Hi there. So I am moving to Hobart for a new job and a new life. I will be working for the State Government and am on the search for another professional that would like a nice place to share that gives us enough room to be comfortable but still feel like a home. A little about myself - 30 years old - Professional and budget savvy but happy to pay for confortability - happy to sit and watch tv or go for a walk or explore the surrounds or after work drinks or trivia night or hang out in my own room - Doggo will be coming to live with me once I have a house ready for him A little bit about doggo - Borris by name BoBo by nickname - 7 years old - Australian bulldog - lazy by nature - little rolly but is told he's beautiful - doesn't bark (sometimes at butterflys) - doesn't dig - brought up with 3 little dogs and 3 cats so he has respect and love for both If any of this sounds like something you would like to live with let me know and we can have a chat about it. 😊
Hi :) I'm Hannah, 27 and was born and raised in Hobart. I am currently staying with my parents in Geilston Bay as I recently moved back from Melbourne. Things didn't go to plan so now I am looking for someone to share with preferably by the 1st of February. I have a beautiful indoor trained cat called Nahla who is super friendly and affectionate! She has been staying with a friend for a bit over a month but unfortunately I have to get her by the end of January. My parents have two cats so she can't come here, sadly. I am easy going, honest, tidy and considerate. Very respectful when it comes to privacy. I have lived with quite a few people in the past so definitely used to living with different types of people. I would love to find someone who likes a good chat but is also understanding of personal space. So hoping to find someone likeminded and mature. Interested in team ups but no time wasters please :) I am looking for someone who has a room available or is looking for a place to call home. Looking forward to hearing from you :) Hannah
We are a couple looking for a a great place to live. My boyfriend and I met in Canada while he was over on a working holiday visa. Now I'm over here on my working holiday visa. We are looking to explore around Tasmania taking in all the sites while still having a cozy home to come back to while working. We love to cook. We mostly keep to ourselves but also down to hang out with good friends from time to time.
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a furnished room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - we’re likely to get along if you’re open to rostered cleaning and such. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Speaking of doggos - if the property is suitable and you’re open to it, there’s a possibility I could bring one with me. He’s a happy docile short-haired border collie and may be the most affectionate animal on the planet. He gets along well with other dogs but might not be great with other kinds of pets. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)
I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I like watching and playing sports. If Im home you will often find me streaming the NBA or playing something on my PC. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
Looking for another couple or two singles to share a place with. Andrew is a super social extrovert, loves going out, bushwalking and meeting new people. Works casually, studies full time. I'm (Hannah) an introvert. I like quiet environments, curling up in the couch for a night in but still really enjoy being around people. Works full time. We have a fluffy ginger cat named Stewie. He's never had a problem with other animals, toilet trained, and rarely misbehaves.
I'm looking for a room or people who would like to search for a rental together. I am a full time PhD student, and I work a casual job on weekends. I'm an active runner, bushwalker, and climber. I keep mostly to myself, but I don't mind a social house either. Ideally I'm looking for a place that is within a reasonable commute to Sandy Bay, either side of the river. Looking to pay no more than $160 per week, or $180 if bills are included.
I'm 19, just finishing up my gap year; still working part time and studying full time this year. I'm after a room preferably in a share house not too far away from Clarence or the CBD. I'm friendly, neat, respectful and don't mind a couple drinks on the weekends. Feel free to ask me anything!
I'm a quiet, friendly, considerate, and very respectful person. I'm tidy and pick up after myself all the time. I work full-time in Hobart CBD. I've lived in Tas over the last six years and lived with different types of people on different periods of time. I lived in Bellerive for the last one year but unfortunately the house I lived in is sold so now I'm looking for another place to live in.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
I'm generally pretty quiet, chilled but enjoy a good chat now and then. I am moving over from Perth, WA to finish my nursing degree in Hobart and to be closer to my family who live out in the sticks.. Love being outdoors and being physically active. Mountain bikes, running, hiking etc. Hence the appeal of Tasmania! Bit of a nerd.
Chill vegan mates looking for a cosy place close to shops and transport. Love to skate, have a beer and a good book. Like to have our own space to relax. One student, one graduate and one legendary customer service rep. All work part time in the service industry.
Newly 31 year old guy relocating to Hobart to undertake full-time Honours study in visual art at UTAS Hunter Street. I'm clean, quiet, easy-going and a keen cyclist for daily transport... Yes, I know Hobart has hills... :) Happy to live with pets if you have (I don't), I don't smoke (you can if you want of course), or use drugs (other than social alcohol). Looking for somewhere near the water, reasonably close to Hobart city. As a student, I'll need wifi, and have a reasonable but not massive budget for both rent and sharing bills if they aren't included. Please say hi if you think I'd suit your place! Cheers, Jamie

Hi, I'm Vash and I'm 22 years old. I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart this year to study at the University of Tasmania. When I'm not working or at Uni, I love to exercise, read books, cook, or go out with friends. I'm outgoing and friendly, but I also enjoy my own space. I've lived in a share house before, I'm cleanly and considerate, and I think very easy to live with! :) Looking forward to the year ahead.

I'm currently studying my Master's at UTAS, have been living in Kingston since February 2017 but I'm looking for a new home away from home for 2018. Something a little more central would be ideal. I'm a pretty easy going guy, quiet, friendly, clean and respectful of others' space. When I'm not studying (which is most of the time) I enjoy music, watching films, playing sport and exercising (running/gym). I don't smoke or have any pets, 1 car which I am happy to street park where required. If you have anything available that you think I'd be suited to, flick me a message and we can organise something, cheers.

Hi, My name is Paul. I am 29 years old. I have relocated to Hobart for study at UTAS and am currently looking for somewhere to live. I am quiet, very tidy and I like to keep to myself. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and studying languages.
My name is Lauren and I've recently qualified as a radiation therapist and been lucky enough to be offered a job in Hobart! I am currently living in Geelong, Victoria but am looking forward to a change. I am very positive and easy going and am always up for a laugh and a few drinks. Feel free to contact me regarding pretty much anything :)
Cameron knows how to live with other people. He is respectful of space and keeps up with his share of the household chores. I have come to know Cameron as someone who listens and acts upon other people’s needs. Oh and he is a fantastic gardener! He knows how to cook but leads a busy work and social life which means there won’t be many tines he will get in your way in the kitchen. If he had one flaw it would be that it takes a little to come out of his shell but once he is comfortable you will find good conversation with him. Daniel (Previous Landlord/Housemate) Happy to provide contact details for reference.
