Gidday, I'm Marlee! I am looking to find a flat mate and get a unit together or if someone has a study unit/apartment for myself. I will be ready to move late April but have no rush as I am in my own place now but wanting to be closer to the city for the lifestyle change. 27 years young Single Non-smoker Social drinker No pets Work full time Monday - Friday Looking to live in a 2-3 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with one other person only Must have a secure car space as I have a car I have Coeliac Disease so I cannot consume Gluten, so someone who can keep the kitchen clean or eat gluten free too would be ideal Looking for an unfurnished unit or apartment with a view to the city or river MUST have air conditioning Happy to sign a 6 month lease I have all white goods, kitchen utensils, couch, TV and my own bedroom furniture.
What makes me great to live with? Well Haik and I are just people who love to explore different cultures and countries. We are both reliable, clean and respectful. I guess that is the basic for sharing a home. If there is a problem we will try to work on it. Oh and my cooking skills might be a plus for one or the other!
I'm pretty self sufficient and laid back, but I'm happy to have a drink or play Worms WMD or Catan or whatever if other housemates are up for company. I miss living in a big friendly sharehouse and would love to find somewhere like that. My dog is staying with my partner in Sydney for now, but I'd like to bring him up. I'd also love to get back into some form of wildlife rescue, so definitely prefer an animal friendly lease. I'm moving up Easter, flexible with length of stay. I'm working FT now, will be starting my Masters of conservation biology mid year at UQ.
Hey There fellow renters! I am urgently looking to replace my current housemate as she has decided to move. The house is 90% furnished with only your bedroom to set up. Unlimited internet at $35 @ month ea. 1 inside cat who loves people. Townhouse with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I have the ensuite and garage however pay a little more. The main bathroom is yours for the taking. The 3rd bedroom will be a spare room for guests and a study/storage. Lovely neighbourhood and neighbors. Quiet and well maintained block. Bus just up the road. The City, Carindalr, Indooroopilly, East Brisbane are all only 15 minutes away.
I've moved out and I'm helping my housemate Ainsley look for a replacement, and also take over my portion of the lease. I have paid rent up till 30th March, so if you would like to move in any time before that, it'll be free! Rent is $225 / week for 1.5 bedrooms. Ainsley has an internet plan for $70 each month and you can share that with her if you would like. Gas and electricity is split whenever it comes. There is no water bill. Bond is 4 weeks rent, amounting to $900, which is payable to me and you'll then be put on the lease up till 9 February 2018. All bedrooms are located on the top floor. You'll have a a private bedroom, and access to the second bedroom to use as either a guest room or a study. Both rooms have air conditioning, ceiling lights and fan, and build in wardrobes. Both room are identical in size. Ainsley will occasionally have her niece or nephews stay over and will request access to the second bedroom. In my stay with her, that has never happened so the second bedroom is pretty much entirely yours to use. I was happy with this arrangement, and I use the second bedroom as a study room. The main bathroom is entirely yours too! There is a separate laundry and guest bathroom located on the ground floor.

Hi folks! My name is Simon and I'm looking to rent a room on a short-term basis from early April until the end of May (I can be flexible with the exact dates if need be). I'm a friendly, considerate, non-smoking 36 year old professional (and online student!) who is about to move overseas to start my own business. I do a bit of driving for Uber in the evenings too, so I'll need a place to park my car (street parking is fine). I speak a few languages and am happy living in a multicultural house or apartment. I don't have any pets but I'm happy to live with people who do. If you have a bbq at your place I'm very happy to cook you up something awesome as well :-) I'm looking for something within a 10-15min drive of the CBD but I can be a bit flexible with that - my budget could be a little flexible for the right type of place too. I'll consider all types of accommodation as long as I have my own private room. Looking for a welcoming environment with no messy slobs or unnaturally obsessive neat-freaks; just nice, normal people. Happy to consider house-sitting as well. Hope to hear from you :-)
Im a semi retired aged care nurse, extremely quiet, house proud, seeking a long term Fully self contained Unfurnished granny flat/flat to call home for me and my 2 companion house trained dogs. Im seeking a long term rental a place I can call home. I will treat your property with the utmost respect and care for it as if it is my own.
I am 23 and from India, would be studying at the University of Queensland from April 2017. I will be mostly at the uni doing my work and you can have the room to yourself most of the day. At other times I am fun to be with..! Witty and wise crack jokes are going to be a regular thing. I like to be tidy and keep things clean. I am pretty social and adaptable. I generally prefer to keep to my own but once I get along with someone I may talk a lot. My friends would describe me as cheerful and happy go lucky , so if you have any worries , you can share them with me and I can lighten your mood. I am looking for someone who is clean tidy and friendly. I would like to have a private room (preferably with ensuite) for my permanent stay. P.S: I am currently also looking for a temporary place to stay for my initial 1-2months in Brisbane. So if you have a room or would be interested in looking apartments together just drop a message.
Hey guys, I'm easy going and down to earth also very clean and reliable. Working at Mater Hospital in Early Education Mon-Fri, also studying externally. Love to have beers, wine or go out on the weekend. Very social and friendly, I have traveled a fair amount overseas and also lived in Dubai. Looking for a cool place to live that is reasonably close to work. I own a car, so a car space or street parking would be a must. Lived in Brisbane for almost 4 years now originally from the sunny coast.
Howdy Folks! I'm 21 y.o male studying economics at uq though passions definitely lie elsewhere haha (playing music, watching flicks, reading books, spinning yarns) and yeah looking for a cool place to lay my head for the next 6 months - 1 year while I finish my degree. Peace, Albert
Hey guys, I am a student from The Netherlands coming to Brisbane for an internship at the University of Queensland for 3 months. I am very relaxed, clean and friendly, always in for social activities. Looking for a furnished room.
I'm clean (but not to the point of being OCD), don't smoke or party much (but love the occasional beer), and work in software full-time on weekdays and play social sports on most week nights. I can also play a mean game of Catan, among other board games. I'm sociable around the house, but know how to respect personal space as I'm quite the introvert myself. I know how to respect the belongings of others, and ask potential housemates to do the same.

When people walk into this house for the first time , they often comment on what a nice place it is. Do you want to live in a house with a good feel? We are looking for a clean, fun, housemate who is employed or studying to join two other idividuals in a homey and spacious Queenslander located in a nice neighbourhood. We are a short walk from Fairfield Shopping Centre, and Fairfield train station (3 stops to Southbank, 6 stops to central). A short bicycle ride to The University of Queensland. Plenty of street parking available. Walking distance to a very affordable gym. Your bedroom has french doors onto a breezy veranda with a good view. It has a high ceiling and polished floor boards. If you want to contribute to a nice environment, come and meet us.
I am a French student of 21 years old and am moving to Brisbane from April to August this year to work as a research trainee at Griffith University in social marketing. I enjoy quiet places at home and I am searching for a furnished room, where I can have some privacy. I am sociable and enjoy spending time with my roommates and friends. My hobbies are running, hanging out with friends, cooking and discovering new places.
This is a nice, roomy 3 bedroom house with a combined living/dining space and fairly large bathroom and kitchen. You can walk across the bridge to UQ in 30 minutes or less and there are convenient busses and trains to the city and southbank (Dutton Park is our closest station). We are very close to the PA hospital. There's driveway access and under the house is a laundry and lots of hanging space for rainy days. The bedroom itself is a built-in verandah with new carpet and lots of windows. It's a long room so there's room for a computer desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers and any other furniture you might like in there. Please note that the railway line is very close by - we're next to the line with a sound barrier about 10m away from the back yard. The noise doesn't stop me from sleeping and I haven't had any complaints from my housemates either, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.

We are a down to earth couple currently chasing accommodation anywhere in Brisbane! Sam and I love a good chinwag and are originally kiwis who have been on the Sunshine Coast for the past few years. Iesha - currently in her first year of uni studying Criminology & Criminal Justice and works part time in retail Sam - works full time behind the bar at a restaurant on Eagle Street Pier Both of us are laid back and if you've got a decent Spotify playlist or can appreciate most genres then I guarantee we will all get along like a happy little family. If we aren't spending time with friends somewhere on the weekend then we'll most likely be out looking for a good eggs bene. We'd love to move into a house with someone/people who are willing to socialise with us and have a cheeky bevvie over dinner every now and then, but we definitely understand that you will get sick of our bad jokes so you may need a little space from time to time. Additionally, we're both really tidy people and don't want to live with a messy/lazy person. Overall, we're just two peas in a pod who are low maintenance, easy going and looking for a decent set of housemates to do fun stuff with (could range from showing you our cheeky spots up on the sunny coast one weekend to binge watching crime docos on netflix). Shoot us a message if we sound like great additions to your family! Look forward to hearing from anyone who managed to get to the end of this LONG ad! **looking for a place urgently now as our plan runs out and I'm a poor uni student who really doesn't want to pay my other arm for another paid plan to message new listings grr**
