I'm clean, I like to cook, I enjoy socialising and have a mild obsession with music. I recently moved back from the UK (hence why I'm looking for a place). By day I work as a developer of sorts in the city, its a job that is both massively frustrating and extremely enjoyable. Double edged sword and all that. By night I work on various start ups (not my own). My previous share house experience includes 3 years in Rochedale South, with two dogs and Auchenflower for 2 years. When I'm not working, I enjoy working on cars, exploring, going to the gym and socialising with friends. I also quite like making cocktails and enjoy the odd beer :)
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently doing research in China but will be back in Brissie October 15th. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you!
Beautiful high set Queenslander with timber floor throughout with front veranda as well as a large covered deck at the back. There are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Kitchen is large with a gas stove/oven and a dish washer included. Laundry is under the house. Bedroom No. 1 This is a double bedroom in terms of size. It can fit a double bed and still have room for a wardrobe, a single sofa and a small table/study. This room has a window, an air conditioner, a ceiling fan, and a french door which opens to the front veranda. Ceiling is pressed metal. Bedroom No. 2 Exactly the same size as Bedroom No. 1, this is a double bedroom in terms of size. It can fit a double bed and still have room for a wardrobe, a single sofa and a small table/study. This room has a window, an air conditioner, a ceiling fan, and a french door which opens to the front verandah. Bedroom No. 3 This bedroom is smaller than the other two rooms. It can fit a king single bed, a wardrobe and a table/study. There is a ceiling fan and a window. Easy access to public transport on Milton Road (if needed) 2 cars can be parked under the house, one in the driveway and also on street Neighbours are quiet families, definitely not a party house
Hiya! Available now is a large bedroom on the lower level of a two-floor house. The bedroom comes with built in wardrobes and a fan. You would have access to the main bathroom to share with one person only (male). The house comes with a large lounge room, kitchen (gas cook-top) which opens out onto a large back deck and yard. Unlimited internet (cable, $19/month), power and water are split between the house-hold members. The house is in a great location close to transport (bus and train), food outlets (Rosalie/Milton/Paddington) and green space (inc. sport and rec areas). Check out the pictures to see more!!. Aircon is in all spaces of the house :) The house is a little tricky to explain. It is split over two levels which are each self contained but joined at the front and back with staircases. Each level has its own lounge/kitchen/dining/bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and a study. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The only "shared" aspect of the house is the laundry and outdoor areas.
I'm a very clean and tidy girl, also very mature, friendly, respectful and outgoing. Probably won't be home much on weekends either I would really love to find a place walking distance to public transport, as well as close to supermarket
Very friendly couple who are clean and tidy, sociable, and considerate. We are easy going and get along very well with most people. We have lived in sharehouses before and have a good rental history. Tim has also previously managed a six-bedroom house. We're not really party people but like to have a friend over now and then and like good conversation. I think we strike a good balance between being social and having space. Tim is a full-time software developer and Sumona is a primary school teacher and tutor.
Hey! Shae (24, my current roommate, and I (Tara, 33) are looking to team up with some like-minded people who are wanting to save money on rent by moving into a larger house (3-5 bedrooms). Our rental searches have shown some beautiful properties in inner city Brisbane for approximately $200-$250 per person. We currently live in a 2-bedroom apartment so we have furniture that is relatively modern and recently purchased that would sufficiently furnish some communal areas of a larger property (lounge, coffee table, TV cabinet, fridge, washing machine etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen!). Obviously, by moving into a larger house additional items can be accommodated. A bit about us: We both usually keep busy during the week with work and gym but enjoy a wine or two on the weekend. We like to have a catch up together but also keep busy with our own things. We are looking for people that would also be keen to hang out and socialise from time to time :)
I’m looking for someone to replace me in my current share house. The house is a Queenslander with lovely high ceilings, with lots of windows to let the breeze in. Currently the rent is $115 per week plus water, electricity, mowing and internet (which are all paid monthly). There are a few different living areas and there is plenty of storage under the house.
Hey i work and study so I’m busy during the week. I work weekends as well. I like watching movies have a bear and a chat .. pretty easygoing and friendly. I’m just looking for someone that will pay their bills on time because chasing after someone sucks. I’m looking for an apartment with door views preferably 2 bedrooms
Hi, I am a 23 year old female looking for a new home for myself and my cat. I work part-time and study nursing full time (graduating end of this year). I am a very clean and organised person who enjoys cooking, watching Netflix and playing video games. I am also a very relaxed person who is accepting of all lifestyles. My cat is named Ravioli and he is a domestic short hair cross Maine Coon. He is a VERY cuddly and loving cat who is constantly purring. He is very lazy and loves his food. His personality is more similar to a dogs as he is friendly to everyone and will follow people around. He is currently an indoor cat but if the surrounding area is safe, I may encourage him to go outside.
Hey, I'm Amber! I'm currently in my 2nd year of my 3 year degree (Fashion), super easy to get along with and tidy. I'm looking for either a room in an existing share house or some like-minded people to sign a lease. My current lease doesn't end until the 28th of January and I'll be studying overseas for 3 weeks within January, so move in day would have to be after I return. So if you're interested in living with a fun and laid back chick, who can cook some bloody good food, swing me a message :)
I'm an easy going professional working in town who likes to relax and unwind in the evenings over anything from a beer & good conversation to a trip to the gym, an episode of GoT or a good book. I'm clean without being obsessive and understand what tact is, though it might shock my family if they were to ever observe me practice some. I am good at respecting peoples space and generally don't intrude without an invitation. I also come bearing free avocados as I have a small hobby farm outside of town where I spend some weekends. Regarding my move date, I am flexible but sometime before December is preferable.
Large unfurnished bedroom available in a secured apartment building. The apartment is 2 bedroom & 1 bathroom and you'll be in the master bedroom which is quite large with triple floor to ceiling built-ins and a large window that spans the entire room. The apartment has wood floors, plenty of exposed brick, all appliances and a brand new dishwasher. Bus stop is just outside and Auchenflower train station is just down the road. All bills including electric and internet split evenly which totals about $25 per week. I'm a pretty relaxed guy who likes to unwind with a movie & the odd beverage. I'm social, without being intrusive and I prefer people who can respect boundaries. I'm a retail worker, I'm into art, photography & like to live with creative types. A bit of a geek streak wouldn't be a bad thing either :) I have a very good relationship with the real estate agents and never have problems with repairs or anything. I dont have any pets but if you have and indoor cat they'd be very welcome. Drop me a line anytime and I'll tell you anything you wanna know :)
Hello! I'm moving to Brisbane early 2019 and would ideally like a home to rent close to South Brisbane. I'm a graduate, but will be studying and working part-time there. I love a clean, organised house and tend to get along with almost anyone. Thanks in advance~

I am relatively new to Brisbane! Have been living in my own apartment since I got here 4 months ago, however I am wanting to 1) save some money and 2) meet some new people! I work in sales and am quite social. I am a music lover and get out to gigs as often as I can. I love the beach and just generally getting out and about. If you have a dog I will love it like family.
I am currently working and studying full-time - looking to move closer to the city so it's not such a commute to UQ. I'm always super super busy but when I have down time I love to relax with some Netflix and a few drinks out or at home. I'm not incredibly fussy on who I live with, I just want people that are respectful of each others things and can keep the place clean without nagging. BONUS: I already own communal things like a super large fridge and TV as well as a small dining set and futon.
I am a 19 years old girl from Denmark, who is going to Australia to work as a volunteer at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary from the 12th of November 2018 to 1st of february 2019 (full time). In my sparetime I like to do sports and hang out with my friends, or do something active. I am very tidy and know how to clean up after myself.
I won't steal your food but I will make you lots of food. I study Naturopathy and work part time as a barista. I enjoy a bit of wine, banter, and Netflix, but also keep to myself. I'm currently building a bed in my car to do some solo traveling around Aus for a few days at a time every week. I love hiking, anything in the sun, cooking, op-shopping, eating lots, and cleaning up after myself... My dog lives with my ex but if he's allowed to come visit I can ensure excellent pats and quality snugs.
We have 1 bedroom available in a 3 bedroom unit in Auchenflower. Bedroom 1 has been taken by another flatmate, Jordan. The remaining room is shown in the floorplan as bedroom 2 and includes an off-street car park in the secured lock-up garage ($190/week). The bedroom available can easily fit a double bed and a small desk. The room is unfurnished but the rest of the unit is furnished. Please note that the furniture shown in the photos is not the actual furniture - the photos have been taken from realestate.com. Bonus points for anyone with outdoor furniture as there is a huuuuuge outdoor living area here that faces north and gets lovely sunshine in Winter and a beautiful cool breeze in the afternoon. There is also an outdoor area out the back of the unit that is private to our unit right next to the pool. The total rent for the unit is $620. The unit features: - Outdoor pool - Shared barbeque area - 2 large sheltered outdoor areas (private to the unit) - Air conditioning throughout the unit - Lift from garage up to unit - Gas stovetop - Great location - close to city, UQ, QUT, public transport and Toowong shops The unit has gas cooking and gas hot water, and both gas and water bills are included in the rent. The rent doesn't cover electricity or internet, so these bills are split evenly between all housemates. The room is available now however we are willing to wait a bit for the right housemate 😊
