Grad working in the APS. Looking for a place with LGBT friendly folk. I'm clean, can't cook and honest. I am a single guy, so may want to bring some company over etc.🤷🏻♀️ In my free time I like to play video games, go for walks and longue.
Studying for a Semester at ANU and looking for short term accommodation. I own a small business / fitness franchise and like to live a fairly active/ healthy lifestyle. I imagine my schedule in Canberra will be pretty full with study, work commitments and travels back and forth to Sydney. I'm very laid back, social when in the mood but do also like 'quiet time' or chillin' in front of a doco. Love cooking (time permitting), outdoor ventures and the cinema! Prefer furnished option at this stage. Thank you :)
Hello I'm Jem! I'm quiet, honest, easy to talk to and very respectful. I also absolutely love meeting new people! I have a friendly calm 7 y.o cat who does his own thing, has never attacked scratched or bitten anyone ever, however he does not get along with other animals at all. I know how to take care of myself and how to take care of a home, I have lived by myself for 2 years and out of home since I was 17, I am very clean and tidy and always willing to chip in with anything that needs to be done. I enjoy creative things, I love gardening reading writing hiking and drawing but also love to binge watch Netflix or weird documentaries with a cheeky glass of wine. I don't party I just want a nice place to call my own so I can work hard. I have all my own furniture and appliances so unfurnished is fine or I'm happy to bring along anything that might be needed Im also in the process of looking at a few 2-3 bedroom properties through real estates, I have some inspections coming up and if any of you are interesting in teaming up then just message me and you are welcome to come along I kind of need to find a place asap Feel free to message me any time :)
Originally from Melbourne, I’m looking for a place that’s fully furnished (including in the room) as I don't have furniture with me. A little about me… • 30yo (big kid at heart) professional male currently studying a Masters part time; • Grew up on the Gold Coast but actually a Melbourne boy; • I've had 10+ years experience living in share housing with both males and females; • I'm clean, tidy and considerate, but also sociable - so we can hang out... or not and do our own thing; and, • My interests include travel, entertainment (reading/tv shows/movies), volleyball and socialising. Let me know if you think it could be a good fit and when's suitable for an inspection - Looking to move in from mid-Feb to early Mar (latest 9-10 Mar).
Returning to Canberra for study and job hunting, after working in the UK and South Sudan. Looking for a room available now or end of March at latest, preferably for 6 months minimum, but intend on settling in Canberra for a while so longer works too. I like sharing dinner and a glass of wine, perhaps having a few others over to do so as well, but not after a party house. On a weekend I'll be heading out for frisbee, running, hiking, with a bit of that through the week too - a spot (on road/off road) for a car is needed. I enjoy keeping communal spaces clean. Would be great to live with people in their mid 20s-30s. Unfortunately sneezing mess around cats :( , and not keen on smoking households. I'd like a room with a window, plus space for a double bed and a small desk. Most importantly, I'd love to meet housemates as well!
I'm a German biology PhD student coming to Canberra in March for a 12 months research stay at the ANU. I'm looking for flatmates who aren't just sharing the house to keep the rent low. I also like having meals or tea/wine/beer with my flatmates once in a while. I've been in shared flats for nearly ten years now, so I know how to keep common areas clean and I respect when people need some time on their own. In my free time, I like learning languages, playing board and card games with friends, going to concerts and being out in nature/hiking. I'll have to leave my band in Berlin, so I'm excited to see which new hobby I might pick up in Canberra.
I'm easy going, full time Marketing Manager working in the innovation environment. Love cooking and sharing a good meal over wine. Respectful of others space as I like for others to respect mine. I can't stand bad odors so I keep the place pretty clean, without exaggerating. Looking for someone with values, non smoker (sorry I'm allergic), no drugs (sorry I hate them). Who is relaxed and social thus can have fun in a healthy way.
Avid book-reader, passionate podcast-listener, and whiskey-enthusiast extraordinaire. Master of the cocktail arts, so much so as it pays the bills. Looking for someone neat and tidy, who gives a damn and shows respect to the space they're inhabiting. Desperately keen for a garden or a bit of shrubbery for weekend reading in the sunlight, or a few beers late at night.
Hi, I'm a research scientist who enjoys playing sports and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, tidy and reliable. Please message me if you'd like to team up or if you have a room available.
I work full time as a technical support engineer, and will be working from Canberra which is why I'm looking for accommodation here! I am originally from Sweden (but an Aus citizen), so this will be the first time I'm permanently living in Australia. In my free time I play quite a bit of video games but I also really enjoy going out and seeing and exploring new things, which I hope I'll be doing quite a bit of! I'm looking for a place where I'll be able to stay for a longer amount of time (6m+), as I'd like to be able to live relatively steady while I have a job. I really am not too fussed about how many people I live with or what they do, as long as they don't smoke inside. I'd also be fine living with any type of pet. As I'm not actually arriving to Australia until March 5th, meeting me before to see who/what I am might be difficult. However, I am totally down to Skype or whatever is suitable beforehand so that that neither of us have to go in blind.
I am a postgraduate student who is studying in ANU and would like to find a place which is near ANU. My friend, anlin, is also a postgraduate ANU student. We're easy going, friendly and tidy, who have a habit of cleaning regularly. We respect privacy and space.
Hi I'm a 42 year old professional guy, I run a UK software company and looking to move to Canberra to support some of our customers in AU and also see my daughters who live here with their mum (long story). I'm currently staying in an AirBnB place in Reid, but need to sort out something more permanent. I'm an easy going liberal. Keep my self to my self, though happy to mix and chat. I like movies, reading crime fiction and talking with interesting people. Not a party goer though love to chat with interesting people and generally friendly and easy to get on with. I work form home and don't have much stuff. I like a tidy and calm house and am very respectful of others and their space. I'm a lover of the outdoors and likely out running, walking or cycling (when I get a bike over here) when I'm not working.... working from home means I need to get a out a bit! I like to cook, especially for others, so occasional shared meals are cool. My daughters (age 6 and 10) are at school in Reid and might come over after school or on weekends sometimes. They're lovely girls, but if you can't stand children then we're probably not best flatmates. I'd ideally like a furnished, good sized room in Reid, Braddon, Civic area.... Finding the right people to share with can be harder than finding the right place, so definitely up for a team up to look for the right place if you reckon we could make food housemates. Totally understand that getting on is important, so happy to meet for a coffee or whatever to check before committing to anything. Anyway - if any of that sounds OK, then please consider me for a housemate. Thanks Stuart
I’m in my 5th year at ANU. I’m friendly, considerate and clean. Love having a chat over dinner etc but also understand the need for personal space. I try to keep busy and am out during the day but I love off days to cook and watch a tv show or three. I eat pretty healthy and enjoy going to the gym, yoga and hiking :) Since I’m from Sydney, I go back every few weeks during the weekend.
Hey! My name is Winsome and I am the housemate you are looking for! I currently live in Brisbane and am moving to Canberra from January to the end of March, possibly into April to complete an internship. I will be working 5 days a week and am looking for accommodation that is close to Civic. I am studying Peace and Conflict Analysis at the University of Queensland. Right now I'm living with 4 other girls in a sharehouse where I share all communal spaces and a bathroom. I am clean and tidy, always down for a chat, a movie, or some dinner, but also like to hang out in my room and watch Netflix. Look forward to hearing from you!
Heyo! I'm Evi. I'm looking for young girls around my age to share an apartment/house with now until May, and then July until possibly December. (I will be mostly at the Gold Coast May-July) I'm 17 years old and currently studying full time at CIT Reid. I am planning to move to America in late 2020 or early 2021, but this is going to be very difficult for me as I have always been extremely spoilt by my parents and they make it quite hard for me to be independent. That is something I am trying to work on. I think living by myself for a few months would be really good for me, especially with work and school to focus on. Anyway enough with the boring stuff! I'm easy going and pretty shy at first, but I love a good conversation and making friends. I am friendly, quiet, honest, trustworthy and funny (if you find me funny). I love video games, binge watching netflix, animals, fashion, food and music. I'm not into parties and I don't smoke or do drugs. I occasionally drink but don't get totally wasted. I'm not confrontational so I don't worry about me starting fights lol. Hope this sums we up well :)
I'm a quiet, easygoing person. Will do my own cooking and clean up after myself. Don't have pets of my own but am pet friendly. Have lived with many pets before. Happy to have a chat over a cup of tea but equally as happy to keep to myself.
I'm studying Curatorship and Arts at uni, and this should (finally) be my last year of study. I also work in Braddon and will be doing a few internships & gallery placements this year. I'm easy-going and ideally looking for a place where we enjoy each other's company but also our own space, keep shared spaces fairly tidy but overall relaxed and informal. Basically - I'm very flexible (except in yoga class where I can very inflexible, but I try).
I’m a 22-year-old working full time in Finance. I’m looking for a place urgently since my housemate has had to urgently move. I’m clean and tidy and keep to myself a lot but do occasionally enjoy socialising with friends. Value cleanliness and respect people's space. Currently living in an apartment in New Acton so apartment/unit living is not new to me. I grew up in QLD before moving to Canberra for uni.
I'm Margot. I'm 24 and French. I'm an easy going person who likes to clean up after myself, and I respect other tenants privacy and personal space. I'm a non-smoker. I love cooking - I will be happy to cook French meals for my roomate(s) to try. In my free-time I also enjoy working out, swimming, reading and traveling! I was raised in both French and English, I also speak Italian and a little bit of Spanish and German.
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
My boyfriend and I are looking for somewhere to stay whilst studying at ANU. We're both second year students however this will be my first in Canberra! We're originally from Perth and love travel, music and reading. I work in a bookstore whilst Nick juggles swimming teaching, McDonalds and Deliveroo shifts. Please consider us for your rental! We're both tidy, respectful and fun people!
Hi, I'm Eloise. I am starting my second year at ANU in International Relations and Languages. I am a tidy, quiet and independent roommate who minds her own business but also loves hanging out from time to time. My hobbies are Netflix, learning languages and being a style icon. I have wonderful parents who will be taking care of the rent, so that will not be a problem.
