We have 1 room that need to be filled in our lovely 3 bedroom house situated in Annerley. Our previous roommates, whom we’ve lived with for the past two years in this house, are sadly moving out to pursue their careers in different cities. The house itself is about 5km from the city and close to public transport (multiple bus stops and free all-day parking at Fairfield train station). There is plenty of space, with separate lounge, dining and kitchen areas; loads of room under the house for storage or for those who enjoy tinkering with their bikes/cars. It has high set ceiling and wooden floorboards throughout (no dirty carpets !). The common areas are mostly furnished (but you are more than welcome to bring extra furniture), however the bedrooms are not. Room #1 is pretty big (18m2 in total), easily fitting a queen bed and including a walk-in closet for those of you who need a little more space (cf photos). There is plenty of light in this room, as there are 2 large windows in the bedroom and one in the walk-in closet, all with fly screens. The house has one carport and unlimited street parking (parking has never been an issue). It has a lovely garden (~200m2) and a small shaded area for eating outside or lounging in the hammock. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet. There are several cafés and restaurants within walking distance and three supermarkets within a 2km radius. We live right across the Yeronga Memorial Park which has a pool, tennis and basketball courts, and a very affordable fitness center (unlimited classes for 15$/week). The rent does no include bills. Over the last two years, bills (internet, gas, water and electricity) have consistently been around 15$ per person and per week. Unfortunately, the house is not pet friendly as Bertrand is allergic to both cats and dogs :(
Medical intern starting work in February. I am originally from Mauritius but have been in NSW for the past 6 years. Very easy-going and always happy to meet new people. I am currently looking for a 6 month lease since I'll be doing my rural terms in the second half of the year.
Both myself & my partner work away so rarely home. Both have full time jobs not orginally from Brisbane so have only a few people we know in the area. No early bird access unfortunately. We are both exertemly clean & would like to have our own bathroom. Off street parking is a must also would like room to store belongings would even pay for an extra room to utilise as storage. We are looking for at least a 6 month stay. We both enjoy socialising but also really enjoy our down time. We do not mind animals just not in the house. I work near the city so within 25km of the city would be ideal in any direction as long as it close to a train statiin. We both enjoy to be active & eat well. Have been together for over 13years, we just sold our house & are looking to save some cash before we invest again. We would love a 2brm, 2bath with parking close the city with the amenities. Need to be out by the 14th Feb so please feel free to contact.

I've seen many corners from Europe and would love to share my stories and hear yours! I'm very easy going and love to meet new and interesting people. Within the week, I'll be working in a hospital, in the evening and weekends, I'd like to discover Brisbane's and Australia's beauty - maybe you'd like to team up?

I work full time as a admin assistant/accounts for a exporting company in Archerfield and I currently study a bachelor of Law (part-time) at Griffith Univeristy Nathan Campus. I'm looking for a place close to work as I don't have my license and will need to uber it too work lol. I don't require the room to be furnished at all as I have my own furniture. I'm looking for a place closer to my work in Archerfield. Not closer to my university as I only go twice a week and that's after I finish work.
Hi I'm David, I'm looking for a room to stay in long term in the UQ area in order to start studying in Semester 1 of 2017. I'm fairly open to moving dates as long as it's before the 20th of February. I'll be honest with you, I'm not too picky as to where I live, just as long as it's close to UQ, I'm planning on spending more time outside than in, so as long as it's a place to keep my things, wash clothing and sleep, I'm all set. Unfurnished rooms are acceptable as I plan to eventually furnish my own room, but Ideally a decent bed and either clothes rack or wardrobe would be ideal, again, not too picky. I'm interested in and love cooking, so if one of the household chores includes this I'm more than happy to pull my weight. It also goes without saying I'll do my bit when it comes to combined expenses/chores etc... If you have something that fits what I'm after I'd prefer you call me over messaging me through flatmates as I'm more likely (certain) to see it. Thanks!
I'm a Journalism student at UQ looking for a room. Non-smoker, neat and I have all my own furniture. I don't have any pets but my parents do have a dog that might occasionally come to visit. I own a car so a spot to park it would be great! My move in date is flexible, but I would prefer to find somewhere before Uni starts!
We are looking for a large bedroom and some storage space, easy to live with , clean and quiet we both love riding our bikes 🚴. and Holly will away on placement to finish her Uni degree most of the time. I work full time but when we are around we just like to relax and cook.
Hey! My name is Faz (Faisal) & I'm a 28 year old junior doctor who will be working full time at Greenslopes Hospital for 12 weeks starting from the 13th of Feb this year. I can tell you all about how awesome I am but I'll make it short and sweet: I'm clean & tidy, easy going & open minded. I drink only socially but I don't smoke. I love pets & I don't have any dietary restrictions. I'm basically looking for a lovely place to stay in & a nice people to share the place with. Please let me know if you're happy to rent me the room for that period (3 months), preferably moving in on the 11th or 12th of Feb. Cheers Faz
Massive backyard. Big deck House comes with the cutest dog on earth. located on a quiet street with friendly neighbours. The room is medium sized (approx 6 x 3m). Under house storage, Washing machine. Close to transport (2 train stations easy walking distance, city bus 5min walk) The place is set up to basically move into with or without furniture. I have always lived with females as I find them easier housemates and cleaner etc (grew up with sisters) and so am comfortable with and prefer that. I am a PE teacher and not a big partier. Friendly and happy to have a drink with house mate at the end of the week. Social but respect the privacy of others. Happy to cook / shop together or separately

I'm a mature & easy going person, whose many years of experience in hospitality (in my opinion) have helped me become an adaptable, friendly & accepting housemate. I am also a professional housesitter, so am very respectful of people's property, time & space. Outside of the home, I keep busy & entertain my friends at 'their' houses or cafes around the corner, but I like my home to be a comfy & quiet place to relax & recharge :) I enjoy playing sport (have been chasing a round ball for approx 15 years!?), & am training to be a firefighter in the QFES. I am an experienced barista too, so if my future housemate wants to purchase or has a commercial espresso machine, I can whip you up a very decent cup 👍
Hey Guys:) My lease runs out at my current apartment so i'm looking for a room around the 25th of march! I have my own bed and bedroom furniture plus i have almost an entire apartment worth of furnishings that i can bring ( couches, washing machine, coffee table, stools and an out door setting ) but if not i can just put these in storage. I work full time and i'm always on time with my bills etc. I respect peoples privacy and like my own space but love to socialise aswell. I'm not really a party animal but i do like to have a wine and a fun night out every now and then. I have no problems keeping my living spaces clean and i'm always respectful of others and their property I've only really lived in Brisbane 10 months so i'm relatively new so i'm looking to also be friends aswell as roomies :) Look forward to hearing from you!! Danni
I'm easy going clean and respectful of others. I have a 2yo staffs x named Bronson who is super friendly and well trained. I do have all house furniture but can store it as required. Looking for something with aircon and own bathroom preferably :)
I'm a graduate Linguist working Part-time the in CBD who is returning to full-time uni once again! I'm a great cook, love the gym, vegan, musician and an overall chilled out person. I'm happy to live with singles, couples, kids, pets, smokers [though I am not one], everyone and everyone as long as we all get along!
Quiet, professional female. Fairly busy so rarely at home, sociable and enjoy a quiet drink/meal but not really a partier. Prefer something unfurnished and hopefully with some storage space as I would be coming from my own place so have a fair bit of stuff - downsizing as much as I can though).
Hi, we are friends (not a couple) from Bundaberg who are looking for a 2 bedroom place in Brisbane. Romy is 17 (18 in August) and will be starting at Griffith Uni this year to study Bachelor of law. Jack is 17 (18 in May) and is getting a work transfer to Brisbane for this year and hopes to study at Uni next year. We are looking for a place near Griffith or close to public transport to get to Uni. Romy has a little dog but if pets are not allowed that's ok, the dog can stay with her parents in Bundaberg. We will respect your place and keep it clean & tidy.
I'm a mature, responsible person who likes a tidy place to live in. I love music and reading. I work Mon-Frid full time. I have two jack russells and am a responsible pet owner. I'm looking for a fully fenced, pet friendly accommodation.
Hi everyone I have one room available for rent at a property walking distance from the PA Hospital. This property cannot be beaten for convenience and location for Princess Alexandra Hospital Staff or University students. It is an easy 400m (5 min) walk to the hospital, meaning that you can avoid paying the hefty daily parking fees at the hospital car park. It is also only 200m up the road from the ample facilities of Buranda Shopping Centre, which has Woolworths, gym, and multiple food outlets. The unit is fully furnished with air-conditioning available in the living/ kitchen area. Each bedroom has its own double bed and ensuite bathroom. This is the ideal property for anyone working at the PA or studying in Brisbane, providing convenient access to public transport, and situated only a short 10-minute drive to the Brisbane city centre. Photos available online: https://www.realestate.com.au/property/1-19-emperor-st-annerley-qld-4103 To express your interest in this property, please feel free to contact me to arrange an inspection time. Cheers Justin.
Amazing location, 50m to Dutton Park station, close to Woolworths and Coles. Commercially laid out kitchen with new appliances and leading out to a currently rebuilt deck. Living room has been left to a lego collection but can be re-converted back for shared living. Place is a older and is a few years from being knocked down, internally it has large rooms, high ceilings and keeps temperature well. There are two rooms available, both are 3.2m by 3.2m. Two dogs live here, a mini daschunds and a mastiff kelpie. Both are friendly and generally have the run of the house. Living here involves some dog sitting from time to time.
Hey there. I'm Jess, a 30yr old male who has just returned from living abroad for the past few years and will be studying at UQ. I'm clean, quiet and easygoing. Looking for flatmates who are like minded.
Hi, My name is Blake, and I'm looking for a place in the South Brisbane area, preferably around in Annerley, Greenslopes, or other nearby suburbs. I'm easy going and looking for one or two other people to share a place with. Either short term or long term suits me, and I'm looking at moving mid-February or so, however, this is flexible. Hope to hear from you soon.
We are a quiet couple who work full time and are easy going and easy to live with. I am from Brisbane, Damian is from NZ. We are both non-smokers, and have no pets.
My name is Roberto, I am 19 (turning 20 this November). This yeah I will begin to study engineering at the University of Queensland, therefore I am looking for a room near St Lucia to stay (preferably no more than $180 per week and with unlimited internet included). I moved from Italy 3 years ago and I graduated with an OP 3 in 2015. I am good to organize things in time, listen to the duties that are charged on me. Polite, reliable and kind with people around me. I don’t smoke and I am not a party guy and I prefer to live with people who don’t mess up the house with parties or drugs.
