Hi Everyone I work part time for a youth mental health organisation in Canberra and am also studying counselling. I consider myself easy going, clean and tidy, approachable and sociable but I also welcome down time. I love dancing, spontaneous adventures, a cocktail here and there and spending time outdoors...to name a few things :) I am looking to move into a new space either beginning of December 2018 or January 2019. Would love to hear from anyone who feels we might be a good fit.
Easy going 34 year old guy from Melbourne, back in Canberra for work 6 month contract. Like place that is tidy but also relaxing. Enjoy trying new venues and events around town, and recent hiking convert. Quite social and happy to meet new people. Expect to be away a bit over summer - weekend coast trips, and visits back home.

I’m going over seas for 3 weeks in January/February. & I’m a pineapple on pizza kinda person.

I am a graduate from Melbourne moving to Canberra for work in the APS. I have just moved back to Australia from having lived and worked in Malaysia during 2018 and love to get out and about whenever possible. I am very social, but also like my down time and will respect yours. I love music, cooking, and wines. P.S. Full disclosure - I come with a long-term biologist-ecologist boyfriend who may or may not be moving to Canberra in approx. April, but even if he doesn't move up he will likely visit every couple of weeks. I can vouch for him being very fun and VERY clean, and we act more like mates than a couple, but I know living with a couple is not everyones cup of tea. On the other hand, having an extra person to contribute furniture, bills and fun times might be just what you're after.
Hey all!! I am relocating to Canberra in February to start a Graduate Program with the Department of Agriculture :D Am wanting to live around the city area so I have the option to easily bike/walk to work. I am easy going, absolutely love having a laugh and doing spontaneous, crazy things and love chilling out and relaxing in my own space also. I've lived overseas for a couple of years (Canada woop woop!) and have lived with housemates since I was 20 so all good on the living with other people front :). I love to have a drink, be social and listen to music but not all the time, and especially with starting the new job I'll be focusing on that. Absolutely love food also so if you're a foodie, heck yes. I'm an open book so message if you're interested and we can chat :)
Hello, I'm from Melbourne and this is my first time to Canberra which is very exciting for me! I'm here just for three months for placement as an Optometry Student. And for fun, I love to good food and pilates. I would be a great housemate as I am friendly, reliable and clean.
Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!
Hi, I'm looking for someone to fill a room on Ipima Street in Braddon. This place is about a 15 minute walk to Civic (I do it every morning!) or a 10 minute cycle. It is just down the road from Mount Ainslie (to support your exercise needs) and a 5 minute drive from the Dickson shops (to support your Asian food and grocery needs). About the unit; It is a two bedroom unit, with two bathrooms and two secure undercover spots along with a small storage space. The car spots are side by side (not tandem). It is on the ground floor with a small balcony area. There is a laundry attached to the main bathroom with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen and living areas are set out in an open plan configuration - the kitchen has an induction stove and a dishwasher. The living area has a split system air conditioner / heater. I have furnished this unit so this would suit someone who only has bedroom furniture - alternatively some of mine or your furniture can be stored in the storage space within the garage. Pictures are from the original listing from the real estate agent - it is fully furnished now. The photo of the bedroom is the one on offer. It is a medium sized unit, so the room would only be suitable for singles. The unit does not have gas which means the only bills here are electricity - electricity for both myself and my previous housemate (2 people) range from $250 a quarter in summer to $500 in winter and this amount will be split evenly. Internet is VDSL 2+ and is $40 a month each. About the room; The room available has full use of the main bathroom - I would only be going into it to use the laundry. It has a built in robe with sliding doors and carpet. There is enough room for a bed and study desk to fit comfortably. The room does not have air con or a heater so you'll probably need a heater for winter, the house stays quite cool all summer however. The room is available 10 November, however this can be negotiated pending the current housemate's circumstances.
Hello! We are a young couple from Indonesia doing masters at the ANU. My partner Ardi will have to find a new place from February, and I will join him from July. So we are looking for a place which is flexible for a couple. We are friendly and easy-going people, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so we are always excited whenever we have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books, and both of us are great fans of cats :D Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
I'm clean, friendly and reliable. I enjoy being social, often over a glass of red, but I am also respectful of privacy and happy spending time alone. I love cooking (vegetarian) and am more than happy to make extra if you're hungry! I'd be happiest living with a housemate or housemates who have similar values to me (i.e. relatively progressive and environmentally minded). I enjoy hiking, travel, reading, sewing, running and watching movies.
Hi, I'm Raeychale, I'm from Wagga Wagga, and will be moving to Canberra to start studying full time at ANU, as a science undergraduate. I practice martial arts, love travelling and spending time with friends. I'm friendly and easy going, and clean up after myself. I'd love to find someone who wouldn't mind getting to know each other, and spend some time watching a movie or catching a bite to eat in our free time. But at the same time, I know everyone has busy lives, so i value some quite time too. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
Hi, I'm Alex. I'm moving to Canberra for work from Sydney. I work in community services. I've been share housing for sometime now and know the ins and outs with privacy, respect and being social. I get away most weekends camping with friends. My interests are the outdoors, adventure sports, gym, meditation, spirituality and yoga. I have a lovely kelpie called Audrey. She's a fantastic dog, very lucky to have her. Even though she's a kelpie, she's incredibly laid back and chills out most of the day.
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hi! I'm a 4th year student at ANU, also work part time. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people. Pretty chilled out and always happy to socialise and hang together but also value individual space and privacy when needed. I love hiking, running, watching netflix/movies and pretending to be a good gardener. Always down for sneaky bevs at the end of the day or sitting on the couch watching a movie.
Hi there! My name is Teaghan, im 21, from Sydney originally and currently studying Public Relations at UC (2nd year), i currently live on res but am looking to move off next year ! I'd consider myself a pretty social person with a positive laid-back personality. Ideally, I'd love to move in with someone around 18-26 who doesn't mind having a chat or hanging out and sharing a drink here or there, however am also respectful of others privacy as i like time to myself too. I am a clean person who is always happy to chip in with chores around the house and help out in any way i can. In my free time i love to get out of the house and do something, whether it be going for a walk around the park/lake, going shopping, watching a movie or just getting some lunch. Although i am also a bit of a homebody at times and am happy to have a day at home just chilling out. I'm looking to move in around January next year, so a bit early to look but shoot me a message if you think we would get along !

Anything else you need to know, just ask :)
I'm a lawyer and am working full time in the federal public service. I'm an independent, clean, respectful and friendly person.
