Hi there. I am a 24 year old medical student, Sydney born and raised. I am coming back to the city after a year studying in the country (Dubbo) and looking for a place to call home. A bit about me - I'm easy going, tidy, friendly, always up for a chat, and have lived in share houses around the inner west for a few years now (My cooking skills are improving, I promise). I play the bass but often run my amp through headphones to save everyone. Looking for some friendly housemates and good conversation. I need enough space for a desk and a quiet place to study, that's about it!
Hi, I'm Emma! I'm 26 years old and originally from Scotland but have been living in Australia for the last 2 years. I work in a medical recruitment firm in the Surry Hills area, and I am on a 457 visa so I am looking for somewhere a bit more permanent that I can settle into and feel at home! I'm pretty laid back during the week but like to get out and do things at the weekends. I like being as productive as possible! I'm always up for meeting new people so would want to live with people who would be up for being social together. Additionally, having lived in flatshares for the last 2 years, living with clean and tidy people is at the top of my list!! Please get in touch if you think I could be a positive new addition to your apartment :)
I'm really easygoing and friendly to everyone. Though I'm usually pretty quiet and like to keep to myself, I'm always up for hanging out with everyone and all that socializing stuff :) I'm very tidy and respective of everyone else's property, and would happily take part in regular cleaning of the house. I've only been in Sydney for around 2 years and I'm would love to be closer to the city long term. Currently working full time at Single O coffee roasters in Botany, so free coffee for all!!
I am french, 25 yo, working professional in a start up. After 1,5 years living in Singapore, I'm transferred in Sydney by my company. I have been actually living in Sydney and Melbourne for 4 months before this asian experience. I am looking for a nice accommodation, to chill and also socialize, while still having my own life. I am flexible with moving date!
Hey there! I am a very easy going and friendly person. I am tidy and considerate of others with over 15 years experience in house-sharing! I work full time in digital media and am looking to take up some fitness or sport after work. On the weekends I spend time with my kids, hang out with friends and am interested in art and music culture. I separated from my wife late last year, but we still talk and keep things amicable. We have three beautiful daughters together who will be living full time with their Mum. My kids are quite young and I want things to be “business as usual” for the next little while so have decided I won’t be introducing them to my new place just yet. Aside from that I am ready to create a new home for myself and get things back on track. I am interested in sharing a place with one or two other people at the moment and if there is any possibility of having my own bathroom that would be grand! Please feel free to get in touch so we can meet up for a coffee or a beer and get to know each other a little better :) Cheers, Shaun
Hi potential housemates! -I'm a easy going young professional -Mon to Fri office hours (potentially IN"n"OUT of states from time to time) -Down to earth -Non-smoker -Clean, tidy & considerate -Brilliant spider-handler! -Can cook (can do a mean broccoli stir-fry! I do a bit and who doesn't love day trips to the local breweries/wineries? From time to time, I may chill out infront of my PC but always happy to hang with the housemates if they're around and up for some cheeky beers. Besides myself, I have a handsome, docile, 7 year old husky boy and his younger sister, Gigi the kitten (who dominates him btw!), who both love people as much as their counterparts and will be joining me on this adventure, so if you love pets, you've hit the jack-pot! If you would like to know more, please ask away. I'm a very relaxed person, enjoy random banters and conversations. Lover of craft beers and anything sci-fi! Soft spot for animations and could probably be bribed with any sorts of food... ;) As for the move date, I'm flexible. Looking forward to hearing from you if you beleive we may make a brilliant team!
Hey there! I'm just recently back from working in Auckland on the film studios. Currently living with my mate but looking to move out asap! Somewhere close to city or there abouts! Cal
I'm Lucas, I have been living in Sydney for the las 2.5 years. I work full time for the education sector. I'm a quiet and organize guy looking for a nice place to live. I work Monday to Friday until 5 and during the weeks I love going for a hike or to the beach. I enjoy a good company and a glass of wine. I like socializing but also have some time for myself, and I respect your privacy.
A bit about me: I'm a 27 yr old female from Cape Town, South Africa, here doing my phd in algae research. I like doing a lot of regular things: cooking, going to LGBT events, pretending to read books, actually watching Netflix, and painting. The painting part is important, because I'd like to live with someone who enjoys the idea of having someone painting in the living room as apposed to disturbed by it. (I paint quite large canvases). Rest assured I keep it all pretty tidy. Fresh. A great flat mate will be like-minded (up for the odd drink and/or philosophical discussion), be happy to do equal portions of cleaning, have a job, and be down with said arts and crafts activities.
I've just moved back to Sydney after 8 years away. Tend to socialise outside the house. Super clean & tidy (will always pay for a cleaner - I don't want to spend my weekends with a mop). Love a few wines with friends over a meal. I write, I read, I keep my bad tv show viewing to myself :) I love cooking but I love getting meals delivered more. That is to say - I can cook, but I never do, because cooking for one isn't much fun. I want a place with my own bathroom. Kinda flexible on location - just want it to be nice, and convenient for transport etc. I'd prefer to only be living with one other person, possibly two. Definitely no large share houses, though. Flexible on length of minimum stay. Professional - work in comms/marketing. Travel as much as I can.
I'm Gabby i have only been in Sydney for the past two years and i have just finished my qualification in Interior design and settling into a full time job. I've been renting in mascot for the past 2 years and really enjoy the area and I'd like to move back closer to the city/area for a reduced commute time. But of course I'm open to exceptions.
I am a very mature 20 year old student who has moved from Brisbane to commence studying Music Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music in Surry Hills. I am currently looking for a clean and tidy house with an available room that I can soon call home! Aside from theatre some of my passions include keeping fit and healthy and cooking. I am a very respectful and considerate person super easy to get along with! :)
Hey guys!! I'm currently working full-time on the South Coast and I'm moving to Sydney around late Feb - early March. I'm an easy going, pretty chilled quiet guy although I love getting to know new people and can pretty much get along with anyone! I love cooking, going out on the occasional weekend for a few drinks with friends but also love quiet nights during the week and relaxing after work, so if you think we'd get along just shoot me a message!
Young educated Queenslander looking to make the move to Sydney. Looking to flat share with other young professionals and get myself set up in Sydney. I'm a friendly, clean and quiet guy but I also like to socialise including with housemates.
Hi! I work as a consultant for a technical advisory firm (I would tell you more, but it requires many acronyms that require googling, and possibly a bottle of wine to get through). As a fully functioning adult, I work hard, I play often, and I like to come home to friends, not just random people I happen to share a house with. You will most likely be subject to try random concoctions I make (you can blame Pinterest). But don't worry, I am considerate enough to learn your "not again" and "i need space" face. If I am missing from home, you can probably find me at an art gallery, a museum, the beach, with friends at brunch or at a bar, or I'm probably just in my room zoning out.
Hi! We are a friendly, tidy and quiet couple, Diana 34 and Wilson 41 years old from Colombia we are looking for accommodation for 3 months and we want to move as soon as possible. Thanks and best regards
Hi ! I'm Giulia, I just came to Sydney to study as excahnge student for one semester, and I'm looking for a room! I'm very open and friendly, I've been living alone studying abroad for four years and I'm looking forward to find a place so I dont have to be homeless :D
Work full time, sometimes over the weekend. Enjoy having a wine after work and cooking relaxing with friends. I am not a party animal at home but do like a good relaxing beverage session. Looking to live in a relaxing environment, laid back and easy going. Like to socialise but also like my own space a little in the week
I am a friendly and outgoing flatmate with excellent references and the proud owner of a well behaved cat, whom I can also provide references for, upon request. I enjoy the occasional chat, other wise am a very quite and private individual, who likes to relax in my spare time. I am clean, tidy, respectful and always pay rent on time or in advance. I am looking to relocate to Sydney for employment purposes. So please don't hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss my profile further. I am an exceptional tenet/ housemate with an impeccable track record as a renter with both estate agents and privately. Under both Thomas Brown and Ashleigh Keily. So no great loss to me. I am seeking somewhere long term, that's "Cat friendly" between 50 - 300pw including bills, private/ furnished room with valid street parking for a car and trailer.
29 year old French guy who's lived in Sydney for two years. Easy going, creative, passionate about music, cinema, photography and travel. Works in advertising in Surry Hills full time. I'd like a place with cool vibes to socialize with my housemates and I also enjoy my time to myself. Talk soon !
Hi! My name's Michelle. I'm a social researcher and PhD candidate at Sydney Uni. I'm a warm person and am fairly easy to get along with. My idea of fun is a yoga/dance class, a SUP lesson, a picnic at the beach or an evening in discussing life and politics. I'm generally more of a dinner-with-friends socialiser than a big party person. I'm looking for a large room in a clean, quiet and harmonious home close to the Uni. I'm hoping to find somewhere that I can love and take pride in, so would be sure to pay on time, clean up after myself, pitch in etc. I'm mature, respectful and reliable, and would like to live with housemates who are similar in those ways. I'm independent, but would like to have a warm and comfortable relationship with my new housemates. It would be great if we could share the occasional meal, catch up every now and then for a chat, or spend the odd evening in enjoying a movie, some cheese on bickies and half-a-glass of wine. Let me know if you have a room and think there’s potential. I’m hoping to move in late March/early April and stay until at least the end of the year. Sadly I'm allergic to cats.
Hello! My name is Belle. I work full time in Fashion Wholesale Mon-Fri in Alexandria and enjoy being able to walk to work. I'm pretty independent and am happy to do my own thing however nice big chats, drinks or house dinners are always a good idea. I am pretty social on weekends and like to get out of the house with mates. My weekdays tend to be more laid back. I am ideally looking for a long term place.
Pretty easy going. When not working I am either at the gym, reading or trying to figure out my next weekend's escape. I work in Wynyard and would rather very avoid long commute.
Surching for a single room, need my privacy. Going to arrive in Australia, Sydney March 5th, leaving June 29th. I'm a clean person, easy going, quiet, nice, good for a chat, drink, movie, etc. But also like my own space and privacy and also respect others space and privacy. It's not easy to write a lot ad hoc down, but I can tell you most people like me right away.
I'm an international student that's been living here for a year. I'm really laid back yet organised and friendly. I'm keen to have a chat or a beer every now and then. Love music, films and good food.
Hi potential future flatmate! I'm a 24yo recently graduated psychologist about to start work at Randwick who is looking for a place I can call home! I'm easy going, pretty laid back and love to meet new people. Trying new flavours of Messina is one of my favourite past times (ha), as is dancing and losing myself in a good book! I'm always up for a good chat but I also like having my own, quiet space to wind down, so I of course respect others' need for space. I'm looking to find a place that is ideally long term and to find flatmates I can hopefully come to call friends :)
Im a 26year old female professional. easy going and easy to get along with. i have a fairly busy life a the moment, friends, family, work, study, all demanding! looking for a place to share with others- a good balance of social and independence. I like a bit of everything, sport and fitness, TV watching, movies, music I'm generally out on weekends and work longish hours in the week.
Hey dudes, my name's René. I'm 23 which is old as for a student these days. I'm starting my masters in Sydney this year, and this particular flavour of masters focuses on radiation physics in medical context. So like cancer treatment, imaging technology and whatnot. I been out of uni two years now, did the BSc at the University of Auckland and finished up there end of 2014. Since then I've worked a number of different jobs saving those coins. So that's sorta where I'm coming from on the academic side of things. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A few cheeky beers every now and then doesn't go amiss though. I'll probably be out of the house most of the time I guess, between coursework and sporting commitments, some kind of employment and whatever other social opportunities crop up. So if unobtrusive flatmates are your thing I'm your guy. My sport of choice is weightlifting so I got decent at cooking since one of the things we in the community like to do is eat a lot. One-pot wonders are a specialty and a couple of them I have whittled down to an art form. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary!
"Good dude and great to live with." - current and soon to be former room mates testimonial. Jackson Carter, 24 years young, Civil Engineer moving to Sydney for work. Grew up in Airlie Beach; salt water in the veins opposed to blood. Went to Uni in Brisbane, flirted with mining for a year in Central Queensland (wouldn't recommend it) and recently finished a graduate program in Brisbane. On weekends I like going on adventures and finding cool spots to surf, camp, swim, drink beer etc. live music, bars, cafes - standard 24 year old activities I would say. I have lived in shared housing (of varying dynamics) since leaving home at 17 so I understand the importance of having clean, tidy and respectful roommates. I am kind, courteous with a (self diagnosed) decent sense of humour. I am looking for a young professional house of Monday - Friday workers (so our schedules aren't too conflicting) who are also respectful of others and are clean to live with. I would like to call the people I live with mates, not just roommates. 6 months+ on the lease would be beneficial but not too phased if it's not, I arrive in Sydney the weekend 4th March.
