I’m looking for a room to rent starting any time from July (although this is somewhat flexible). Looking to move into somewhere for the longer term if it’s the right fit. A bit about me: I enjoy travelling, architecture, keeping fit, doggos. Minor Chinese reality TV personality in a past life. Pretty easy going sort of guy at home, do most of my socialising outside the house but happy to do stuff with housemates too. Have some pretty nice furniture to contribute as well! I’ve lived in multiple sharehouses through uni and am now looking to save some money (currently paying $390/week). I’m a full time public servant and have never missed any sort of rent payment. I’m clean but not super pedantic about it - happy to adjust to suit others’ preferences/go on to rosters etc. Message me if it sounds like we’d be a good fit!

Hey, I'm looking for a room in Braddon, Turner, Acton, Reid, or Civic. Ideally, I’d like a place with a decent sized bedroom, own bathroom and car park. However even more important is finding a friendly and sociable housemate! I'm working full time in the APS while studying a Master’s part-time at the ANU. I'm originally from Perth and moved to Canberra at the start of last year. I’m 25, a non-smoker, pet-free, I don’t take drugs, etc. I’m also very neat and happy to send a photo of my current place as proof! I’ve lived in a number of share houses over the years (with guys and girls), so I’m pretty sociable and easy to live with. I’m a fan of social sport, cooking, casual drinks, music (I come with headphones) and solid TV series (currently Handmaid's Tale, Westworld and Veep). Sadly my current housemate is moving to Sydney for work, so I'm exploring other options. Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit! Sam :)
Looking to join a existing sharehouse or team up and start a new one... About me : Fully employed, financially independent. Work usual 9-5 in retail. Creative soul, musically inclined. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Looking for a large room to fit queen sized bed, shelving and desk, or a seperate area / room / study for desk. Enjoy travelling, going on walks / hikes, photography, nature, reading, netflix, ABC/ SBS / seeing live music, catching up with friends, impro, music festivals, or wherever the day takes me. Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Ideally : i'd be sharing with some awesome, creative artistic type people, who enjoy a meal / get together, but who also respect each others space. A catchup after work. A drink now and then. The usual really. Most of my friends are aged in their 30s or 40s, but i get along with everyone. Have a small bunch of furniture - queen sized bed, couch, fridge, microwave, desks, 46" TV, stereo, bookshelves, etc... can be used or put into storage / sold. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
I live in Melbourne, but I am moving to Canberra to study at ANU. I move out of my current place on the 6th of July and Uni starts the 23rd, so looking to move in during that period, but flexible with dates, though the earlier the better. I finished a BSc in Psychology last year and will be studying Law at ANU. I like to read, write, play music, travel, and get chatty over a drink. I mostly get around by bike, occasionally go indoor bouldering. Good in the kitchen, plenty of experience in sharehouses. Non-smoker, don't own pets, but happy to live with them. Looking for somewhere not too far from ANU.
My wife and I are looking for a small studio with own bathroom and separate entry for the period of 8 August to 23 December 2018. We are visiting PhD students at the ANU. We will be in the university most of the times and it is not important the unit being more comfortable.
Hey! I'm Claire and I'd say I'm a really easy going person who is tidy, organised, friendly and social, but also respects personal space. I love being outdoors, travelling and playing with animals. I'm a full time uni student and work part time and am looking for a place somewhere near the city and the ANU campus.
Hey everyone I’ve been in Canberra for a year now and I’m looking for a fun but respectful sharehouse. I like cooking, movies, hiking, running and a bunch of other stuff. I’m quite, clean and respectful of other people’s space and property.
I have just graduated from ANU. I am an international student from Singapore. I love watching comedy shows , my favourite being Brooklyn- nine nine. I love chocolate and dancing. I studied psychology and management at ANU . I like my own time but happy to hang out as well! I am a tidy person and like to keep my surroundings clean.
My names Chris :) I have been in Canberra since late November FIFO working for Qantas and have just signed over as a full time local, love living in Canberra just can't wait for summer already haha :) I'm very easy going, love talking and getting to know people but also enjoy my alone time to recharge. A good afternoon for me is coming home after work and having a glass of wine or anything tasty and a chat about what ever is on peoples minds. I work Monday-Friday 0700-1730 and most Saturdays 0700-1400. Love my time off, can either relax at home or go out for lunch, will never say no to going out for drinks or coffee :) I'm pretty much a political neutral...I see things from both sides and enjoy hearing peoples opinions and ideas, feel like i have to say that as we're in Canberra and people seem to love talking about politics. I've traveled most of my life so have heaps of stories if you want to hear them. Love other peoples stories even more :) I can cook alright but don't claim to be a chef, like to experiment though and see what i can come up with :) If accepted i would be good to move in on Monday the 2nd of July. Hope to hear from you and see if i can fit in, if not i i hope you find the perfect fit :) If you like I can provide character references Oh and i love dogs of course! Dogs rule! Hope to find a great place to stay :)
I‘m Katrina, currently in Canberra to do an internship at the Austrian Embassy. As I extend my stay, I'm looking for a shared house/apartment by mid August. I’m a 26 year old graduate (sociology and communication) who enjoys a good glass of wine and netflix marathons, as much as exploring the city and socialise. I am looking for a flat with fun roommates to have a chat after work, cook dinner sometimes and go out on the weekends occassionslly. I am a tidy and respectful person with six years of flatsharing experience and a good sense for privacy and individual space. Hit me up if you think I'd be suitable to join your house and we could have a chat over coffee :)
I’m a fulltime law/science student at ANU just coming back from an exchange in Scotland, and a bit of a holiday round Europe. I’m tidy, polite, like a bit of socialising but enjoy keeping to myself too.
Originally a Melbourne girl, been in Canberra for a year and loving it. I'm a clean, tidy, non-smoker. I work in APS and am studying a double masters part-time. I also do musical theatre so be prepared to be serenaded occasionally haha. I would love to find housemates that I can chat and hang out with, but I also like to keep to myself every once and a while - especially during study periods.
I'm clean, considerate, fun, and understanding. I usually don't spend a lot of time in common areas, preferring to get out & about (like shows, hiking, etc.) or else hang out in my room. I get along with pretty much everyone. I'm from America, 23 years old, and will be a full-time (paid) intern at a humanitarian services organization.
I'm 30 years old, work full time and have lived in several share-house settings before. I'm moving from Brisbane to begin a new job in Canberra and looking for a place to stay. I'm friendly, neat and responsible and always up for good conversations and wine. At the same time, I'm respectful of others' space and privacy. Like reading, keeping fit and eating clean.
Hi there! I’m Ben, a 32 year old retail manager. I come with a wide array of appliances & furniture (fridge, washer, TV, couch etc), plus a small cat who will definitely like you more than she lets on. I like to cook in my spare time, as well as a bit of TV watching. I like to keep tidy, enjoy having a chat after work and respect the need for personal space. I’m looking to move in ASAP.
Hi there, I'm Meghana, 21 yo! I'd be joining the ANU for a Masters Program in Finance this July. I am currently a working professional with one of the Big 4s. So my priorities and schedule are in place for next 10m to a year, at least, considering my current regime. lol But otherwise, I am a very extroverted-cheerful person and a vegetarian. And no, I've no issues if my roommate is otherwise. Food is one's own choice. So no comments. I can almost talk about every topic under the sun. I share a great passion for badminton and swimming. If we get a chance, may be we can go for a rally or two. It'd be fun. I have a great taste and passion for music. It's a plus if you do too.. :D Most importantly, I'd be a full time student and working part time. I've no other habits like drinking or smoking. I maintain quite decent timings- I do not plan on having late-night hangouts, with that being a given, during the day, I'm the most outdoorsy person. We could sometime plan for an outing or two together! In case you study the same subject as mine, me being a flatmate is a bonus for you. I am pretty good with the subject and people say I am great at simplifying concepts :D Please reach out in case you have suitable option open for me. Cheers, Meghana
Hi there, I'm Jacob and early 30's. I work full time in the Australian Public Service and I am born and bred Canberran. Full time student doing Bachelor in Web Design and Production. I am looking for a room to rent within my budget within the next 12 weeks. I am also non-smoker and not a party person but quiet however very chilled and friendly. I should mention, I am deaf myself. I am neat and tidy and I am well cooperative with other housemates when come to sharing chores etc.
I'm pretty chilled and easy to get along with. Originally from Newcastle NSW but I have accepted to study at the University of Canberra to start 2018 semester 2. I'm looking to make the move down to Canberra asap so i can settle into a new place before starting my studies. I would be happy in any suburb as i have a car and don't mind using it. Also keen for teamups or whatever they call it. A bit more about me, I have recently come back from living in Canada for two years and have become a keen snowboarder. When there's no snow i usually like to spend my time outdoors hiking, or kayaking. I have lived in a share house with more than 40 people using the one kitchen before, so i know the importance of being CLEAN and respectful of other peoples space. I enjoy a few casual drinks here and there just as much as i enjoy my quiet time watching Netflix or studying.
33 years old, moving to Canberra to live the public service dream. Easy-going and respectful, lived in plenty of flatshares before. Looking for a social place where you can share the odd vino with the flatties, but also respectful of peoples' space and down-time. I am not a couple or a pet.
