I am 18 years old and currently in the process of moving out of home. I have a full time and part time job so I will not be at the house all day everyday. I love dogs so it would be a bonus if a dog was at the house. I am pretty quiet and I like having my private space but would love to have dinner with my flatmates and watch tv. I am in an army family so I have moved around quite a lot, I say I am from Townsville but I'm not really from anywhere if i'm honest. I am looking for all female flatmates but am flexible if there is 1 or 2 boys in the house.
Hello, we are a young couple looking for a flat were we have an easy commute to work and can also chill with our cat. We are both currently employed in the pet industry, me as a vet nurse and Sam as an assistant store manager in a pet shop. We own one cat, a very laid back, 10 year old, British Short Hair called Pushkin. She is fully vaccinated, up to date on flea and worming, and is strictly an indoor only cat. The reason we are moving out of our current flat is we don't have a kitchen, and we want to improve our lifestyles by cooking more. We are both into music but our instruments are practiced quietly so not to disturb anyone. We are quiet people and often work long hours, but we are also happy to have a chat if we run into you. We are preferably looking for a small flat (with a kitchen!), but we are also happy to share a house if the people are right. If you have anymore questions please let us know!
Hi, moving to Canberra from the country for a lifestyle change. Professionally i am in the Electrical and Instrumentation trades, and have secured a job in Canberra, but just need a place to hang my hat to learn the city, trial the job and if all goes well, move up with my family. Outside of work, i am an avid musician and play in a working band (Based out of Cooma with gigs in Canberra and other country areas), playing guitar and piano. My real passion lies here, and another huge part of why id like to be closer or in a city! I am pretty easy to get along with, i am quiet, conscientious and clean up after myself - no problems helping out around the place if need be. Most of the time outside of work hours, if i am not studying or practicing (unplugged) music, i will be out exploring the city, or heading back home for the weekend
My brother Leigh (19), and I are moving to Canberra from Kalgoorlie in WA for work/an adventure. We both have jobs lined up and I will also be looking for a nursing job as I’ve just graduated from my degree. We are requiring a large enough room to share/two separate bedrooms in either an existing share house or to team up with others and form one. Our budget is approximately $170 each. We have one vehicle that we will be needing to park somewhere. Preferably the room(s) would be furnished however we can arrange minimal furniture if not. Our length of stay is undecided at the moment however it’ll be a minimum of 3 months. I intend on staying for around 6 months but there’s a small chance Leigh will go back to WA earlier. The two of us are social and would like to live somewhere we can get on well with our housemates. We enjoy training in the gym, cooking food, outdoorsy stuff and an occasional drink. We will however be working full time and no doubt will like some peace and quiet from time to time. After staying at our Mum’s house you can rest assured we are well trained in regards to cleanliness.

Hi, I'm Jacob, I'm an engineer starting with the APS in February. I'm looking to move into a shared house or flat in Canberra around mid-February (I'm flexible with suburbs). I'm generally a quiet person, but I'm friendly and like to socialize on weekends. In my spare time, I like to play guitar (quietly), read, or play chess. I also enjoy cooking. I can bring my own bedroom furniture if needed. I can only fully commit to a 6-month stay since I could be rotated out of Canberra for work in August (if not, I could stay for an extra 6 months).
Here to visit kids
I'm looking for a furnished room for rent in Canberra. My budget is $160 plus bills per week. I'm a full time Mechanical Engineer working for a engineering consultancy.
I’m 20 years old, and moving to Canberra from North Queensland. I currently work in a pub doing waitressing and bar work, and am studying building design. I like trying new things and enjoy reading, skating, and pretty much anything. Will binge watch netflix with you! (Or by myself) I am hoping to find people I can both live and be friends with. I’m fairly neat but I can deal with mess. I’m pretty social but also like time to myself and will totally respect your privacy :) I’m not really a big drinker due to lack of time and funds, but will occasionally get on the piss and go all out (but don’t worry, I’m a quiet drunk when I need to be). I’m super flexible on where I live
I'm a full-time student from Melbourne studying at the ANU. Currently about to start my fifth year and working part-time as an educator. I'm also a part-time french teacher, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, swimming and reading in my spare time.
I am a 31yo professional who enjoys cooking and reading. Personally I am an introspective quiet individual who would rather a meal with friends than a night at the club's. I love a ride around the lake some laps in a pool and some cheeky games on the side.
1 year old townhouse. Situated 10 minutes from the heart of gungahlin or a $13 uber ride and 5 minutes to casey shops. Wifi is set up. Its 2 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop if that's what you need. The room available is a decent size with built in wardrobes and a split system aircon. Split systems in every room. The property is a townhouse but is only attached to one other. You'd be sharing the house with an ex-tradie turned firefighter and a tradie studying psychology so you have to have good banter. We're both pretty laid back but both respectful and considerate of each others privacy and space, so we expect the same in our new housemate. Feel free to hit me up with questions.
