Hi everyone! My name is Devin. I’m looking to rent a room for 5 to 6 months around the Adelaide area, not too far from the City Centre. I’m staying in Australia from July 11 to December 28. I’m a law student from the University of Montreal in Canada, and I’ll be studying at the University of Adelaide as an exchange student. About myself, I’m a fairly independent person. I’m very clean and organised, I cook well and often, I eat a pescatarian diet, I do my chores (clothes, dishes), and I’m sociable and open minded (especially when I travel), though at home I prefer a quieter environment. I enjoy cooking, reading, playing guitar, swimming, fencing and martial arts. Unfortunately, I can’t meet in person because I’m still in Canada, but I can certainly talk on Skype. Thank you and have a great day!

I've lived in the country all my life and I'm really enjoying exploring Adelaide and all it has to offer. I love cafes, eating out, watching the odd bit of bad reality tv, music and art. I have two jobs. I work morning shift (6am - 2pm most weekdays) in a manufacturing role and I also work as a Retail Assistant a couple days a week. I am a very easy going person. I like to have a friendly chat and maybe a coffee with my housemate but am equally happy to keep to myself if that is appropriate. I like things to be clear and transparent around expectations/ chores in the house - so everyone knows what they have to do. I would consider myself to be friendly, generous, very reliable, trustworthy and respectful of other people's space. I am ready to move now and keen to find a new home asap. Let me know if you think we are a match. Cheers, Billy

While the rent may appear on the higher end there is nothing else required other than moving in! This three bedroom bungalow is spacious and extremely well maintained with numerous places to retreat. The garden is well established and has a healthy array of fruit, herbs and vegetables. A public park with tennis courts is a few steps from the house and public transport is only a few minutes walk away. A train to the CBD takes around 10 minutes. The area is quite retro and cafes, shops and supermarkets are within walking distance. The double room is furnished with a new double bed and good quality mattress, chest of drawers, clothes rack and lamp. Linen is provided and the property is fully equipped with appliances including water filter (alkaline water), juicers and blenders, coffee machine and pretty much all you need. I work as a secondary drama teacher and enjoy the theatre, performing arts and socialising. I also devote time each week to fitness. I am cultivating an abundant organic garden with the aim of having some level of self sufficiency. I enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life and I view my home as a place of peace to retreat to. Food and wine are a few of my favourite things! As noted there are three rooms, one of which is tenanted by a 25 year old male who works in banking. He is easy to get along with and his interests include going to the gym, movies, socialising and games.

Casual shift worker on full time hours (usually 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am). I drive, I'm clean and tidy, social though usually quiet. Looking for somewhere to live with people around my age that know how to be respectful but still sociable.
Looking for 2 bedrooms/ whole house, are interested in team ups with a third person. Laura- I'm 19 years old and am in my first year of studying Human Movement, love to meet new people and enjoy going out and having fun. Like to cook and am more than happy to cook meals for the house. I am clean and respectful of others' cleanliness. Looking for housemates who like to socialise and are open to hanging out, but who are respectful of my personal space. Clare- I'm a 28 year old teacher who is also studying my Masters in Edu. I enjoy good banter and like meeting new people and being social-yet enjoy me time too. I have lived overseas, absolutely LOVE to travel, and have lived in many shared houses before so understand the respect and balance of living with others :). I really would like to find a place that's comfortable, 'homey' and enjoy a balance between 'me' time and socialising with my house mate/s. I really would like to spend movie night/hangs/friendly banter etc. with person/people I live with when I am at home! My girlfriend stays over occasionally. Clare owns basically a whole house worth of furniture eg. couch, washing machine, fridge. So unfurnished houses would be best.
Hi all! I'm Ash and I currently work full time in logistics for a mining company. I'm pretty social and always enjoy going out and hope to find people that also like to have fun but still can respect each other and the house we share. I have worked as a chef so I can cook pretty well. I'm always happy to cook for others and I'm also rather tidy and always clean up after myself. I also have a cat that I'd like to bring with me, he usually just spends most of the day/night outside.

My name is Alyy and Im a house proud 23 year old fulltime childcare worker and cook. In my spare time I like to go to the gym, cook a nice meal, spend time with friends or enjoy the outdoors. I also like my privacy and spending time relaxing on my own. I'm quiet, responsible and clean. Have never missed a week of rent and always clean up after ourselves. My lease is due to end on July 6th and I cannot renew as I can't afford the high rent anymore with my partner off work due to injuries. We are not sure where we are going to live straight away as our parents don't have room for us, so a share house for a few months seems like the best option until we can find a decent caravan/other option. I have 3 cats that may need to come with me.. if there are issues with that I can just take 1 but would prefer to keep them together. They all have individual personalities and are trained well. I keep up with their cleaning on a daily basis and they are well looked after. My partner (is 24yo) and I would prefer to live together if the price is affordable for us, otherwise it will be just myself and 1-3 cats and he will visit often. I can't afford more than $150 per week for all of us. (inc or not inc bills). If you can help us out with a temporary home please contact me. Thank you! Also if you have a caravan for rent or sale let me know!

I Prefer the idea of granny flat Accomadation that reflects privacy. However I am easy to get along with. I am usually of a queit nature and value and respect others as I would expect the same in return. I am a health care worker working at the old RAH soon to move to the new RAH. I travel solely by public transport and this would need to be a contributiting factor when choosing a suitable location. I am a non smoker and enjoy my swimming and bush walking when I get a chance.
I'm a fourth year arts/law student at looking for affordable, clean, and friendly accomodation. I currently work two jobs in retail and non-profit and do lots of volunteering. I like movies, reading, cooking, and finding new music. I'm looking for a place close to the CBD, with good internet access, near public transport lines, and a good size available bedroom. I'd be interested in house sharing with fellow students or young professionals who are mature, enjoy each other's company but also respect personal space. I'm okay with pets but I can't live with cats. I'd be a great housemate as I'm super down on cleaning and paying rent on time, and cook a mean roast dinner. Hit me up with any questions!
