I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to work at IP Australia starting in May. Pretty quiet, but looking forward to making new friends. I like crossfit, drawing and dogs.
I’m a 22-year-old working full time in Finance. I’m looking for a place urgently since my housemate has had to urgently move. I’m clean and tidy and keep to myself a lot but do occasionally enjoy socialising with friends. Value cleanliness and respect people's space. Currently living in an apartment in New Acton so apartment/unit living is not new to me. I grew up in QLD before moving to Canberra for uni.
I’m looking for a room to rent until the end of Jun. I am completing my final semester of undergraduate studies at the ANU. Open to moving anywhere within a 20min drive of the uni. Friends describe me as easygoing, quiet and respectful. Completely flexible, I am clean and reliable. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks!
Our apartment is in an awesome location in the middle of Lonsdale Street, surrounded by all the cafes, restaurants and moderately attractive public servants you could wish for. It's also super close to the city (5 mintues walk), the ANU (10-15 minutes walk). Bills are around $65 per month, including internet and heating. The available room is the smallest bedroom of the apartment. However, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in character. Mainly how cheap it is character! The room is technically the study of the house, so does not have a window. It is not insanely small, and it does stay nice and cool in summer, and warm in winter. The kitchen and rest of the house comes fully stocked and furnished. We can have a play with fitting some extra items in if you have them, however the apartment is not overly large, sadly no Tardis situations here. Parking: we have two secure carparks downstairs, we currently share these between us, but we can sort out a diff. arrangement if you have 7 cars to park! we do have space for bikes, so your steel steed doesn't rust in the unpredictable Canberra weather We also have an absolutely knockout balcony overlooking the hustle-and-bustle of Lonsdale Street and regularly brilliant Canberra sunsets. It is primo for people watching. **** PLEASE NOTE BOND IS ACTUALLY $813.00****
I'm Margot. I'm 24 and French. I'm an easy going person who likes to clean up after myself, and I respect other tenants privacy and personal space. I'm a non-smoker. I love cooking - I will be happy to cook French meals for my roomate(s) to try. In my free-time I also enjoy working out, swimming, reading and traveling! I was raised in both French and English, I also speak Italian and a little bit of Spanish and German.
Hello! I am a consulting graduate and will be moving to Canberra for my Full Time job. I am a cheerful girl who enjoys binging on TV shows, going hiking and catching up with friends over brunch. I love animals and will not mind if you have one. I am a tidy girl and I like to keep things clean, especially communal areas.
Dear internet, find me a house to live in... Just spent a year in Africa, so naturally thought I’d move to Canberra for a culture shock. Doing the same as everyone else in Canberra, working for (*insert current PM name*). I’m sociable, and will bring berocca when you’re hungover and watching reruns of GOT. Love the outdoors, hate the cold and I play ultimate frisbee (yay!). Keen to ‘team up’ or join an easy going house with a great vibe.
- Have been known to cook the occasional meal for friends - Will be working full-time as a professional - Down-to-earth and chill - I enjoy the classic American comedy tv shows, e.g. The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 rock, etc. - Likes things to be fairly tidy most of the time - Will probably be off on a bike ride or hike on the weekends
Hi! I'm full-time public servant, and enjoy spending my down-time reading, cooking, hanging out with friends, and learning French. I'm looking for a laid-back sharehouse where we each have our own space but enjoy occasional shared meals and episode of trashy TV with some wine and a cheese plate. I'm tidy, respectful, and considerate of others, hoping to find some roommates with a similar attitude.
I'm studying Curatorship and Arts at uni, and this should (finally) be my last year of study. I also work in Braddon and will be doing a few internships & gallery placements this year. I'm easy-going and ideally looking for a place where we enjoy each other's company but also our own space, keep shared spaces fairly tidy but overall relaxed and informal. Basically - I'm very flexible (except in yoga class where I can very inflexible, but I try).
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
I’m in my 5th year at ANU. I’m friendly, considerate and clean. Love having a chat over dinner etc but also understand the need for personal space. I try to keep busy and am out during the day but I love off days to cook and watch a tv show or three. I eat pretty healthy and enjoy going to the gym, yoga and hiking :) Since I’m from Sydney, I go back every few weeks during the weekend.
Hi I'm Isaac.I am 27 and recently secured a job in the ACT public service. In my off time I try and maintain my fitness as well as catching up with people.Easy going bloke, would like to meet people with the same interests.
I'll be working full-time, and tend to be a bit of a homebody during the week, but enjoy having a drink or share a meal at the end of some days too - I like to be friends with my housemate(s) rather than simply share a living space but fully appreciate the need for privacy and independence. I love pets, but don't have any. I'm friendly, easy going, flexible, relaxed and enjoy a laugh. I'm moving to Canberra permanently so am looking for longer-term stable, secure accommodation.
Hey! I'm looking for a place to live over the next year or so with good, clean and friendly housemates - moreso students/ young professional types A bit about me: I'm originally from Port Macquarie, and moved to Canberra for uni. I've almost finishing my undergrad and am looking for a place to live as I've just got back from living in the Netherlands for the past 7mths. I've previously lived in share houses without any issues and would prefer a house to the more social side. I love coming home and sharing a drink with housemates and cooking together. I'm pretty boring: my hobbies are eating, drinking and sleeping. I also love netflix and (weirdly) recently have gotten into running. I'm looking for a room that's large enough to fit a queen bed in, and am happy to share bathrooms. Ideally, looking for somewhere in the Inner North/ Inner South but again, I'm not particularly fussy so long as the house has the right kind of people! Feel free to send me a message and say hi if I sound like the right fit! Cheers, Jacob

I am a recently retired professional athlete from Canada advancing my geology career now. I was living in Europe the last 2 years and am now relocating to Australia! I like to hike, travel, and try anything new. If you think we would be a good fit feel free to message me!
I’m 20 years old, and moving to Canberra from North Queensland. I currently work in a pub doing waitressing and bar work, and am studying building design. I like trying new things and enjoy reading, skating, and pretty much anything. Will binge watch netflix with you! (Or by myself) I am hoping to find people I can both live and be friends with. I’m fairly neat but I can deal with mess. I’m pretty social but also like time to myself and will totally respect your privacy :) I’m not really a big drinker due to lack of time and funds, but will occasionally get on the piss and go all out (but don’t worry, I’m a quiet drunk when I need to be). I’m super flexible on where I live
Hello! I’m Al, a non-binary ANU student looking for a place to call home in Canberra. I’m a pretty good cook, and friendly roommate who is not very loud, loves books and a chat around food and drinks.
