I'm very quiet and unobtrusive, I'm clean but not anal about it, I rarely have guests and pay my bills on time. I work in hospitality, I smoke and I love to bake and play video games. I'm looking for a large room with my own bathroom, an ensuite preferably, somewhere close to public transport.
Awesome location! Centrally located means this unit is close to everything; UQ, Wesley Hospital, Auchenflower station is a two minute walk away, super close to the city, Brisbane river and Park Road. The unit is also a five minute walk from local gyms such as Urban Climb and Jetts. The room has a large built in wardrobe and large window that lets in a nice breeze. The bathroom is shared and features an over the bath shower with a separate toilet. Kitchen is gas cooking with a large fridge so plenty of space for foodies. There are cooking appliances and crockery available. There is a washing machine in the unit and large clothesline out the back. The living area has a super comfortable couch and tv and a large empty bookshelf. Photos were taken on an iPad and don't do this place justice.
Looking for a house mate for our much-loved Auchenflower abode! We have a room available in our large 4 bedroom house in Brisbane’s best suburb for cafes and restaurants. Close to Rosalie shops and just a short walk to Park road restaraunts and gyms. Your rent will be $160p/w – room is a great size, located on the bottom level and has built-in robes. The rest of the house is completely furnished (kitchen/laundry appliances etc.) as we’ve been living here for the past year. You will be sharing a bathroom with one of the housemates. There is also a lockable garage where you could store bikes/furniture etc.. Electricity is roughly $80-90 per quarter and gas is normally $50-60 per quarter Internet is $15 per month If you can see yourself kicking back on the veranda after a long days work/study with a cold beer or hot coffee and looking out onto the city, then give me buzz. River fire is amazing from the top deck! Cheers!
Hey! I'm chelsea. I'm 20 and I'm a travel agent in Toowong. I currently live in auchenflower and I'm having some trouble with my current room mates (ughhhh) Looking to move out of this place if the opportunity comes up, I'm currently paying $183 a week and would ideallly like to look at less but definitely no more than that. I'm a super fun chick, outgoing, love a drink and occasionally a night out. no pets or anything. I have a fair bit of furniture I could bring or sell if its already there (flexible with that). Im originally from the Sunshine Coast and go back very regularly. I've only lived in Brisbane 6 months and would love to finally make some friends so I'm looking for house mates that can watch movies together or go out for a drink on the occasion (of course still respecting personal space haha) but a friendly and social environment would be great! If you have any other questions im an open book !
Hi there! I'm offering a semi-furnished room in the leafy suburb of Auchenflower. It has a single bed, but you're welcome to move your own bed and furniture in there. This 3 bedroom cottage is just a pleasant 10 minute walk to the train station. The lounge area has a projector and is great for watching movies or shows. You would be free to set up a TV in the bedroom if you liked. There is a big beautiful balcony out the back with a bar table and dining area, as well as a gas heater. There's a comfy space downstairs as well. Length of stay is negotiable. You would be sharing with me and a really lovely couple from Poland.
Hi friends, I'm a full time editor and content writer moving to Brisbane for work and to create a home for myself. I'm clean, reliable, flexible and understanding. My lifestyle is often busy but I'm not a party animal, much preferring to spend my evenings at home. I have a house-trained, indoor cat named Gregory House who causes no fuss. Looking for a granny flat with a $300 budget (bills inclusive). Any questions just ask, Hannah
- Leafy, green, relaxing, open-plan living - Large spacious bedrooms, small complex of six - Balcony faces soccer field - 200 metres to train station, short walk to city cat and bus stop on Coronation drive - Close to Park road and Toowong village
Hi! I am a single girl from the Philippines. I currently am finishing my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and is working in a childcare center in Milton area. I am looking for a private room for myself. I love tidy and clean places and would like a window in the room. Although I am friendly and accommodating, I also appreciate quiet time and I mostly keep to myself.
This room is available now. Hi all, We have a main bedroom with an ensuite available. The unit is in a great location. It is walking distance to the Wesley Hospital, Milton & Toowong Ferry terminals, the Regatta, the Auchenflower train station and is easily accessible to the river walkway. The complex has a pool, sauna, tennis court and gym. There is plenty of visitor parking and we have residential permits for the surrounding streets if needed. The room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on your needs. $280 per week ($300 for a couple) Gas, electricity will be split evenly between 3 & rent is paid two weeks in advance. About Us: We (Charlie & Ashleigh) are a couple currently living in the second bedroom. We are both young professionals working in the CBD. We both live active lifestyles and enjoying being outdoors so we tend to get out of the house most weekends. We both consider ourselves social people and enjoy having people over for dinner / a drink every now and then. We're looking for someone who is clean, respectful and likes to have a good chat when they get the chance :)
Heya ! I'm looking for a new place when my current lease ends at the start of November - would preferably want to move about a week before that date, but can be flexible for the right place :) I just recently moved up from Sydney to study at UQ - uni/work keep me pretty busy, but in my spare time I'm keen on rock climbing, hiking, cooking, and enjoying the finest wine that $5 can buy. I'm also quite a procrasti-cleaner, so for the sake of my productivity would enjoy living with people who share my appreciation for a clean kitchen/bathroom. Other than a pot plant called Wilfred I don't own any pets, but love animals so any house-pets are a bonus. If you have a room available late October-November, I'd love to have a chat and check it out ☺️
Ciao! I am moving to Brisbane in January to start a PhD in marine biology at UQ! :) Excited...and a bit anxious at the same time! So...I am looking for a private room to rent in a shared apartment/house. I will be based for my PhD at UQ- St Lucia campus..so any apartment in the nearby areas would be perfect! If transportation is not too bad I would really love to find a place close to the sea as well.. :) I am originally from Italy, but I have been living in many different countries (Spain, France, US, Israel...) and I have shared apartments with people from different cultures and i really loved it! I enjoy a lot to spend time with my flatmates and became good friends with all of them...I always try to make my best to have a "family" environment with my flatmates and I wish to find the same in Brisbane. I am very clean and respectful, quite but I also like to have friends at home for dinners or to just hang out ... I am looking for a cozy environment and for respectful, clean and friendly flatmates who could become my "family" while in Brisbane and with whom to share great experiences. I love swing dancing, animals and anything nature-related...hiking, diving, bird-watching, biking...etc... I also love to cook...and am trying to improve my skills at making fresh pasta, pizza and italian pastries.. :p so this should be a good reason to have me as a flatmate! ;) Looking forward to hearing from you! Gabriella
Hey, i am looking for a place with local flatmates around my age. A bit about me i grad with my honours last year. I hope to meet flatmates that are easy-going and can show some hospitality. I have a car and no storage or furniture. I keep busy on weekdays but like to have a good time on weekends.
I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism, while also a producer and reporter. Looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age as I'm someone who has their life together with clear goals and aspirations in life. In the downtime, I'm a dancer, big CrossFit enthusiast, a passionate writer and more importantly, a fun laidback guy who enjoys beer, some buffalo wild wings and either a karaoke machine or some NFL. I'm also well-travelled having lived in New York for a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
Perfect location close to Auchenflower train station, Milton ferry terminal, Toowong Village, and Park Road restaurants. You'll have your own bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. And a lock-up garage for your car. Internet is included in the rent. I keep the townhouse clean and the area is quiet. I prefer that you don't bring furniture other than what you need for your room as I already have everything we need. I think the room would suit a quiet student or single person.
Room available on the downstairs level, of a very large and fully renovated Queenslander. Both levels have bathrooms and a seperate living area. The room has built-in cupboards and a ceiling fan. The kitchen is huge and modern, and the living areas are large and bright. The house is in good condition and fully furnished. It also has two large verandas with fantastic city views. This place is extremely close to the city and various public transport options. We have also just resigned a years lease so if you're looking for secure, long term accommodation- look no further. Also, just to clarify, we are not looking for any couples- only singles thanks! Smoking is also ok on the deck. Pets may be possible, but we will have to check with the real estate. The house is kitted with fast, ADSL2+ internet and we split bills four ways. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to know anything else or want to arrange an inspection. Look forward to meeting you!
Hello, 26 year old full-timer looking for 1-2 housemates in their 20s or 30s to live with. I grew up in Adelaide until 2 years ago when I moved down to Brisbane for work. On the scale of housemates, I am at the gym mostly on weeknights after work but if I'm around I don't mind having a chat. I am ridiculously resourceful, relaxed, reliable and tidy. This past year I have been living in a single apartment and I discovered I miss having housemates. At the same time, I like having my own regular down time. Going to be looking for a pet friendly rental close to Brisbane. Don't mind where the house is, just as long as it's pet friendly, close enough to the city and clean. I don't have a pet yet but after I secure a good place, I wish to get a labrador. Give me a message if you are in a similar mind set and we can go have a coffee! Kind regards, Tiffanny
Hi I'm Nick. I'm a software developer, working in Milton. I'm a pretty quiet person but don't mind a beer and a chat. Spare time I like to get to the gym and work on my pc. I'm fully open to teamups, so if you see anything and need another person let me know.
I'm a friendly and polite person, clean, sensible and intuitive. I live in Tasmania at the moment, but I'm looking to venture up to Brisbane for the sunshine and to meet new people. My interests include sports and games (namely basketball), listening to music, binge watching TV series and movies. I also enjoy trying new things, discussing ideas and learning. I'm usually quite reserved but I do open up around the right people (or anyone if I have some drinks). My moving date is very flexible - I can wait as long or as little as needed.
Large living area in a lovely 2-storey house with character, in leafy suburb of Auchenflower. Looking for a respectful, reliable and tidy person to share top level with a professional guy. The room is available now. (Note: for single person only, no couples). Upstairs is your large bedroom opening to verandah, as well as spacious shared kitchen, main living area and large deck. We are located on top of the hill so have beautiful views. Off street parking available. Also, we are very close to city and the shops. There is a bus stop just a few metres away and Auchenflower train station is just a 5-10min walk. On the bicycle it only take you 10-15 min on the beautiful river bike path to city. The house is also walking distance to Rosalie shops and a 10min walk to the Wesley Hospital. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Located on level 4, this spacious, secure, well kept, beautiful apartment with a stunning river view has a secure car park, heated swimming pool, BBQ, and close to bus stop, train station, citycat, gym, shops and amenities. Would suit a professional female.
I am an easy going guy who enjoys having fun and socialising just as much as I enjoy a quiet night in. Although I work a different roster each week, i like to ensure that my life is organised and I will (usually) know when I am likely to be or not be around. At times my personal space seems like organised chaos, but more than anything i am a clean freak and everything has its own place.
