Clean and friendly roommate looking for easy going roommates. I'm ideally looking for a place close to a bus or train station and a convenient place in terms of getting to Hawthorn. ( I work full time as an accountant as well as study for my CPA)
Totally chill person, Just got into Deakin University, need a place to stay for a year or more under the budget with some nice similar age and mindset people.
little bit about me. I work a lot and am often away. Grew up in a big family so I'm good at cleaning, I'm tidy and can cook. I surf and snowboard any opportunity I can get. Will definitely be having friends or siblings around on occasion. Love trying out new restaurants or just going out in general. I'm not at all fussy. I enjoy reading and sleeping, food, music, people and activities. :)
My name is Calvin, and I'm about to start as a PhD student at Deakin University studying Ecology and Conservation in April, looking for a new home! I am originally from Hong Kong, but have been living in London for the past 12 years of my life. I've never been to Melbourne before, but I've heard so many good things about it. I'm not much of a party person, and am very easy-going and chilled. Would love to share a meal now and then, maybe with some wine (or tea), but also enjoy some evenings after a tougher day. I'm also tidy and looking for flatmates who are too.
I'm a 25yo female and studying teaching. I spend my savings on gigs at the corner, love the occasional boogie on a Saturday night and finding great food around the city. I spent five months backpacking around Europe and North America solo so I am quite independent. I have lived in a few share houses so I am 'house trained' and can pay the bills on time. I'm looking for something long term, I have two more years of uni. A house that is quite enough that I can study when I need to but still have a few drinks with the housemates would be awesome. Animal lover so a dog or cat would be a bonus.
Hi guys, I'm Samuel and am 27. At the moment I am doing my postgraduate in Economics at RMIT (city campus). I am easy going and friendly. I am also (quite) clean and organised. I don't smoke or drink and love to cook! I am a quiet person. Most of the days from Monday to Friday I will be in uni, and on weekends I will stay at home or hang out with friends. I like guitar and have been learning since earlier last year. My current lease will end on 27 May, thus i am planning to move to another two-bedroom apartment somewhere near Box Hill or Surrey Hills. My budget is roughly around 150-200 (weekly). I look forward to meeting you as my flatmate. Samuel
I'm a student who studies my bachelor of accounting and finance at Swinburne uni . Also I'm a person who loves to be very clean and tidy . Also love my freedom a lot and I'm a person who is very social with everyone .
My name is Roula. I am from Greece. I am going to move in Australia in order to commence my PhD studies in Deakin University. I am searching for housemates with a calm lifestyle. I am pleasant and very cheerful person but at the same time I am very organised and studious. I love sports and board games. I can easily adopt myself.
I'm friendly easy going but also happy keeping to myself - I am neat and clean as are my two furry companions who regularly receive compliments on how well behaved they are ! I'm creative and have always got time for expanding my knowledge about all sorts of things!
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. I've recently turned 30 and am looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and to relocate to Melbourne for work. Came to Melbs a while back for a holiday, fell in LOVE with it and didn't ever want to come back to Sydney - so now I'm trying to make that dream a reality. Currently I'm on Newstart allowance as a means of consistent income but please note this is absolutely temporary in terms of my long term financial position - I am only on this momentarily to cover my rent and bills while I make moves to relocate cities and secure full time employment. I will be obtaining a full time job as soon as I move to Melbourne and am already applying for a number of roles - it's just quite hard to do from interstate before you leave, most companies won't take your application seriously unless you're inquiring locally. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. I completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socialising with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling a bit hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself occasionally. Really not a precious princess about things and am not into passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's house needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a party animal, though I do enjoy having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking /when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always a bit better for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move by mid April or so / ASAP if I find something, got a flexible plane ticket booked ready to go - let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
Hello! My name is Angel and I'm a 19yo student currently living in Brisbane. I will be moving to Melbourne in July to study psychology at the University of Melbourne. I'm an outgoing, friendly person who loves to travel and meet new people. Although at times I like my "alone time" I do enjoy having a laugh over a few drinks. If you think we'd be good housemates don't hesitate to message me, I'd be happy to catch up sometime to see if we get along! I did also ask my friend for help writing this and the advice they gave was "whatever you do, don't mention you're a pies supporter."
Hi there, I've just moved back to Melbourne on 27/3. I already have a job lined up near Forest Hill, so within 40 mins drive from there. My friends would describe me as honest, considerate and easy going. I'm clean/tidy and looking for someone similar. The cheaper the room the better. I've put 6 months but can be longer if the situation is right. Longest I've stayed somewhere is 2 years. I'm open to different locations near those listed. Thanks for stopping by :)
I am well disciplined when it comes to keeping the place clean (ex ADF) and paying bills on time. I am a friendly person who likes having people around, especially at meal times, however many of my interests are those of an introvert. Some of my interests include science, reading, playing in brass bands, hiking in national parks, going to the movies.
With great power, comes great electricity bills. My name is Jac, I'm going to be studying at Deakin and I'm definitely going to need a place to stay while I'm there. I'm interested in stories, whether they're told to me or whether I'm making them as I live. We're not only going to be housemates but partners in making a house as liveable as possible. I'm looking forward to meeting you, sharing stories as well as responsibilities.
Hey I'm Suzie. I'm 27 and work full time as a disability support worker. I'm a very clean person and respect other people's privacy. I do like routine in my life and being organised. Last but not least, I love a good chat, meeting new people and having a laugh :) Have been renting with my brother up until this point and now need to make the move within the week (28th - 5th March). Looking for a fresh new start and a happy new environment!! :))
I currently work at Bunnings part time and also study at RMIT full time as a business student :) I thoroughly enjoy a quiet night in but also love a little party aswell. I love food and watching tv shows and movies!
Hey there! I am an open minded, friendly and outgoing German girl. I am always up for a chat and a good laugh! And love to meet new people, of course I also like to have my own privacy and will respect yours. I am a reliable and trustworthy person, I will always be able to make up my part of the rent as I am working full time. I will be staying in Melbourne until this June. I love to cook and enjoy having meals with my flat mates. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm a postgrad student at RMIT city and looking for a private room in a suburbs which have a direct public transport connectivity and doesn't take more than 30 min to reach the city. Move date 27 April.
I'm a 20 year old Country kid who has spent the past 2 years studying in Geelong. Have decided to move towards the city and so have transferred campuses. Have lived in shared houses for the past 2 years and have enjoyed meeting new people. I am very clean and respectful and appreciate boundaries and space. In saying this I am always up for a chat and some fun.
Hello! Saskia here, I'm a full time Deakin student studying a double degree of Information Tech and Information Systems. I've been living in Burwood for 4 months now in a share house, but now I'm keen to move out with Caitie. I work in retail mainly, but also do some freelance IT work. I enjoy programming, gaming, cycling, shopping, reading, and mainly studying. Caitie is also a full time student at Melbourne Uni, studying Fine Arts. Shes bubbly and fun, enjoys art, puppies, keeping fit and meeting new people. Caitie works in hospitality and makes amazing coffee. She lives in Geelong currently, but really wants to move up here to avoid the travel time every day. Thanks! Sas (and Caitie)
