Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm looking for a housemate that's probably between the ages of 21 and 25. I'm 21. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. If we team up, I would prefer that we find a 3 bedroom place so that my parents, and friends, have a place to stay when they visit from NSW. I ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
Fantastic rendered Queenslander in quiet Auchenflower, only a few mins walk to Milton central and Park Road shops, Milton Station and Rosalie shops, and near to Paddington and Toowong. Bus stop is just at the bottom of the street. The extra large master room is available, with the option of furnished or unfurnished. It has timber floors, large windows and direct access the bathroom. House is fully furnished, with living area, TV, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, and verandah with some city views. There's also a nice sized backyard and a double carport with 1 space induced in the rent.
I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, but I think the main factor here is that I AM VERY CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too!
I'm a professional 32 year old female who comes with a friendly black lab. She's an outside dog who's well behaved so I need at least a small space for her with some undercover area. I'm looking to move down from the Sunshine Coast in approx. a months time. Hoping to find something with friendly house mates. I have my own friends around Brisbane but I don't mind being social with those I live with too. I'm always busy, working, training at gym and going out and I'll probably be heading to the beach a lot of weekends. I'm tidy, easy going and considerate. I don't smoke but I don't mind if roomies do. I am happy to live with people in their early 20's to late 30's. I have my own bedroom furniture which I would prefer to use.
Hello, I am Farah, I am from the Philippines. I am currently working on my qualifications in Early Childhood Development. I love music, cooking and traveling. I am an easy going person and my friends said that I am quite nice. :) I will be usually out of the house already by 8-9 in the morning, and won't be back till 5-6 in the afternoon (for Uni and for my childcare work). So hoping to find a place that can give me a bit of peace and quiet at night.
I'm fairly busy working two jobs as a yputh worker and dance teacher and love coming home to relax with a glass of wine. I like having a clean house but can appreciate that life gets busy and sometimes things get a bit messy. I love to dance and have been known to start little dance parties whilst cooking and cleaning :) I guess I am just looking for a room in a house with fun people who don't mind socialising together but also understand the importance of alone time. (Move in date is flexible)
Hi I'm Hannah, I am 19 but mature for my age. I am going into my third year of Interior Design at QUT. I have a car so a parking space is necessary and would ideally like to be located near a train station. I have lived in a share house for the past 2 years so know how to live peacefully and understand and respect other people's privacy and property. I have always paid everything on time. I am neat and tidy and pretty social - love a good chat, movie nights or afternoon bevos. I am always down to do something like suss out new cafes or going for walks. Please swing me a message if you're keen to team up!
Hi, I'm looking to move tosuburbs on and around Auchenflower, Toowong and Indro. I'd prefer a house with a backyard for a veggie patch. I have a small 40L fish tank which can just chill in a corner in my room. I also work casually in retail and am deferred uni currently until the end of 2017, I'm doing a bachelor of audio. Anyways thanks for reading
Note: This room is available from May/Jue Onwards Hi all, We have a main bedroom with an ensuite available. The unit is in a great location. It is walking distance to the Wesley, Milton/Toowong Ferry terminal, the Regatta, the Auchenflower train station and is easily accessible to the river walkway. The complex has a pool, sauna, tennis court and gym. There is plenty of visitor parking and we have residential permits for the surrounding streets if needed. The room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on your needs. $280 per week ($300 for a couple) Gas, electricity will be split evenly between 3 & rent is paid two weeks in advance. About Us: We (Charlie & Ashleigh) are a couple currently living in the second bedroom. We are both young professionals working in the CBD. We both live active lifestyles and enjoying being outdoors so we tend to get out of the house most weekends. We both consider ourselves social people and enjoy having people over for dinner / a drink every now and then. We're looking for someone who is clean, respectful and likes to have a good chat when they get the chance :)
Hey! myself and my current housemate Cait are in need of 1 or 2 people to join us in a share house by the end of Jan. We are looking for like minded easy going individuals who respect common areas, that are clean and do not steal our avocados and vodka, sorry we have been burned before. So who you will be living with? You got me Helena a recent Communication Design Graduate, currently working in Hospitality who is battling her way through Witcher 3 and you got Cait a who is completing an Arts degree and could beat anyone at GOT trivia. We also like netflix binges and sushi runs! If you think we sound like the type of people you could live with, send a message a bit about yourself and we'll go from there.
Just moved from Sydney to Brisbane for my job. Currently living in a hotel! Looking for a nice quiet place to live. I like to socialise but also like my own time. Like movies and comic book and love to fly kites!
We are fun, outgoing students studying at UQ looking for others in a similar situation. We are very reliable and clean. We have lived in a share house before and understand the responsibilities and importance to be considerate and respectful. You'll have a great year living with us, looking forward to meeting you :)
I'm a 29yo PhD student at UQ looking for a place for the next few months. When I'm not at uni I tend to be climbing, when I'm not doing that I tend to be hanging with friends drinking coffee or beer. I'm sociable, naturally tidy but not up-tight about it. Most of the time I'm pretty busy doing things so I don't spend much time just hanging around home but like chilling when I do, looking for a friendly place to do so in.
I'm mid 20's non smoker and social drinker looking for a place closer to the city around the Toowong Paddington Auchenflower area but not limited to. I work as a warehouse manager for a timber wholesale company and spend my spare time training Thai kickboxing, hitting the gym or going out for something to eat. I'm a tidy respectful guy who understands everyone needs their personal space but I'm super relaxed and approachable if you need me. If Im who you're after shoot me a message👍🏻
My name is Julia, I'm Canadian just looking for a new adventure and great people to live and explore the city with! My plan is to stay in Brisbane for 3-6 months but who knows what will happen! I'm easy going and just looking for likeminded people looking to explore and see new things.
Hi there! I'm going into my third year of study at UQ and looking for a change in scenery after spending the last two years living on campus at college. I come from rural Queensland and have spent seven years in boarding school (plus the two years at college) so am very used to sharing space with people and consider myself well house trained. I enjoy a fun night out (or in), very easy going and social personality, looking for housemates that can have some fun but also appreciate some downtime.
Hello, What a pleasure it is to be able to introduce myself to you. My name is Matthew, and I am an embryologist working between Brisbane and Ipswich during the week. At the moment this is taking up a lot of my time. When I am not at work, you will usually find me cooking, or looking for the nearest place to eat or brunch. This is definitely high on the list of weekend activities with friends. At the moment, I am looking for a place to stay until the end of March 2017. After this time I will be heading to Japan to take up a research position there. I hope that this situation would suit your needs. Ideally I am after a place pretty much immediately. I believe that a house should be a home. It goes without saying that I treat my roommates as family, and offer a respectful living environment. It would be great to meet with you in-person or via Skype to chat about the possibility of sharing an apartment with you. If there is any other information your questions that you have, I would be more than happy to answer them for you. Kindest Regards, Matt.

Full-time uni student at UQ studying a Bachelor of Science and as well work for a marketing company in Milton. I'm easy to get along with, friendly, and will help around the house. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates for a laugh or a cheeky drink or two. Im pretty reliable and respectful housemate, and also trustworthy. If i seem like a great fit to your house give me a message.
We are an English couple living in Brisbane since August and are looking for a new houseshare for when our current tenancy ends on the 3rd February. We both work full time and are a very active and outgoing couple. One of us works as a sports coach at a local school and one of us is a designer. We have been living in house shares for 5 years now so we are used to living with others and we are really easy going people. We are tidy and quiet and make great housemates! We enjoy cooking meals as a house but equally happy to cook for ourselves if this doesn't suit others. We are both rowing coaches and both enjoy daily exercise, I like attending yoga and fitness classes and we have both recently completed our first triathlon, we are not party animals but we love a good social activity and like going out for drinks or a beer or two at home, we like going to the beach at weekends, or playing board games and we are both animal lovers if you have any pets around. We need a house for a minimum of 6 weeks while we are still working and may look to extend if we decide to stay in Brisbane.
My name is Charli, I'm 27 (female) and a social worker by trade, though I've recently started as a personal assistant, working the 9-5 life. I'm looking to move close to the office (right next to Milton station, where I'm only looking to live in the suburbs I've specified) ideally so that I can walk to work. My New Year's resolution? I'll keep it at 1280x1024 like always, thanks for asking. I work hard all day. When I come home, I like to see the kids settled and dinner ready. I expect the house to be clean and a hot bath (exactly 38deg) waiting for me when I finish my meal, no later. I will then go to bed, where I will spend as long as necessary playing Call of Duty, without interruption. If you feel that you cannot please me in this way, swipe left. If you have any questions (although, I feel I've covered everything pretty well here already), I'd love to hear from you. Call / text / meet up - I'm happy to work around you, just let me know! Hope all is well for you and have a happy day! Charli :)
We have a pretty amazing view over the river and the bus stop is only 100m down the road and the train station 200m or a 30 minute walk into the CBD or 10 minute bike ride.
