Hi! I'm moving to Adelaide from New Zealand for a PhD in Film/Gender Studies early next year. I'm looking for a place to stay when I arrive and for at least my first few months of study. I am looking at moving around Jan/Feb but can be flexible and can start paying rent sooner for the right place! I'll be studying and working at Flinders University and won't have a car, so I'm looking for somewhere in the city or near to the university if possible.
I'm an independent and clean person who generally likes home to be a place to relax, so I'll keep to myself and be pretty quiet around the house most of the time. That said, I'm also going to be brand new to Adelaide, so would love to get to know my housemates during weekends or evenings if we share a similar vibe.
These are my ideals for a flat, but I am totally flexible and will be grateful for any leads on a place to set up as home when I get to Adelaide. Please reach out if you have anything that might work :) I am flexible on price and move-in date for the right place. Only non-negotiable is that I won't share a bedroom (shared bathroom ok!). I would much prefer a room with at least some natural light, but open to other options!
