This house is positioned on top of a hill, has awesome views across Newcastle, and receives a breeze right through the house in an afternoon. It's in a fantastic location only being a short 10 minute walk to Westfield Kotara, and an even shorter walk to the Fernleigh Track that attached to Glenrock reserve! It's also only a 10 minute drive to the beach :) The house is very spacious and there are plenty of spots to hang out. (We're talking 4 different living spaces, no joke) There's also an outdoor seating area enclosed with fly screen - perfect for eating dinner outside and watching the sunset. There's also a POOL! And heaps of space to entertain outside. The cost of the bills (internet, water, gas and electricity) are all shared equally amongst the household. Room 1 is upstairs and has the most beautiful lighting in the afternoons. It also has a wall of built-in robes. High ceilings and just has a generally nice large space vibe about it. The person moving into this room will share a bathroom (upstairs) with only 1 other person. (photos coming soon) Room 2 is downstairs and has a walk-in-robe! The room can fit a queen size bed (king could also fit) and a desk too if need be. There's a desk that you're welcome to have if you'd like it, but it currently sits in the space outside this downstairs room. This room gets the beautiful morning light through the window that is next to the pool. If you're outdoorsy and active (like myself who is moving out), you'll find it handy that there's a crossfit gym, a rock climbing gym, and many other useful venues down the road and only a minutes walk away! Please feel free to send a message to ask any questions!
Currently deferring uni and working training barista's and driving for UberEATS on the side. I'm an easygoing housemate who appreciates time alone to work on creative stuff and workout amongst other things but also love having a chat, cooking up a storm and sharing some wine. Looking for some like minded active and motivated people to share a place with.
My name is josh, I am a 27 year old carpenter. I play alot of sport also so i am not around a great deal through the week. Not sure if you were looking in the area of adamstown heights. But i am currently chasing a roommate. I live in a house currently by myself and rent will be 200 per week. Which is 100m from the fernleigh track, short walking distance to westfield shopping centre. It takes around 5 minutes or less to get to merewether beach also if you want to be sort of close to the beach. It is a nice house, I do have 2 large dogs but they are very people friendly and will obey anyones commands. There is a large yard but i will keep up with all the yard maintenance and we can just share the inside work equally also. There is 2 bathrooms and 2 loungerooms also if you want or need your own space
I’m a full time social worker, I love to have a few drinks every now and then, and be social in my downtime. I’m pretty quiet mon-Friday’s after work and respectful. I’m pretty laid back, easy going and enjoy catching up with housemates and cooking dinner together sometimes ☺️ Looking for some equally chill and happy people to live with around the same age.
Hi, I'm Paul and I work in community services. I have a well behaved indoor only Himalayan cat. I stay away for work for 7 days straight out of every 21 and my cat comes to work with me. I pick up shifts locally in my time off. I'm a tidy, respectful housemate and in my free time I like surfing, guitar, musical compostion, cooking and gardening. I have excellent references and a good income.
Moving to the Newcastle area mid June and pretty flexible on a lease from 6-12 months. I am a fun, easy going person who doesn't mind a cold bev or two. I have lived in shared living pretty much my whole life from boarding school, to uni and other shared living on GAP etc. I am respectful of other people property and understand the need for space but also like to have a good time.
Hey future roomies, I'm Jess, I'm a 3rd year Radiation Therapy student at UON and work casually in childcare. I love hanging out with my mates, going to the gym, the beach, being outdoors really haha 🌿 🌻🌟🌈 I'm super clean and always tidy up after myself. Live off broccoli and quinoa during the week but don't mind a sneaky bev on the weekend lol. Looking to move into an already established share house! Message me if you think I'd be a good fit to yours! :)
I’m a clean person. I keep my space clean and whenever I use something I put it back and clean it. I work full time at Charlestown as an apprentice baker at bakers delight, and for fun I like to hang out with friends and go fishing most the time. I’m looking for a room to rent for at least longer then 12 months
Hi, I'm Bronte, I work in mental health research and spend my free time painting, being active and outside in nature. I am tidy and friendly, but respect space as well. Looking for a place with good humans and good vibes. 🌿 🌻🌟🌈
I am a clean respectful male from india. I am 28 years old and I am currently working full time in Sydney ,I am a chef, currently, I am in Sydney, moving to Kotara next month mid- june and will be working at Westfield Kotara ,therefore looking for room to rent in Kotara or nearby.
Hey! I'm Gemma. I'm studying a double degree in Law & Communications at UON and working casually at Greater Bank. I am pretty busy, but in my spare time I love exploring some local events (markets etc) and hitting up the beach! I've lived in Newcastle since Feb 2017 and have loved every minute of it since! I lived on campus for the first two years and I am currently in a share house (so I have plenty of experience living with people). The share house I'm living in now just isn't what I had hoped it would be. I am pretty outgoing and social and I am after a house and housemates that share the same values. I love 'family dinners', movie nights and MAF's marathons (a guilty pleasure... don't judge lol) and would love to have housemates with the same interests. Although I'm pretty crappy at making my bed in the morning, I'm generally pretty tidy, especially in common spaces. I love plants, candles and anything that can make the house a home! I've got all the furniture I need for my bedroom. It would be ideal if the remainder of the house was furnished but I could possibly contribute some items here and there if necessary. If your house is one where the housemates just chill in their rooms on their own then it won't be a good fit. This is the main reason I'm wanting to leave my current share house. Obviously though, I respect that sometimes people just want to take a nap or read a book! Ps. The dog in the photo is my family dog, he won't be coming with me (unfortunately).
