Hello Everyone I will be pursuing my masters from Australian National university from july 2019. I am looking for a share housing in walking distance to university from july 2019. The rent preference is 150 -200 $per week including utilities .(if possible) Happy to have furnished room Thank you
I am stereotypical Canberran who is addicted to coffee, yoga and works in the public service. I volunteer at the RSPCA walking the dogs so i always have cute videos and photos to share. I am heading to the NT from the 11th to the 26th of April so i won't be able to move in until late April, early May but happy to start paying earlier. I'm keen to move into a social house, by that I don't mean a party house (i have had that experience before and I'm not keen to do it anymore haha) I just like sharehouses that are like a home instead of feeling like you are just renting the room. My friend's and I take it in turns to have Sunday night dinners and play board games. I also enjoy a beer in the sun but much more likely to have afternoon beers than party until the sun comes up. Feel free to contact me with any other questions :)
Hey there, my name's Ethan and i'm looking for a new bunch of legends to live with! I work full time as a carpenter, but like to spend my free time taking trips down to the coast, riding the mountain bike or enjoying the company of my friends. I've been living in different share house configurations for the last few years, but as I'm sure you know, things change and people move on. I'm very tidy, respectable, and punctual with rent/bill payments. I can provide roomie references from any of my previous share houses if needed!
Hello there! I'm a 21 year old aspiring Earth Scientist who will be in Canberra for 3 months from May to July to take on an internship at the ANU. I'm into reading novels, watching TV shows, game a bit and enjoy travelling and just generally like going to new places. I keep clean (most of the time), don't smoke, and will respect your privacy. I am currently looking for a place at not too far a distance from the ANU. Basic amenities like Internet, Washer and a Kitchen would be necessary. Open to sharing rooms should such a circumstance arise. Also, I'd be staying for 3 weeks from 6th-26th July. If you're easy going and are kinda into the same things I am, then we will get along pretty well!
Hi, I'm Sean. I doing my masters in public policy at ANU. I also work part-time for software firm based in Berlin (remotely). I hail from Adelaide originally, but I spent the last 8 years in London and Berlin. I love cycling, theatre and film - and German beer. Oh and I'm a non-smoker and a vegetarian. Look forward to meeting you!
I'm an active, social, respectful, non-smoking, young professional looking for some cool flatmates. Veteran of many a share house, I'm clean, tidy and always up for a chat/drink after work or netflix binge. Work in the public service and enjoy hiking, travel and catching up with friends. Can move in earlier although end of July would be my preference. Happy to discuss in person
My name is Trent, I am 20 years old and I am looking for a room. I work part-time currently at Coles in Tuggeranong whilst I decide between studying nursing at Uni or joining the Military. I am looking to move as soon as possible, hope to here from you soon. cheers, Trent
Hello Flatmates! I've been in Canberra for about 8 years now on and off between uni and work. I work full time in Watson at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in IT and I spend most of my spare time Bouldering, Rock climbing, hiking, slack-lining, or getting out to gigs! Though if I'm indoors you'll likely find me with my guitar, or curled up drinking tea and reading a book or watching ted talks. Yo hablo un poco espanol, I love to cook, I have a gorgeous 6yo RSPCA rescue ridgeback x greyhound called Ollie who is an absolute joy, I dream of tiny living out of a bus one day, I play guitar (and sometimes badly sing), I follow a vegan diet (but I never judge anyone about what they eat - it's a personal choice for me), and I also study on the side all that. I'm looking for a house/to team up with a vibe that's chill and occasionally social but not a party house! I'm quite independent and busy during the week splitting my time between hobbies, sports, my girlfriend, and study during semester means I'm usually short on time but on the occasions that I do have free time I love to hang out, share a meal and a glass of red, play board games, watch trashy Netflix, or have good conversations about anything and everything. I'd like to move somewhere with a yard for Ollie and somewhere my girlfriend and I can split our week between. We're both really busy and we currently spend 2-4 nights a week with each other but split that between each others places so that it's not overwhelming for either of our share houses! I'd also ideally like a 6-8 month lease as there is a possibility I could be moving early next year! I'm pretty flexible with move dates of the next month - Ideally I'd like to move after the 27th of June and before the 12th of July but totally happy to start paying rent earlier for the right place! Would be keen to team up and start a share house if the timing works out and I'm looking at a few places in the inner north area! :) Hope to hear from you! Cheers, Chris
Hey, My name is Rohit and I feel like a Canberra veteran as I've survived three winters. I am currently developing, designing and strategising content for the ANU College of Business and Economics. I like to do a lot of things ranging from being a bookworm in a library to going out on Friday nights until the sun comes up. Running and playing soccer on Sundays are regular routines. For my future flatmates, I am a senior resident at Student Lodge for two years. So, I'm trustworthy, organised and can save you if there's a fire :p Anyway, would love to discuss more about my house habits and to learn about your house rules. Best wishes.
Easy going, friendly and self sufficient! Looking for a place for around 6+ months from end July. Prefer to own bathroom and stay with one other person! I am a Coeliac so kitchen hygiene is essential!
