Hello, this is Anthony, an international student from China. I am 26 years old guy and this is my 5th year at Australia. Finished Bachelor of Marketing in Brisbane and Master of IT in Sydney. A respectful, easy going, tidy and clean guy. I am a big fan of music and reading in my leisure time. I like cooking and enjoy the cultural exchange ;) I will move to Canberra for studying and working at the end of May, so I am looking for a place where close to Canberra City (Braddon, Acton etc.) Get in touch!
Please Note: Move in date from mid-end May 2018. About Me: I'm a professional male who has shared for over 10 years (Gold Coast, (uni days), Canberra and Melbourne). I'm looking for a sociable house, but also like my own space/quiet time when needed, as I'm also studying my Masters PT. I'm returning to Canberra for work and am looking to get out and network.
Hey there. A bit about myself: My name is Mel, 25 years young and I've been in Canberra for the last seven years. Of those seven, I've lived in shared accommodation for five, and have yet to fail paying my rent on time. During the week, I work full-time in a consulting firms. In my spare time, I'm pretty fond of hiking, Netflix, cooking and checking out events at galleries. I consider myself to be a fairly career focused, courteous, neat and friendly person. While I don't have the expectation to become best mates, I also don't want to be living with a complete stranger. I'd love to have a chat over coffee and see if we are well-suited housemates. If things pan out, I'm looking to make things happen quickly. I have a few listings in mind already. Let me know if you're keen. Thanks!
hi all,I am a student studying in ANU, and I am a quite easy-going, friendly, sociable and well-behaviour person. Most time I stay at university, and I am tidy and quiet at home. Moreover, I like cooking and watching movie, and it will be nice to enjoy with my flatmates while weekends or any spared time.
Hello! I'm a 23-year-old uni student, moving to Canberra from the Sunshine Coast to study at ANU next year. Looking for a friendly, like-minded person to share a flat with in Braddon or somewhere close to uni. Looking for a tidy person who doesn't mind a Netflix binge or having a few drinks over dinner but also appreciates personal space. I keep a busy life as I like to keep active, study full-time and work part-time. I am really easy going and good at being tidy, making margaritas, paying rent on time and respecting others space.
Heyy!! I’m Samrat Saha, an Indian International student pursuing Master in Finance at the Australian National University. I encourage a healthy living environment by my friendly, communicative and cooperative nature. I am a fun loving person & like to socialise with people across the world. I am generally easy going, well-mannered & a very positive person of integrity. Well talking about my hobbies, I perform martial arts and enjoy dancing. I am a sports person and like watching & playing all kind of sports especially football. I encourage cleanliness and also understand the importance of privacy. I sternly believe in ‘Be a giver, not a taker’.
Originally from Melbourne, I'm a public servant looking for a homey share house close to work. As a housemate, I'm generally reserved but like to chat and have friends over occasionally. Our idea of fun is board games over coffee. In the week I tend to stay out and keep busy in the evenings, and I usually spend weekends at home doing chores. I might make a bit of noise with my acoustic guitar occasionally, other hobbies are soccer, reading and (surprise) Netflix (not a surprise). I value house etiquette and when everyone shares the load with cleaning and house management. Indeed, I'm at a stage in my life where a pile of dirty dishes bother me. Looking for 6 months or longer, the longer the better I suppose. Happy to answer queries, can be flexible for inspection times :)
Hello! My name is Anuja, I am from Bangalore, India. Currently doing my master's at ANU. I am looking for a place to stay starting in June/July for at least 6 months (will mostly extend that to more than a year). I am looking for a room in a share house/flat. Please get in touch with me if you have anything available or if you just want to know more about me...
Hey! I'm Amanda, 21, originally from Sydney. I'm studying a Master's degree full-time at ANU and working part-time. Looking for a place quiet enough to study but with friendly roommates to chill with. Message me if you're interested!
I (and many) would characterise me as a sensible, respectable, responsible individual. I enjoy conversing with my flatmates over a glass of wine, like to watch Netflix and respect my housemates' independence and privacy. Professional, postgrad educated. Last but not least, neat and tidy and can cook an outstanding goulash :)
Hi! I'm a third year ANU student and part-time staffer looking for a sharehouse for when I get back from exchange in July. I'm looking for a friendly and social group of roommates who enjoy having a chat and sharing an occasional meal together, while of course respecting the need for personal space. I'm pretty easygoing, considerate and tidy. I love travel, hiking, the occasional game of tennis and healthy baking. While I'm often quite busy between uni and part-time work, I'm always up to share activities like these when there's time! Move in date flexible :) Feel free to get in touch!
Hi! I'm Roshen from Sri Lanka. I'll be studying at ANU mid-June 2018 onwards and I intend to work on a part-time basis. I have attended few international conferences and have worked with people from different nationalities and cultures, I have been able to move along with them easily. Therefore, I have no trouble in mingling with people from different backgrounds and I am sociable and friendly. I am the sort who won't trouble anyone and prefer helping whenever needed. I value peace of mind and hence, am neat and organized. I love listening to classical music and a fan of swimming.
I am a 21 year old student from Newcastle with a Netflix Subscription. I'm looking for a place to call home while I complete my International Business degree at ANU. I work a full time job trading commodities so I keep pretty busy. Most of my free time at the gym or playing games. I speak 5 languages and I am learning Arabic in Uni. I'm not a loud person and I don't drink or smoke. I am a car nut and own an Audi RS6 that I love more than most relatives. As such it pains me to park it on the street, underground parking would be ideal. I'd prefer to move into a place as soon as possible but I'm down to team up and get a place with some other people.
HI! My name is Brad, i have just moved back to Canberra from Sydney while i put my masters on hold. I have a part time job with good income and might be starting up Uni again in 6 months (at ANU). I am an easy to get a long with persons who understands personal space and keep my thing tidy. I enjoy both keeping to myself around the house and interacting with house mates equally, and can make friends fairly easily. I am fairly nerdy, i like to play role playing games such as Dungeons and dragons, and also play board games with my mates regularly. Though i also love the outdoors and enjoy walks in parks and going to to beach as often as i can.
I have recently graduated from ANU and I currently work part-time in the city. I'm from the South Coast, so love swimming and the beach. I also enjoy reading and going to see some live music when possible. I am a nice, tidy, friendly person who is always up for a chat/dinner/drinks/board games but I also like some time to myself. I currently live in a sharehouse in Ainslie, which I've been in for a few years so I know all the ins-and-outs of shared living and how to have a great time without stepping on toes!
Hi, I am fifty six and get along with people of all ages; most of my friends are in their thirties. I have lived in few share places, with some friends and also did some house-sitting over the last four years. I like to socialise and spend time with friends. I plan to do study next year. In the past I have done counselling, retail, public service work as well as self-publishing five books on Amazon. I like music gigs, art and movies and I guess you could call me a spiritual person. I have been involved in the LGBTQI community and also with the Refugee Action Committee. I am just overcoming chronic fatigue and I have a peripheral vision loss but am quite functional. I hope to find the right people in the right place. Thank you.
I'm an American PhD student visiting the ANU. I promise I didn't vote for Trump! I like to travel, read boring books, and do almost anything involving dogs (not bringing one with me, but if you have one that's a plus). People say I'm pretty easy-going and low-maintenance. If you're nice, not disastrously messy and say hello from time to time I'm sure we'll get along. I've found a place to stay until May 27th, so I'm looking for a rental that starts about that time and goes until April 15th. Furnished is best, and I'll pay you loads of money if you're on a rapid line or within walking distance of ANU. (Changing buses in winter is the worst)!
Hey there! I am a young female relocating from Adelaide to Canberra due to a job opportunity. I am an easy going person who is super neat and tidy. I respect personal space but would also really love to share a house with someone who is happy to help me with settling in Canberra. I love music, yoga, and reading amongst other things!
I will be starting my Masters in International Relations at Australian Nation University during the second semester of July 2018. I am looking for a roommate that can share an apartment together! I'm an American who will just finish their B.A in Rome (I have studied there), so I am really excited to see what Australia has to offer.
