hello future roomies I'm currently on the hunt for a new roommate, a run down on the details so the place I'm currently at lease is slowly creeping up, so, therefore, I'm searching for a new place and with that, I'm searching for a new roomie. my ideal place is in the western suburbs somewhere between Newport to Seddon this gives you the closeness to the beaches of Williamstown, the city and city views of Melbourne and a great shopping day at Highpoint. about me I'm originally from NSW who moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for university where I study Entertainment management full time, alongside working full time in a restaurant in Williamstown (meaning there will always be Italian food in the fridge for you to eat), an advantage of this is you pretty much get the house to yourself 24/7, I'm tidy and respectful, but don't mind having that social aspect and wouldn't mind making a friend out of a roommate about you my preference on you would be tidy though I don't care about your room (that's your space), be able to pay rent and bills on time, wouldn't mind a chat or drink every know and then if you're interested in getting a share house please don't hesitate to give me a message
I'm a single 40 year old female who works full time. I'm looking to share with preferably a female so we can hang out together sometimes. I have a 3 year old cavalier dog. She is well behaved, good natured and house trained. I'm outgoing and friendly, not into parties but like to chill with a glass of wine after a busy week. I'm very clean and am happy to contribute to keep the house tidy. I've shared with people before so am used to getting along with others. Looking for a place as close to the city as possible but most importantly near a train/tram line. Happy to drive up to half an hour to either. Pretty flexible when it comes to location. Happy to take on a long-term lease.
i am a good guy i love helping out in the house i like parties and i like to drink wine and spirits
Currently studying Professional Writing & Editing @ Victoria Polytechnic. In the middle of applying for the role Protective Services Officer through Victoria Police. Bright, cheerful, patient.
I've been living here for 2 years. The area is quiet, good neighbours, near the beach, near transport and shops. Air con, wifi, friendly Labrador. If you can turn a blind eye to the aesthetic misery of vertical blinds and the property front then all is good. It's fairly comfortable here. The rent here is $175 per week. The estimate is around $55 per week for all the bills associated (ie gas, electricity and wifi).
Hey everyone I have one bedroom to rent in my house along the beach in Altona. Your room will be upstairs with A large bathroom which is private. Rent is $300 per week for single and $350 per week for a couple and wifi as well as home phone are included within the rent. Its a 10 minute walk to Westona train station with a 20minute trip to city and 15 minute walk along the Esplanade to main shops. Must love animals as we have a little dog. We are very layed back and relaxed and would love someone with the same nature. please contact me if you wish to come have a look or want to know more information

We are 2 women looking for a new housemate. The house is huge and modern with each room having it’s own bathroom, which is great! There is an outdoor courtyard to chill out in, with beachy plants and sandy coloured stones. The oven is a great huge gas stove top, with electric oven. Water pressure and central heating and cooling works great. We use our garage for storage so the house isn’t cluttered with our extra bits and pieces. There is also lots of storage inside, with cupboards with shelves. The beach is 1km away - an easy 10 minute walk. The train is 5 minutes walk away. Even less if you have to run for the train! ;) The train is 28 minutes to Southern Cross. So a pretty easy and fast commute to work. There are pizza shops, convenience stores, a boxing gym 5 minutes walk away too. Pier street is about 2k and has lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. There are also popular fish n chip stores opposite the beach.

Me and my girlfriend Nina are two very social, clean and easy going people. Both of us are searching for a full time job in Melbourne, so we need a nice and quiet home for our time in Melbourne. We are friendly and like animals a lot, so we can also take care of your pets. I love to cook and share a good meal with good friends. On the weekends we are always ready for a cold beer or two!
My name is Tara. I'm 29. I work as a receptionist in Brooklyn, Thurs to Sun. Between Mon to Wed I spend my time socializing, dancing and doing public speaking. I am looking for: - a large bedroom (3.7m times 3.7m) OR - a bedroom PLUS study. The bedroom needs to fit a double mattress, clothes hanger, a bedside table, clothes basket. The study area doesn't need to be massive but adequate for a small lady to work around. Suburb preference: Yarraville, Seddon, Kingsville, West Footscray Transport: will need free parking spot, but I like living close to a train station too! I have my own bedroom and study furniture. Gender preference: Mature-minded, easygoing but clean and tidy males. I've had plenty of bad experiences living with catty ladies. Sorry. Age preference: 27 and above House type preference: Modern townhouse/double-brick house/apartment with ducted heating, with dishwasher. I am skinny and petite so I need a well-insulated place for winter. Moving date: 7th November (or similar) Budget is 270 per week or under. I'm clean, drug-free, debt-free, pretty organized and private. I also bring in cleaning materials when I move in, so I contribute to the general cleaning stock. I am pretty busy and independent. That said, it's nice to live with someone who says, "Hi, how was your day?" I am an ambivert - somewhere between introversion and extroversion. Hope to talk to you soon!
Hi Everyone, Adam here!...My current housemate has just got her own place and is moving out so I am looking for someone to move in for at least 3 Months with option to extend long term, sharing with myself. - Room fits King Size Bed - Large Built in Robes - Fully Furnished House, Except Room - WIFI Internet - 500GB a month ADSL About me - I am 29 years old, an easy going guy, I work full time in finance, keep the place clean and love to cook! I am a sociable guy, and am always up for a chat, I am also very respectful of peoples privacy and have had many successful relationships with other housemates over the years. The place has everything you could possibly want to cook with as it is fully furnished, apart from the available room, so you won't need any appliances etc. There's 3 comfy couches in the living room and you actually have a choice of one of 2 rooms - being a 3 bedroom place with only 2 housemates. I recommend the one with the bigger wardrobe naturally! (It's quite a big built in robe which fits a lot of stuff.) My current housie has a queen size bed in the room at the moment so there's still plenty of space. You can store belongings in the other room and there is a spare mattress in there for guests to, plus there's also a large garage where you can store large items if you've got any excess furniture or sporting gear etc. The house has ducted heating and wall air conditioning. The heating is great so you won't freeze in winter! The house itself is in a great spot, its 500m from Altona Dog Beach, and 2.5km from the main beach and the town centre, which is still walking distance, or a 5min drive. The main shopping street has plenty of parking and facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and plenty of cafes etc. There is a bulk billing doctors who take new patients 10mins drive away, as well as vet etc. Seaholme train station is 1.2km away, 3min drive or 12-15min walk, with trains running direct to CBD every 20mins - you'd be at Southern Cross station in 23mins. I drive into the city on occasion and its usually takes me 20-30mins depending on traffic (peak is more like 40mins). There's also a bus stop 550m away. The place has a little fenced in yard suitable for a dog, but the type of dog and its behaviour etc... will be a factor in whether you this would be acceptable or not. I used to look after my housemates dog when she was away or travelled overseas, and don't mind having another mate to keep me company :) If this sounds like a place you're interested in, please don't hesitate to contact me for more info! Look forward to hearing from you. Adam
Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn

Hello :) My name is Amanda I’m 23 years old and I have a 10 month old staffy, Tilly. We are looking for a place to live in the western suburbs of Melbourne. I work full time in childcare, Tilly stays outside when I am not home but she likes to be inside with me when I am home and she sleeps in my bed every night. She loves other dogs so even better if you have another pupper for her to play with! I've been in private rentals the past four years so I am reliable with rent, clean and tidy. Tilly and I just want a place to call home and we are ready to move in asap. If you think we would be a suitable addition to your home, or have any questions, please feel free to message me!
