other furniture, with my own bathroom (preferably an ensuite master room). Happy to move in as of 7 April 2017.
I'm very easygoing, clean and quiet. I do shift work full time and I try to get out and about on my days off.
Looking to share over the next 6-12 months. Preferably inner-south or inner-north areas in Canberra. Work full time, study part time. Social drinker. Gym often. Please no pets thanks :)
