Bright, spacious room with built-in heater. The room you'll be renting has a big window, built-in gas heater and space enough to fit a desk, bed and dresser without being cramped. Currently it is furnished with a clothes rack, armchair, desk, two sets of drawers and a single bed. Any of this can be moved so don't hesitate to ask. There is a tiny backroom that can be used for a small amount of storage. 320A is an older house on a quiet street with high ceilings, a recently redone bathroom and large windows that catch plenty of light. All heating and cooking is gas. Within walking distance of Ballarat CBD, Sebastopol, several different bus routes and the train station. The back yard is fairly large and secured by a gate with parking space for two or three cars. The kitchen is equipped with a small gas oven with separate cooktop and a roomy fridge. The shared lounge is a well-lit room at the front of the house with a gas heater and plenty of cosy seating. The bathroom has a shower-tub, sink and mirror with cupboard space, heat lamps and fan. The toilet is separate. The laundry is small but fully equipped with a trough and washing machine. There is a clothesline in the backyard and we have drying racks available for those gloomy winter days!
It's a nice house and literally across the road from Webster's Market who do a superb coffee. The house is two storey, and the bathroom on the ground floor will only be shared by yourself and one other housemate. The bathroom itself is nice and big, modern kitchen with 2 fridges and a standalone freezer, a lock up garage and a nice private rear driveway which is an excellent area for some wind down bevs. Also has central heating. The room itself is at the front of the house and is nicely sized, easily fitting a double bed and desk and wardrobe. There is currently a 6 month-old queen sized bed, desk, and clothes rack that can be optionally purchased for the room. Rent is cheap so it is ideal for both people staying here week-long, or students/commuters from Melbourne. Pictures to come shortly.
Hi Huge apartment in Ballarat's cbd, in fact it would be hard to be more central! You really can walk outside to all that Ballarat has to offer! The apartment is fully furnished and includes a double draw dishwasher and large washing machine. There's even linen and a fully fitted out kitchen. The apartment is so large that there is space for each tenant to have their own separate office at no extra charge! Nbn, gas and power bills are an extra $25 per week unless the bills are higher than budgeted.
I am a full time uni student. I spend a lot of time at uni studying. I keep to myself a lot and I'm quiet when I am at the house as my job requires me to work from home, so I'm usually busy with that. Im also clean and tidy. Reasonable and easy to get along with.
Comfortable accommodation with two spacious, carpeted rooms at the front of the house available for rent. The first room measures approximately 3.7m by 4.2m and is fully furnished with a queen bed (including linen), bedside table, large desk, wardrobe and tallboy. The second, larger room is unfurnished (except for a wardrobe if required) measuring approximately 4.5m by 3.5m. The house is fitted with unlimited, fibre NBN internet at no cost to the tenant. Utility bills to be shared by all occupants. Shared off-street parking. The house is a 1 minute walk to the bus stop, 700m to Lake Wendouree, 12 minute walk to supermarket, 18 minute walk to the Hospital, 20 minute walk and 4 minute drive to the station. Bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans and individual heaters. Lovely neighbours, gas hot water, washing machine, dryer and a large kitchen for cooking.
I am a 46 year young male from England but now resident in Australia to start teaching maths and science at a school near Lake Wendouree. I currently teach in Berwick but start my new job in the second semester, so want to be in Ballarat from the end of June. I am looking for a place to stay close to the school to minimise driving time. I am a clean, friendly, social person who gets on with everybody but respects personal space. Love animals, clouds, trees, music, sci fi and a good pub. I am vegan but don't mind if you're not. I have a 6x4 trailer for my car and would ideally love a space for it to live, on the driveway, in the yard, etc. if possible.
This property is very close to the CBD of ballarat, 4 minute walk to the lake, 5 minute walk to ACU university, and 10 minute walk to Central Square. The room that will be available has plenty of storage space, and has great natural lighting. Internet is fast NBN, which (split between 3) is only $20 a month.
Large room with it's own heater and nice view available to rent. Walking distance to the cbd and train station. Well maintained, charming 1940's house with a lovely garden, two cats, and sharing with a mature age art-student.
Hi I'm Hannah. Due to start a PhD at FedUni in July so looking for a place to live. I'm English, a non-smoker, easy going, clean tidy and respectful of other peoples belongings. I enjoy socialising (although not a crazy party person) and playing sport - fully intend on joining a team once I move.
I'm very sociable, I'm neat and clean. Stay on top of bills. I don't like unsocial houses. Ive been in sharehouses where people stay in their room all the time and that's boring. I do have a German Shepard, he is 6 years old, he's active but well behaved. Not great around other dogs but loves people
Hi, I'm heading to Ballarat for a uni placement from July 31 - September 12 and need somewhere to live. I'm studying Speech Pathology and am in my final year. My placement will be pretty full on so I will be spending majority of my time at Ballarat Base Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Centre doing Speech rehab, or at home doing paperwork. In saying that I am really keen to also enjoy my time there and relax a bit come the weekend. I'm from Sydney, and have friends in Melbourne so may spend the odd weekend down there too. Please get in contact with me if you think I would be a good match for your household. I need a furnished room (with at least a bed as I won't be bringing mine from Sydney)!
I'm an Irish school teacher living here in Australia. I'm a clean, tidy and reliable housemate. I work during the weekdays and usually travel at the weekends. I have a motorbike that I commute on and travel with. I have a regular routine and sometimes I work in the boarding house of the school so I will be away one night every two weeks.
Looking for a place from 20th August 2017 onwards. Im a personal trainer and gym membership consultant, and love to travel on weekends. When home I am very quiet and spend time with my Siberian Husky Storm. Storm is 4 years old and makes absolutely no noise. He is well trained and doesn't dig nor destroy things. We will need a new home around 26th August 2017. Storm doesn't work with other dogs though, and is quite fragile as he has had over 10 surgeries on his legs. I have my own TV, cabinet, bedroom furniture, couch, fridge and bar stools, but could of course get rid of these if you couldn't fit them :) I am extremely responsible, neat and am meticulous when it comes to cleaning. I am bubbly and creative and love to meet new people!
Hello I am Beth. I am a 22 old easy going, cheery person who loves nature and bush walking. I am also very quiet and considerate to live with. I am looking for a place to live for 6 months in Ballarat. I recently found a job in Ballarat and need accommodation to stay in. I do not drink or smoke
Hi guys, I'm a 28 yo French traveller that came to Australia a few weeks ago because of my Aussie girlfriend that I met last year in Kyrgyzstan. I've indeed travelled quite a bit, mostly around Europe and Asia and have plenty of stories to share from my trips. I would like to start working at least three months in rural Australia to be able to renew my WHV next year. I speak English, French and Italian
Sam and I are both quiet, clean and respectful people. We are always up for a chat & we only drink on special occasions, such as birthdays. Sam is a student at collarts & I am a student at Holmesglen, we both work part time as well. For fun, we just watch Netflix & see friends whenever we can. You won't regret us living with you 😌
Hi, I'm Claire! I'm a 25 year old professional moving to Ballarat at the end of July. I am looking for a room in an existing share house or to team up to start a new one. I will be working in Ballarat Central so am looking for a place close to the centre of town. I'm very easy going and reliable, and while I enjoy my space I'm partial to a good chat over a bev or three. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I sound like a potential flatmate!
My name's Kawana. I'm from New Zealand. Love life. I work hard and study lots. I like travelling. I like fishing and diving. Art. Anime. Game of Thrones. The odd beer. I plan to work and save up heaps so I can go travelling again. I really don't mind who I live with as long as you're not too messy.
