Hi, I'm Kaz, I work full-time for Brisbane City Council on a varied roster basis. 8 years ago I transitioned from the military back into civilian life after 7 years service and have been living in Brisbane since then. I frequent my local gym either before or after work. On weekends I like to get outdoors (hiking and/or camping) or relaxing with friends. I'm a pretty easy-going person and am very easy to live with, cooperation and consideration are values that are important to me when sharing a home with others. I enjoy living in a clean and tidy environment and always clean up after myself (good military discipline), although I'm not a neat freak and am pretty relaxed and flexible with sharing household chores etc... I am tidy and respectful of shared spaces. I hold integrity, respect and honesty in high regard as these are values that I continually strive to embody. I like to eat relatively healthily and prefer to prepare my own meals, although I do enjoy having the occasional meal or drink together. I have no pets but I do have a weakness for cats, they make me melt. I am looking for flatmates who are considerate, kind, cooperative and can communicate well. Hello! Charlie (2 year old King Charles Cavalier) and I are looking for a place to call home! I am a teacher working full time. I am originally from Portland, Oregon but have lived in Australia since 2016. I enjoy travel, the beach, taking Charlie to the dog park, and music. I am fairly lowkey at this stage of my life, I like to cook and host my friends where possible for drinks/dinner. I don't go out much but am fairly social. I am eager to find kind a housemate who is mature, ideally over 25, easy going but clean and organized and well-versed in sharing space. I would prefer to live with just one other person but am open to other arrangements for the right fit and space. My biggest pet peeve is passive aggression and I am hoping to find a housemate that is open in their communication and an equal shareholder in the house. I have my own furniture but can keep it in storage if required as I plan to go overseas in December. Charlie is a lovable, adorable puppy who is toilet trained, social, confident and loves company and cuddles. I take her on walks twice a day and my housemates have always said she’s very easy to live with. I also only have her half time as she’s shared with an ex partner.. My ideal roommate will love on her and enjoy her company, be comfortable with dogs etc. so that it isn’t stressful for either of us! We’d love a yard as well so that perhaps when you are home and I am not she can still roam free, but this isn’t a deal breaker.
