Warm Pacific Greetings :) I'm a Mature Professional Radio Presenter & Performance Artist who has travelled a fair bit and now work Fulltime in media. Love to come home & relax! I've lived with many many different people over time, so I'm fairly relaxed. I'd love to share my space with someone who works or studies out of the house also, given the space someone who does not have too much furniture or things to move in. Would suit traveller or someone from interstate without a lot furniture & stuff. I'm very sociable but also quite busy with work and working on projects, so I love living with people who enjoy their life and have various activities that they are active in. I also enjoy quiet time at home after work and happy to share a glass of wine or a meal. I like a household where the housemates are friends, not just people paying rent together. I’ve been in this house for 7 years now! I enjoy having a harmonious clean friendly and functional energy around the home. There are parks locally with an outdoor gym, a cafes etc. Traditional Healing centre right across the road. Lots of cool cafes about the place and shopping is just up the street - so the house suits public transport travellers a lot. Happy to have people socially gather but this is not at all a party house. I occasionally host a reading group from home. My place is a bit like a World/Global gallery with my artefacts collections about the place, so if you are into Indigenous Art and TIKI Lounger aesthetic in a shabby chic type setting, then you'll feel right at home! House is on street level and has street noise but also very private, so if you're anti-people or inner-west traffic, this is not the place for you - no worries! Here's more info about the house below: The Space - renovated house - OPEN PLAN Kitchen and Lounge room (Breakfast Bar) Small courtyard¨- Safe and Secure Share laundry Share courtyard Sharing with 1 other (myself) The Neighbourhood Arts and Craft precinct - my house is in a boutique area, a pocket between Dulwich Hill village and Summer Hill. Its a lovely pleasant area to live in, lots of parks and lovely houses about. Lots of Cafes, Restaurants and transport to get you to any place in Sydney - short bus or train rides to all the major stations if you're keen to check out different areas and locations. Getting Around 1 block from Dulwich Hill village and very close to all amenities - Bus Routes: 426, 445, 425, 418, 428, 444 only 1 block away.. OUTSIDE the front door is a GoGet pod - GoGet Carshare pod - the vehicle there is a 5 door hatchback. GoGet is a Carsharing service in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne & Adelaide :) Other Things to Note There is a small old BBQ in the yard (which is shared with the upstairs unit in the duplex). House Rules Must clean what you use in Kitchen area and; Bathroom area - Neat and Tidy REGULAR cleaning (with or without a roster essential) Must be considerate of general aesthetic of the household and maintain the general aesthetic.. Im a clean-as-I-go person and would love to share with someone who can aspire to do the same. But also on the occasion, I get busy with a project so I lapse some days doing my dishes - I love neat and tidy but can appreciate that sometimes life gets busy and stuff happens. Been in this house for 7 years now 😁 I live with a couple currently but realise now I am too busy and would prefer to live with just one person.
We have a room for rent big enough for a double bed and has a built-in wardrobe. The building is a 2-storey warehouse conversion with 3 bathrooms, shared shower. There’s a large open living space with front patio. All living-kitchenware is supplied, and we have: aircon, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Nice street with a cafe just up the road and loads of places which deliver, only a few minutes’ drive from the shops of Marrickville and Summer Hill. Minutes’ walk from light rail and bus stops. A 5 min light-rail trip to Dulwich Hill train station or a 20-minute walk.
SHORT TERM Female only 18 January - move in This room is suitable for a female who is seeking somewhere short-term - so perhaps a student, traveller or someone who is transient. Hi there, I'm Taylor and I'm a singer/songwriter and child-care worker, currently living in Marrickville. I'm a HUGE animal lover, and the only reason I'm looking to move from my amazing current house, where I rent, is because I am looking for a dog-friendly place to live. My rescue dog passed away 2 months ago and, although I'm still grieving, adopting another rescue doggy is definitely on the cards, so I'm looking to find a home where this option could be possible. My current house is filled with memories of my old dog, so it's getting more and more difficult to live here. Anyhoo, I'm friendly, efficient with rent/bills, very tidy and clean (I'm not a stickler, but I will definitely do my part, trust me!). I'm always happy to chat or happy to keep to myself, I listen to music, watch Youtube videos, I enjoy films, am laughing often and can poke fun at my daggy self (but I'm not down with poking fun at others). Happy to chat and discuss options if need be :) Thank you for reading and have an amazing day!
I'm a veterinary student from Stockholm, Sweden. I am currently in my final year of university and will be doing some rotations at the uni teaching hospital starting January. I love animals, cooking, exercise, studying and getting to know new people from all around the world and of different ages. I've previously lived with a homestay family, in a flat by myself and in a share-house. If you think we might be a match then I look forward to talking to you and getting to know you more! Cheers
I'm looking for a place near a train station, and close to the city. (One flatmate only.) I work during the week (office hours). Enjoy cooking and going to the gym. I'm sociable, clean, and considerate.
Hi, my name is Monica, I'm from Sydney and I am 28 years old. I am a qualified interior designer currently working in the property styling industry full time. I am respectful and tidy and love to make the space I live in beautiful (thanks to my job!) I am punctual and pay all my bills on time so you won't have to worry about me at all. I mostly like somewhere clean and quiet to relax after a day at work but can be quite social so would be happy to have a chat and share a beer or wine after a busy day. I’m not big on parties but don’t mind guests as long as they are respectful. I am currently renting a studio and have all the furniture required to furnish a living/dining area plus cutlery and appliances such as a fridge, washing machine, microwave etc so potential flat mates do not need to worry about organising these items - I have it all!
Recent Finance graduate from Newcastle, working full time in Barangaroo. Clean and quiet, very sociable and easy going, like staying fit and eating healthy, will be working Monday - Friday. Looking for a room to share with a great hard working people. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
Open minded, respectful, quiet and simply like people, generally. Have a passion for the arts (enjoy my piano) and like a good movie or show. Am excited about finding a new hobby. Employed as a fundraiser. Originally a New Zealander though grew up in Perth, been around Sydney for a while. Wish to broaden my horizons and embark on a new chapter
Hi there! I'm a 37 year old Australia-born Chinese male. I work in IT, working full-time, normal business hours in the city. I'm currently living in a share-house, but am looking to move as my flatmates will be moving into their own recently bought unit. I'm friendly, tidy, low-maintenance and respectful of others. I'll usually be out on weekends catching up with friends or family. My hobbies include playing guitar and indoor rock-climbing - neither of which I'm very good at if I'm being honest :) I also have a car, so a place which includes a parking spot or nearby street parking would be great.
I’m 28 years old, a soon to be admitted solicitor. I've been focusing on my postgraduate studies over the last two years in Sydney. I’d like to think of myself as someone who is friendly, always happy to share a meal, enjoy a good laugh over conversation yet also mindful of the need to be respectful of others space and as goes without saying, I’m clean and tidy. I’m also a foodie whose hobbies include reading (fantasy in particular: The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Game of Thrones etc) and playing PS4. In case you’re wondering, I’m not a total couch potato, I frequently train Brazilian Jiujitsu during my free time.
I'm easy going and happy to chat or watch netflix of an evening. I also like my own space and to go out and explore of a weekend.
I will be starting a graduate program on February 4 for a construction company in a Health, Safety & Environment role. I will be moving over to Sydney from Perth for this new job and would ideally like to move in a few days before the start date so I can settle in and get to know my surroundings. I like to regularly go to the gym to stay fit, go and see music acts especially at festivals, and I enjoy binge watching tv shows and playing video games.
I am adaptable, friendly, cheerful, would love to hang out, adventurer and funny. I can cook and also a tidy-person. We also could share stories or make up, i am an open-minded person so its pretty chill to live with me. I will respect your privacy too :)
I am quiet, respectful, polite and I like to keep things neat and tidy. I’m a nutritionist so I’m pretty busy most days mon-fri and usually like to chill on the weekends or catch up with friends. I’m studying part time at Sydney Uni and saving for my home deposit and would like to share with other like minded people. I’m into sustainability, saving money, kirribilli markets, and like pets dogs and cats do not bother me as long as they are toilet trained! I’ve lived in shared accomodation mostly in London when I lived there. Whilst I do lead a busy life I am not opposed to having a chat or the occasional flat mates dinner. Look forward to hearing from you.
I’m 38, work part time and will be going back to uni next year, I’m also a freelance writer and occasionally edit others work. I’m quiet, non intrusive and very respectful of others property and space. That said, I'm up for a good laugh and chat and don't mind a few drinks now and then. In a cat lover and love riding my bike. Exorbitant bond is not within my reach right now, so only message me if the moving in cost is reasonable. I do keep rather odd hours, as I find it's more conducive to my writing. Message me any time. I
Hi, my name is Charity (age 30), I recently moved back home from the UK after 2 years. Currently working as a workplace trainer on Gendered Violence at a University. I am looking to immerse myself back into Sydney life and looking for a great sharehouse with socially and politically progressive people. I am a massive foodie, I love to cook and love socialising with friends. I am fairly chilled out and while I love to socialise with my flatmates I also really enjoy my alone time.
I'm a high school teacher, tidy, easygoing and friendly. I'm fluent in sarcasm and have a knack for banter. I'm always up for brunch and equally up for a night in watching Netflix. I'm looking for a social house that isn't a party house.
Originally from Townsville, North Queensland, I moved to Sydney about a decade ago and have been living in the Inner West ever since. I work Mon-Fri from 8:30am-5:30pm in a retail head office as a Learning and Development Administrator (IT related job). I also have been employed in various positions within the same company for about 15 years. During my spare time, I enjoy seeing live music, watching movies (especially in the cinema) and travelling. As a housemate, I’m really easy going, clean up after myself and respect other housemates’ privacy. If you’d like to know anything more about me, feel free to hit me up! :)
Hey, full time worker sponsored to stay for at least another year! Looking for a place to live somewhere central enough and a few good craic housemates would be a bonus :)
I’m a 27 year old teacher with a 10 year old Labrador. I’m looking to rent a place while I save up for my own place.
