Hi, I'm Raeychale, I'm from Wagga Wagga, and will be moving to Canberra to start studying full time at ANU, as a science undergraduate. I practice martial arts, love travelling and spending time with friends. I'm friendly and easy going, and clean up after myself. I'd love to find someone who wouldn't mind getting to know each other, and spend some time watching a movie or catching a bite to eat in our free time. But at the same time, I know everyone has busy lives, so i value some quite time too. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hi! I'm a 4th year student at ANU, also work part time. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people. Pretty chilled out and always happy to socialise and hang together but also value individual space and privacy when needed. I love hiking, running, watching netflix/movies and pretending to be a good gardener. Always down for sneaky bevs at the end of the day or sitting on the couch watching a movie.
Brazilian graphic designer living in Canberra. I love riding my bicycle, spending time outdoors, having deep conversations, watching comedies and reading about life. I also love music and going to live gigs. I like keeping fit, eating healthy whenever I can, as well as indulging in junk food every now and then. Don’t smoke and rarely drink. Anything else you need to know, just ask :)
Sunny Ainslie house Hi, we are looking for someone friendly to share with us from around the 14th November as our lovely housemate will be returning to Italy. The furnished house has a bright north facing lounge, two bathrooms and gas cooking. We’re well looked after in winter and summer with central gas heating and evaporative cooling. The outdoor areas have gardens and space to recline or entertain. The house is close to everything with Ainslie shops and Braddon within walking distance, bus-stops close by and Mt Ainslie just up the road. The room can be partly furnished or unfurnished as you need.
I'm a lawyer and am working full time in the federal public service. I'm an independent, clean, respectful and friendly person. My interests are travel, history, politics, languages, learning new things, trying new restaurants and cafes here, spending time at the beach and walking (around and outside Canberra).
Hello! After four years as a public servant I’m finally making the move from Brisbane to Canberra In Jan 2019 for a policy role. My move date is flexible from mid December as I’m super keen to find great people to live with! I’m an experienced sharehouser (total 6 years), and considerate and tidy when it comes to common spaces. I’m happy to chat/hang/go on some adventures with housemates, but also pretty independent and like to keep busy out of the house with socialising, gym, lots of walks etc. I’m a dietary vegan (for sustainability reasons - I’m very chill re other people’s lifestyles!) and love cooking delicious veggie based dishes, so a decent kitchen is a must. Other interests include filling the house with bright colours and pretty pot plants, collecting posters from my favourite art exhibitions, literature, and Gorman. I’ll try to visit Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane regularly to see friends and family and soak in whatever cultural things are happening. Once I’ve settled in Canberra I’ll probably transfer to ANU and keep chipping away at my postgrad coursework degree. I’ve accumulated most of the furniture and appliances needed to furnish a house/apartment, some good quality kitchenware etc. so teaming up to start a new share house is a definite option. Please send me a message if you think I sound like a good fit for your existing or new share house. Can’t wait to chat!
Hello! I am looking for a new place to call home :-) I am in my 30's, a health orientated, environmentally conscious vegan, living an intentional life :-) I try to live low-impact and low-toxic. I am enthusiastic about the voluntary simplicity movement, co-operatives and the share-economy! I love being surrounded by beauty and simplicity in my home :-) I want to live in a peaceful and harmonious environment, one that is conducive to creative and yogic practices. I am a social introvert--warm and friendly, but recharge my energy with alone time. I work in the Cultural sector, and as a Creative Arts therapist, (and I try to have my own art-practice as well).
I'm a bright bubbly person with a positive attitude who's a craft beer nut and loves music. I'm looking for housemates that enjoy the occasional cup of coffee or dinner together but also respect privacy. Ideally I'm hoping to sublet a room as I've recently moved out of another house and into temporary furnished accommodation so have sold all of my furniture. Anything north of civic that's not past North Lyneham would be ideal and a minimum of two months. As a housemate I'm neat and tidy and always pay bills on time. For any more information please feel free to contact me!
I am a postgraduate student from ANU, I am easy-going, but would like to keep my place tidy. I am a soccer fan. I binge watch TV series, I like to chat every now and then, also I am from India and know how to cook, so you can enjoy Indian delicacies occasionally.
Hey future roomie! As you'd probably already established, I'm Georga, I am 25 years young (old) and am currently living in Bonner (the end of the world 😭) I moved to Canberra almost 2 years ago and absolutely adore it here. I work in construction full time. I like a drink, and love nothing more than cutting loose on weekends (I start work super early during the week so no late nights for this Grandma) I am a very social person and would like entertaining friends on the weekends with BBQ's and wines. Reason for moving is wanting to be closer to work (lyneham) so inner north is preferred. I come with bedroom furniture a BBQ and an outdoor lounge setting. Parking is a must. Bonus points for a dog! About you: I would love to live in a sociable, friendly and generally happy household. X
Hi there, I’m Kirsten. I’ve lived in our nations capital for nearly two years and have a full time government gig. In my spare time I play sport, cook, cycle, hike and read. I’m eager to find a friendly and respectful household.
Hi, I'm Monique and I'm a 48 year old nurse who has just re-located from Sydney. I'll be starting work as a registered nurse at the new Civic Blood Plasma Donor Centre on 22nd October. I'll be doing shift work (different start and finish times) but no night shifts, some Saturdays. I love outdoor exercise and fitness, walking, cooking and enjoy going to the theatre and museums. I'm clean and tidy and respect the privacy of those I live with. I understand the importance of downtime and appreciate others wanting their "me time" but also happy to have a chat.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 27 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself - I also have no issue with cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn on a 40 degree day! I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. As I own a bike storage or garage space would be great! My current lease expires mid Jan, so I would be looking to move any time around then. Look forward to hearing from you!
I am studying computer science and maths, and will be doing an internship with the Australian Signals Directorate. I am a really easy going and easy to get along well with. My hobbies include listening to music, gymming and boxing. I'm am a social person so I wouldn't mind finding some flatmates I can hang out with.
Hi! I'm an easygoing and social young professional working in Civic. In my free time I'm usually hiking, baking or trying to learn Serbian. I'm very considerate of privacy and personal space but am also open to catching up and chatting over a drink after work. I'm neat and tidy, have no pets or kids, and look forward to hearing from you!
I am easy going, laidback, friendly and respectful :) I am into getting outdoors ( currently into horseriding and exploring national parks), music and the environment. I am also from Sydney originally and love going to the beach, so am planning a few batemans bay trips and often go back to sydney ( also happy to share the drive!). By day i’m an occupational therapist and by night i’m a netflix person, or try and be active and get to the gym. I am happy to socialise or give your your own space. I believe people should feel safe and comfortable where they live and that it is really important for a house to work, so if you believe the same thing and hit me up!
I'm a fourth year student studying Asian Studies/IR at ANU. I'm super friendly, and a pretty busy person who has always studied and worked. I respect others' space and enjoy chill times at home. I'm flexible, reliable and love meeting new people :)
I am a graduate starting a full-time role in February next year-- relocating from Wollongong. I am a friendly, easygoing person who loves to travel and read. Will be travelling from December to January so would ideally like to move at the end of January or early February.
I am a busy, full time professional. I am friendly, tidy in shared spaces and outgoing. I have a good rental history and pay everything on time. I enjoy hiking and Netflix. I am looking for an easy going person who would enjoy an occasional pizza or brunch.
I'm a super friendly, well educated guy with progressive values and great cooking skills. I can keep to myself, but can also be a blast to hang out with. I'm respectful, and quiet when I need to be. I work at JB HI FI in the city, I'm good at most things IT, I love dogs and movies, coffee and food.
