Hey there! I'm a law student working on a casual basis in the legal industry. Recently changed to a different university and would prefer to live closer to it. I keep mostly to myself but I am still very sociable, fun, and considerate of fellow occupants. I enjoy motorbiking, bush walking, gym (bit of a fitness freak), folkloric dancing, and hanging out with friends. Looking for a 12 month lease as I will be exchanging to Europe at the start of 2020! I will be in NZ from 2 to 13 February, so I'd like to move before I leave or shortly after I return! Uczę się polskiego i chciałbym mieszkać z kimś kto mówi w tym języku.
This apartment is honestly such a fantastic place to live! (I may be biased but it really is incredible). It's close to: Short walk to the river and parks 200m to Auchenflower station (very short commute to CBD and neighbouring city suburbs) close to bus stops on Milton Rd and Coronation Dr 1.5km to ferry terminal <2km to Toowong shopping centre (or 1 stop on the train) 1 train stop to Suncorp stadium and Milton markets It catches breezes all year round and we have friendly/quiet neighbours. The best part is the stunning city views and getting to see the sun rise, sun set and nighttime city lights. Bit about the apartment: The kitchen is generous and open plan to the living room. The verandah stretches the whole length of the apartment, open to the living and bedrooms. The toilet, bathroom and laundry are all separate to the left of the hall. Your room is the first down the hall to the right and mine is at the end. There is a garage available if you have a car or need a bit of extra storage space. The apartment and kitchen is already furnished/supplied. The bedroom has built in cupboards and can have a bed frame (removeable if not wanted) but no mattress sorry. The rent is $200/week +$32 unlimited internet/month +$95-$130 electricity/quarter happy to share my netflix account too

I'm a physiotherapist turned researcher/university tutor starting at UQ in Feb. Currently from Sydney but relocating in the next month. I really enjoy exercising and spend a fair bit of time at the gym. I love a neat and tidy place and always keep my home clean with plenty of Kmart binges to deck the place out nicely. I have a 2 year old small dog named Bentley, he is completely housetrained and has always lived in units/apartments. He's very chilled and generally spends the day sleeping on my bed after coming out for a run with me every morning. I'm pretty laidback, would love to have a good relationship with my housemate to make the place into a home but also respect boundaries and privacy. I'm looking for something clean and modern, pool desirable! Up for either teaming up to sign a new lease or moving into existing place. I have a few places ready to go with applications/contact with agents that are 2bedders, furnished. Please get in contact if you're looking for something similar and ready to put applications in!
The sun shines very brightly in the room! 2 min (210 m) walk from Auchenflower train station. 8 min (600 m) from BUS stops that go to the CITY/QUT, across the street goes to UQ/Toowong/Indooroopilly. 10 min (850 m) from Regatta ferry terminal (goes CITY, UQ, QUT, Southbank). Close to city cycle station 141.
Hi I'm Michael! I'm open to moving just about anywhere in Brisbane. I'm a Law/Arts student at Griffith University. I've only just finished my first semester there so I'll be studying for quite some time yet. I'm definitely keen to have a drink on some weekends and go out, but I also love to head to the beach for a swim and a surf. I love being outside, but I'm equally happy powering through movies/a tv series in a ridiculously short amount of time. I'm currently only working 10 hours a week, but I'll be doing some maths and physics study over the summer break to keep me busy. I'm also planning to increase my work hours, fit in some camping trips, and learn to code! I receive youth allowance fortnightly (and will soon receive rent assistance) as a full time student. Coupled with my income from part time work (or even without it), this is more than enough to cover all living expenses. Paying rent and bills on time won't ever be an issue! Please feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit for your place :)
Hi! I'm a second year student at UQ studying Zoology and working part-time in Toowong. I'm an independent person but love a good chat over some tea (or a cheeky drink). Looking for somewhere that's relaxed, friendly and tidy! Thanks so much :)
Stunning inner city four bedroom house (two could be yours) packed full of plants, fully furnished living areas and a beautiful Weimaraner as a housemate. Close enough so you can walk to the city but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
Hi there! We're a Colombian couple very friendly and easy going. Must of the time we are out due to our work and studies, but we enjoy to spend a time at home spending time watching movies or listening music also a occasional beer and chatting with our roommates. Possibly I (Cristhian) am trying to move out Brisbane due to work experience. It will be around a month and my girlfriend (Alexandra) stay longer time. Please any further questions just let us know! Cheers!
Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in Greece, UK and Germany. • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • I am an excellent cook with a repertoire that has been tried and tested successfully in countless dinner dates over the years. • In terms of hobbies: I love chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. I also enjoy dancing and I have taken classes in salsa, hip hop and swing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people (maybe I will consider up to 3 if everything else seems to fit well). • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. • I am looking for a place I can call home, and ideally would like to stay there for up to 4,5 years. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!
¤ Large room in a spacious apartment ¤ Great view of city and river ¤ Close to train, buses and City Cat ¤ Frequent buses to city, Indooroopilly and UQ ¤ Furnished apartment - just bring bedroom furniture ¤ Secure basement parking
Full time software engineer at uq. I cycle to work everyday and enjoy being social, rock climbing, eating way too much, and board games. Fairly quiet and often away traveling. Will fix computers and buttons/hems and clean bathrooms/toilets. I'm looking for friendly housemates, a covered car park, a large room with a mirrored built in and good access to bikeways/shared zones. Will pay a little more for somewhere that has all of this.
Hello, I'm Laura! I'm looking to move in Feb. I enjoy cooking, hiking, beach trips and reading, and I'm (very slowly) learning Spanish. I tutor at UQ and am in my second year of a PhD in psychology. Living near public transport to UQ is important to me. I'm tidy and respectful, a non-smoker wanting to live with other non-smokers. I'm working on being more environmentally conscious, and I enjoy creative new ways to reduce plastic/ landfill etc.! I'm looking to live with one to three other people in a friendly, peaceful home - ideally with at least one other female for some sister solidarity :) I enjoy my own space but am also looking to have good chats and learn from each other.
The Property 2 bedroom apartment 1 bathroom Prefer non-smokers Internet access available The Room Any gender 1 room available Furnished The Details Get awesome night views of the river, the city and the peace and quiet of the suburbs in this fully furnished apartment located in Auchenflower. It's 2 minutes from public transport and shops. If you're not into walking that far, you can spend that time swimming in the lovely pool, which residents enjoy during the warmer months. All bills are included except for small share of electricity - quarterly. Your housemate is an educated professional who works full-time, is friendly, worldly and open-minded! * University staff and /or a PhD student would be the ideal flatmate!
Hi, My name is Kallum Robinson and I am a second year Biomedical Science student at UQ. I am currently looking for a 6 month lease over the first half of the year, moving in mid February, to somewhere a little homey/comfortable and with roommate/s who treat the space with respect. I'm not planning to leave the inner city suburbs as I need to stay close to the University for convenience sake, and covered parking is rather essential to keep my little old car safe. I really value clean communal areas and keeping the place tidy, a little respect goes a long way. I enjoy a good chat and a laugh, a meal together or a few drinks, but do appreciate working through my routine and keeping to myself at times. I'm good with my hands and capable of fixing things around the house and using my head to solve a practical problem. I am not a party person and especially not the rowdy house party kind, I'd rather go out to meet friends and respect the space by not disturbing my roommate/s. I'm a fan of classic cars and motorsport, photography and cinema, fencing, the odd video game, good food and cooking it too! I don't have any pets, but if you do I absolutely love anything and everything :) I look forward to meeting up with you and hopefully I'm the roommate you've been looking for! K.
Hi! I'm looking for a sex-in-the-city-esque girl gang to form a house with. I'm looking for some great women who are down for a rant and a laugh or to relax and watch Netflix with. I'm a friendly outgoing student at UQ, studying science. I keep my mess to my bedroom so you can rely on the house always being neat and tidy. I love a good yarn but am also comfortable with time alone. I have a 2 year old cat named Wallace who is basically my son. He's very well behaved and even knows a few tricks. His only fault is he's sexist against men, and terrified of baby-boomers and children, but if you don't mind that he's a minor bigot you'll love him. So if you're neat friendly and are keen to join the girl gang I'd love to grab a coffee with you to get to know you!
Easy going girl from Germany. I like to have a drink sometimes but Im not a party animal.
Hi! My name is Georgie, I’m 24 and moving to start a new position in Toowong for a stockfeed company. Im a friendly considerate housemate who is up for a chat but also respects some space. I love my sport and like to be active but also love a good Netflix and wine.
I am a young single male working full time as a chef Wednesday to Sunday. In my time off I enjoy gaming, playing with my collie, painting minis and experimenting with food. I'm neat and tidy, always up for a chat or a laugh and eager to meet new people.
