Our Buxton Street townhouse is located just across from the Doomben Racecourse and within close proximity of a lavish new woolworth's and shopping complex. Doomben train station and bus stops are at the end of the street so public transport is readily available. Ascot is central to almost everywhere - 20 mins to the city, 15mins to the airport and DFO and is about a 5 min drive to jump onto the M1 to the GC or Sunshine Coast. The location is amazing! If you do decide to come and check the place out I definitely recommend taking the time to drive down racecourse road and get a feel for the area (you'll fall in love). Street parking is also readily available right outside the house. Our home is spacious and you will be living in one of Brisbane's most elite suburbs. Our neighbourhood is quiet, clean and super friendly. We have plenty of street parking and ducted air-con in every room! This house is one of the best you will find around the area for this price! Featuring a massive open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as a decent sized outdoor entertaining area. Your room is a great size, easily fitting a queen bed as well as a desk and shelves with double mirrored wardrobes, ducted air-conditioning and windows allowing a good amount of natural light in. The bedroom pictured in our images is one of the two up for rent, the second bedroom has two large windows and is set up slightly different (first in best dressed kinda basis for this). Your bathroom is literally one of the nicest rooms in the house.. decent size featuring a bathtub, shower and large vanity area.
Hello! My name is Paula, im a 26 years old argentinian travelling with my partner Sebastian. We are both backpacks on our 2nd and last year visa. We love going to the cinema once a week, play football and table tennis, and we are both crazy about dogs and cats.
Hi there, I’m Conor. 22 year old Barista! At the moment my living situation is going side ways and might end up worse then ever! So I am looking for some to stay in July, maybe for a month bur depending on the situation there and the awesomeness of the host it’d be cool to stay and call home! I hope to hear from you soon, thanks.
Hey! I'm 26, full time manager of an F45 studio - I've got my Bachelor in Exercise Science and have a side business building chatbots (bit of a nerd at heart!). Love to stay fit and healthy but there's always time for a few drinks every so often! Looking to move in sometime end July time to preferably a modern style place with a bunch of great people! Thanks! Jacob Lummus
Hi there, a little bit about me: I tend to be quiet at all times and respect others privacy, although I don't mind being social at all. Nowadays, I am studying an apprenticeship to become a light vehicle mechanic. I am working in logistics at the moment. My job is to empower people when they require to build events. I can do this because I am a marquee building specialist. I look for a quiet place where to relax and have a great sleep after work/class. I work mostly during days with the occasional early start or late night hours. I am a non-drinker (very rarely) and a non-smoker (prefer to live in a smoke-free house). In my free time, I usually read a book, go to meet friends and/or do some sort of exercise. Lately, I have been investing my time practicing yoga, Jiu-jitsu or running. One important detail is that I prefer houses that have dogs instead of cats as pets. I am looking to move at the end of May start of June. Please, feel free to message me if you have a good room to rent. Jorge
I work full-time as a short-haul flight attendant based in Sydney and I just received my transfer to Brisbane with Qantas. I will make the move mid July and I am looking to move somewhere north of the river for that toll-free drive to the airport. I also recently finished up uni with a Bachelor of International Studies and currently live in a share house in Sydney. I'm pretty social and I'm a pretty relaxed housemate. Hoping to make some friends living with other young people!
Hello everyone ! I'm Adrien, 28 years old, from Southern France, and I'm working as a carpenter and photographer. I've just arrived in Australia and am ready to work for few months in Brisbane. I'm into travel, arts & culture, ecology, outdoor sport, photography etc... We'll have a lot to share !
Hi! Some people have messaged me with listings that are either too soon, or don't have some of the things that we are looking for, so I will make a quick summary below. Move in date: July (end) - Aug (mid). Duration: 3 months - 12 months. For: Couple (f&m). Rent: 420 a week (neg). Utilities: Included (unless own property, then not required). Required: Internet, air-con, fully furnished, own bathroom. Locations: Brisbane city, New farm, Bowen hills, Ascot, South Brisbane, West end, Red hill, Spring hill, Fortitude valley, Newstead, Hamilton. Inspections: Please message me and we can organise a time. A bit about me: I am a 31 year old professional who wakes up pretty early for sessions with my trainer, then I work 3-5 days a week on a rotating roster, which means by the afternoon I'm pretty tired. Looking to come home to a clean and quiet environment to chill in. I'm respectful, courteous and quite mellow tempered. Can't cook for my life (lol) so I will be eating out a lot or getting uber. You are welcome to join! :p A bit about my SO: He is an American on a working holiday visa and will arrive sometime in August. He will be living with me for the duration of his stay as I will be supporting him financially until he finds work. He is currently finishing up his Auckland city council contract (edit 14/6/19: has been extended to mid aug, hence the later move in date) via his NZ WHV making Australia his soon-to-be 2nd year in Oceania. If youd like to know more about us, or have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Mila ~
A clean and respectful couple looking for a room! My name is Karma and I work in Marketing. My partner Dejon is a pilot in training, working at the airport. We are social and love a few drinks, but also enjoy our privacy, especially during the week. We are very easy going and easy to get along with, and both ride motor bikes for commuting and leisure.
I am a 33 year old Indian female from Fiji. I am married and have a son but I will be moving to Brisbane alone for my PhD. I am a very easy going person and like to make new friends. Socialising is nice but I am not a party person. I don't mind if you have pets as long as they are friendly. I respect people's privacy and expect the same in return. I don't mind if housemates have overnight guests as my husband might make short visits during the year. Overall, I am a very chill person, love to talk and make friends.
Tidy, easy going and respectful of other people. In my last year of uni, looking for something somwhat long term until I’m finished my degree.
Peaceful 23yo, loves to spend free time practicing yoga, making art, going to gigs/festivals, and kicking back for the odd glass and banter :) Vegan/vegetarian house ideal but not essential. Currently working in hospitality and returning to university study in the following year. Would love to find a welcoming home filled with likeminded people who are respectful of the house and each others space, and get along smoothly! Feel free to send me a message at any time with any questions or queries :)
