This stunning modern townhouse is less than 15 minutes from the city, with a supermarket less than 5 minutes away, and a pizza shop right at the end of the street (Priorities in check). There is on street parking and also a bus stop at the end of the street with frequent stops from the 100, 110, 125, 124 and 116. A bit about us - Paige works in recruitment and has done so for over two years in Melbourne, originally from the UK and has lived in share houses since she was 18. . Sam is 27 and trains PTs on how to PT, as well as having his own clients to train. He has just secured a job working for an allied health company in Brisbane. We both love to travel, hike, camp and enjoy the outdoors - we're really looking forward to moving to the warmer weather! We're both down south at the moment and its freezing! We don't party often but will go out for dinner and drinks to socialise. We're saving to move abroad at the moment, so we enjoy spending our time with friends or out enjoying the weather!

Super close to public transport, 50 meters to the bus and 450 meters to the train and with a Woolies just outside you won't ever need to use your car, but if you do own one there's a secure underground carspace available for 20$ a week.

I am not very familiar with Brisbane (I am new here), so if you know good eateries, sights and whatnots, that's a bonus. For fun, I watch TV shows (right now it's Bojack Horseman), listen to podcasts (Freakonomics radio is the best one), browse the interwebs (reddit and Youtube, mostly), go to the gym, read books, tinker with computer coding etc. I am trying to make that list a little less inward-looking. Ciao! I am moving to Brisbane in January to start a PhD in marine biology at UQ! :) Excited...and a bit anxious at the same time! I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse around mid-late October onwards, with move-in date flexible. I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Queensland, where I also tutor par-time. I'd describe myself more of an introvert than a party person, but I love a good wine or a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon. I generally go to UQ about 3-4 times a week and otherwise work at home with my dog. I have a gorgeous 2 year old west highland terrier called Louie! He is desexed, up to date on all vaccinations, etc. He is generally a pretty chill little dude to live with and likes to sleep and sunbake as he pleases. He is an indoor dog and has always had access to common areas (e.g. living room). He's a friendly little guy, so if you too have a dog I'm sure they'd be great friends, but it would be great for them to meet first.

There's large bathroom with laundry facilities, functioning kitchen with ample cupboard space, front and rear decks for entertaining, carport space and the weekly rent includes gas/water charges. You also have sole use of rear yard and front which is fully fenced but you need to maintain/mow. Please note - it's the upstairs area only and does not come furnished and is available next week, house needs full clean before someone moves in.
