I am a registered nurse at Calvary John James, have a busy lifestyle, very clean and tidy. Looking for a one bed flat or granny flat preferably in South Canberra.
I'm a friendly 30 year old female from Sydney, about to undertake an internship part-time at a government department from mid-July for two months. I am very easy going and enjoy meeting new people. I like to keep active and enjoy running, strength training and swimming. I love good food and good wine, and I definitely couldn't accomplish anything without coffee :)
I'm a young professional moving to Canberra from Perth to start a new role at EY. This will keep me pretty busy and allow you plenty of personal time and space. Given I'll be new to town I'm definitely looking to make some new friends. I love brunch, playing/watching sport and Netflix. Please get in touch if you're looking for a new housemate and think I'd be a good fit :) Brendan
I'm 23 and about to become a student (again!) at ANU. I like a beer and a chat, but also enjoy reading, craft, hiking and doing my own thing. I always do my share of the housework, but I'm not obsessively clean. I'm also vego, but am perfectly happy to live with meat-eaters! I'm happy with any rental from six months to a year.
We are a very nice, friendly, clean, tidy, responsible and also respectful of other's privacy. We are in our mid twenties. Thang will be finishing his PhD in Engineering in September and soon to be a full time researcher and mainly spends his time working interstate and overseas (at least 8 months a year away). Therefore, most of the time, you will share the place with me :D. I will be a postgrad student at ANU for 2 years. We are moving from Cambridge, UK to Canberra in July and hope to find a room (en suit is ideal or share bathroom with another person is fine) to share in an established apartment/ flat/ house (maximum 2-3 bedrooms). Or maybe we would like to team up with 1 or 2 people to share a 2-3 bedrooms apartment. We love travelling and have lived and been to many countries around the world, therefore we have lots of experience in sharing different cultures and lifestyles. I personally love cooking and doing craft (DIY), reading. We like keeping fit so we often go out for a run or a walk, go to gym and Thang plays soccer. We would love to sometimes share meals with others and have good chat in our spare time. We also consider to share the place with people who are friendly but do respect other's privacy, do not party and maybe someone we can become friends to hang out with rather than just housemates :D. We usually keep and clean our place very tidy and clean and possibly make it a place called home. Thang is from Adelaide and I am from Melbourne. We are very reliable, trustworthy people and make sure we pay rent on time. If you are interested, please imessage me (as I am still in the UK until 11th July) or email me via my email address.
I am set to move into ANU from Sri Lanka for postgraduate work for Semester II in August. My field is English. I am generally a quiet, lowkey type with a sense of privacy and cleanliness. Responsible and caring, as the occasion demands. Into literature and the arts. Good at maintaining boundaries, while being friendly. Interested in flatmates with similar or dissimilar interests.
Looking for some cool peeps to live with! Work in Civic so inner North would be great, but I'm fairly flexible. :) About me: - Moved the Canberra from Brisbane in August - INTJ - Tidy, but not OCD clean - Reliable with bills etc - Bearded - Chill AF - Not adverse to a couple of wines after work (and a few more on weekends) Who I’m looking to live with: - Preferably more than just one other person. But I don't mind living with just one person either. - People who are fun - People who are relaxed - People who are open to hanging out occasionally Place I’m looking for: - Location wise I’m looking at Civic, Inner North and anywhere close to Civic really. - Furnished (I’ve only got my own bedroom furniture as well as some kitchen stuff) - Heating/cooling (preferable) - Own bathroom (preferable) - Parking (preferable) - Built in wardrobe (preferable) - Internet Access (MUST) I'm pretty flexible around the place I live so if I sound like someone you could live with, and your place sounds perfect for me, let me know! The bf usually sleeps over a few nights a week so you'd need to be cool with that too 🏳️🌈 :) Cheers Luke
I want to rewrite this better.. but for now: I currently work in the offensive side of IT security, previously been in the startup/entrepreneur space, and am a polyglot developer by trade. I try to balance my tech side with getting out there and enjoying the finer sides of life, be that camping at a doof with friends, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba diving, trampolining, bouldering, etc. I have such a wide array of interests it's hard to list in a little box here. Open minded and pretty easy going with most things, evenings could equally be spent binging an interesting series as they could be philosophical discussions or hacking on some new project idea. Really looking for a perfect fit kind of housemate, and would sooner continue renting as just 2 than add someone who doesn't fit "for the sake of it". Relatively clean, but not going to get anal about a speck of dust here and there so long as it's not impacting on health/life (and we opt for getting a cleaner in monthly to ensure it doesn't become an issue, as it tends to end up in so many share houses). I follow a paleo'ish/bulletproof lifestyle, pretty but focus on health/wellness/performance, so someone that fits those ideals would be awesome. Interested in finding cool people on a similar wavelength of personal growth, development, fun and freedom; and realising that maybe the right fit is going to be further outside of our current circles. Jason's a teacher. Will probably get him to write some stuff for here later. If any of this piques your interest, reach out and let's chat, see if there is a match :)

i am Vivek, i am 22 male from India, I am easy going, simple and like to keep my place nice and tidy. I am coming to canberra this july to follow my passion for engineering in ANU. To describe my passion for engineering, I have 3 PATENTS and 2 Research Papers and many other achievements. I might sound nerd but i am not , to be honest I hate Studies and wish things would be more practical (not in India) than theoretical. I love to workout daily no matter what time of the day. Though, I am not a foodie or know how to cook but i am learning as i have just a month left for Australia and started cooking at-least for myself. i know only two languages Hindi and English.
I am a software developer working full time in the city. I currently live on campus at the ANU and looking to move out on or around the 15th of July as will be graduating. I am looking for long term accommodation options (at least 6 months). I don't smoke, have any pets, and I'm not the party type, or noisy. I'm clean and like a tidy home. I'm also friendly, down to earth, and likable. I like to have some personal space when I'm busy, and I respect that of others. That being said, I do like hanging out and watching Netflix or playing board-games. I also don't mind having a glass of wine and some dinner from time to time.
HI! Moving to Canberra from July 19 with work for at least 12 months from Brisbane and am looking for someone to live with! A few things you should know about me are that I'm a bit of a book nerd, I like to keep things neat and tidy and I always pay my bills on time. I am someone who enjoys company but I also like to have my personal space and while I enjoy going out for a drink, I can often be found at home on the couch with a book on a Saturday night. I will be bringing down all of my furniture from a 1bed apartment so am looking for an unfurnished place someone in or near the city. If you are interested in finding a place with me, or you have a room free, please send me a message!
Hello！I am Qingsong from China and I am a full–time graduate new student in ANU. I would like to focus on my study on weekdays and do some part–time jobs on weekend. I prefer a quite house instead of a party house. I can cook and love to make friends from different cultures！I have stayed in U.S for half a year as an exchange student. During that time, Ourdoor Adventure Club was my favourite! Nature was so beautiful and mysterious. There are also many places in Canberra waiting for me to explore!
Hey there, I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science very soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy, squeaky clean and a trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you! PS: I love both dogs and cats (although I'm allergic to cats) and I would strongly prefer a smoke-free house.
Hi, I'm Steph! I work in a cafe so I bring home bread and sandwiches all the time. I can be the breadwinner of the household. I study psychology and philosophy at ANU, and I love to chat about that sort of thing as well as politics, netflix shows, music and pretty much anything else. I'd like to move somewhere not too drama-filled and not too loud, but I also like to be sociable sometimes and get to know the people I'm living with. Send me a message if that sounds a bit like someone you'd like to live with! (:
I'm a Ph.D. student at the ANU studying Environmental Chem. I'm am a pretty active person who enjoys the outdoors, heading to the snow or beach whenever I can. I have lived in share houses for the last 3 years and college before that. Ideally, looking for a relaxed house, where everyone is happy for the occasional chill, but also respects others personal space. Some other info. I have a car so off-street parking would be preferred. I have some furniture that I can contribute to the house if required. Look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
Hey there! Moving out of my sharehouse in Hackett in July and looking for a room with some cool people :) Reasons why I reckon I'm great to live with: 1) Love to have conversations about everything. Seriously, from history/political events to the pineapple pizza debate (pro-pineapple btw), just pick a topic and go. 2) Aires; this month I will find a new beginning, so that's something 3) Banter game strong 4) Own a BBQ and cook some mean burgers (American mother, it's in my blood); can lend it to my friend if there's no space as well, no dramas. 5) Lived overseas (HK and Taiwan) for a collective 10 years before moving back to Australia for uni 6) Play a little bit of bass so any drummers/musicians in the house holla at your boy and lets jam 7) Spag bog is also in the repertoire 8) I'm very tall (can reach high shelves on request) 9) Mediocre at all things video game related 10) Board game fanatic (if you play chess, I'll wanna play all the time) 11) Queenslander I've lived in a few sharehouses before so I'm pretty well versed on the general etiquette (clean/tidy), but also know that each place is different and will go in with an open mind, keen to make some friends out of it cause if you can't be friends with the people you live with then that's just sucky. Send me a message if you think we'd get along and we can have a chat over a coffee/wine! Flexible with move in dates past July 1st
Hey, I am a 25-year-old male from Wollongong, looking for a place to live down in Canberra as I have just gotten a job in the public service. I am clean and tidy, and my curry and pulled pork skills are pretty damn fantastic. Huge fan of cricket, rugby, live music, movies, trivia, and doing absolutely nothing. I am looking for a share house (apartment/flat/treehouse) somewhere close to the city with people who are keen on having a chat, watching things, or just passing one another in the hallway with a tired hello. Love all (well most) people no matter what background, lifestyle, or sports team you follow. Please feel free to give me a message if you think you have a room that I would be keen on. Cheers.
