I've just returned to Canberra after living abroad for 4 years. I love travelling, the outdoors and playing sport. I am clean and respect personal space but also like a bit of down time with my housemates, especially after a long week.
Originally from Newcastle, i'm moving to Canberra to study my Masters so i'm looking for some roomies who are pretty relaxed and not super rowdy as i will need P&Q for study. I'm a clean and tidy 23yo female who loves cooking and having people over. Pets are cool as long as it is not a cat.
Hi, I'm a quiet, clean and respectful full time accountant. I've lived in three prior share houses and very conscious of personal space. I like science, reading, Reddit, gaming and watching way too many TV shows/movies.
I am 21 and am in my 3rd year of studying Communications in Media and Public Affairs at UC. I love the gym, hiking and dog memes. I am sociable but also like my own time. Very clean, tidy and considerate. I love a good cup of tea, glass of wine and a chat but also respect private time! I have a small dog who is house trained, easy to live with and just wants love!
Hi there, I am moving up to Canberra in early Jan to work as an Osteopath. I am relocating from Melbourne to make the most of the opportunity I am 24 years old and as you can tell from my profession I love sport. Yes, that means you are more then welcome to tag along on snow trips or anything else There is nothing better than good company and people so I would be happy to explore Canberra with you. I enjoy having a cheeky beverage whilst watching Netflix or heading to a bar for a dance. I do also value respecting everyones privacy and maintaining a clean and tidy living area. I am pretty easy going and fully support good banter and humour. I am ideally looking to share an apartment or flat with another person. Happy to split dinners, washing etc Please feel free to get in touch with me
Characteristics that make me a pretty good housemate - easygoing, well-travelled, like to keep things clean, enjoy my own company, sensitive to others, bring good energy to my space, respectful of others, good humour, good cook. Note - I have a 6yr old daughter who will be staying with me every few days. I'm looking for a peaceful environment without dramas or conflict, as her safety and comfort is my priority. Of course, I can plan in advance not to have my little one around when the house is planning parties/events that may not be suitable for kids.
I'm 40 and just returned to Canberra after three years living in Sydney. Originally from NZ, but lived in Canberra from 2011-2014. I work in media and communications. I like to go for walks (including some pretty lengthy ones), head to pub trivia and play golf. I think I'm a very considerate person to live with and am happy to have a chat or keep to myself depending on my housemate's preference and/or state of mind on a given day. FYI, I found a housemate online when I moved to Canberra back in 2011 and we remain very close friends today. Hoping to find an equally awesome housemate this time around. Let me know if you're keen to catch up for a coffee -- or something stronger. Gavin

Hi there! I'm Tash, I'm going into my last semester of a Bachelor of International Relations at ANU, and will be commencing a Masters program in July 2018 while working part-time. I am currently as a primary school support/admin assistant and a swim coach/pool supervisor (if you haven't already guessed, I love working with kids). I am often found roaming Canberra's latest coffee hotspots, working or at the gym, but I also love to relax with a cup of tea, and I have an obsession with the Lifestyle Home channel that doesn't reaaaaally seem to fit with my age, oh well. I like to be organised, which helps my productivity and mindspace, and I will always contribute to making the house clean, tidy and well cared-for. I am easygoing and willing to chat, but I also value privacy and personal space. If it sounds like I may be a good fit as your next housemate, please send me a message! I am also keen on teaming up with up to two other likeminded people to find our perfect place!
Hello, After living in Melbourne for a few months, I decided to return to Canberra my work and studies in more quite environment. I'm in final year of my research degree and working part-time on the side. My favourite show is The Walking Dead. I haven't missed an episode since 2012. I'm yet to catch on to Game of Thrones. I consider myself a very organised person. During my stay in Australia and overseas, rent was always paid on time. I'm always happy to help around the house when needed. Please don't hesitate to contact me. Look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Terryel
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people to share a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
The space is part of a townhouse in a small and quiet complex. The suburb (Ainslie) is safe, with established homes and a landscape that is very attractive. Mt Ainslie is within walking distance and well worth a visit (locals walk up regularly to get a bird's eye view of our beautiful city).
I am a postdoc research at ANU. I am looking for a bedroom with ensuite. My budget is flexible, up to $400, which all depends on the room and location. I am also flexible about the location. Since I have a car, I prefer a place with off-street parking. My move-in date is also flexible. Anytime between Dec. 20 to Jan. 10 will work. I don’t have much furniture, but I’d like to buy some pieces for the share house, such as fridge, laundry machine, or TV. I usually work from 9am to 5pm every day. I love my research work. My main research is in corporate finance. However, I just don’t want to think about my research work when I am outside ANU :-) In my spare time I enjoy watching sports and movies. Recently, I am a little addictive to British Crime TV Shows, such as Lewis and Midsomer Murders. I also love outdoor activities. I play tennis, basketball, and footy 7s. In addition, I like traveling. In 2018, I plan to go to the US, China, or Italy for a couple of weeks. Feel free to contact me if you think I am a suitable roommate in your share house.
Our home is across the road from Mt Ainslie nature reserve and is a short walk to local shops, quick cycle or reasonable walk to the city and close access to buses. We have a warm and friendly homey home. We have interests in art, environment, politics, movement, self-development and cultural exchange etc. We tend not to watch much tv and would probably not be suitable for someone who is a large watcher. We value direct and thoughtful communication with each other and would expect that from people staying. We also value everyone contributing to keeping things around the house functional and the communal spaces clean and tidy :) We have two rooms going. The first, which is available from Dec 22, is is a large furnished spacious downstairs room. There is a comfy bed and loungesuite, private toilet, modest kitchenette (kettle and toaster provided) and direct access to back courtyard. There is central heating in the main house which we use thoughtfully however it doesn't extend downstairs so be prepared for a bit of chill, which is delightful over summer! The second room, available from Jan 7 is at the other end of the scale, and is cosy and quite central to the main part of the house. It currently has a double bed in it, built in robe, shelf and small desk. It's quite a sweet room which has been loved by all it's inhabitants however is best suited to someone who is a solid sleeper as sound-proofing in the room isn't great. UPDATE Please note: The owners will be reclaiming the house in March. SUITABLE FOR SHORT-TERM only
I work full time for Federal Government and I've been in Canberra since Feb this year. I am single, I stick to my room and am a considerate, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I don't eat meat. I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I also have a 9 month old kitten, who is a total sweetheart. I keep a tidy home. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic. Ideally I am looking for a housemate that is around my own age or older. If you feel like we'd work as housemates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra early in the new year to start a new job. I'm a journalist, and outside work I follow sport (especially AFL and cricket), love reading and Netflix, eat a fair bit of brunch. I've been in sharehouses for many years, so I know how to clean up after myself, and know when is a good time to chat/leave people to themselves.
I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start a graduate role with the ACTPS. I like cooking, sewing, singing, and movies. I'm usually pretty busy in Melbourne, and I'm hoping to find some new hobbies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have furniture in Melbourne which I am happy to bring with me if needed (including all whitegoods). I also have a two year old indoor cat that I would like to bring with me, but who may also stay in Melbourne with my brother for the time being. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space.
Well I guess I'm pretty easy to get along with, I clean up after myself, and I'm nothing bad (eg racist, masogonist, homophobe, animal abuser etc). I graduated from the ANU and am now a permanent public servant, I like fitness, music, reading, sports, laughter, cleanliness, meeting new people, travel, and friends. I could go on but I'll leave it at that :) Jake :)

Hello potential housemates! I've just moved home from London after a few years and I'm moving to Canberra for work. I'm looking for a comfortable flat with excellent housemates. I like living in a friendly home, but i'm the first to recognise the importance of having time to yourself. I'm easy to live with, I like things clean and tidy, and I have terrific taste in Netflix. Get in touch!
