Hello, My name is Sara. I am currently looking for a room in North Brisbane. I come with a very friendly, housetrained Maltese/poodle named Willow, she is 2 years old. I am studying paramedics full time and work part time at a hospital. I do have furniture if require but happy to store/ sell if need be. I am always up for socialising but being in my final year of uni I am a bit of a hermit at the moment. Not after a party house! I am looking to move in the last week of March/ first week of April. \ PS not sure why my photo keeps zooming in to only see my forehead! More than happy for you to add me on facebook or Instagram if you'd like to see who you'll be living with! Just send me a msg :)
I'm a happy Brisbane born and raised 34 year old gal looking for an inner north side place to call home. NB: If all the words below freak you out then feel free to move on, cos I'm a details girl :P I work full time in furniture and homewares sales. Have completed studies in floristry and interior design. Love an indoor plant here and there 🌱🌿 Equally happy relaxing at home (ideally on a breeze filled deck) or being a social butterfly out and about. I would not call myself a fitness person, but being on my feet all day helps keeps things in check and i'm hoping to getting back into yoga and salsa classes this year. I'm all sorted for my bedroom furniture (queen size room needed). I have the following items that I can contribute to the common areas if need be but I don't have to bring them: 3 seat sofa - dark tan leather; Small storage buffet; a few kitchen everyday basics and counter appliances. I would also be happy to purchase other furniture/homewares through my work if need be 😉 Living in a household of 2 - 4 people would be my pref, and if any partners also stay over a couple nights a week I don't mind as long as they are respectful lovely people, I'm supportive of people finding love :) A nice outlook from my room and the living area is important to me (bonus points for big trees) A large wardrobe, en-suite and off street parking is a must. Ideally... Aircon, ceiling fans and security flatscreens through out. And allllll for $240 odd a week!? That’s not asking for too much is it?! 🤣 Budget: $200 - $245 (plus bills) Move Date: Between now and April (as I could use my mums place as an inbetweener if need be) but IDEALLY the end of Jan / first week of Feb, as that would mean only 1 move which I'd prefer. Pets: I don't have any... but I love dogs of all sizes. NO CATS PLEASE... yes they're cute but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move, so it's a little tricky to get work until i am actually living in the area, HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
I am a young professional working two jobs, so i am not often home. I work in real estate 5/6 days a week and then I work in a bar Friday and Saturday nights. I am very active, i train 6/7 days a week. I like my own space, however I am a very confident person and always up for a chat! Ive lived out of home for 3 years and understand all the basic and complicated house rules with sharing :)
I have 2 cats and 1 dog ( perfect angels) who like being outside or in my room (dog will usually be in my room but outside during the day) I work full time mon-fri as a receptionist at sci fleet Toyota in Albion. I’m a very chilled person who likes doing my own thing but also likes to hang with my new roommate/s have a few drinks or watch tv. I am reasonably clean, spend quite a bit of time at home with the animals (or with family) I love adventuring and spending my weekend at the beach. Looking forward to hearing from you all😊
Work full time moving over from New Zealand to work as a territory manager. Enjoys cooking and exercise. Love to have a wine and socialise. I’m a foodie! Love finding new cafes or restaurants. I’m a nail tech aswell so you might be lucky enough for me to do your nails 😉 Looking forward to meeting like minded people. Wanting a place with a en-suite, car park and air con in bedroom.
I'm a warm, easy-going, friendly person who is looking for a place to move in. I currently live in Upper Mount Gravatt, but my work is moving to the north side (Hendra) soon, so I'd like to find a place close enough to work before the big move. I love going to the movies or binging a good tv show, reading and writing, and playing games. I work full time at the moment so I'm always looking for some spare time for my hobbies and other passions in life, or just somebody to hang out with after a long day. Preferably, I'd like to move into a place with other women and a max of two housemates as that is what I am most comfortable with at this time. I am available to move in at any time with short notice, hopefully before the end of January. I am looking for places that have easy access to train-lines or busses that could get me to the city so I can still get to work before the office move, and also looking for unfurnished rooms. I do currently work 9-6 during the week. Please only message me during these hours as my work requiries me to be on the phone. I am available to message or call at any time during the weekend, and please ask if you'd like my email or facebook.
Hey mates, my name is Corrine. I'm looking for a nice place for short term before I have my own place in Brisbane. Im working full time as an advertising and marketing role. I do some filmmaking and photography during my part time, and it's my pleasure to know special creatures who have the same hobbies to work with. I m a very clean and tidy person, and would like to stay in a place which is cleaned by everyone. I love music, movies, arts, reading and traveling. That'll be so great if can live with cool people who can share good time together and also give private space to each other. The property I prefer is more like a nice apartment or two/three bedroom unit or new house. The room is sunny and cosy, with build-in wardrobe, a double or queen size bed, a simple clean desk. It would be nice that it feels like a home with good living environment. Do not consider accommodation for students. Hope to hear from you. ;) Cheers.
Hello, my name is Arthur. I am an international student currently studying in Brisbane. I also have 1 other college friend.. The two of us are looking for an apartment to rent.. the apartment should have two bedrooms.. our combined budget is $400 per week. Message me if you need more information. We are currently living on our own and have decided to rent together since we have common interests as students to have a place that we can all study in together. Thank you.
Hi! I'm looking for a room in Brisbane (Close to the city). I'm 24 and moving back up from Sydney although I was raised in Brisbane. I've just graduated from uni and will start a grad job in Feb 2019. I keep pretty busy but would love to find housemates who don't mind a chat every now and again. I'm clean, friendly and respectful and I'm looking for a room to stay long term (1 year +). Please get in contact if you think I might suit your place :)
Hi I'm Ashleigh. I am an easy going gal, looking to downsize from my current roommate situation of 4 people to something a little more manageable like 2 people. I work full time as a nurse doing shift work so routine isn't necessarily my thing but I am a very clean and tidy person and like to maintain clean common areas. I like to chat and socialise with my housemates but also respect people's space and privacy when needed. I like to exercise when not at work but also enjoy a solid day spent binge watching TV shows/movies if my motivation is on the low side, so I'm hoping to find someone with similar interests. I have 1 furchild - a dog named Marley 🐕 she is getting older now at the mature age of 8. She is a Maltese X Shitzu so she has a very placid nature. Marley is completely toilet trained and is both an inside/outside dog. She also does not shed hair.... So that's a win for you 😄 I own a full house of furniture at my current place so am also willing to contribute stuff to to the house if needed. Realistically I can move in anytime, but I would like to give my current housemates as much notice as possible.
Hi! I’m a 21 year old uni student in my final year of study. I’m a pretty relaxed person, don’t mind having a few people over every now and again. I work part time in retail to fuel my need to have take out on several occasions a week. We’ll get along if you love swapping travel stories, easy going, and are always up for a chat.
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 38 year old single gay guy. I just moved back after travelling for a few months. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I'm a very fun happy guy. I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. I'm a really happy and chatty guy - i am really not into the" i want to talk about all things vegan in your face thing " , or the " i have a political opinion about every topic and i want to annoy you with it for 2 hours and then have a go at you because of yours " Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 37, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. So if your LAID BACK and don't have a panic attack and meltdown about everything in life, we will get along. :) Ps - I am super allergic to all cats - like serious crazy allergic. if you have a cat, i can't live with you. Sorry cat lovers!
Down to earth easy going guy who works all week and in my spare time spends a lot of time keeping fit and seeing friends. Always tidy up after myself if I make a mess. Grown and independent so you won’t need to worry about personal space. I’m saying that I’m always glad for a chat or share a meal or a good conversation. Get in touch sure
Hey I'm Tyler I am from Canada, I work shift so basically just looking for a base. Most the time I go overseas on my days off so I wouldn't be there alot. I am 34 , clean and respectful. Currently looking for a place short term.
G'day. My name is Lewis and I've recently been posted to Brisbane with the Defence Force, working out of Enoggera. I'm easy going and enjoy spending time with friends and family as much as possible. I enjoy a social drink and love almost all sport. I enjoy keeping fit and healthy as much as I enjoy Netflix and online gaming. From experience (6 years), work requires me to travel away a lot and at short notice, so potentially you may not see me for weeks at a time. I'm looking for a room with an en suite or own bathroom and off street car parking. Ideally a place with my own living area would be the icing on the cake. I have enough furniture to fill a 1 bedroom apartment (which is what I had in Melbourne), fridge, washer/dryer, queen bed, dining table, etc etc I do require to be put on a official lease as this will enable me to receive rent assistance through my employment. If you need any further clarification on this, please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers.
