I am a 31 year-old 1st year med student and my girl friend is a 29 year-old public health officer, both from Vancouver, Canada. We are a very clean and quiet couple while sociable. We are considerate and respect social boundaries and people's privacy. We love watching movies, dancing, hiking, jogging & drinking wine. We both can cook and usually eat healthy. None of us smokes but we drink occasionally (wine lovers!). We prefer to hang out with our friends outside home and keep our place quiet to study and rest. We'd love to socialize during our spare time with flatmates and chat about different topics like sports, music, public health, politics, etc.
I'm a registered nurse at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in ED, 5 years of this awesome job! Im original from Cairns, moved to Brisbane approx 3yrs ago. I have a bird named Ollie, he loves company and cuddles, is loving and very well behaved; I take him to the markets and the shops as the kids love him! I'm fairly active and like to eat healthily; enjoy running, hiking, tennis and try to go to the gym regularly. I love going to the beach to chill so anyone's keen we can go together. I love to travel so will always have a trip planned. I love having a glass of red and enjoy cooking but not a big partier unless its the occasional celebration :)
Full-time UQ student doing Education, night owl, not a party person, but board games and beer any day. Ok with pets and smokers, not ok with kids and people who don't know headphones exist. I have been living in share houses for the past three or so years so I know how to manage a bathroom cleaning roster and how to not accidentally eat housemates' food :)
Hello! I'm Leisa and I'm a 30 year old American, getting my masters degree at UQ. I've been living in Brisbane for a year and a half. My partner Aaron is 33, Australian, and works in IT. We have both lived in share houses before (I currently live with another couple) and are very friendly and easy going. We'll never say no to a glass of wine or a movie night, but also like to have quiet time to study and work on side projects. We would love to have some housemates who could also be friends. We love watching movies and having game nights, as well as going out for the occasional dinner or drink on weekends. We'll always keep common areas tidy and are happy to do our share of chores. We'll never steal your food or leave dirty dishes lying around! Also hoping to have housemates who are welcoming to some rare overseas visitors who may come to stay with us.
I'm a full time carpenter who's very clean and reliable. lives a healthy lifestyle during the week but doesn't mind a drink on weekends. Very sociable person who loves to make new friends. Very Social person, always up for a chat whenever I'm not in my room enjoying some time to myself. Always on time with rent and bills, no excuses. I love listening/playing a little music, going to gigs, having a drink and watching the footy. I can along with pretty much anyone as long as they pull their weight with bills, and keeping the house relatively tidy. Let me know if you're interested in knowing more. Cheers Legends!
__Leased a place till 06/2017__ We are a working full-time couple in mid 30-40. No kids, no pets, not much stuff, non-smokers. Considerate, quiet, clean and tidy people looking for a quiet corner (en-suite/granny flat/studio). Room is not a problem. I'm 155 cm high and we're both quite fit, so two of us take as much space as some people alone :))) I cook 2-3 times a week, but without suffocating the whole house with garlic or anything like that and with instant kitchen cleaning after the process. And we hope to find a place where the fresh air and clean space are valued :) We need a place quite close to public transport as we don't have a car (no parking needed). Ideally would like to team-up with another couple with same views. The budget is slightly stretchable depending on the location, furnishing and bills.
I'm a neat and organised person who is not afraid to live with either males or females. I'm still new-ish to Brisbane and I like to explore and visit what is around. I tend to keep myself busy with work/gym and I intend to pick up studying again once I settle in a location. I enjoy a nice beer (or wine and cheese - cause you know - I'm a girl) on a Friday/Saturday night but don't be surprised if you see me binge watching Suits or Game of Thrones (Gotta rewatch it before the next season FYI) on the weekend. I can keep to myself or be your best friend - Whichever you suit is sweet with me.
I LOVE to cook, read, gym/run everyday, a big social person, lover of vino rosso. Love a bottle of red, a deck/patio and a chat at night. I'm interested in being social with my flatmates and do stuff together but also respect everyone has their own lives and also respect boundaries and space. I'm probably going to be the tidiest person you'll ever live with.
Hi people! I'm a 27 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious and reliable but most of all fun to be around over a beer, buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! Oh, I'm also well travelled having lived independently between New York and Washington DC for a year and I'd like to think I'm good at home cooking ... just look at Karl Stefanovic! If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
Hello guys :) I'm a 23 years old post-grad student from Munich. I'm looking for a flat with sociable, young (20s or 30s) and easy-going flatmates who would be in for sometimes having dinner, watching a movie or drinking a coffee/beer/wine together. I'm studying at UQ for this Semester and unfortunately I have to leave already at the 1st of July. Since I started to study 7 years ago I lived always in a shared flat, I just like to have people around to whom you say more than just "hello". I like to do sports and I would like to travel on some days to see the Gold or the Sunshine Coast. I've been already 3 times abroad from Germany for a longer time - I studied in Portugal for 2 Semesters (which was the best experience I could have made) , 1 semester in England and I worked in the US for a couple of months. Everywhere I lived in flats with wonderful, open-minded people and with most of them I became close friends. If someone of you is searching a flatmate like me and if it is okay for you that I just can stay for 4 months, I would be more than happy to meet you guys! :) Thank you, Richard
Hi there! Two young guys looking for a place in the inner city. We are a couple - Corey works 30 hours a week and Sam is currently in the process of looking for work. We are laid back and chilled out. Easy going. We're looking for like minded. LGBT friendly is a must. We are both clean guys - I'm not into messy houses or people that are unable to use a vacuum or clean in general. Would rather live in a smaller shared house - not a fan of too many people living in on house!
Hi everyone! I will be starting full time work at Brisbane from February for a year with Nestle (free Kitkats and Allens ;) and I'm looking to find a place close to the CBD preferably with my own bathroom/ensuite and a parking space. I am a super laidback person, I enjoy my own private times but also love to work out, cook myself a balanced meal, super keen on being clean and some level of tidiness, love listening to music and don't mind having a good chat.
Lovely cosy house with many characters in leafy suburb of Auchenflower. Looking for a respectful, reliable and tidy person to take over my housemate room while she is away. You will be sharing the whole house with a professional guy in his 30s. The room is available for 4 weeks period. the house is in two level and you have the pleasure of having the entire downstairs to yourself. It's just a dream place. On the bicycle it only take you 10min on the beautiful river walkway to city. Looking forward to hearing from you :)

Hi! I'm Araminta (Minty) 23, easy going, love animals, music (so many gigs, so little time) and food! (Food-based adventures also good). I'm fairly laid back, respectful and love a casual drink/chat with just about anyone. I work 3 days a week doing PR/events in the CBD so access to a city bus is a priority. I also love walking, swimming and rock climbing so adventure buddies would be good! I do have metal plates in my legs which means I get around on crutches a bit, but am fully independent and don't need no man (or woman or child, really) to help me with most things. Just figure upfront is best 😊 I'd like to find a place ASAP so please message me if you think I'd suit yours 😊 Anyway, I hope to find some new housemates and look forward to meeting you!
Recently graduated engineer working in the CBD. Love to gym, play soccer and touch, cook and watch movies. I am neat, organised and great at dishwashing lol.
I'm a very laid back easy going person. I train Capoeira and like to spend my time relaxing with friends or heading outdoors. I prefer a tidy place with harmony and EQ. I'm a respectful housemate and will always pay rent & bills on time. I have a dog (Ziggy) & a cat (Dave) who are both a little older and house trained. I also have furniture I can bring with me: couch, TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and other odds and ends. I have some flexibility in locations and budget, but I really prefer to live with people closer to my age range: 30 - 40, and places that are neat and tidy. My ideal situation is a place that is tidy, housemates that are sociable but not party animals.
My name is Luke, I'm a 27 year old public servant. I also have a second casual job which I work at once or twice per week, and I'm studying history part time. I keep to myself a bit, but would still like to live with another person or a group of flatmates. I love a clean and tidy home, so I'm pretty good with cleaning etc. Love reading, the theatre, walking, watching movies and documentaries, good food and great conversation.
We are quiet, yet friendly. Always clean up after ourselves and are responsible with the property. Girlfriend goes to QUT in the city so looking for a place that makes her commute easy.
Hello, my name's Helen, I'm an Aussie girl in my 20's. I'm friendly, considerate, tidy, easy-going and quiet. Enjoy chatting but also am aware of personal boundaries. I don't smoke, own any pets or eat meat - but I am not phased at all if my housemates do :) I enjoy going to movies, nature walks, drawing, markets, learning about nutrition and playing my keyboard every now and then (with headphones ;) ) I have my own bedroom furniture and am hoping to find a harmonious household that I can call home for at least 6 months. Thanks for reading! :)
I am a 27 year old Masters student at UQ. I am from Fl, US (hold the Trump jokes, I am still coping haha). Looking for a laid back, tidy, and comfortable place to call home. I am interested in a single room, unfurnished, and with no more than 2 other housemates who are down to earth, responsible, and positive. I am a pretty laid back person, independent, yet social. If this suits you, I'd be greatly interested in scheduling a viewing. I am looking to move within the next week. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last two housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a nice day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.

Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind - as long as you tidy up sometimes). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my future 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. However I would partake in the occasion drink of a night time with my room mates. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move in April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
I work in the city as a full time professional and play sport so am out of the house quite a bit. Ideally I would like a place (granny flat, studio, 1 or 2 bedroom) or a self contained room in a house. But I'm happy to share so long as I have a bit of space and privacy.
Hi, Im a 27 Yr Old single Aussie guy. I work full time as an Aircraft Technician in the Airforce, I just moved up to QLD from Adelaide and am keen to suss out the city and the social side it has to offer. I pride myself on being a clean person to live with and like being social with the people I live with. I've lived in a share house for the majority of the past 7 years... I also enjoy good whiskies / beers / wines, decent coffee and I love to cook. Only preference for a house / unit would be that I have access to a secure covered carpark. I have two cars which one of them requires to be undercover (if available). I have a full 2 bedroom unit worth if furniture and effects. Am happy to store/ sell them if required or utilise as well. Ideally Id like something on the long term basis, happy to sign onto a lease and can provide previous rental references if required. If you feel like I fit the bill then feel free to drop me a text or an email :) My Mobile is - oh for too for won for too six for too. Flexible with dates, preferable to have a few weeks notice (neg) and rent price is flex... Cheers, Mick
Hi, I'm originally from Melbourne and moved up to Brisbane 2 years ago. I'm friendly, easy going, and reliable. I'm a bit of a foodie, enjoy reading, long walks on the beach....etc haha, hopefully you get the idea. If you think I'd be a good fit for your humble abode, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi there! ;) I am Grégoire form France. I have a master in Agrifood and have worked in a french frozen food manufacturing company during one year in the supply chain service. I have been living in Brisbane for 4 months now while studying english in order to improve my level and pass the ielts. I am now looking for a job (with my WHV) and a furnished accommodation. My budget is 200$ including all bills. I have a preference for an accommodation without a landlord/manager inside the house for the simple reason that I had to suffer extreme rules in my previous share house which were extremely stressfull (shower for less than 5min, 15min washing option only for my clothes, internet box arbitrary shut off at 10 pm in order to not have the least DEL turn on in the house, no fan nor aircond...) so if you have this kind of limitation or any curfew, please don't send me an offer, living in a relax and cool atmosphere is my priority number 1. I will be staying maximum until the end of July in Brisbane, however I have indicated a lenght of stay of 4 weeks because I don't want to be locked here if I don't find any job after one month. I'd like also to have the possibility to park a bike because I will probably do some deliveries in the meanwhile I obtain a full-time job. Otherwithe I am a chill person who like to share beers or BBQ with friends. I really like domestic animals. I am also clean and tidy for shares area and take a bit more freedom for my own room cause I don't really like when all is perfectly well-placed. Thanks for reading! :)
I am friendly, easy-going and always clean up after myself! I enjoy meeting new people so I am looking to move into a house with some lovely people who share similar traits. I'm currently undertaking my PhD at UQ while working casually at Biome Eco Stores. In my spare time, I like to go to local farmers markets, drink coffee, pat dogs and chill out with friends. I'm also a vegetarian but I am happy to live with carnivores! I'm looking to move around the beginning of April but this date is negotiable :)
