$400/week•40 year old woman
Hi there,
I’m looking for a flat or granny flat to live on my own starting November 1st. I’ll be away on vacation in October and, when I return, I’d like to already have a place secured to move into.
Right now, I live with wonderful flatmates, but they’ll need the room back as their family is moving in. Ideally, I’d like to live on my own. However, if I really don’t find a place, I’d consider sharing with just one other person, provided they have a similar routine to mine.
I usually go to bed around 8:30 pm and wake up very early, between 4:30 and 5:00 am. Noise after that time—whether from TV, cooking, or doors—makes it difficult for me to sleep and ends up affecting my whole day. Because of this, I really value a quiet and peaceful environment.
I also work from home as a writer, content creator, and storyteller, so a calm space is essential for me to stay focused (though I sometimes work from cafés as well).
I don’t have children or pets, I don’t host parties, and I rarely have visitors. I’m calm, tidy, and very organized. I can also provide references from people I’ve lived with here in Australia if needed.
