Laid-back 26 y.o. professional who enjoys playing soccer, going to the gym and binging on Netflix. I'm generally pretty chilled and friendly and won't say no to a few drinks now and again. I'm currently studying Occupational Therapy full-time and working as a renewable energy developer part-time so I'm normally pretty busy during the week.
Hi - My current roommate is moving to Melbourne and I am looking to fill her room. The apartment is a two bed, two bath apartment, on a safe and quiet street in the leafy area, Bruce. Large shared kitchen, living room and dining area, along with a balcony. The living room has heating and aircon. The place also has a communal pool and BBQ area - great for summer! The apartment comes completely unfurnished, so I am looking for someone who can furnish the common areas, as well as their bedroom. Sorry, no couples. Available: December 12 - the move in date is flexible. Your room: Double size room, with own private bathroom. Comes unfurnished, so you can bring your own furniture. Parking: You will have a dedicated undercover car spot. Bond: Bond is $850
Engineering student at UC in my last year studying software engineering and networks engineering. I work part time, clean, tidy, considerate and organised. I spend a lot of time studying and in my free time i like to cook, gym and socialise :)
- This unit has great access to the Blue Rapid 300 bus-line on Haydon Drive. To walk from the unit, and arrive in the city via bus takes approximately 15 minutes. - The unit is clean: us housemates all keep the communal spaces clean and look after ourselves. Carpets throughout the house give the unit a cosy feel. - The unit is well insulated and carpeted, electricity and gas bills are low in the cooler periods of the year, relative to other properties. - The unit is well built: minimal structural or fixture issues with this unit, which means no time wasted fixing things. - The landlords are fantastic. The couple that own the property rent it out privately, are always available via phone if need be for maintenance, and only come around to inspect the house once every 3 or 4 months. - The unit, and the room available, fronts onto a communal lawn and garden space, which includes a beautiful tree. The window to the room can be fully opened allowing great airflow through the room and house. - The local Bruce shops are only a 5 minute walk away, also en-route to the bus which makes for convenience. The local Chinese take-away shop is cheap and cooks-up big meals, and the local convenience store has very community minded staff. - The room comes with an underground car park for securing your vehicle, located directly underneath the entrance to your unit. - Rent is a good price, considering the location, transport options, and quality of the property and housemates. If you're interested, please send me a message. Viewing times: Saturday 17 Nov. (07:00 - 11:00), Sunday 18 Nov. (07:00 - 11:00), Monday 19 Nov. (16:00 - 20:00) Cheers :) Doug
Hello :) My name is Manjari, originally from Melbourne, and I currently work full time in the Public Service. I'm friendly and social but like my own space and respect the privacy of others. I'm clean and tidy by nature. My current lease is almost up so looking to move into a new home before mid-December :)
I am a student at CIT and I work part-time as a bar supervisor at QT Hotel. I like to keep the house tidy and like to keep my privacy. I also respect others' privacy but wouldn't mind occasional chat over drinks. I will mostly be working during nights and weekends and the rest of the time I will be studying.
Hey there! I'm a 26 year old high school teacher looking for a housemate (and a property). Have teamed up with another girl, a grad lawyer from Melbourne moving up in January. I'm fairly quiet to live with, as I am doing full time teaching and doing my masters, so in the afternoons and weekends I am either at the gym, marking work, or studying (or stress eating). I'm very clean, I cook often, and I'm organised. I have two cats who sleep 20 hours a day and currently spend their day split indoors and out. I'd prefer someone who has lived with/likes cats, as mine are very friendly and like company.
Easy going, clean and happy person to live with. I don’t mind a little bit of mess but hate dishes sitting there for days so if you clean up after yourself we’ll be fine :) Would prefer a female household and not all males.
Hello, we are exchange students coming to Canberra from Canada for Semester 1 in 2019. One of us is studying at ANU and the other at UoCanberra. We are both clean roommates, who are looking to be immersed in what the city has to offer, and super excited to meet new people!
I'm Steph, 23 but old at heart. I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a graduate program. Even though I am a graduate I've been working for a year as a research assistant and I've lived away from home for 5 years (I'm originally from Tasmania), so I'm not clueless when it comes to sharing my space. My hobbies are bushwalking and crochet while watching my latest show on netflix.
Hi, I'm Stacy! I'm 25 and I am working full-time in government. I am active and social and love keeping busy. I am a relaxed, clean and tidy person and I am also very respectful of personal space but enjoy relaxing and socialising over a glass of wine. I am looking for a place to move into by the end of the year, and happy to move into an existing sharehouse or start a new one (would love to look for a nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom place with one other person). If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask!
I am a teacher in a high school Autism Unit. I run after school sport twice a week, and play sport myself. I am on an ice hockey team, Floorball team, and an oztag team. I often have very busy days. I am polite and respectful person. I can be very outgoing, but like my personal space too. I am American (Yes I have an accent-and no I didn’t vote for trump🤣). I have just been nominated for a permanent visa so I will be here for the next 5 years at least. My housemate is about to move in with his partner so I am stuck... and would love to find someone with similar interests.
I’m a public servant who moved to Canberra at the beginning of the year from Queensland! I come with a bunch of furniture and a herb garden. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of people’s space. Hoping to find 1 - 2 lovely people who are equally as keen as me to live in a social but considerate house :)
Hey guys, I’m looking to move in to a place in the inner north at the start of Feb 2019. I’m a psychology student at ANU and I’m pretty easy going. I’d love to live with some respectful and friendly people, I’m not concerned about gender, and I would ideally have at least two housemates (the more the merrier!). I’m clean and tidy and would prefer my housemates to be the same in shared spaces. I'm a fan of regular "house meetings" aka drinks (be it tea or beer) and hanging out. I love animals and will go crazy for pets! I also enjoy cooking together every now and again. If you think we’d get on, let’s chat!
G'day, I'm in the process of transferring to ANU for my 3rd yearish studies in IT. I have experience living in shared accommodation, small rooms, and weekly cleanliness inspections. I am excellent at staying tidy and would prefer housemates who keep areas clean. I'm a fun, laid back dude who'd be keen on getting to know new people. On my off time, I enjoy working out, surfing, bouldering, gaming, and all round relaxing. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am an avid believer of everybody needing their own space and downtime. I'd like fellow flatmates who are also clean, friendly, and sociable but respects other people's private time. Non-smokers ideally. Looking to move into sharehouse/flat, preferably with only 1 or 2 other people or teaming up with someone and hitting up the rental market Unfortunately I'm allergic to all pets known to man except reptiles and fish apparently.
I am a friendly individual who is happy to socialise but also happy to give people their own space. I am considerate of others and for the fact that I would be sharing a space with other people and would therefore pick up after myself and not leave a mess. I have a beautiful dog who is very friendly and the breed is known to be lazy, which I can confirm.
I am a full time student at UC looking for a short-term accommodation as I am ending my contract with UniLodge. I respect others' privacy but I socialize with all people. I lived with 6 other people so I know how to be responsible at home :) I'm also okay with pets, if there are any.
Hi there! I'm Maddie and I'm studying Marketing and Advertising at UC (maybe at ANU next year) I am looking for a place or to team up to find a place, to live for at least a year. I'm a non-smoker, chilled, tidy and respectful of other people's things/space. I'm currently employed as a tennis coach so am away almost all day with uni in the morning and coaching afternoon/night. I love to chat and relax with friends but also would like my own time for things like studying and respect housemates privacy wishes. My interests include sports, gaming, sewing, movie nights and of course anything with good company (and cheese platters!) I'm not a party animal by any stretch but do enjoy the company of friends. I am also a avid baker and make a mean lemon meringue pie if i do say so myself. I have no problems with pets of any kind and in fact would love it. Please don't hesitate to get in touch and exchange numbers to chat further. Hope to hear from you! Cheers :)
I'm a very polite, quiet person but always down to have a chat if you're up for it. I work in hospitality at a job that I love and study at UC part-time. I enjoy listening to music playing the odd video game and catching up with my friends for a coffee. I always clean up after myself and will always help out where needed. Very tidy and respectful of peoples personal space.
