Hey my name is Monique. I'm an international student moving to Canberra at the end of July to study at UC for a year. Looking for a furnished room (or not) somewhere close by. I've shared apartments before so I know how it goes. And no, my dog isn't coming with me sadly. Would love to share a place with someone who has dogs.
I'm a full time student at The University of Canberra studying a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations/Bachelor of Laws. I am social and outgoing, but not over the top. I love to cook, enjoy a bit of wine and cheese, and a good chat. I like to think of myself as a fun person, but not a party animal by any means.
A little bit about me: - I have recently graduated from the University of Canberra - I work in administration, but always looking for my next career move. - Enjoy fitness/sport - Spend a lot of time at the gym or on the tennis court. - I am reliable, neat, friendly and respect the privacy of others. Don't spend a lot of time at home, but when I do I like to just relax, eat and sleep.
I'm a 46 year old professional from Sydney and will be joining a company in Braddon on 5/6/2017. I'm planning to stay in Canberra only 4 week nights (from Monday to Thursday) as I will be travelling to back to Sydney for the weekend. Occasionally I might stay for the weekend. Also I'm looking for a furnished room with an ensuite or separate bathroom (not a shared bathroom). Rent per week - $ negotiable depending on the location..
My name is Sean, these day I am looking for a reasonable room， and l can move in July. I like make my room looks clean and tidy, as the personality I am a easy going and outgoing guy. In the future I plan to study at ANU.
Hi! I am looking for a place to stay close to ANU preferably within 15 minutes from the university. I am joining ANU as a PhD student from end of June. I'm friendly, easy to get along with and like to keep the place where I live tidy. In my free time, I love to watch movies, play sports mostly football and cricket. I am from India and have lived in the Netherlands for 3 years. I have previously lived in a share house in Amsterdam. I always contribute to my share of housework and respect other people's privacy. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I'm a 24 year old starting a Bachelor of Australian Politics and Policy in semester 2 at UC. I'll be relocating from Newcastle, NSW, so am hoping to find somewhere to move into for the first 4 to 6 months to find my feet. All goes well, I'd look at staying for longer. I'm respectful, clean, easy going, love to keep active & always cook enough food for a small country. I work as a professional musician here in Newcastle and have gigs booked until December, so I'll be in Canberra during the week, and Newcastle every weekend for at least 2 to 3 days. In short, I won't be around much for the first few months. But when I am I like to explore, cook food (I'm a vego), drink wine, hang out & should probably get myself a study routine (TBA). I don't know too much about Canberra so I'm open to any suburb within 15 minutes drive to UC and where good coffee isn't too far away. I have a house full of furniture I'm happy to bring or leave in storage, including bedroom furniture. I'm hoping to move in late July, but that's very flexible. Willing to pay more for a master bedroom! Let me know if you've got something that might suit. Cheeeeeers.
What makes me great to live with? Its a toughie, buuuut I love to listen (sounds weird i know) and will happily talk about absolutely anything Im quite clean, I wouldn't say OCD level clean but enough to pass. I enjoy food and love to cook, also happy to share ;) I like gardening even though Im not very good and really have no clue as to what im doing.. I guess just having your own food grown at home is a really cool concept! Id say im a pretty decent human, I have absolutely no urge to get ahead of someone or anything like that, im just kind of cruising along helping anyone in need. I love to laugh and not take life so seriously, still trying to figure out if thats a good or bad thing.. Very spontaneous, wont fail to surprise you with the many ideas and dreams I come up with! Not really sure on what else to say, Im just a very friendly and easy going person who is interested in peoples passions!
I'm a tidy person with good manners who is always up for a great convo or who can keep to themselves depending on what housemate would prefer. I cook a mean lasagne and vegetarian dishes also. I laugh at jokes when they're funny and will be honest with you when i think they're not or when you ask for honesty on other topics. Sidenote: I find most jokes funny even when others might not, so that corny dad joke you and I both laughed at might not get you many other laughs
