Hi, well I'm a student that's studying at UC. I work at a Newsagent and as an AFL Umpire. I like spending time with my mates and family in my spare time. I'm really easy to live with as I do my own thing and don't tend to get in people's way, but I also do socialise and am a people's person. I do more than my fair share around the house and am honest as can be
I am a 34 yr old IT Professional and a fun loving, easy going, clean and tidy person. In my free time, I prefer to listen to music, go on trek or read technical and non-technical books. I am working at Instraclustr, UC. So, I am looking for an accommodation around Bruce or Belconnen 2617, ACT area. I would prefer to stay in a calm and furnished Private room close to public transport. I am married and have two kids but they currently live in India.
Ideal for UC, ANU students (3 minutes and 10 minutes away respectively) as well as commuters to the city (15 minutes). Close to major public transport links into the city and universities. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet - whilst being close to Westfield Belconnen, Calvary Hospital and the City. Room is large, furnished and quiet. The whole house is brand new and is kept clean and tidy. Internet is fast, free and unlimited. All costs (internet, water, electricity) are covered in the weekly rent. Move-in Date: 20th May 2017 Lease Length - minimum 8 months.
My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
- ideal for UC students as it is just a 3 minute walk to the library and just next door to the convenient store and cafes - Bus stop is just 5 minutes away and ideal for ANU and CIT Bruce students. The house is right by the road side so if you're getting dropped off, you arrive right at your door step. - 10GB free internet per month and if you use up your bundle, the additional bundles are cheap to purchase. - You just need to provide utensils and a mattress protector for your bed. - There is a heating system in the room as well to keep you warm during the harsh winter.
I am a 42yo female working 6 days a week as a store manager. I am very tidy and responsible. I am looking for a nice quiet accomodation preferrably with 1-2 people. I am often away, have no pets, my children live interstate. I am nice and easy however keep my distance and do not invade other people's private space. I am planning to move interstate in a few months time but have no particular date set, so my preferred length of stay can be smth from 3 months to 12 months or so, may be a bit longer.

Im a happy easy to get along person. Responsible with paying rent on time and ive NEVER lost my bond in any way in 16 yrs of living from home. Considerate with others and their space but om quite sociable when needed. Im about to start my own Cleaning business so i am a clean tidy individual and i expect the same from others. I'll always pull my weight with house duties but im not a maid lol. I enjoy my own time and am quite comfortable around all personality types. I am a qualified PT so im fit and healthy and im not a slob. I get along with all walks of life. I love to cook and i love my sports. My cat Shadow is well house trained and adapts quickly with new people and her enviroment. I work from 6am to 12pm mon to fri and do casual shift work at the Raiders Gungahlin which so my work times there range from 4pm to 9pm which equals 38hrs per wk usually. I understand the need for quiet when living with others. If i sound like the right person you'd like to live with then feel free to message me. Thank you and i look forward to our first meet.
The location is amazing. Jaeger circuit is like a mini suburb not far from the corner of Hayden Dr and Belconnen way. Two before ten and the bolt bar are in walking distance, Belconnen is two kilometres away, Calvary hospital is at the end of the street and CIT, university of canberra and Bradford college are within a minute drive. There is a bus stop at the end of jaeger circuit which makes travelling to civic and ANU a dream. The house is quaint and is about to be painted to be a little more relaxing. There's a back yard and a deck and the kitchen and living area are all on one level whilst the other levels are bedrooms. There is a study. On, off street and garage parking. The property has an energy efficiency rating of 3.5 so bill won't be too high and heating/cooling the house is easy. The room has an ensuit and walk in wardrobe. Everyone and anyone welcome.
SHORT TERM LEASE The house is nice and modern and fully furnished! Your room would be a huge master bedroom with an ensuite. Large built in wardrobes. The boys share the other bathroom and theres a third one downstairs. Theres a really nice modern kitchen and plenty of space for several people to cook at once. We have two living room areas, a cute little courtyard and a double garage. There's also plenty of on street parking. The house is super close to UC, the footy stadium and Belco. The lease is up in July so this is a short term lease. You would be transferring with me and bond is split evenly - about $700. We have a private arrangement with our landlord so you would need to meet them and fill out an application form to be considered. All bills are split evenly, internet is about $15 a month so super cheap! Looking for someone who is clean, tidy, respectful. Preferably someone who is social and easygoing! There is possibly some furniture if you want it as well - i.e bed, desk and bedside table.
I will be commencing study at UC doing a double degree of health and psychology and will also be transferring my current job and working part-time in retail! I'm looking for either 1 big bedroom or 2 bedrooms for my daughter and myself (she will be 3 years old), she will only stay with me from Monday to Friday and I will commute her back to her dad's house on weekends. She will be enrolled in care Mon - Fri surrounding my work and study so the only times we will really be home is mornings and afternoons! I'm an extremely tidy person and don't like hanging around the house my work/study load permits a day off! I don't smoke but don't mind an occasional glass of wine on the weekend or after a big day :)
Hi! My name is David, I am 24 years old and I am originally from a small town in NSW called Cootamundra. I am looking forward to experiencing the delights of Canberra (especially the mountain biking) and keen to make new friends! I am easy going, punctual, friendly and always clean up after myself (it's always nicer to live in a clean house). I am also very into skiing and plan to do plenty of trips up to the snowy mountains during winter so if you are into that sort of thing or want to try it out, I'd be more than happy to drive you up!
I'm Sarah, I'm 23 years old and I'm studying at UC. I'm doing my masters in occupational therapy. I have lived in share houses for 3 years now so I am used to living communally and understand about communal cleaning. I am clean, tidy, friendly. I like to have a chat with people but respect people's personal space.
Hey I'm Marc and about to move to Canberra to start a full-time job in the commercial property industry. I'm an easy going guy and enjoy socialising and getting out of the house on the weekend but also value my own downtime to unwind and chill out. Living with a flatmate/s who is/are career focused but also friendly and social would be ideal. I'm a tidy person and pull my weight when it comes to being a clean flatmate in shared common areas. If you've got any questions just shoot me a message.

I am a 22 year old IT professional who works at a Television production company in the city. I'm clean and tidy, and have lived with room mates in the past, so I can share a bathroom without leaving the toilet seat up or my towel on the floor. Im very easy to get along with, and am more than up for a chat, however I do respect some personal space and quiet time. Personally I love to watch movies, go for walks about and experience new things. I also like to laugh, so having some housemates with a sense of humour would be a plus. There would be a couple of upsides to living with me: - I'm mildly handy. I can fix all sorts of broken things around the house. - I work in IT so free tech support for you. - I don't mind doing something in the garden if I have to. - I hate late bills, so you'll always have rent and bills paid on time. I am currently finishing up my current lease in Belconnen where I have been living for about 18 months, and will be moving early to mid May. Overall I am a well grounded mature person, and if you think I might be a good fit around at your place please don't hesitate to drop me a message or give me a call.
Bruce complex - It is close to Belconnen and not far from the city. Down the road from the Raiders, hospital and lake. Gyms nearby, lots of amazing places to eat. The unit is 2 storey, 4 bedroom but we only want 3 tenants so that we are not tripping over each other. The 2 of us that will be living there are both quiet people and keep to ourselves and looking for someone similar. I have furnished the house - you only need to furnish your room. Quiet area and friendly neighbours. Very minimal rules - make sure we all pitch in for house hold grocery items(washing detergent, washing powder/softner, foil/cling wrap, wash cloths, bin bags etc.) everyone has to pull their weight and clean up your own mess and also the house when needed before having to be asked. No shoes through the house is preferable. Keeping in mind others live there so keep noise to a minimum late at night and early mornings. We have 2 garage car spaces(1 is mine, the other will be taken by either of the 2 other tenants - decided between them) and also in front of the garage we have 2 spaces. No phone line connected or internet supplied. Bills will be quartered between the 3 of us when the come in. Smokers are fine but its only outside smoking with all windows and doors closed, absolutely no smoking indoors. NO PETS ALLOWED. The room will be available at the end of April but if you need to move in earlier we may be able to arrange for the current tenant to leave prior to her end date. I will require 4 weeks rent and 4 weeks bond will be paid up front upon moving in. Which you will then get back when you leave or lease is up and we decide not to stay - pending there is no damage done etc. Please contact me if you are interested in coming to see the house and the room etc.
I moved to Canberra 4 years ago for Uni. Last year I completed my Bachelor Music/Visual Arts. Now I'm studying to get a qualification in Business and Administration. I'm currently working as floor staff at the National Gallery Cafe. I'm a very easy going, quiet person. I've lived in a few share house situations and I believe respect and consideration of the other flat mates, and doing your share of work and cleaning, is key. I'm a fairly independent person but I also like to sit down at the end of the day and have a good chat with friends. I enjoy drawing and painting. Reading is also a beloved past time of mine.
Room available in a lovely and spacious place in a quiet area. It is close to UC, the AIS and a 5 min drive to Belconnen Mall. Short walk to bus stop that services major routes. The place is fully furnished except for the bedrooms. It has ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling.
Hello Everyone!! My name is Emily, I am 25 years of age, work as a nurses assistant at Calvary and study full time at CIT in enrolled nursing. I am easy-going, considerate, sociable, trustworthy and respect the privacy of others. I enjoy cooking, health and fitness. Looking for not just a house mate but a friend. I have furniture for my room so preferably an unfurnished room would be ideal. I also have a timber hutch which I would love to bring with me.
We are an easygoing, respectful and open minded couple moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, to do a fulltime internship at CSIRO for 6 months. During the week we will be working and in the weekends we would like to explore the area and meet new people:) We have both been living in a housesharing situation for 5-6 years in Amsterdam. We both like sports and being outdoors. Send me a message if you can help us out or want to know more about us!
